Reception was very busy everyday the reception staff handled it well and were friendly and helpful but needed more staff to deal with the queue.
Lovely hotel & rooms were big, clean and comfortable.
The mealtimes were a bit chaotic, no structure and a bit of a free for all.
The food was very good and staff extremely nice, polite & helpful.
Pool area was great too
Our cleaner Lila on our floor was very friendly and efficient and greeted us every day with a smile thank you :)
Overall a great hotel and very clean and good food would recommend.

The San Antonio Hotel has everything you could wish for on holiday. We had B/B and Evening meal. The food was delicious and more than you could choose from. The Staff were marvellous, both the bedroom cleaners and the Staff in the dining area and the Staff in reception could not do enough to make your stay perfect in every way. The pool was lovely and you did not have to fight for a lounger as there was plenty. Evening entertainment was provided free and was most enjoyable
And relaxing after a full day.
We loved it all and would go again in the future.

Staff are well friendly and helpful. Food is great (the only thing I would change if I could would be the amount of food that has onions on (I can't have onions))
The spa treatments are absolutely brilliant.
Indoor pool is lovely and warm.
View from our room was incredible.

The bad/annoying bits:
You are supposed to be able to either use the app or machines in the lobby to book at least 5 speciality restaurants. Only 2 restaurants showed on the app/machine. We booked those two, but then on Tuesday night, it showed a 3rd, but you couldn't book it on the machine or the app. I went to the very disinterested gentleman on the reception to ask why this was, and he just said it was fully booked and didn't know why I couldn't book it. It is extremely disappointing as this hotel advertises all these facilities but most are unavailable.
Please note that a lot of the facilities aren't open in May.
The adults' only rooftop bar and pool aren't open even though the hotel is packed.
The smoking area has a bar, but it's not open in May, so you have to trek to the cafe or down one floor to the pool bar.
The air conditioning, in the room, in May is not turned on either so your room is always warm and the bottom sheets on the bed only go 3/4 of the way down, for some obscure reason.
If you're hoping for adult only areas, then come between mid Jun-Sep
The good bits:
Good location, near bars and clubs, and the hop on hop off bus tours.
Sea views are amazing
Food is lukewarm, a variety of choices with vegetarian options, but check the times as dinner isn't until 6.30pm.
There are plenty of deckchairs around the pool.
We had the all-inclusive plus, which gave us access to a lounge with a bar which overlooked the pool.
Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to friends or family 😕 it's advertising doesn't live up to the promise.

We went as a family of five all inclusive and everything was great. The staff were all brilliant, whether cleaners, waiters, front desk, kitchen etc.
The buffet had a large selection and it was good. The all inclusive drinks were fine and they were happy to make up other cocktails not on the menu.
You could go for coffee or cocktails and cake any time at Cafe Maroc in the lobby, which soon became a naughty habit!
After all that… the gym was pretty comprehensive with loads of machines and free weights and there was a spa with sauna and small indoor pool etc.
I would go again. The price seemed reasonable for the quality of the hotel and compared to what you’d pay for meals and drinks in Malta, especially with three teenagers and a growing cake habit, you can’t beat it.
