Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for 5 days and had a fairly pleasant time. The rooms were cleaned daily to a decent extent (bins emptied, beds made etc) but there were many marks on walls, shower and lamps hanging very loose around our room. The balcony was nice, decent size and had a fantastic view of the surrounding area and above the pool (third floor). The guests either side of us unfortunately were extremely unpleasant, on our last night here a huge group of guests piled into the neighbouring apartment, heavily smoking and blasting music to the point it felt like I had headphones on! No sleep for me before my transfer!… another night we had 20 solid minutes of people hanging outside our door, trying to get into our room via the handle. Rather scary! On a positive note, the breakfast service we paid for was pleasant and offered a decent selection every morning we ate there. The pool itself was clean and spacious, despite there seeming to be a lot of rubbish poolside and in the surrounding areas which wasn’t overly pretty. The location of the hotel is on an extremely steep hill, so beware if you’re travelling with young children or elderly folk. It wasn’t too bad for us as we’re in our 20’s but we opted for a taxi back up the hill most nights. The hotel is fairly close to the main strip with a 10 min walk inbetween, full of bars, bistros and restaurants. Overall for our first holiday it was fairly pleasant, we didn’t spend too much time in the hotel as a whole but the time we spent here was okay, definitely has its faults :(

A Peaceful Stay at Benidorm East by Pierre & Vacances 🌴 We arrived in the early hours (2am) and were pleasantly surprised by how smooth and hassle-free the check-in process was—quick, friendly, and efficient. The reception area immediately set a positive tone: clean, cool, and welcoming. Our room was spotless and well-maintained throughout the stay, with daily cleaning and fresh towels provided when needed. The view from our room was absolutely stunning, and the surrounding area was blissfully quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The only minor downside was the air conditioning, which didn’t feel quite as cool as we’ve experienced in other hotels. That said, it wasn’t a dealbreaker and certainly wouldn’t stop us from staying here again. Overall, we highly recommend Benidorm East for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-kept hotel with great service and beautiful views. 🌞

After reading the reviews I was shocked. I must of stayed in a different hotel! Staff have been absolutely amazing & really helpful. Our patio door didn’t lock at first. Partner went down & with in seconds of him being back in the door a guy came to fix it. Rooms are standard but clean. Nice little vending machines near the stairs/lifts. In door pool you need a swimming cap but nowhere on site to buy one. Lovely little shop. Would stay here again. My only issue is the hills & I know that can’t be helped.

Stayed here on a lads holiday- room quality was good however there was some mould in the bathroom. We were staying on the first floor which meant our balcony was over a roof and we didn’t have much of a view. This was a letdown. The cleaners were really nice and offered to clean every day. Pool is excellent however the food at the bar is just frozen supermarket stuff. Overall this hotel is great value and far better than other venues in Benidorm

Very nice hotel. Comfortable beds Comfortable pillows, Plenty of them. Very hilly location. €18 per night to park a car but free to blue badge holders. Check-in was quick and efficient. The bar is very expensive! The dining room is very noisy. The food is okay, plenty of it, but by the time you found everything you need and get to eat your food, the air-conditioning has made it cold. All in all a very nice hotel and we would go back.

Great holiday. Staff were nice. Rooms nice and clean, fresh towels and bedding everyday. Entertainment was good. Pool was good although small never really a problem plenty of room for us with our floats. Loved the games around the pool and the aqua dance in the pool. Food was good, each evening is a different selection so some evenings we didn't like the seafood options but out of 7 days there was only 2 evenings where we didn't eat much. Jacket potato's were amazing! Night life good, nice bars that are family friendly with good shows and tributes on. Fab holiday very happy but sad to leave!

Food first class Cleanliness very good. Rooms could do with a wee tidy Marks on bedroom wall. Bathroom door didn't shut and air conditioning wasn't very good in our room. Staff all friendly and very helpful. Location great. If 3 people were sharing I would recommend upgrading to a superior room as they are a lot bigger. But overall great hotel. Would come back here.

Nice hotel, plenty of sun beds. Pool opens at 10 so no early rising to save a bed. Rooms nice and clean. Lifts can be slow at busy times. Thought it odd that you have a token to get a cup from the pool bar for you drinks, but actually it is a good idea as there was no half drunk cups lying around. Just took empty cup to bar and they give you a drink in a clean cup. Good food selection could always find something to eat. If you are a fussy eater or someone who likes English food while in Spain then you may struggle, but we found it ok. The desserts are amazing. Location good less than 10 min walk to beach.

Reception and restaurant staff helpful, but cleaning and bar staff not up to the job. Towels and sheets changed daily, but the same pubic hairs from other guests remained in place all week. Dust never got cleaned the whole time. Shower and sink never cleaned either. Air conditioning was poor. Bar staff were rude and grumpy, slamming drinks on the counter, no order to serving, 7 to 8 people that arrived at the bar after you would be served first. They would get very annoyed if you asked for no ice. One day a man got so drunk he walked into the pool area where there was lots of young children, his shorts fell down and it was clear he had pooped himself. The staff weren't interested in dealing with him. After he left where he had been seated the seats weren't disinfected. Other guests drinking in the pool. Lots of debris in the pool. The communal toilets were quite often blocked and had excrement smeared over the seats and remained like that for most of the day even though we had made the staff aware. Food in the restaurant was very repetitive with a lot of fish. Not enough detail about what each product was. Quite often leftovers made to make other dishes. The food was very bland. By the way, if I get a generic response asking me to contact you with more details to discuss, I think everything you need is in this review.

We had 10 days here and we had an amazing time. The entertainment team are amazing, special shout out to Mabi who was so lovely and friendly every day and made us feel special. The food was great there were loads of options, they had a 7 day rotation for different cuisines so it’s not the same stuff everyday. The snack bar was great and the drinks were delicious! The pool was pretty small and usually was full of kids playing in so not really good for swimming but good to just to have a dip to cool off in! There was always stuff to do entertainment wise in the day and evening, and they were very good at getting people involved! If I was being really picky the only downside would be not getting fresh towels/toilet roll when needed, some days we would get our beds made but they forgot toilet paper and hearing other guests it sounds like it happened a lot but we weren’t too bothered just had to go to reception to get some more :) Also I cut my foot on a sharp tile in the pool on my first day which wasn’t ideal on day one as it wouldn’t stop bleeding and it needed to have a plaster on the whole holiday which was slightly annoying so just be weary! Overall it’s a 5/5 from me and my family and we will definitely be back in the future! Thank you so much to all the team!

3 friends and myself are just home on Tues 26th August from a 6 day stay in Ambassador 1 hotel and we had an absolute ball from start to finish. What a fabulous hotel, with extremely helpful and friendly staff. Our cleaner (room 1202/1203) did a fantastic job in our rooms every day, fresh towels and a thorough clean. The food was delicious and plenty of choice. My request for low floor rooms wasn't a problem to them. Great pool view and onto the start of the strip. The entertainment was brilliant. We'd definitely love to stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic hotel the rooms were very clean and well maintained the staff were all friendly the pool area was great only issue was there weren't enough umbrellas for all the sunbeds but that didnt cause many issues everyone just got on with it. The bars were all fantastic and again had really friendly staff working. The food was fabulous everything from breakfast to the evening meal was really nice with lots of different dishes every day there was something different. We had a lovely time here and we will definitely be returning again next year.

Fantastic hotel with beautiful food. Very very clean in fact it was Spotless. Beds so comfy rooms are a bit of luxury. Plenty of sunbeds available. Very central location we had a room at the back so no pool view which actually turned out to be a lot better and would prefer that side next time. Bar downstairs is very cool. Absolutely loved this hotel definitely worth 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The hotel was lovely, it was clean, staff were friendly and attentive, the only issue I had was the view. We were on the second floor and our view was the car park. This was a little disappointing but it hasn’t put us off going back, we will just make sure we ask for a better view. There was entertainment on every night. The food was great, I would say that although there was a lot of choice, there wasn’t much choice for kids during the evening meal.

I am staying in this hotel at the moment arrived on the 24th of August 2025 we are here for 10 days. When we arrived we brought our own scooters. When we arrived we got told our scooters never had anywhere to put them so got told to take them to our rooms which you couldn't swing a cat in. Fire hazard right away for a disabled person as it had to sit at the door plus you can't use the toilet unless you move it 1st. 2nd complaint. You cannot take your own water into the restaurant. 3rd complaint!! Myself and the fella behind me witnessed the servers lifting spilled pasta and putting it back into the tray that people then went onto eat. Who knows who had held it 1st. With covid going around. Put me right off eating in the dining room. Won't be back to this Hotel again...if your disabled please! Please please 🙏 do not book this hotel.. they just want your money. Book somewhere you get treated well. And get the respect you deserve. I know people will read this and will not give a dame on my reveiw..but this is for every disabled person planning coming to this hotel. Reception staff not helpful at all had to contact our jet 2 holiday rep to resolve this...

