We really enjoyed our stay in Filion Hotel. The room was spacious, fresh towels and cleaned everyday. The staff were very helpful with a quick and efficient service. Nothing was too much for them. We like a quiet holiday so the location was really good for us. The pools and areas were very clean. We were also well and truly entertained every evening whilst enjoying some cocktails.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The pool area is well maintained. The location is not ideal if you prefer local shopping. My only criticism is lack of spoons in the dining room. Food is plentiful and available in the pool bar throughout the day. The room was very spacious and clean

We enjoyed a lot our stay in Filion- Sugar villa. Service was perfect. Employees were very friendly and helpful, they accommodated with everything we needed. We had very beautiful view with mountains and sea. In the villa was really clean and we found everything what we needed, like kitchen utensils. There was also nice terrace with the private pool and the grill. The restaurant had amazing medetarian food, where you can choose everything from self service buffet. Really recommend the place!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We found all of the staff to be very kind and helpful, fixing any issues we had quickly. Reception, restaurant, bar staff and cleaners were all very friendly. Room was always left clean with fantastic views from the balcony. Only issue was WiFi connection was quite temperamental in our room. There are three pools to choose from with plenty loungers, with the one we picked very quiet but great to lounge or swim at. Food was perhaps a small selection but still enough. Grilled food was always excellent and always fresh salad available. Downside would be the location. While it is quiet due to being in the hills, this means the local town isn’t walkable but they do offer a free shuttle bus there and back. Overall, an excellent stay.

We had an exceptional stay at this lovely hotel! The dining options were impressively diverse, featuring a wide variety of meats, fish, side dishes, vegetables, fruits, desserts, and delicious ice cream. The restaurant, with its cozy atmosphere and stunning sea view, was a highlight of our experience. Access to the beach is very convenient, The beach area was pleasant, with sun-beds available. The hotel maintained two beautiful pools, both featuring a lively atmosphere with music and breathtaking views. There’s also a designated shallow area for children, along with a gaming room to keep them entertained. The staff was friendly and engaging, providing excellent service - multilingual, speaking German, French, and English. They were incredibly welcoming, always smiling, and eager to assist in any way. Overall, we had an amazing time and highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a fantastic all-inclusive experience!

I spend 9 days with my family on all inclusive. The hotel was very nice and spacious. The food was good and the service was also very nice. The choice of food and drinks was impeccable. A big plus is the sunbeds on the beach and a small bar, a very nice way to spend time. The downside is that most of the activities were conducted in French and not always translated. The hotel is generally worth recommending .End of season lots off sale and much more quiet. Weather 23 degrees and not much sun in that part of Create.

I was with my partner on a week's holiday, I definitely do not recommend this hotel if someone suffers from asthma. The entire hotel smells incredibly of chlorine, which made it hard to get out of bed in the morning plus a sore throat. I will also add that people using wheelchairs or the physically disabled will have problems getting to the hotel or moving around on its premises. Apart from that, the hotel is really nice, nice views and we got a nice room (for an additional fee of course). Hotel service at a high level so there was nothing to find fault with. Animation only in French so if someone wants to go to this hotel with children, please keep that in mind. The drinks at the bar were very weak, the wine from the restaurant was much stronger, strange. Souvenir shops at every turn are a big plus, two supermarkets right next to the hotel are also a plus. The sea is about 200 meters from the hotel, so very close. Greetings to the entire hotel staff and management! 🩵

We stayed at this hotel for a week in May. Our feelings about the vacation were mixed, but for the price, it was probably reasonable. The place is beautiful with great views, but the room was not as it appeared in the booking photos. The room cleaning was superficial: the toilet was a bit dirty, and there was hair and dust in the bathroom. However, the rooms were cleaned daily, and towels were changed daily as well. The cleaning lady was very nice and friendly. The food seemed okay at first, but with each passing day, it tasted less fresh, and later we had stomachaches. However, the waitstaff was also attentive and friendly. There weren't many activities at the hotel. There were evening shows, but only in French. The drinks at the bar were mediocre, with a strong alcohol taste. The hotel has two large pools and sun loungers, but on the beach, there often weren't enough loungers for everyone. Overall, this hotel is suitable for those who enjoy a quiet vacation and don't expect luxury.

