Great hotel with really nice rooms. The rooms are clean and modern. Only downside is that there were a lot of ants in the room.
When we arrived, we were told that we had to pay a deposit as we are young girls and are more likely to damage the rooms. We weren’t pre-warned about this and couldn’t find it written on their website anywhere. They didn’t take card for this, they directed us to a cash machine to pay with euros. We did get the full deposit back but did feel that we should’ve been notified beforehand. We booked via Love Holidays but the hotel should make sure that the information advertised is updated and correct.
Around the hotel, there aren’t many restaurants or bars but a taxi to the old town/strip is around 5 - 10 euros each way. Lots of food and drink options around those areas.
The beach is a 10-15 minute walk away and not as overcrowded as the main Albufeira beach.
The pool is clean and has plenty of sunbeds.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel if you want a chilled holiday, yet have the town not too far away if you’d like a night out.

Beautiful hotel, with lovely pool, and everything you need for a chilled and relaxed break. You need a taxi to get to busy areas but the beautiful beach and a few great restaurants are in walking distance. All the staff at Bayside could not be more helpful. Our room was cleaned daily and this place is great value for money. Thank you 🙏

Great hotel rooms need better beds and more sled catering amenities and plug sockets but it is a lovely place. We ate put every night and a bolt was only 5€ into old town. Lovely quiet location

Not a single complaint to make about this place. We paid £220 each for a week here in a one bed apartment and it was beautiful and relaxing. There was just enough space in the apartment for 4 of us but more counter space would've been perfect. Room was spotless and cleaned 5 out of 7 days. Couple mins walk to closest supermarket and there was a few bars and restaurants within a 15 min walk/radius of the grounds. Beach was about a 15 min stroll away too. not much in the way of entertainment, a few things a week including karaoke, bingo, race night which were all good fun. All staff were friendly and efficient and a special shout out to Josef who had to cope with our antics more than once hahaha! The staircase up to our first floor apartment was a crazy tight spiral so if you have mobility issues request a ground floor. Snacks at the hotel were tasty and prices were very fair.

About 5 miles from the old town of Alberfeira, so ok if you want a peaceful holiday, but you either need a hire car or take into account taxi fares if you want bars and restaurants. The hotel has a mini bus that can take you into town at 10.am and pick you up at 3.pm but you need to book the day before.