Fantastic hotel, the rooms are very modern, well equipped and clean. The food is excellent, great selection. The pool area is good. Very Close to the beach and bars. It can be noisy at night but I suppose if you're not looking for somewhere lively, you would be better in the old town. The rooms have a safe, fridge, hairdryer, kettle. Would highly recommend.

Just returned after a week full board . Stayed before a few years ago , and it’s still just as nice . Food , plenty of choice. Pool bar reasonable beer prices €2 a pint Soft drinks more expensive . Always sun beds available, but if you want.one by the pool you need to get down at 8:30 . I like the fact they do remove towels from sun beds if you try to reserve them after 40 mins unattended.

The hotel was superb. The staff were friendly. The food was excellent. I am normally hard to find food I like on A.I. but I had no problems here. We were in an adapted room, which was great. Minor gripe. A pity the adapted rooms didn't have patio doors to pool.

What a hotel right in the heart of the new Town 2 min walk to the strip, 5 min to Levante beach you pay a little more for a pool view but sun all day and quiet at night if your nosy then the Street side is for u but found you can still here background noise even with the door closed hotel and rooms are exceptionally clean can have your room cleaned every day if u want. People queue up for the sunbeds and it's hilarious when security takes the towels off and you can pick them up from reception pool has a gentle slope so no stairs Great if you are in a wheelchair or have mobility problems fantastic hotel

My stay at the accommodation was acceptable — the place is decent, although it clearly needs renovation. I would have given it 3 stars if it weren’t for what happened after I left. I accidentally left behind a gold necklace that belonged to my late grandmother, which held great sentimental value. I called the person in charge and asked her to check with the cleaning staff, but I was told it “didn’t turn up.” Unfortunately, the necklace was never returned. What’s most upsetting is not just the loss of the item, but the lack of honesty and empathy shown. It’s truly disappointing, and I feel it’s important that other guests are aware of this experience.

A wonderful place to stay with stunning views and peaceful neighbourhood. If one is touring spain and anywhere on the east coast they need to visit Altea and stay at Pierre Vacances! Best property by the sea. Wonderful restaurants and a beach facing shack right outside. We visited on the Spain Black Day and it was even more serene with little lights and only the sound of the waves to break the silence. The apartment is very comfortable with both heating and cooling options. Great balcony and wonderful view. Very clean and spacious apt. Complete value for money.

Please notice that 70 m2 apartments are nice looking in the photos BUT SMELL ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE AND UNHEALTHY (building 7 seven 1st apartment floor apt. 306). It 200 meters away from the main building which is the one presented in the photos. They are renovated to a very old building which smells absolutely horrible. Untolerable. ’Service’ is 0 stars at it is non-existing. First the receptionist said she ”cannot make an upgrade” when I offered money to her, us to stay in the main building. THEN she said ”You need to call to where you booked it from” even though I booked from Pierre & Vacances own website!! After calling for 15 minutes to UK she walks outside to say she has talked to a superior and could change our apartment. Where was this half an hour earlier? That ’superior’ apartment had a very strong perfume odour from cleaning products. Not good at all. Still, the ’service’ was the worst. She was the lousiest receptionist I have ever met, with the experience from dozens of accommodations in around 30 countries. First she said TWICE I need to make the call myself. THEN she starts acting like ”she couldn’t say it as I had been upset” about she forcing me to call from Spain to UK with a Finnish mobile phone number (which probably cost me another 50-100 euros as I tried to call for the 3rd time to get my money back - didn’t succeed, only got directions how to make a complaint online). However it was clear it was not worthwhile to ruin my special holiday by staying. Stay instead anywhere else than here.

Apartment was nice had dishwasher and washing machine as well as normal facilities no kettle tho but used saucepan. It was quite spacious with a nice view. A few nice restaurants nearby but supermarket up steep hill and no transport nearby. Not really anything to do in this area so had to get cabs to get out.

We booked this hotel for a family vacation and were pleased to find a 4-star hotel located away from the noisy party areas near the beaches. We assumed this would provide a quiet environment and a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately, we were mistaken. First, it’s important to note that the hotel is situated directly above a major bus terminal. This wouldn’t be such an issue if the hotel had double-glazed windows, but it doesn’t. As a result, the loud sounds of bus engines became the constant background noise whenever we tried to sleep. Even closing the windows properly was difficult, as they are, like much of the hotel, quite old. We also believed that booking a 4-star hotel outside the city center would help keep away party groups and rowdy guests. Sadly, this was not the case. The hotel was full of such groups, and the staff didn’t make much effort to separate them from families. The hallways have terrible acoustics, and the doors close with a loud slamming mechanism. Any late-night conversations or door slams echoed throughout the hotel, waking us up repeatedly. Over our eight-night stay, we didn’t have a single uninterrupted night’s sleep. Even if you manage to fall asleep, the beds are not true beds. They’re thin platforms with legs and a mattress on top. Because the legs are so narrow and the furniture is poorly maintained, the entire bed shakes whenever you turn over. When we raised this issue, housekeeping simply provided sticky pads to put under the legs. If you’re vegan or vegetarian, be aware that you’ll struggle to find protein during your stay. We booked a full-board package, but nearly 90% of the dishes included meat or fish. Although the kitchen sometimes added vegetarian options, none of the dishes were labeled, so it was impossible to tell which items were suitable for vegetarians. Another issue was the policy on drinks. Even with full-board, you have to pay for drinks at lunch and dinner. They wouldn’t even serve tap water, which we found absolutely unreasonable. On a positive note, the hotel was clean, the pool was nice (as long as they weren’t blasting loud club music for hours on end—which seems to be a weekend habit), and the dining room staff was friendly. The hotel also offers free parking, and there’s plenty of space and easy access. Overall, the hotel is in desperate need of a complete renovation and furniture upgrade. If you’re a light sleeper, this place could truly drive you crazy. I would strongly advise against it for families or anyone seeking a quiet, relaxing vacation.

Good value for money. It's located right beside the bus station. Nice and quiet away from all the action. The 20-30min walk to the oldtown/beach is downhill, so it's not too much of an issue. The room and bathroom were a great size. The pool/gym facilities were good too. They were very quiet in the morningtime.

We booked this hotel as we were going to a party in La Nucia, and the hotel was in close proximity and an easy place for pick up and drop off. The staff were welcoming and friendly both at the check-in desk and the cafeteria. The rooms were a nice size and generally quite clean. There were just a few things that could've been improved (smears on glass in bathroom and bedroom, a used chewing gum that was stuck on the side of the wardrobe and a clothes sticker on the bathroom counter).

We booked this hotel knowing it was up out of town, and was a walk, so know it won't suit everyone. Great base, right above the bus station and 2 mins walk from the train station. 10/15 min walk into the old town and avantie beach front. Hotel it's self feel like a city break hotel, rooms really great size, air con - best I think we have ever had abroad. Bathroom great size, and shower brilliant amazing pressure. Room has 2 double beds, and extremely comfortable brilliant. Pool area really nice and pool bar really reasonable priced, Julia the server was just lovely. I would 100% book this hotel again.

Good room on 14th floor with superb view, and early morning sun.The best coffee is in the basement restaurant for your morning pick me up. Great choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner...but....some of the staff in the dining room/restaurants are very surly and are not helpful or polite, as are some of the reception staff. Politeness costs nothing and in the hotel business your only as good as your last reviews. Great swimming pools,and the entertainment is acceptable but nothing special. The lifts to the top floor ,which are on the outside of the building are special and the views when you are going up and down are spectacular. Taxis are always available outside and the selection of trips and tours is immense...try Valencia for a day trip ...awesome. We have now experienced the Grand Hotel Bali and I don't think we will be back I n the near future....but who knows...anything is possible.

During our stay, we had three buffet meals a day. The food was tasty, and there were always several options to choose from, so we always had something we liked. The rooms are air-conditioned, but a little older, but since we were only sleeping there, it wasn't a problem. Beach within 500m, approx. 10 minutes by walk. I would especially like to highlight the excellent and friendly approach of the reception manager - Pablo Mut, who was very helpful and assisted with every request.

Came to the Benidorm dance festival to stay at this hotel for convenience. The check in is super slow. Over 1h wait. Then waiting for my room to be released at 4pm! Some reviews tell you that the hotel is modern and the hotel staff is friendly. I must have gone to a different hotel! 😅 The breakfast is quite bad. Processed food and no natural juices. On a positive side, the room is nice and the bed is comfy. However, we are on level 14 and the animations they have on the ground floor pretty is super loud! It goes until midnight every single day!

