Lassi

There is a good selection of shops and cafes to equip families with all of their basic needs and being so close to Argostoli, it is possible to walk or take a taxi and experience the capital's atmosphere for a change too. Primarily this is a beach resort designed to provide relaxation and fun for all the family with a good many water sports breaking up the day. Due to its proximity to the rest of the island and the peaceful nature, Lassi's sandy beaches do get fairly busy during peak season.

For a more traditional feel to your Greek holiday then combine the sights and museums of Argostoli with a Lassi beach break.  Most excursions and tours stop in Lassi making it a superb choice for a more thorough and leisurely tour of Kefalonia.
