don’t listen to the awful reviews!!! stayed here for a 7 night girls holiday and it was honestly the best week of my life. the hotel was so close to the strip meaning it was so nice and easy to go out every night, literally every single staff member was so sweet and funny despite what people have said about them, especially the main lady at reception, and the tattooed guy and lady working at the pool bar, which had unreal food and really quick service. (the lady made and boxed up my breakfast for me so quick on the last day so i would make the shuttle to the airport). as we were looking for a party holiday, the social side of the hotel was perfect as it was so easy to make friends throughout the day, and we could come back from a night out and it was fine to stay up as everyone else would still be around and the staff were so relaxed. people rating the hotel down for young people drinking, being loud throughout the night and there being “no rules” is unfair, it’s advertised as a party hotel for young people, and it was perfect for that purpose, so just don’t choose to stay somewhere like this if you’re going to complain about those things. the bedroom and bathroom bit were completely clean when we arrived, really spacious, and the cleaner did come and replace our towels through the week. the only complaints i have is that the wifi only worked on our balcony and not in the room, but even then we were outside for most of the day and every night anyway so it wasn’t a huge problem. we also realised at the end of the week that the unlimited drinks deal probably wasn’t worth the money for us, so be careful when the reps try to sell it to you as it’s very hard to say no. overall though our stay was perfect and i would definitely come again, i miss it already!!

stayed in room 257 on the 12th-19th of august and had the best week of my life. would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone planning a girls/lads holiday as the location is perfect and the staff aren’t strict at all. very confused as to why there are so many negative reviews as i pretty much only have positive things to say. the rooms are adequate (not fancy by any means but fine for a party holiday although we did struggle to connect to the wifi), the food is lovely, and the staff were very welcoming to us.
be careful with the furniture on the balconies though as i broke a table and chair and had to pay a €100 fine.
some of our friends had a few ants in their rooms but not many, we didn’t have any at all though so i wouldn’t worry about that.
just a quick warning about the hotel reps - they will try and sell you a wristband when you arrive (we paid €150 for 3 hours of free drinks everyday for a week) and i don’t think it was worth it. that might be because i’m a massive lightweight but i can’t have spent more than €80 on drinks at the hotel.
overall though, great hotel, lovely staff, amazing location. please take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt because i’m fairly sure the majority of them were written by snobby old people/couples. if you are looking for a place to stay for a girls/lads holiday then savvas is perfect.
i took a video of our room when we arrived but it won’t let me attach it so dm me on instagram @libbygallagher_ if you’d like to see it. i’m genuinely so frustrated that this hotel has such poor reviews, it’s completely unfair in my opinion.

Perfect place for low class tourist.
The 2,7 stars is a lie, it should be 1.
The staff and a recepcion act like i have to be happy, that they work.
Dirty room, air conditioner stoped working for the last 3days(which you pay extra)
Worst hotel in the entire area.
One stat everything.

I spent two nights at this hotel, and honestly, I wouldn’t book it again.
On the positive side, I appreciated that they allowed me to check in earlier than usual (around 10 a.m.). However, instead of receiving a double or single room (since I was traveling alone), I was given a room with three single beds. While this allowed me to choose which bed to sleep in, the decision was made quickly after seeing that two of the beds had dirty sheets.
At check-in, I was charged an additional 20 euros per day for air conditioning, which upset me because I believe the AC should have been included in the room rate.
When I arrived, everything in the room was wet, including the floor, sink, toilet, and shower. It seemed like the cleaning staff had rinsed everything off with the showerhead and failed to dry it afterward. At least the room was somewhat clean, except for the bedsheets and the mirror, which looked greasy. However, toilet paper was missing but luckily, I saw someone from the cleaning staff who then gave me a roll of toilet paper.
At check-in, the receptionist promised me a room with a sea view. I was a bit skeptical, given that the building isn’t very tall and my room was on the first floor. As it turns out, when they say "sea view," they actually mean a view of the pool.
I have to admit, the breakfast was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend eating there. Nothing was fresh, and the portion served was too small to be satisfying. By the way, the hotel only offers English breakfast, which isn’t a problem in itself, but the way it was prepared was not appetizing.
Additionally, breakfast service starts at 9:30 a.m., which was too late for me as I’m usually up by 6 a.m. and accustomed to having breakfast in hotels from around 6:30 a.m. I asked the manager on the second day if there was any possibility of having breakfast earlier. Fortunately, she offered to have breakfast ready at 8:15 a.m. on my last day, which I agreed to. However, when I arrived on time that morning, I was told the chef had not yet arrived. This was frustrating, as we had an agreement. I went to the reception, and the staff there seemed unaware of the arrangement. After I explained everything, she called someone, presumably the chef, who then arrived shortly afterward to prepare my meal with a delay. In the end, it was fine, but the situation was far from ideal.
If you stay at this hotel, I strongly advise against booking a transfer to the airport through the reception. I inquired about the cost, and the receptionist told me it would be 35 euros, which is quite expensive for an 8-minute drive. If you have time, take the bus for 2 euros. However, if you’re in a hurry and need to get to the airport quickly, book your own taxi in advance. You can arrange it online or by calling the taxi company directly. I ended up paying only 25 euros by booking it myself, which makes me suspect the hotel takes a commission if you book the transfer through them.
All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, but if you’re looking for cheap accommodation in Laganas and don’t have high expectations, this might be the right place for you.
