Back from a two week stay at Apsara and missing it already! We booked one of its villas for two weeks for our belated honeymoon and it was perfection from start to finish. From the friendly staff, to the clean rooms and beautiful surroundings, we truly had a magical time. Thank you Apsara for making it so special.
We would 100% recommend staying on the villa side if you're looking for something slightly quieter. It was tranquil and so relaxed. A special highlight for me was hearing all the birds and elephants in the sanctuary next door every morning.

Thank you, Apsara and thank you, Thailand for a beautiful vacation. The resort was great, we stayed in a pool villa that was magical, clean, big, with an outdoor shower and birds singing in the garden. The restaurants, the pools, the sea, all were nice, the food was delicious, but, most of all, the people, the staff, from reception to restaurants and bars, they were all kind, friendly and helpful. We would come back any time.

Probably no one from the hotel will read this review, but perhaps it will be of interest to future guests:
The hotel is basically quite nice, spacious and modernly furnished. The cleanliness is okay for Asian standards, but not comparable to German hotels. Unfortunately, the breakfast has no variety, but is identical every day. We ate out for lunch and dinner.
What was most annoying were once again the tourists, especially (how could it be otherwise?) the Germans and the British/English. Sun loungers at the villa pool are reserved early in the morning around 7 a.m. There is people blocking up to 8-10 sun loungers at once. Most of the time these are not used.
We even saw many blocked sun loungers, time and time again, that were blocked all day and not used once. Even on the other side of the world you can't get rid of this annoying pest. Unfortunately, the Thais are too friendly to make guests aware of their antisocial and selfish behavior. This is the worst type of human garbage.

We’re just back having had a wonderful stay at Apsara. We’d particularly like to thank the incredible staff under Emee, the senior manager, who could not to have done more to make our stay what it was, especially when we were laid low with a nasty respiratory virus.
The location is amazing, the accommodation outstanding and the food delicious. 5 stars all the way!
