Basic rooms but very clean gorgeous pool on the edge of nice peaceful resort close to plenty of bars and tavernas

We have been travelling a lot and for many years. Reviews were quite ok and we decided to stay here. So, what did we get?
👎 This was the worst accomandation what we ever rented, because of the mould on a bathroom, under sink and even glasses were with mould. People said basic, and I am OK with basic but not with a mould! Disgusting! Toilet paper and waste bags have been provided for the first three days. After 10 days, I still didn't get a clue when towels and bed linen should be changed.. It was like a lottery! WiFi - very poor and only around the pool or bar area. There's no chance to get it in the room. Air conditioning - they charged us 7eur per night per room (we stayed in 2 rooms), and you need it because you can't leave open doors because of mosquitos, and also outside🌡at that time reached +38c.
No facilities to wash your clothes, for that there is provided a bowl.
👍 Pool and bar area. Just perfect clean! Can't complain about that at all 5🌟 ! Pool closes at 7.30pm for cleaning. If the owner would take the same care about rooms, the Blue Diamonds would be a really great place to stay. Prices in a bar are similar to elsewhere. Ok.
Location 👍few minutes to local shops, mini markets, and a lot of restaurants and the beach. The rocky beach (if you like snorkelling) is ~150m from the hotel.
We will never return here and would not recommend this place to anyone!
P.s. We stayed in the rooms No8 and No10. Need to admit that room No10 got less mould in a bathroom.

First time here, absolutely beautiful location, rooms are as expected basic but has everything you need for self catering,couple of issues that when we spoke to Clare she sorted it out immediately , family run and what a lovely family, poolside not crowded and pool immaculate, food lovely, plenty of other establishments around , has everything you need for a hassle free, relaxing holiday, totally recomm end coming here, we have already booked for next year xxx

Great location, a 5 minute walk from the centre of the resort and about 10 minutes to the beach. There is a nice pool with a bar at the front of the apartments. There is a rough patch of ground on the opposite side of the road where you can park for free. There is no beach on this part of the coast, just sheer rock into the water. Still a pretty good view. The rooms are basic but clean - although there was black mould around the shower and a slightly unpleasant smell in the cupboards in the kitchen. It's basic but very pleasant and relaxed. Good value for money.

Basic accommodation as you'd expect and the mugs/glasses provided were a bit random and mismatched. Bathroom small but everything in working order. A lovely pool and plenty of sunbeds and brolly's. Cleanliness was second to none....beds made and bins emptied every day (except Sunday) towels/linen changed every 3-4 days. Hats off to the lovely lady who does all the cleaning! Didn't spend a lot of time at the bar area as we personally prefer the beach. Within short walking distance of restaurants, beach and shops. A great base and we will definitely stay again.