Everything was absolutely wonderful! Despite some of the online reviews, I personally found everything at this hotel to be truly great. The hotel was very clean, the food was delicious, and overall, it’s a fantastic place for families with children — every evening there’s entertainment for the little ones, followed by shows for adults. The staff was very friendly, understanding, and helpful whenever needed. And I have to mention the view from our room — it was simply breathtaking, we were left speechless! Honestly, everything was amazing. The hotel offers everything you might need, and if you go outside, the beach is just a 10-minute walk away — or even 7 minutes if you use Google Maps. There are plenty of shops and restaurants all around. This hotel really has it all. I also want to say a special thank you to Melissa and her Guest Experience team for helping me organize a surprise for my wife’s birthday — cake, flowers etc, everything was arranged in advance over the phone before we even arrived, and they handled it all with such care and attention to detail. Thank you again, Gran Bali Hotel, for a truly beautiful stay. We will definitely come back, because we’ve been left with such wonderful memories. Damian.

Visited this hotel 3 times and enjoyed every stay. Stayed on the 4th, 12th and 23rd floor and seen some beautiful views. Also paid extra and visited the sky bar waw what an experience even better views from 43 storys high!! The hotel is 4 star with 3 great size pools plus 1 jacuzzi pool. Only ever tried the food at breakfast as ive only ever stayed b&b. ■The rooms are clean, spacious and modern ■ Bus stop outside the hotel ■ 5-10 min walk to the beach, mini golf, restaurants along the beachfront etc. ■There's restaurants, pubs, pharmacy and supermarket all within walking distance of the hotel. ■ It's a 20min drive to the strip but perfect If you don't mind staying out of the town as you can always taxi or bus it like we did. ■ Tallest building in Europe!!! ■ Outside lift that overlooks benidorm (cracking views) also has inside lifts with no view ■ x2 Pool bars ■ Entertianment in the nights outside by the main bar ■ Games room by pool

Lovely beautifully presented hotel with large spacious rooms and a good selection for food available to half board residents. The staff were also extremely friendly and kind to us, speaking fluent English and Spanish. They helped us order taxis, get new room keys when they deactivated and were just generally nice. The poolside bar was a nice touch too, although it was hard getting a subbed in the morning! The hotel itself is very close to the beach and Albir strip. I would re commend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the area as it was very good value for money and contributed to our fantastic stay in spain.

We stayed at this hotel only for 1 night , it’s on a hill which is a bit of a walk , hotel gardens and pool area nice , you can’t leave your towels on sunbeds for more than 15 minutes and go off otherwise they are taken off , the staff were helpful and friendly , the room was clean beds comfortable, Negatives the air con was useless hardly anything coming out , window curtains hanging off , breakfast not brilliant. No tea or coffee in rooms All in all we wouldn’t class this hotel as a 4 star and wouldn’t want to stay here for a week ( just our opinion) the odd night would be ok

Will never go back. Arrived @ 3am and the receptionist barked at my partner when he had already responded to me, another receptionist was extremely rude when we tried to ask for something. The rooms are standard, when we arrived the fridge was old with stains all around it, the door handle in the bathroom came off (however was fixed very quickly by a very polite maintenance man ☺️) and the shower head needed cleaning. The location isn't the best a good 20 minute walk to the beach and the nearest shops (I walk regularly and this was strange for a hotel location). The restaurant staff are pleasant and the spa staff are lovely.

Just got back from Sun Palace and whilst the hotel is spotlessly clean (bonus) it is lacking in many areas! The hotel is up quite a steep hill which we already knew after reading reviews. However, we were not told in advance that the bus transfers wouldn't drop us at the hotel due to roadworks on the hill. Trying to drag the heavy suitcases up the hill was a killer! They do seem to have cleared the road works now as we did get picked up outside. The hotel is advertised with a roof top terrace boasting 360° views of Albir.. we went up to the terrace on our first night at 10pm to find signs saying it's open 10am-8pm. Went back up there at 10.30am next morning and still closed, so we didn't bother attempting to go up again as it never seemed open and it's such a shame there is no bar up there for evening drinks to watch the sunset! Gym is very basic with extremely old equipment, my partner pulled a muscle in his neck using the rower due to the damaged cable. We had breakfast and dinner included - food is ok, just what you expect at hotel inclusive meals. They do allow you to change dinner to lunch with a day's notice. Water, juice and hot drinks included for breakfast, but not even cold water offered at lunch/dinner.. any drinks has to be purchased. I think they are making money in the wrong areas. It wouldn't hurt to have the cold water tanks available all day. There is absolutely no atmosphere at this hotel, the bar/lounge areas have no music during the day and into the evening it's like walking around a ghost town, so no wonder noone sits there for a drink! We never stayed for evening entertainment as the reviews said how poor it was. Pool table also out of order for the whole stay. Rooms were very clean, and towels changed every time you chuck them in the bath for changing. But most things are wobbly and on the verge of breaking, towel rail and shower head holder in bathroom, balcony chairs about to snap and bedside lamps loose and wonky. We paid for a sea view room and unfortunately there is a gigantic palm tree obstructing the view which is an extreme shame. The views would be incredible if they just chopped down these trees. We did ask to move rooms but no avail. Poolside, nice area with pretty views, however the lack of sunbeds is very disappointing! There are around 20beds for the entire hotel and everyone scrambling for them at 9.30am which is not how you want to start off your morning. There is a huge section of fake grass with loads of rattan chairs which just need to be replaced with more sunbeds. It is definitely not a 4star hotel, needs a lot of TLC and hope the many recent negative reviews can make these changes happen! Recommendations would be to offer a free shuttle bus to get the less mobile people up and down that steep hill(if they do offer this it was never brought to our attention) Also put kettle/tea and coffee facilities in rooms Things to do: Walk to Altea along the sea front promenade takes around 40minutes one way and lovely view points up on the square. Walk from the hotel to the lighthouse approx 5km round trip, definitely worth it.

We stayed here over the August Bank holiday and was extremely impressed for the value for money considering the summer holidays. Very nice facilities, We had a clean room with a powerful shower, working aircon and great view down to the swimming pool, staff friendly and always happy when serving you, noticed some of the prices for food were abit on the high side....but we still ordered when we wanted, Th morning breakfast always had good variety too. Location was perfect, in short walking distance from everything you could need, Cheap supermarket, local restaurants with loads of food options if your fussy! Fully expected the Long hill on return to the hotel so I wont complain about that as if you do your research it shouldn't put you off, Was always made easier with an ice cream on the journey back up. :D Overall we would definetly stay back here again!!!

Location was excellent. The rooms are big & bright, large tv, kettle, comfy bed, spacious balcony and really powerful shower with a choice of two heads. The breakfast had a good choice of food and plenty of tables to sit at. The lifts are fast and there are five of them, one of which shows you the city and sea as it rises. The staff on reception are lovely they really know about Benidorm and they are so helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day and kept to a very high standard. I will be back.

Was expecting it to be pretty busy as it was not long before sunset, but got an outdoor seat straight away. A pint and a Sangria for 8.50€ which is just the same as many places on ground level.

Such a lovely place with genuinely friendly people, delicious food at the buffet and beautiful surroundings. We’ve been to this area before, but this stay felt really special as it was our first time at this hotel. With two little ones, we always look for somewhere the whole family can enjoy, and thanks to the two brilliant entertainers our children had the best time playing with them and the other kids. A wonderful experience – we’ll be more than happy to return next summer xx

I came here with some hope, drawn in by the name “Playa” and the four-star promise, but I left feeling more disappointed than anything else. Despite being called a beach hotel, it’s actually nowhere near the beach. You rely on a shuttle (free, thankfully), but the setting is far from what you imagine when booking a “Playa” holiday. The hotel itself feels tired. The pool is about the size you’d expect in a private Spanish home, not in a resort, and the whole place is really in need of an upgrade. It feels small, dated, and not deserving of its four stars. There were some good points: it was clean, the breakfast buffet was decent, and most of the staff were kind, though the reception team seemed a little jaded. The guest mix is very much dominated by English tourists, with some Spanish visitors as well. In the end, it just wasn’t what I was hoping for. If you absolutely must be in Albir, then this hotel is serviceable. But if you’re dreaming of a warm-weather holiday by the sea, there are hundreds of better—and often cheaper—choices.