I stayed for 9 nights and had a generally good experience here. Reception staff were helpful along with polite and informative . The hotel in generally nice and clean and in good aesthetic condition. There are loads of sunbeds outside in the pool area.

We spent a week at the hotel. Starting with the room: we stayed on the ground floor in room 101. The room had an unpleasant smell, which I think came from the sewer. One of the beds was made with old linens that had ingrained yellow stains. The bathroom was small, old, and uncomfortable. After taking a shower, the entire floor was wet, and we had to lay down towels, which were changed once every two days. There was no smoke detector in the room, and there was an empty box from a fire blanket on the shelf. We could hear every flush from the neighbors above. Two other families also complained about the smell in their rooms. One family was upset that their room did not match the photos online, to which the reception replied that the website shows the best rooms, and they don't post pictures of all the rooms. This response came from a Russian-speaking woman at the reception, whom I want to emphasize was rude to the guests. The food varied but was tasteless. The children only ate pasta.

Good enough hotel, however with some flaws. Localisation is near busy road with bus stops on line Agios Nicolaos-Heraklion wchich allows for free movement on the island. Yet you must cross this crossroad without traffic lights. Staff tries their best and generally nice. However i must warn you of a an "entartainer" Carlos wchich is annoying cringe and rude. But despite that is good enough hotel.

We have been here last week, 2 adults and 2 kids 8 & 10, hotel is basic but ok. The pools are great, there are enough sunbeds for everybody. Location is quiet, no partying people or sounds of bars or nightclubs, that was because there is nothing in a 2 mile radius. The All-inclusive is horrible though, bar opens at 11:00 and closes at 22:30. Only postmix drinks (cola, Fanta, Sprite) Beer is non alcoholic!!!! Didn't dare to try the wines. Food is absolutely horrible, you've get a lot to chose from but there are absolutely no flavours and i've got sick after 2 days. My kids only ate the fruits, everything else they couldn't bare. We've spend the rest of our holiday eating at the neighbours (Valentina's, they were great!!!) We weren't the only one complaining about the food, almost everybody we spoken to told us the same. There were people living on bread for more than a week!!! This was the first and the last time we went to Club Lyda.

A really decent place to visit. We visited Stella Village as a group of 10 with all inclusive. Not sure if it is possible to visit this place without this option. Here is our review: - Service is great like... really great! Spot on staff. - Rooms were really nice, but we had a broken lamp and an electrical outlet that had seen better days, but nothing serious. - Room was cleaned nicely every day, and the hotel gives you 4-5 water bottles, when they clean the room. - Food was decent at the buffet. Desserts were above average compared to my previous experincenses, when it comes to all inclusive. - They got a unique restaurant, which you may visit once for free. Food was... below average (see the picture with the 2 "logs" - supposed to be kebab - are you serious?), but we had a lot of fun. - Airplanes come and go quite closely, but not a problem. - Water facilities are incredible! Go nuts! There is a fair chance that we will visit this place again!

A very clean hotel with fabulous staff, the food is not overly diverse but very good and sufficient. Not all the rooms are renovated, the one we stayed in, a family room, was not, but after a hot day when we arrived in the evening it was clean and cool even if the air conditioning did not work. Interesting beach, the concretes that protect it from the waves are ugly, but those concretes help you to swim when all the other beaches are red flag and the waves passing by them create a unique sensation that children likes.

Enjoying our last day at Stella Village today. Can't fault the hotel, staff and food in anyway. The staff are incredibly friendl.and helpful - from the cleaners, to the waiters / waitresse and even the ifeguards at the waterpark. The rooms are modern, clean and exactly how they look in the picture and refilled with fresh water bottles everyday. There is plenty of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Considering the hotel is international, it caters very well for everyone. Every member of is exceptional and they all.do a fantastic job! Clearly working very hard and provide that extra level of care and service. You'll not be short of things to do, with plenty of pools, arcade games, beach, bars and restaurants a short walk away. The only thing that wasn't clear online when boiking through jet2 was that it is 3 hotels in 1 and you don't have shared access to it all. All in all a fantastic place for families with young children and teenagers!

