Spent a week at this hotel, the rooms are cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bedding provided, the room was modern, and the bathroom was a good size with a walk-in power shower.
The staff were brilliant, very helpful and friendly, and couldn't do enough for us, especially young David, who is not only the bell boy but does multitasking around the hotel.
The restaurant, what can I say.. was amazing. The food was lovely, with plenty of choices, from main dishes to salads, relishes to desert, the food all tasted lovely with plenty of choice. Their was something for everyone, even fussy eaters.Compliments to those chef's.
I would definitely recommend Shark Hotel to anyone. You will not be disappointed, and we plan to return their next year.

Not a 4* hotel… pictures online are quite deceiving. Rooms are adequate, pool is extremely crammed, food quality is not at all 4*, some of the staff are very friendly but others are extremely non proactive. The shuttle service to the beach private beach which is 5 mins drive is highly recommended as an escape to a quieter and more tranquil area since the pool is very small to be able ti relax. Overall, I would not go back.

Nice clean spacious rooms, staff where very friendly and helpful. The food is good but sitting is limited inside. Pool is excellently kept.
Peter's place is a must also why your there food is amazing.
My only problem is the beach shuttle once your dropped off you are expected to use the free beach and are not aloud to look about or take your water or food on there, there staff at the ambrosia hotel are extremely rude and threatening I'd avoid this beach.
Luckily that day we walked 2 bars down and meet a lovely guy who invited us in and the prices there are much better free beach there also.

Can't fault the location or the rooms. Cleaned every day and right in the thick of things.
Food was fine for the most part just abit repeatative. We always found something to eat. Drinks were fine but served in the smallest glasses. Would stay here again.

Overall, we will have rather good final memories of this trip. This was the 2nd time we have been in Turkey, previously we were also in a 4 star hotel in Alanya and this hotel is definitely better than that one. As for the region, the Turkish Riviera is definitely more developed in terms of trade, beaches, leisure. Here too, of course, this is at a high level, but not as much as there.
Beach:
No beach nearby, the Shark Hotel has made a deal with the Ambrosia Hotel in Bitez, which makes its beach available for guests of the Shark Hotel. The hotel shuttle to the beach leaves at 8 a.m., I think, and returns at 5 p.m. As it is quite a ways away, I think that the shuttle from the beach to the hotel should be increased by at least 1, say at 2 or 3 p.m., because sitting from the morning on the beach until 2 or 3 p.m. is still a very long time, and as you know coming here you also want to use other attractions. We travelled back to the hotel by local dolmus (bus), the stop was 1,5 km from the beach (steep uphill climb 😉 . You can also walk to the closer beach by yourself (about 1 km), but the beach is very rocky and neglected and it doesn't look like a lot of people stay there.
Food at the hotel:
Rather positively. On the minus side breakfasts, poor, day after day the same 1:1, but on the other hand it is hard to come up with something different for breakfast. Lunches and dinners okay. Mostly fresh, plenty of choice, when food starts to run out the staff bring it to you, rather nothing to complain about. Large selection of salads and vegetables. Between the end of lunch and the start of dinner, simple burgers and waffles are served at the bar. It is not much, but it is a big plus, especially when you come back from the beach and have not had dinner. In addition, sometimes different meats (e.g. kebab, fish) are served at the DJ station during dinner.
Service:
Well this is where my biggest dilemma comes in. In the most general terms, the staff are nice, but not all of them... I want to point out that I am not demanding in this respect because I am very understanding of the staff who have to work in such heat for so many hours. To put it simply they are nice because they have to. The service on the bar was rather unempathetic until we tipped the box, then we were almost VIP customers. Overall I wouldn't get attached to them, they are just people not servants. The biggest problem for me was the entertainer and DJ who plays after dinner. He was rude to me from the 1st evening when I launched into their competition. Throughout my stay you could sense resentment from him towards me even though I did nothing. When he passed he accosted many people, just not my family. And this is not a problem for me at all and you could say that I am exaggerating if it were not for one incident where he tried to humiliate me. When I got strongly indignant about what he was doing in front of his boss he got a good thrashing and started apologising to me that he didn't mean it and by the end of the trip he was already nice to me. These may be isolated situations, but it's likely that since he did it, it wasn't the first time he did it on guests. The animators persuade you to go out to the club after the open bar closes, but if your life and wallet are kind to you then you better not go there 😂 Unless you are looking for adventure.
Rooms:
Clean, linen and towel changed, without much elaboration is fine.