The location is probably one of the only good thing this hotel has going for it. As a family of 4 we were expecting a lot more from our rooms, our children 11&7 have to share a sofa bed and the rooms are pretty small. The staff around the hotel lobby area and canteen area are very rude. We had got some pastries from the Lidl next door and ate in the outdoor seating area. The canteen manager said this isn’t a picnic area and we can not eat here. I asked where we could eat however he wanted to turn this into an arguement in front of my children. I invited him to have this conversation with me in the lobby. I advised that there were no signs to say that we can not eat food in the areas we were eating, he stormed off to say he was getting the hotel director, a few mins later he slammed a sign on the table which did state that food not bought in the hotel could t be eaten there. Don’t really have a problem with that, but I do have an issue with his attitude. Also water is only provided with your evening meal if you pay for it. No options given for tap water as they remove all glasses from the table when you decline the glass water. Very poor experience. Some of the staff were really nice (the cleaners and the lady that drives the hotel minibus) and there was one lady one reception who advised about security camera, after being told by a male me member of staff there are no cameras in the room where my sunglasses were stolen. Other review cover a lot of other points about small pool area and sunbed rush.

What a lovely hotel. Just got back home. Only stayed bed and breakfast but breakfast was top class! Staff very helpful and pleasant. Hotel was exceptionally clean. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels. Lots of available sun beds with umbrellas. Don't beleive bad reviews. This hotel is excellent!

The hotel is located in a residential area, very quiet. The accommodation is good with minuses in terms of cleanliness, the balconies are full of dust as well as the furniture in them. The restaurant has varied and tasty food but a big problem is represented by the fact that the plates, forks, glasses are washed IMPROPERLY WITH FOOD LEAVES STUCK ON THEM, WITH TRACES OF FAT, it filled me with a large amount of disgust. We stayed for 10 days. Hotel was nice and clean, food was great. Room was small for a family of four but it was a last minute getaway. Staff nice and friendly. Waiters in the dining room work extremely hard. Location was excellent for us as we didn’t like it to rowdy because we have children with us. Near to the beach and shops. Very busy so if you want peace don’t go to Benidorm in August. Roof top pool was quite small but good enough for us. I would highly recommend a stay in this Hotel. I’ve never been to Benidorm before and was pleasantly surprised.

Our 2nd year staying at the Avienda Hotel. I really enjoy the hotel. It's location on the edge of the Old Town and so close to the beach is brilliant. All of the staff are helpful, friendly, and polite. Our friend who travelled with us is coeliac and her diet was carefully and considerately dealt with by the kitchen and restaurant staff. The food on offer is fresh, tasty and varied. The bar is well stocked with branded drinks. This is an excellent hotel and we will return.

The selling points of this hotel are the location, food, and amazing staff, especially Dani, who was an absolute angel when my partner was taken ill when we stayed last week. She is a real credit to your hotel :-) The first room we had was one overlooking the internal courtyard, and although spacious, it was far too hot. The fridge in the room didn't work and was pumping out heat which acted like a radiator and along with no AC (not switched on at that time of year), made the room unbearable (especially when ill). Having said this, we changed rooms after a few nights for a small surcharge and the staff were very accommodating. The rooms are very clean and spacious, and WiFi throughout. The location of the hotel, which is centrally located in the Old Town means you often get noise at night, but hey, it's Benidorm. The food is lovely with great variety at breakfast, lunch and dinner and the staff are very kind and helpful. I'd definitely recommend I'd you're looking for a hotel with a great location, great staff and food.

The rooms were okay. Bathroom was very dated but serviceable. Shower was excellent. There are NO coffee/tea facilities in the room. No iron. Ancient fridge that literally pumped out heat so had to be turned off as the air conditioning is not switched on until the summer. You couldn't write it. We kept bottled water in the bathroom sink in cold water. The breakfast buffet was okay and we had dinner 1 night but that was quite poor and I wouldn't recommend it. The bar had a fantastic choice at really competitive prices. The bar service was exceptional. The location is superb.

We stayed here 2 weeks ago, we were offered the VIP experience as part of the package. The hotel wasn’t ready as stated and they were still finishing off the VIP areas. We weren’t impressed and my wife complained to the management. I am giving them 5 stars because they upgraded my parents to VIP this week. They are staying there for 1 week and said they like the hotel a lot. I rate my stay as 3 stars but the management handled the complaint well.

My friend and stayed in this hotel during the bank holidays for 3 nights. First I would like to start off by saying that the reception staff were amazing and were always around to help if we needed anything.This goes to the beverage team as well especially Alfredo who was so amazing and sweet. The buffet food was also amazing ! Regarding the hotel itself we don’t believe that this is a 4 star hotel for a couple of reasons; 1.There is no coffee station in the room where people can have a couple of warm drinks in their room which most hotels do even with less starts 2.The Beverage team do not have the best English so it took us a while to explain to them what we needed for a drink . The one main limitation of this holiday is the area portrayed with the private bar and the chairs and sofas outside on their website which apparently does not exist as of now, We were checking out yesterday and upon check out a lovely receptionist advised us that this area was still in progress which I thought was unfair even though it’s not the staffs fault .Please note that people would book this hotel mainly because of this area as it’s gorgeously portrayed on their website but then they come to the hotel and it’s not actually there. Unfortunately we didn’t leave as happy as we thought we would because we paid a lot of money for a 3 day holiday, probably around £700.00 with the flights and only breakfast included in the hotel . I believe that area should not be on the website as it’s wrong that it’s still in progress which is what people would not know when they book the hotel 🙂

Absolutely amazing place. Me and my partner stayed here on a Friday-Friday week long stay with a sea view balcony room. View was absolutely beautiful each morning and had lovely rooms with air conditioning and comfy beds. Staff were absolutely brilliant so kind and welcoming. We had the Bed and breakfast option and the food was absolutely fantastic. The pool is very clean and deep and perfect for cooling off, also the sunbeds around the pool are brilliant. If I could give this 6 stars I would. Absolutely recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel staff are extremely friendly, kind, and always helpful. The food was delicious, and from time to time there was even live entertainment, which we really enjoyed. We chose this place mainly because of the pool and the proximity to the sea – and we definitely did not regret it! ☺️ One small suggestion: the pool closes after 8 PM, while in many other hotels it is possible to use it later in the evening. We believe more guests would also visit the bar if children could enjoy a swim after dark, especially since parents wouldn’t take them into the sea at that time. Overall, a lovely experience and we would happily return!

Great hotel right on the beach. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Many food options within walking distance. If you are driving, there is no on-site parking, but there is a carpark a block or so over or you can try your luck finding street parking. We had the breakfast buffet which was great for the kiddos with many options. We got the suite with a "queen" and bunks which had a beautiful view of the beach.

I booked this hotel as a little 4 night getaway for me and my mother-in-law and Hotel Brisa did not disappoint! We had a very early flight out and we arrived at the hotel at around 11am (which was obviously way before check in), staff were helpful and let us use the luggage room to put our cases in and we enjoyed a couple of hours at the pool. Staff updated as soon as our room was available. I booked us the frontal sea view room and there was definitely wasn't any complaints the view was beautiful and to sit on the balcony and hear the waves crashing was so relaxing. The room was very spacious, and was equipped with a kettle with selection of tea and coffee, a safe, a fridge, a hair-dryer and basic toiletries. We were half board, and the food was fab, there was lots of selections for breakfast both hot and cold. As for evening meals, there was completely different choices everyday and something to suit everyone. I also would like to make a special shoutout in this review to one of the staff members called CARLOS, he was so friendly each time we entered the dinning room he always had a smile on his face. CARLOS also made THE BEST Mojitos I have ever tasted, he went to every table each evening and let guests try it and safe to say, that was then our favourite drink the whole holiday. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay and we will definitely be back Hotel Brisa!!!

Helpful service, great location (although loud on Saturday evenings), delicious food, fish, meat, vegetables, seafood, etc. every day, definitely everyone will find something for themselves. In the room a kettle, fridge, plenty of storage space. Daily cleaning. Very well-kept hotel. Possibility of borrowing an iron for free. One day we had to leave the hotel before breakfast hours, so we asked at the reception for a takeaway breakfast - we were surprised when we got a whole bag of nutritious food with bread and even cutlery. I highly recommend!

Just got back from the flamingo oasis with my wife and 2 children and we had a fantastic time. On arrival there were staff greeting us with drinks while we were waiting to check in, which was fairly quick considering how many arrived. The room itself was a good size, clean and tidy, with a decent sized balcony. Kettle with tea and coffee and a mini fridge. Air conditioning. The restaurant food was good if not a little repetitive but there was always something there that we all liked to eat. The pool itself was nice with a hut serving drinks and some snacks like nuggets/toasties/burgers. The only downside to the pool area was the rat race every morning for a sun-bed and the fact people were hogging sun umbrellas and not actually using them. There should have been a better system in place for this. That said you could always get a sunbed although not in a prime location. The wait for the lifts was a nightmare at meal times and they could have done with air conditioning in them. The bars around the hotel all had a good selection of drinks for the adults and kids, and the staff were all very friendly. Plenty of entertainment for the kids during the day and in the evening, although the adult evening entertainment I thought was average at best most nights. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and we would return again.