Absolutely brilliant place. Staff are the hardest working people and always so welcoming and pleasant. We're in a family room. It has 4 single beds and 1 king size bed which is really comfortable. It also has 2 bathrooms. The pools and sheer size of the place means it really takes days to see it all. Plenty places to eat. The food is the best we've had in a hotel never mind all inclusive. One of our party is coeliac and the meals are made personally and brought to the table. They really take great care. Absolute must for families!!! Hotel grounds are well tended to. Flumes are fab for the kids! Will book again when we get back.

We arrived early to the hotel, so we weren't given our rooms yet, we had to wait for around three hours. That's perfectly fine, I understand, I'm not here to complain about that. Me and my family waited in the lobby, and then ate lunch for those few hours, but there was a big problem all of us had; it was horribly hot inside the hotel too. You could barely notice a difference being in and out of the lobby, and unfortunately, already having traveled hours and not being given our rooms, the heat was just another add to the stress. When we were finally shown to our rooms, I was just simply disappointed. I believe that the minimum for every and any hotel is cleanliness, and this place definitely didn't have that. Despite it being "cleaned" around 15 minutes ago, the floor was still black in some spaces, it was obviously very dirty. I have seen other reviews complain about the same thing as well, and I just really want to know why y'all aren't fixing it, when it's so easy to clean properly. There's also no hot water in the bath, only in the shower, and the TV's screen just hung down, and when we tried to fix it to it's correct position, the screen just dropped down again. I think it's very obvious that the staff doesn't care about the condition of the rooms they give to the guests. On the other hand, the food and beach are absolutely flawless. There are a lot of options to choose from, the servers are really nice, and the view is also gorgeous. I believe that if this hotel maintained better cleanliness and much better rooms, it would quickly get five stars immediately.

As a value for money it was a good choice however there are a quite few items to improve. Starting with the good things: the food is very good, especially the deserts, there are healthy meals and a nice selection for vegetarians. The location is perfect, the beach is nice and the city is close to have some sight seeing. The facilities were good, like the pools or the slides. The down side was mainly the room. We asked for superior family room but it was not super. It was rather basic with old and sometimes dirty furniture and also noisy due to the music from the beach. The cleanness was also not perfect, even if we specifically asked for because there were also some ants. There was no application for the hotel however it could make the life easier and quite usual in other hotels. Facilities were closed quite early at 6pm. There could be some safety controls as well, because hot pots and pans were on the shelves in the restaurant and there was no sign. It is also a pity that the hotel did not ask for any insight automatically from the guests in order to improve. So mixed feelings, good for any occasion but probably not returning

Most staff are decent. I get it's the end of the season and it's long, but service is still serviced Ants everywhere and if you aren't lucky that's the room as well Great choice in restaurants and pools which you can't fault But the rooms are not what you see on any of the websites we checked This is though an incredibly family friendly resort and if your kids are between 5 and 15 it's perfect but just take the rooms as a base and don't expect the world from it Note it says village! It's massive and there's a lot of people

I had a great time with the family, the staff were very friendly and hard working. The pools were great and very clean, there are several pools to choose from, and the beach access is very convenient. The food options were diverse and very good as well. Although I encountered a few ants and got stung from unknown source, I still had a fantastic time. I think the rooms could have used a mop so guests will be able to keep the room clean during the stay. Anyway, I would recommend this place without hesitation!

Wonderful place. The food was great and we didn't even eat in any of the themed restaurants. The baklava was to die for! Such a pretty looking hotel, with the blocks of rooms in different pastel colours. The little stone walkways leading to all the rooms were beautiful, lined with vines, lime and pomegranate trees. We had a room for 3, so one was on the sofa bed, which was a worry but it was fine, more like another single bed. The room was large but the air-conditioning was faulty. After reporting a couple of times a brand new unit was fitted. Very clean all over the hotel and pool areas great. Most staff were really cheerful but a couple of the older male staff could be a bit grumpy but they mellowed as the week went on. The entertainment team were husband and wife and they were great, had a great game of darts most days. I never did get that 180! 8 of us went on this holiday with ages ranging between 23 and 58, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful holiday at Silva beach, nicely laid out rooms in small blocks not one big building. 2 decent sized pools, both with nearby bars & loungers. The staff are very welcoming & feiendly. Food & drink is good & we would go again without hesitation. It's situated on the beach with lovely views, is well located with the small harbour/port in one direction with many nice bars & restaurants along the sea front, star beach in the other direction with nice pools, water park & nearby water sports & snorkeling. Many shops, bars & restaurants along the main road that runs parallel & fairly close to the seafront path/road. Up the hill are a series of small old villages that are very nice & well worth a visit, there are plenty of taxis if you don't fancy the walk, there are multiple bars on the way back down from Old Hersonissos to the beach side Hersonissos to ensure you don't get dehydrated! Alar dinner show is well worth booking in for a very entertaining evening.

