Don't listen to the other reviews on here. These people were either entitled or unfortunate. The staff are friendly the mattresses are comfortable and the location is great. Nothing to complain about

The hotel is rundown and old, the rooms are less than mediocre, we thought booking a deluxe room would make a difference but it didn't,old metal beds with a mattress that should have been thrown away about 10 years before. About the cleanliness there were a lot to be desired. Just changing towels and bedsheets, the bathroom upon arriving was not properly cleaned,no shower curtain no anti slip mat,no shower products no hairdryer as advertised... In the long week stay nobody cleaned the bathroom and nobody moped... This hotel is not up to the international standards of a three star hotel dirty ,old and unkept... The staff was polite but not really helpful as they don't provide info about the island and anything that you can do around... Also the location is quite remote ...All in all never again in this hotel.

On behalf of The Gang Malta Social Group, I would like to recommend a day by the pool at Sana Lounge…relaxing, nice atmosphere and the food was great. Absolutely worth it! Our members enjoyed themselves so much. Thank you.

Horrible horrible HORRIBLE. Do NOT book here, it would be cleaner to go homeless on the street opposite. I booked into a room for 5 nights and we couldnt last even 1 night. Room was filthy, bed sheets were damp and thrown about on bed. The complimentary soaps and hair care products in the bathroom were used and thrown over the sink. The beds were falling apart, there were ominous stains on the furniture. And to top it off the air conditioning wire was snapped in two, hanging from the ceiling. Not to mention the door handle fell off when we could EVENTUALLY open the door. The elevators had a heavy musty stench in them, my mother who has COPD couldn’t breathe while in the elevator. The man who seemed to be security tried his best by giving us clean sheets when we said ours were wet and helped us open the door, twice. The woman on reception did not help us at all though, and when we requested a refund she said that she would verify it through Booking.com, who we booked with, and since returning neither Booking.com nor myself can get in contact with the hotel. I had asked for a written request to ensure a refund but she claimed i wouldn’t need one. Absolutely horrible place, waste of 300€ and an insult to the country. God help you if you’ve booked a room here, i would genuinely rather sleep rough on the streets than get paid to sleep in that room again.

The location is decent! 5 mins walk from the bus stop at the main road. 10 mins away by walk to the beach side.
I could store my luggage in a storage room before the check-in hour, which was nice!
They have a nice pool which is, in my opinion, the strongest asset! They also have a restaurant and a bar, that it's not only for the hotel, where the prices were okay and the girls working at the bar were lovely!
The room had a functioning air conditioning! Big plus for that!
The reception was okay in terms of communication! They understood and accepted our request to do a late check-out.
Now things that were not so okay..
Despite they offer an everyday room cleanliness, when they offer also clean towels and arrange also the bed sheets, I have to say that the whole place itself is quite dirty and dusty. Only the reception and the bar were looking okay, but once you were going inside of the private area of the hotel, it was getting bad. Dead cockroaches outside and inside of the building. The sunchairs were stained with a disinfectant solution, thing that they do daily but they don't clean the solution itself after, which makes the sunbeds look dirty.
The room was for 3 people and it was lacking a trash bin, hanger for clothing, hangers in the wardrobe. There was also a hole in the balcony door, for air conditioning I suppose.
The bathroom was looking super old, used and dirty. The shower head was stuck in its own place and couldn't be used properly. No window or ventilation inside of it, which makes the humidity and warmth of the showers staying there or, even worse, coming in the room.
The door was always hard to open, needing to push it hard while unlocking it.
Not all of the light bulbs were working.