We had 14 nights here in June 2025 and we have stayed in the Flamingo oasis on 3 holidays in the past. We have always found it to be clean and the staff very friendly. The rooms are of a good size and are cleaned on a daily basis. One night we were woken to the sound of water dripping rather badly it was coming out of the air conditioning. Reported it to the reception in the morning on the way out to town. On our return to our room about 2 hour's later it had all been repaired and cleaned. We were very impressed by the service. Good selection of foods in the restaurant, something for most people. No complaints and look forward to returning there in the near future. We thank you for helping to make our stay memorable.

Great family hotel in a great location, a short walk to the beach and not too close to the pubs and clubs. All staff were friendly and the food was superb, don’t be put off by people saying the lifts are a nightmare. I guarantee you won’t be waiting 15 minutes for one, slight exaggeration there on one review I read. We never had a problem locating sunbeds by the pool, although people still feel the need to get up and queue for the pool to open 🙄.

I have just got back from a 7 night stay with my wife and 3 children. We really enjoyed our holiday. The location was amazing being only a 10 minute walk from the beach. The only negatives we experienced were the evening meals got repetitive after a few days, the lifts can be a nightmare, we were sometimes waiting for 10-15 minutes before we finally got a lift come. A few of the hotel staff were rude but the majority were really helpful and friendly.

I have stayed at the flamingo oasis many times, I have three children under 8 and they have had a fantastic holiday, they love the pool snacks and the ice cream. The only things I think it could improve on was more parasols and for the entertainment to be outside. It was super hot in the room with the entertainment.

We arrived as a party of 10 late at night and were greeted with a smile with the man on the service desk. Checked in (5 rooms total) with no issues and were told they had saved some food for us as we were late arrivals. It was a lovely touch as we'd been travelling all day and none of us had eaten. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, had good, comfy beds and a small sofa and chair. We also had a balcony with two outdoor chairs and a table. The bathroom was also nice and spacious and had a really good shower and bathtub. Facilities in the hotel were also really good. We stayed All Inclusive so we had access to three buffet meals a day, all really nice with different selections every day (breakfast had different pastries and cereals each day, plus the usual cooked breakfast options, dinner and tea had a full grill section different every day which was fantastic - great variety) There was also a snack bar out by the pool which did family friendly options like pizza and burgers. Also nice. The pool bar was good and the indoor bar was cosy. The all inclusive drinks selections weren't huge but it was enough to keep you going, including a "Cocktail Of The Day" The staff were all very friendly and attentive. I would definitely visit again The only real negative I can think of is the rooms didn't provide a kettle. Apart from this though, all was fantastic. Thank you

This hotel is just beautiful, the rooms are spotless and very clean. The entertainment team Lupe and AquaGym (standing joke between us) work their socks off to keep everyone happy and entertained, they don’t get enough credit. I definitely think they need a pay rise. Good selection of drinks on the all inclusive deal. The bar staff are so friendly, I would like to give a shout out to Miguel, Jesus and Julian first class service always with a smile. (Jesus I hope you get yourself a good handbag since you loved mine so much) The maids were so nice and they made our room up everyday. Now for the negative! The food wasn’t good at all, they seem to cater a lot for the Spanish holiday makers. I know everyone has different views on the food but for us as a big family group of 10 no one of us like the food. Would I go back ABSOLUTELY but I’d so self catering.

Do not stay here. We arrived here with family, 12 of us in total and paid for all inclusive. Food was sub standard and repetitive. The all Inclusive drinks package is awful. 1 option for a beer, and a few local spirits. They offer you an option to upgrade which was €280 extra, but there was absolutely no difference. No cocktails on the all inclusive, not many options for kids for drinks, snacks. The snack bar has the same few items everyday. There was two members of staff who were honestly brilliant. But the remainder spoke to you like your were in their way and just pure ignorant. I asked the bar staff on day 1 what difference is there if I upgraded to all inclusive + and was told to go and ask the front desk for a list, to which i was then told to check behind the bar there’s a list. Honestly no one wanted to help with anything. Entertainment for kids is horrendous, usually there is activities on for the kids around the pool however there wasn’t. The life guard wouldn’t allow any sort of inflatables in the pool for the kids. All in all, the worst experience I had in Benidorm in over 5 visits. Would never stay here again.

Hotel was clean food was okay nothing amazing but typical AI food. Reception and bar staff were lovely. Restaurant and entertainment staff bit rude. Entertainment was awful. I went with my teenage son and we were bored after the 2nd day there had 4 nights and could have easily go home on the 3rd day. Had to wake up at 6am to get a sunbed and other people will move the umberella after you have claimed it. Mostly Spanish there a few English holiday makers. Very far walk from beach says 20min but as it very hot seemed longer. But saying that it is in quieter area so felt safer there.

Clean rooms, most staff were great. Couple of male staff were rude but you cant have everything. There was always something you could find to eat in the dinner hall. All inclusive rules were a little stupid but wasnt intolerable. Drinks list wasnt bad. All in all, was a good holiday. Would definitely visit again.

Had such a wonderful time here. Nice, clean, well air conditioned rooms. 2 pools to choose from with plenty of space to lay in the sun or shade. Only a small walk to the beach. And a really friendly staff that is the main reason I'm writing this review. Plus there's almost always food being served. Go all inclusive and enjoy, I think it deserves the full 5 stars

First off we was greeted by the lovely reception staff, easy check in too. Following on was the room, huge beds, very comfy and pillows were like marshmallows. Towels were nice and soft and everywhere was nice and clean. The kitchen staff were great. I have a dairy allergy, it took one or two people to understand due to the language barrier but we did get there and they showed me everything I can and can’t eat which was absolutely brilliant! Pool was nice and big, plenty of sun beds, really can’t fault this hotel at all. Bar staff were lovely and cheerful and it really makes all the difference!

Twice I've been to this hotel and I can only say good things.. it is relatively cheaper than other hotels of a similar quality in the locality. It is a good location for both the new town and the beach. Old town is walkable within around 30-40mins. We loved the peaceful vibe of the hotel and area. Huge room, lovely big balcony and plentiful breakfast. I have stayed here all inclusive but simply due to the hotel being a little bit further out and knowing that Benidorm has plenty of selection for reasonable prices outside, I would opt for bed and breakfast. The pool was a good size and plenty of sunbeds. Staff were exceptional. Tip- local buses are a good way to see around too which stop outside the hotel regularly if you don't want to walk so far every day.

The pool and poolside bar were excellent to enjoy some relaxing hours of sunshine. I stayed at the hotel in May, it is classified as a 4* Superior. This is the 3rd hotel I have stayed at in the last 4 weeks with this 'Superior' designation and I am at loss to understand how this one has this designation. My stay was much closer to what I would expect from a 3* hotel. Plus Points: Spacious room with bathroom with bath and separate shower. Good breakfast with plenty of choice, although poor coffee from the coffee machines and a toasters that were not functioning properly. Minus points: I had a basic level room, it was in need of refurbishment, with low quality furniture in the bedroom and a bathroom that was in need of renovation, the shower door did not close, the shower functioned badly. The room had no tea/coffee making and no fridge, the shower door did not fit, the shower was worn and difficult to use. There was a safe but to use it you had to pay extra. How is this a 4* Superior hotel? The hotel has 18 floors and 4 lifts, there can be a wait for the lift at busy times, it is situated about 1.5km from the centre of Benidorm, there are several restaurants nearby.

We stayed here for 4 nights, the rooms were poorly cleaned as we had to be moved to another room, I've blonde hair, and there was black hair over the floor and in the shower and there was stuff skit up the skirting board and wall. Our window was broken and wouldn't lock. Our balcony door was broken on our 3rd night we where able to lock it up until then it looked like someone had booted it from outside as you can climb easily from one side to the other and when requested for someone to come fix it, no one was sent so my husband took pictures and went do to reception and he was told they would have no one until morning to looked at it which wasn't acceptable we hadn't had our dinner and didn't feel comfortable leaving our room with the door broken, so we were giving a new room. The hotel also doesn't cater for English people for the time of year. Food was all Spanish. Our walls were paper thin, people in the room beside may aswell of been in our bed when being intimate as their bed was bouncing off our wall making our bed move to their motion at 3am. We did enjoyed our holiday benidorm is a very nice place and we would go again, but I wouldn't say this hotel is 4*

Cleanliness of hotel is 10/10, we stayed mid Sept and the pool was quite quiet with plenty of beds around it free. The hotel is good distance walk from the new town and strip but taxis are really reasonably priced however your within walking distance to loads of shops, restaurants and bars. Would recommend this hotel however was not too fussed on the food during buffet.