The hotel was very pretty and the people were very nice. It's right on the beach and has some great views of the sea. Biggest problem was the buffet style food was inedible. No matter what I tried it was the worst thing I've ever eaten. My wife and I were shocked that so many people were eating it. Since it's in a tourist area the surrounding food is really expensive and not super great. There was a disappointing lack of Greek food.

We were amazed at this resort and were warmly welcomed by reception, particularly Elena. Friendliness, professionalism, meals and location were all well above expectations. The all inclusive package is great as the meals are really good and a huge variety. There are plenty of sun beds around both pools and on area of sand at the sea. There are very few children resulting in it being a quiet resort with mainly older guests. The “partial” sea view room is lovely and overlooks the pool with the sea in the background. The village tourist area is across the street from the hotel. The evening entertainment is pleasant and stops at 23h00. There are many spectacular restaurants within walking distance. We recommend staying here. May 2023.

Booked this Hotel for a 10 night stay with my wife and teenage son. On arrival at 1am we were shown to our room but quickly realised that they had allocated us a Double Bedroom with 3 beds shunted together rather than the one bedroom annex/apartment. As well as lacking any sort of appropriate privacy, given my son's age (15), he is also 6 foot 6 inches tall so the additional camp bed provided had to be slept on by my wife. Complained to Reception immediately and was told to return the next day. On returning the next day I was informed that they genuinely believed that they had upgraded us, as the room we were in, had recently been renovated. Nevertheless they understood very quickly that the room was not appropriate. By Day 2 they had allocated us to a new room and while we were on an all-day trip had moved our luggage to the new room. This room, although the decor was more dated, served our needs much better and provided us with separate sleeping quarters and a lovely big 1st floor balcony. The professional way in which they turned round this negative scenario into a more positive one and their swiftness to act has to be applauded. The food was great and when called upon the staff were always friendly, courteous and helpful. Yes you have to get up at 7am for a pool sun lounger which wasn't an issue for us but compared to other resorts I have been to, the pursuit of a sun longer is not as ruthless. The entertainment was average but that doesn't matter because unlike other all inclusive hotels it is very much in the centre of a lively area with many bars and restaurants to choose from. We booked the Italian A La Carte and the food was really good. Unfortunately we left it too late to book "Prime Burger" so I would suggest to anyone that you try and book early. All in all a great holiday!

We spent there 9 nights and everything was great. Very friendly staff from the receptionists, to the cleaning ladies, kitchen managers, waitresses and spa ladies :) I have gluten intolerance and the kitchen manager was spoiling me with gluten free desserts every day! Also they were super accommodating towards our small baby with special food requests. The room was cleaned everyday, it was perfect. And the own beach was a highlight:) thank you 😊

Very clean rooms, right next to the sea with sandy beach and clear water, but the most wonderful exceptional food quality! Even for the children of 3 and 8 years of age! My family and I were on vacation at this wonderful hotel just last week for 8 days and 9 nights, I have to say it was the best decision to choose this hotel, the facilities are very well designed for a family holiday, the kids were very happy and very enthusiastic to participate in every single kids activities. We stayed in a bungalow, The space is alright but is quite small, anyway, the terrace is wonderful and if you organise yourself well it is just alright. The animation team for kids is incredibly nice, the young girls and the boy were always too nice to my kids. The restaurant is a top food restaurant, with an amazing variety. The access to the beach is just 3 minutes walking out of the hotel, you just need to cross one outside street. But it is just alright. We are considering going back next year or even sooner if possible. I highly recommend this hotel.

Thank you, Sol Marina, for an absolutely fantastic experience. I highly recommend this resort for a family vacation in Crete. Just a short 15-minute transfer from the airport, the hotel is beautifully located on the beachfront. The premises are top-notch and offer a wide range of activities for both children and adults. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the warm welcome from the hotel staff, who were well-organized, well-trained, and kept the hotel very tidy and friendly. We stayed in a beachfront room on the third floor, which offered a stunning view. I want to highlight the incredibly friendly staff, especially the hostess at the restaurant, the restaurant manager, and Eleni from the restaurant staff. They made this trip unforgettable. The food was cooked to perfection, and you could feel the love and dedication in every dish. For families wanting to enjoy the famed Greek hospitality combined with good food and great entertainment, this is the perfect place. During our stay, we booked a car and explored the island. The hotel's convenient location made it easy to visit Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos. Additionally, the on-site shop and surrounding shops made it easy to pick up a few souvenirs. All in all, I definitely recommend a stay at Sol Marina. Once again, thank you to the entire team for being such incredible hosts. P.S. the bear will get a,special place at home!

This is our first time at Marina Beach Hotel and it was just a great holiday. We were given a very friendly welcome and the hotel manager is also very friendly. There is a beach where the hotel is located and there are also some shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The food was very varied and not always the same. From cold dishes to dessert, everything was indescribably delicious. The staff are very friendly and the entertainment team kept us very well entertained with daytime activities, games and evening shows. The children were well looked after and kept busy in the mini club and the mini club team were always very friendly and treated the children very well. What could be improved was the cleaning service. Unfortunately the rooms were not cleaned properly and the toilets in the lobby were not always clean. The hygiene could be a little better, otherwise I would have given 5 stars. All in all we were very happy and had a very nice holiday. We would love to come back again.

Lovely spa hotel, spa facilities and pool facilities are great, I got a Greek massage which was unbelievable. The food was varied but not of high quality, and would have liked to see more authentic traditional options as didn’t really feel much like we were in Greece when we were eating. However still some nice options. Staff friendly and helpful, rooms clean and had everything you needed. Gym was poor, it was a room hidden away on top of a bar that no one mentioned to us, with a bike, a few dumbbells and a yoga mat. Weird rule about not being able to take more than one drink from the bar at a time, even if you were taking a drink for yourself and whoever you were with. So had to go back and forward. This was inconsistently implemented depending on staff on the bar. Cocktails very watered down. It was about 15 minutes in a taxi to the town 22 Euros each way, not much else around the hotel so if you’re looking for a chilled stay out of the way doing nothing at a reasonably priced all inclusive this is the place for you. They have a ‘private beach’ which is just a small bit of dirty sand with old sunbeds so really wouldn’t recommend it being worth the shuttle bus down there. Rethymno old town is lovely, if I came back I would stay nearer the town. Overall we had a nice holiday because the weather was good and the pools were good, and we could generally eat some half decent food. Not brilliant but not bad either, some good points and some to improve on.

Before we came we were very worried because of the bad reviews But we have just spent a week here with our 5 month old baby and it's been the one of the best holidays we have had. Yes there is a drinks rule but you can get cocktails all day, beer,wine , soft drinks and hot drinks ! Spirits are after 7 so it was like a little treat in the evening. There is a rule of only 1 drink per person but all you have to do is put the drink on the nearest table and you can grab another no problem. The food was amazing different selection every night and the snack bar by the pool had a good selection of pizza pasta and salad. Perfect for lunch. The staff were really friendly and welcoming had no issues at all, and made such a fuss of our little girl it was lovely. At the pool they come and clear all your used plates and cups up so you don't have to take anything back. The Greek nights were brilliant got everyone up to dance and we had such a laugh, we had such fun we attended Greek night twice ! The shuttle to the beach and back was really good always on time and the man driving the bus always helped us on and off as we had the baby again lovely people. We booked the shuttle into town had to book this 2 days in advance no issues we spent 6 hours there and again the bus was on time picking us up and they even provided a car seat for our little girl which we was so grateful for. The people that write the bad reviews in my eyes are just to stuck up there own bums 🙃 ! If you want a nice week away good food lots of cocktails this is the place ! Would 100% return again ! We also got late check out as our flight was a late one this was only an extra 25 euros and as they understood we were allowed to keep our bands for the rest of the day so we basically had an extra day for free !