Rooms basic… not even a tea or Coffee in the rooms… Food very dissapointing everyday same things No variety at all, No seasoned and same things every night like for kids at school…. My family are staying in hotel next door and they have a much better experience even thought its a 3* Cockroaches in the room when I arrived and in general not very clean… Wouldnt reccommwnd and wouldnt stay again for that Kind of money…

I stayed here with my daughter and her family for a week. It was great from start to finish. The rooms were superb the housekeeping excellent. Breakfast was fantastic. The staff were consistently helpful and eager to please. Sara the Reception manager was excellent. The hotel facilities are very modern and spotless from the gym to communal areas to the swimming pools which are brilliant - clean, lots of space,, great for children and families but also things like the infinity pool and the poolside bar cater for adults and pool side coffees drinks and snacks etc (great staff there as well). Fantastic hotel right near the beach and close walking proximity to a variety of restaurants, catering to all tastes. Supermarkets nearby as well. High quality rooms, well fitted and modern - kept impeccably clean. Mid point between the rock and old town, ideally situated. Front of house were excellent, friendly and courteous. Room was made every day to a great standard. Multiple lifeguards on duty at the various pools, and quick to intervene when rules broken. No issues obtaining a sunbed, either. Weekly 'pool party' great for adults and kids alike! Enjoyed a week here with the family, and would highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Calpe!

I am not one to leave reviews, but after an amazing holiday at this hotel, I had too. We have just returned and will be booking again for next year. Within ten minutes of arriving, my children said the hotel was 10/10, they have now given it 100/10 and said it was the best holiday they have ever had. They have literally thought of everything, with so many little touches - The milk and cookies in the room for the kids, the mini sized slippers, the fruit and sandwiches around the pool and so much more. Breakfast was amazing - I have never seen so much choice. The food in the lobby and pool bars was also great. I am very picky about where I stay, especially when it comes to cleanliness, but the hotel was spotless. Our rooms were cleaned daily, to a very high standard. Finally, all the staff we came across were so friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to return next year!

Second visit to this hotel and cannot fault it. Friendly staff, spacious clean rooms with large balconies. We had the room with kitchen and bedroom you can separate from main area. There was an extra charge if you wanted to use the kitchen if you went B&B or more we didn’t use it. Kitchen looked well equipped. Breakfast was busy but it was the start of the school holidays, if you want a quieter breakfast I would visit before 9am, breakfast was till 11am. There was a great choice of things for breakfast something for everyone. We didn’t sample lunch or dinner in there. Pool are was nice and clean, the only downside was that because it was on the first floor it got very windy around the pool area some days so were unable to put parasols up. If you wanted parasols for the beach the pool area hired these out free. Pool area wasn’t overly busy and you could always find a bed Suitopia is situated in a great place on the edge of town and next to the beach, there are lots of restaurants and shops within a minutes walk Suitopia roof bar has amazing views of the bay and great place to watch the fireworks, only downside is the seating is very uncomfortable so you wouldn’t want to spend too long there, great choice of cocktails and other drinks

I had a truly wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. Their warm hospitality made me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay. The highlight, however, was the room — it had an absolutely breathtaking sea view. Waking up to the sound of the waves and looking out over the ocean every morning was simply unforgettable. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Absolutely stunning hotel, beach front hotel adults only, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Room was cleaned every day with fresh bottled water added to fridge daily. The breakfast was very nice and plenty to choose from pastries to full cooked, the evening meal was buffet food different every day very nice food however the chicken was a little undercooked for me so I avoided the chicken but there was plenty to choose from from ribey steak to salad never had a complaint to say about this place and couldn’t imagine in staying in any other hotel except this absolute amazing experience. There was evening entertainment on every night and different entertainment too so never got boated. This has to be one of the cleanest hotels I have stopped in in Benidorm it is A +16 hotel which was perfect for us thank you to all the staff at melia for making a perfect holiday

Lovely hotel right on the beach front. It is situated right between the old town and the new town. The rooms are very clean and spacious with a spacious shower, too. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We went bed and breakfast but what food we had was nice. Would definitely stay again.

Location is 10/10. What a lovely hotel, so clean and modern and all the staff and just so nice, will defo be coming back. We was half board and just loved eating here, we put lots of weight on as so good !! We had a side view room which was really nice. Bathroom is really big and it had a really good hair dryer . They give you x2 small bottles of water everyday. (only downside, no kettle and the fridge didn't work)

Central location and honestly couldn’t recommend the Cimbel highly enough to anyone visiting Benidorm. It’s not a budget hotel so if that’s what you’re looking for move on and consider alternatives. Pool is perfect, deep and very clean. Plenty of sun loungers available around and also tables and seating allowing you to watch the views of Benidorm pass by this beautiful hotel. Staff always happy to help and have a great welcoming smile whenever you need to talk to them from arriving through to check out. First floor rooms on the front are all small pool rooms, these we would book if visiting in the future, they just give you a little more space. Our first room we had to change as previous guests had smoked in it, that’s the only negative aspect of our stay and after quickly talking to the team on reception we had an alternative room and it was absolutely perfect! Bathrooms plenty of space and shower is super powerful just how we like it! Dual sinks allowed for both of us to get ready together with no issues. Breakfast is amazing! Plenty of choice, amazing orange juice and lots of hot coffee…. The variety of fresh fruit and pastries on offer is great and constantly refreshed, make sure you try the pink coated jam cakes they are amazing!

This is amazing I’ve come from the UK with my Nana and it is amazing we are on the 12th floor with sea view and it is lovely we are right near all the shops. Food is amazing! There is a jacuzzi and about 1 pool and 3 “Pools” it is absolutely beautiful and I definitely recommend and it is quite flat and the fair all year round is right behind it.

Excellent hotel. We have just returned from two weeks there. We are Scottish and there were very few Brits staying in the hotel (which can be a good thing). The other residents were mainly elderly Spanish, so the hotel was very peaceful at night (we're 50 & 51 which was great for us that there were no Stag or Hen parties staying here). We were made to feel extremely welcome and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean (no tea or coffee but that didn't bother us) and the buffet breakfast was very good with enough British choices. The downstairs bar is absolutely beautiful but the drinks were slightly pricey with smaller measures compared to nearby bars, which meant the bar was often quite quiet. All of the evening entertainment was in Spanish which was fair enough but still enjoyable. The pool areas were excellent and fairly quiet. The hotel is in an excellent location which is close to the beach and local bars and restaurants and is a short walk into the Old Town but is far enough away from The Strip so there is no hassle and we felt very safe. Highly recommended and we would happily return. Many Thanks! 💕💕💕

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel, and I can honestly say it exceeded all of our expectations. The breakfasts and dinners were exceptional – an incredible variety of delicious food, with special attention given to food allergies and dietary needs. Every single member of the staff was kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made us feel so comfortable throughout our stay. The massage experience was also outstanding. Nika, the masseuse, was truly professional – she knew exactly how to work on the painful spots and was incredibly attentive and caring. The entire hotel was spotless, quiet, and filled with positive energy. Everywhere we went, we were greeted with smiles. The location could not be better: the moment we stepped outside, we were right on the stunning sandy beach. We also tried the rooftop pool, which was fantastic, and the breathtaking sea views from up there made it even more special. This is a really nice hotel situated right next to the Arenal-Bol beach in Calp. The main pool area offers direct access to the beach and towels and free sunbeds surrounding the pool. The views are stunning from the pool, the bar, the lobby, the rooftop pool and the restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, the breakfast is all you can ask for and then some. The bars are great, but the buffet dinner is a bit uninspired and can be avoided. There are plenty of other dining options nearby. The service is friendly and rapid, the rooms are modern and perfectly clean, and there are bars, a supermarket and many other stores in the area. The old town is just 400 meter away.

Fabulous hotel, brilliant location right on the beach and just outside of the old town, which means its pretty quite at night, but is a bit of a walk if you are heading to the other side of the old town and along the beach front with many great bars and restaurants or heading to the infamous main strip!! Taxis from the main strip at the taxi rank cost between €7.50 - €9 back to the hotel depending on amount of passengers. If lucky enough you have a beautiful sea view (lucky ones, like us get a free upgrade) rooms are beautifully clean and fresh, mini bar/fridge, safe (which you do have to pay for which is not a large amount) plenty of cupboard space. Not many plug sockets if you have a few phones and gadgets that need charging daily though. 2 pools, one for the younger children and a slightly larger pool on the 2nd floor. Pool is small and has about 16 sunbeds but is a nice spot and gets incredibly hot during the midday sun. We spent every day on the beach and headed to the pool at the end of the day for a few cheeky cocktails and cooling off in the pool. FYI, sunbeds on the beach are €6 each, umbrellas €6 each, the beach is pretty safe and we had no problems going off and leaving bags with our beds and into the sea!! ....Anyway back to the hotel... Pool bar for drinks and crisps no other snacks. Food in the restaurant is very good and decent quality, lunch and dinner changes daily with a good selection for everyone. Have allergy charts and staff are more than happy to arrange food for specific diets. Staff are amazing and so friendly and polite and will go beyond to help. Have to say a massive thanks to Ety who was brilliant and made our stay so pleasant. He was always happy to help and findout which food was ok for me (yes im one of those with a nut allergy) he was so friendly and polite. I would highly recommend this hotel for couples or families as its ideally located for many bars and restaurants and opposite the beach.

Food and drinks were lovely - themed days for food. Sangria and mojitos on tap which were lovely. Staff welcoming and Hotel kept clean. Room was adequate but bit too small for a family of 4. Pool was small and therefore we were unable to use it for any of the week we were there. Level 9 bar chill out bar was lovely but lacking in shade - the only seats in the shade were not comfortable for longer than 1 hour. 2 lifts to accommodate the whole 8 floors of rooms was not adequate and often waiting for lifts for 5 to 10 minutes. However wonderful sea views and access to the beach within 2 min walk.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at Villa del Mar Hotel. The cleanliness of the property and the friendliness of the staff really stood out, and for the price I paid, the value was excellent. While the pool area was a bit on the smaller side and there weren’t many sun loungers, the rooftop bar provided a great spot to unwind, and having the beach just steps away made up for it. The food wasn’t anything spectacular, but considering it was an all-inclusive buffet, it was perfectly adequate. Overall, I had a really enjoyable stay and would happily return if I visit Benidorm again.

The food and drinks were really good and we all loved it. My little boys loved the pool area and the playing ground and having the beach just steps away was amazing. We have just finished our holiday in Benidorm. Our hotel was excellent. All inclusive means all inclusive. Food was varied and a good selection was available at all meals. Drinks were easily available and consisted of local and branded drinks. All the big name brands were available. Pool is small but adequate. Pool bar was great. Staff ensured our stay was top class. If we are to return to Benidorm we would stay here again

Lovely hotel in a great location. I visited for 4 nights as a surprise for my sister’s birthday (who was already staying at the hotel with my mother for a week). The reception staff were great. They arranged for some cava and chocolates to be delivered to the room as a birthday treat for my sister. They were also able to accommodate my request for our rooms to be close together on the ground floor (I ended up being in the room next door). All staff we interacted with in the hotel were so friendly and were lovely to chat to. They are a credit to the hotel. My room was spotless and the air conditioning was superb which was appreciated in the 30+ degree heat! The hotel restaurant was fantastic. Plenty of choice on offer and the food was delicious that I ended up eating there every night of my stay. I am gutted that I missed out on the chocolate fountain that my sister and mum enjoyed the night before I arrived! The 6 euro bottle of house wine at the restaurant was fantastic value for money. The waiters in the restaurant were always so nice to chat to and were very attentive. The terrace bar was also good for some people watching while enjoying a cocktail or two. Table service from the hard working bar staff was also a nice touch. The pool area was smaller than other hotels I have stayed at but there was never any issue with getting a sun bed (even during August) and the pool was great to cool off in with the water being a pleasant temperature. Overall a really great adults only hotel. I hope to be able to visit again soon!

Just had a 10 night stay first time in Don Pancho and its easily the best hotel we've stayed in in Benidorm. Staff are all so friendly and helpful , rooms have comfortable beds a large TV with plenty channels and the bathroom is spacious with a very large walk in shower. Food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner so much to chose from and always hot. Entertainment at night was good and varied and bar prices reasonable. Can't comment on pool area as didn't use it we are beach people. If we return to Benidorm it will definitely be to the Hotel Don Pancho.

I was apprehensive to stay here after reading reviews stating it was for a certain age bracket - well that wasn’t true when I visited. There was a very varied age throughout the hotel and the atmosphere was lovely! Rooms were great, loved the view. The pool bar was a nice touch, very relaxing and great drinks. Stefan at the pool was also so attentive with all the sun loungers and parasols, a very nice guy. The food in the dining room had plenty of options and the staff there are so wonderful and friendly. Oh and the location is superb, right next to everything but feels like a little haven tucked away facing the sea. We will definitely return!

They have entertainers on daily do yourself a favour go out. No offence but it's got a club vibe we watched one show and it was awful. Go out there's lots of decent entertainers on the strip.

Very special shout out to Stefan the pool attendant who worked tirelessly to make sure that I was adequately shaded in the very hot Benidorm sunshine. What that man doesn’t know about shade is not worth writing about. First class hotel and well worth the visit. 5 stars.

But rooms quite cramped wall colour could be changed to a nicer pallet than Beige & carpet tiles is a big NO NO it should be stone tiles, people walking bare footed on the carpet give me the ick!! Too many rules around the pool area ridiculous! Breakfast absolutely superb 5 stars all round here & fab location. But wouldn’t go back as we did not like the rooms and pool rules, I got told off yesterday for having a can of Fanta under my sunbed. The pool police showed me up in front of everyone not nice I don’t go on holiday for that type of treatment

We went to Magic Tropical Splash for a week-long family holiday. There are plenty of food and drinks options for every taste and the rooms are being cleaned every day. A variety of slides and pool depths for all ages too, with animation team aiming to keep everyone around the pool happy and engaged. All members of staff are always friendly and helpful - from reception, through restaurants & bars, housekeeping, all the way to the people that greet you at the door. It was great to meet Christian from customer service - extremely helpful and attentive! Will gladly go back again for another family holiday.

Room was great drinks were top brands.rooms cleaned every day. Granddaughter broke her arm couple of days before we came so she missed out on a great children’s holiday. As a couple adults on a well catered children’s holiday we had a fab time.

Just returned from a 7 night stay. The drinks are good, food is a good variety. Only issue is the labels are not very clear every single dessert was labelled “Chefs special” anyone with dietary requirements would struggle. The hotel is a short walk from the beach, roughly 15 minutes. Pool and slides are really good for the kids. Evening entertainment very poor, there is young kids entertainment 7-10, then nothing for the older ones. Rooms are clean but dated. Please be wary of the ceiling fan in the bedrooms, these are very dangerous and need replacing with air con units. My husband hit his head whilst the fan was on, resulting in a trip to hospital and 10 staples to his head!

Great place for families. "Live music" entertainment of a night is hit and miss but the shows are good. Food is good, usual stuff for places like this and always something for everyone - could be hotter though. Bars are great, all named beers (Heineken and Guinness) and spirits (captain morgans, jim beam etc) and very generous with servings. Tip: take a large metal coffee/drinks tumbler with you for your drinks - saves you going up the bar more and keeps the drinks cool, they are happy to fill up whatever you give them! Pools are small but you have access to the big Waterpark which is amazing. You also get access to the zoo which is brilliant and the animals all look healthy. A way out from the town but theres a free bus if you want it. About €15 in a cab otherwise. The resort is hilly though, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. On site shop is reasonable as long as you aren't getting imported stuff like sweets etc. But just ask prices before you buy. Rooms are decent and all have amazing air con. There's a FB group for the place you can join to ask questions of other visitors and get more detailed reviews too. Don't expect a 5 star resort but it's super clean and perfect for families.

Loved every minute of being here thanks to all the wonderful staff making us feel like family 😍 Charlie and the entertainment go above and beyond to keep everyone happy during the night time entertainment! Every night was something different and just as amazing!! The queues for dinner only get long because most lazy families leave a horrific mess causing way more work for the restaurant staff! You wouldn’t leave that mess at home so why do it on holiday and wonder why you don’t get seated quick enough?! It’s not fair on the staff and is not their fault! Love this place! Love the staff!! Highly recommend!! ❤️

We stayed at Magic Natura Park in Benidorm with an Ultra All-Inclusive package. Honestly, the resort was a big disappointment. We still had a nice holiday because we made the best of it ourselves, but that was thanks to the zoo and the water park—not the resort. The only positives: The zoo is fantastic! Walking through it on the way to the water park was a highlight, and we loved seeing the animals active at different times. The water park was great for the kids, with lots of slides and mostly short queues. Everything else was a letdown: The resort needs a complete renovation. The dining areas are outdated, the food is repetitive every day, and compared to other resorts, this was far below standard. There’s not enough staff. Tables take forever to be cleared, and the restaurants and bar areas often looked like a complete mess. Pools at the resort are small and overcrowded. And the worst part: on two evenings, the smell of garbage was unbearable—apparently from a nearby waste processing facility. Completely unacceptable for a holiday resort. The two stars are only for the zoo and the water park. Everything else was a disappointment.

We stayed here with our small family on 2017 and again in 2025 (last week). Both times we were blown away. Customer service is great, the rooms are very clean, there's so much to do for the kids & food is very good. All the staff are helpful and seem to enjoy what they're doing. The waterpark is great, the zoo is brilliant, we were even blown away by the medieval show we attended which was also included. Both visits for us have been top notch and we will definitely return next week. Highly recommended if you have kids younger than 12yrs.

The entertainment has been exceptional and the staff work so hard to keep everyone happy and having fun. Different shows every night and such wonderful performers. This is the fifth time we've stayed at Port Benidorm. Beautiful, modern hotel. Comfortable, well maintained rooms cleaned and towels changed daily. Great food. Great location. Great value. Cheerful, helpful, efficient staff. Clever lift allocation system, so even at the busy times you aren't waiting ages for one. We'll certainly be back next year.

The hotel was spotlessly clean the staff were all friendly and helpful except one miserable git in the restaurant .the food was all very nice with a lot of choice. The hotel could not be in a better position for the beach and promenade. The only problem was the lifts which were easy to use but you spend an awful lot of time waiting for them and I think I know why, a few times while waiting there would be one or two parents with kids and letting them go berserk pressing buttons willy-nilly and not stopping them and when you get in the lift it stops on loads of floors with nobody there which drove me crackers, but I don't know how you could stop it. That was the only problem the whole stay was excellent. Thank you very much

First time in Benidorm, was slightly apprehensive about what it would be like… the hotel was beautiful, clean and modern. The staff were friendly and very helpful.. the rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfy. The breakfast choice was huge and everything was fresh and well presented. The hotel bar was comfortable and the drinks were great value however, the roof top bar is a must.. nicest cocktails I have had in a long while. To be aware - the lifts can be slightly confusing and there is building work on the new wing of the hotel, which never bothered us (but worth being aware). Overall I would give a 5/5 and would most certainly stop again.

We stayed for 2 weeks, our room it was at 11th floor. The room was clean and comfortable. On each morning the cleaning staff did a great job. The food was very good. We had only the breakfast included but we payed for our diner several times. The pool area has a nice pool and a nice bar where you can order drinks. Indeed, a new wing of the hotel is still under construction, but the noise is not so bad. They are trying their best to respect the guests during this development.

We had a lovely stay in a level, marina view room in the Melia. The room was very comfortable and the staff were exceptional. In particular thanks to Gloria and Rokio in the lounge who took such great care of us and in helping to cater for my food intolerances. It is worth paying for the level service which includes free drinks, tapas, snacks and is a lovely place to retreat to for a rest. The hotel restaurant is very good and staff, particularly Juanjo, are friendly. The restaurant is waiter service and there was a good choice of food included in half board. We have stayed at this hotel before and will have no hesitation in returning.

The staff at the level were so friendly, the level itself is child free area, free breakfast wine beer Coca Cola etc. the breakfast is really good, so many options with smiley staff making fresh omlettes. It wasn’t just continental breakfast but had bacon, sausage etc. the little things go along way, for example the cups are refrigerated to make sure your drink is ice cold. The sun does go behind the hotel but you just sunbathe near the pool. The chairs could be a bit more spaced out as it does feel a bit close together. We were situated quite far from the level but we didn’t think it was that bigger deal. Hotel staff are so pleasant, rooms are super clean, bed comfy (although pillows are fairly soft). Overall worth every penny.

My dad had a very serious fall during our stay, and the hotel staff offered no assistance, seemingly avoiding responsibility. We had to call emergency services ourselves. Instead of enjoying our time at the hotel, we spent it at the hospital. Initially, the hotel mentioned they would address our poor experience, but when we tried to extend our stay because my dad was still in the hospital, they offered a room at a higher rate than our original booking. The guest experience manager admitted to being aware of my dad’s fall from the start, despite another staff member claiming no one knew. They also refused to investigate the cause of the fall. On the day we were supposed to check out, they sent someone at 9:30 AM to ensure we left on time. The entire experience was terrible—there was no compassion, and the hotel is overpriced. I do not recommend staying here

Great stay overall, with a few downsides! 🏨 The hotel is in a fantastic location – super easy to get around, close to everything you might need, and a great base for exploring the area. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, which made the stay really comfortable. One of the biggest surprises was the food – especially dinner! The variety and quality were much better than expected. Every night there was something different and tasty on the menu. Breakfast was also solid, but dinner really stood out. Now, for the downsides: the walls are quite thin, so you can hear noise from neighboring rooms, and the room doors close really loudly, which can be annoying, especially in the mornings or late at night. That was the only thing that disrupted the otherwise peaceful vibe. If you’re a light sleeper, maybe bring earplugs — but besides that, I’d definitely recommend this place. Good value, great location, clean rooms, and surprisingly good food! 👌

The best location near boardwalk with a lot of restaurants around. Breakfast and dinner are very good, there are a lot of food options and it’s very tasty. The downside is that you hear slamming of the doors all the time. Walls are so thin that you can even hear people next door “having some good time”.

Thus hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Alicante. It has clean room rooms and an inviting reception area and a good restaurant on the upper floors. The staff are warm and friendly and the breakfast is excellent. It is a great base from which to explore Alicante and the wider Costa Blanca. Lots to do and see and some really fabulous restaurants nearby. I would recommend this hotel to anybody wanting a city break to Alicante.

I have mixed reactions to this hotel. Great location, ok sized room, which was clean with everything you need, great buffet style breakfast with so much choice but a terrible night's sleep due to the walls being so thin. Banging doors and loud voices could be heard all night from above and next door. It's not great if you have a young family or a light sleeper. We will definitely be returning to Alicante, but unfortunately, not this hotel.

Location great, close to everything. Thin paper walls. If you are in the last floor you will hear the kitchen noise and anyone who is in the corridor. If you go during “Semana Santa”, you won’t be able to sleep due to the drums and music outside until very late. Everything can be heard from outside, even if you are in the top floors. There’s only two little elevators for 26 floors, with capacity for four people. Creating long waiting times, and squishing yourself with other people. Super expensive for what it is. If you pay for having dinner included, you will have very little options to choose from (3), not even one drink included, you have to pay extra for that. At least the waiters and waitresses are nice. It smells really bad in the corridors and elevators. Like something is rotten. After leaving the hotel we get an unknown charge on our card of over 100€ (when we haven’t used anything from the mini bar, nor broken anything, the drinks at the restaurant were paid with cash). The walls have creases everywhere, in the very VERY thin balcony there’s humidities in the roof. The only good thing is the views.

I had a really nice and pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very nice, we had a sea view suite, the balcony was really big, I think because the room is at a corner so the balcony was L-shaped so it was very long and big balcony, the hotel is right at the sea front, so when I sat at the balcony and looked right at the sea , I felt like I was on a ship, the room was spacious, the bed was big and comfortable, it is just flawless. The jacuzzi and sauna was also very nice, though there were 2 occasions when I went to the sauna, it wasn’t turned on and it was such a big disappointment. The hotel provides towels at the swimming pool but there is no clear sign and indication of where to get a towel, so might need to go inside the restaurant bar to ask. Hotel staffs are nice and friendly, breakfast and dinner were delicious though buffet breakfast selection was a bit limited, the location of the hotel is very central, and very close to the Sandy beach, it is a very nice hotel I would definitely recommend it.

Lovely hotel right by the port. Our room was the junior suite and it had a magnificent view of the sea and the beach. I would recommend a room facing the water as the port side can get very crowded and loud at night. Excellent breakfast buffet. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Two little pools. I would definitely return here.

We had a lovely time here. We went with the premium sea view room and it didn't disappoint. Biggest minus was that the tvs seemed a bit old and there was no fridge except the mini fridge so storing your own items was not possible. Otherwise, great help from the receptionists as well as the staff at the breakfast center and pool area.

Really enjoyed our stay, rooms were great, very big bed (memory foam) fantastic views of the marina, if you want the sun on your belcony in the evening then best to have a room on the marina side, the trade off is you will get a bit of noise from the bars across the road.

The good points are it has an excellent location, a very clean hotel and would recommend booking the Spa. The bad bits, I treated us to a junior suite but unfortunately this room was not suitable for a father and teenage son. This particular room has a bathroom which is completely open plan with clear glass around the shower and no toilet door, this resulted in us using the toilets in the bar area and also having to leave the room when my son wanted a shower. Another issue for us was it clearly lists on booking.com the room comes with a sofa bed, this was not the case and on arrival there was just one double bed, after complaining at reception (who argued with me) they finally placed two single beds in the room and promised to move us the following day, unfortunately we didn't hear anymore regarding the move and I didn't pursue further as the receptionists were argumentative. The reception staff argued that I should have informed them that I required two single beds, however I was expecting the sofa bed so two singles wasn't required. The room is probably more suitable for couples, but even then I can't understand the toilet not having a door.