Would never come back here! I never like to put bad reviews as a business owner I feel you should help businesses not bring them down. However, I feel that strongly about how bad this hotel is that it’s ruined what was supposed to be a nice holiday with my girlfriend. The food is the only positive about this hotel, that was amazing. I love Greece and would definitely recommend Crete. This hotel is pretty far out of the way, but I wasn’t even bothered about that. The staff are all pretty much rude, the reception staff in particular, and definitely not helpful at all. You have to book your room to be cleaned when ever you want it cleaning. Same if you want clean towels. The alcohol, I know it’s the kind of hotel that don’t want you smashed which is fair enough but the alcohol they do serve is either watered down or 0% So unbeknown to myself this holiday was a detox. I guess that’s a positive😂 The electric kept going off in our room and nothing was done, and when we asked for a late check despite rooms being available they said no! If you want a shower before you leave for the airport you have to book a slot which again no one told us about so when we asked about that there was no slots available. As I said I never leave bad reviews but honestly this hotel has not given me a good holiday at all so would definitely not recommend it.

I stayed here for a week the beginning of October 2024. The resort is beautiful although I wouldn't say it 5☆. The room needed updating and the showers were full of rust and limescale. The shower heads were full of limescale so didn't work properly. The food was ok, definitely not 5☆. The entertainment was poor. The pools were lovely and plenty of sunbeds but that could be different in peak season. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. I would recommend the resort as a 3 to 4 ☆.

Nice room, good aircon, no English TV. Food was very good although typical of all inclusive buffet my husband who is a vegetarian said it was the best he's ever experienced especially if you love salad and cheese. Beach too far to walk but transport provided by lovely driver and we went every morning. Complex not suitable if you have any mobility issues as steps and some slopes quite steep. We would go again.

The hotel is fantastic, all the staff are very friendly. The gym is a decent standard. The tennis courts look very good. The food generally is good. The sunset from the beach is incredible. It’s unfortunate the beach bar isn’t open later. The rooms are good and beds are. You get delivered to your room on a golf cart with your luggage. If you want premium spirits they are included you just have to ask. It’s about half an hour walk to the nearest town, which is a wash with bars along the shore with good places to eat and drink and everything you could need.

Excellent first holiday as a family here. The staff are very polite and helpful. They always tried to entertain our baby too which was lovely. Especially the cleaner and lady who welcomed you into the main restaurant. We had a shared pool which was amazing with us having a ground floor bungalow. I’d definitely recommend requesting ground floor if you’re paying extra for a shared pool. The place was spotless and everywhere in and around the hotel looked beautiful. The only downfall was I’d say the food isn’t 5*. It was nice, but the individual restaurants weren’t top notch food and the portions were small. We ended up going to the buffet some nights even after a meal. Other than that, would definitely recommend!!!

Just returned from the Beautiful Island of Crete, having enjoyed the beautiful weather & the hospitality awarded by the locals to our Family, Grand Children & Us Oldies! We stayed in the Elounda Water Park Residence and this place certainly was the "glue" which pulled everything together we expected from the island and truly made the holiday the relaxing experience we hoped. Arriving in the dark, we were amazed at the Stunning views from our rooms in the morning - we never tired of that view. The rooms we were given were 1st rate, very clean & modern. Cleaned daily to the highest standards. All the staff of the Residence were very attentive & hard working making sure everything was to be the very best it could be. The pools, bars, restaurants, animation team were great. This place really did provide a personal, homely feel that is not generally evident in the large all-inclusive complexes. It was like you were part of their family. The town of Elounda was a wonderful place to spend time if you choose to wander out - lovely bars & eating places, beaches all you could want but not swamped with people - very chilled. Would We return to Elounda and the Elounda Water Park Residence ? - Try and stop us!!!!

I don't usually listen to negative reviews and now it turns out that I'm doing it right. I read in some reviews that the entertainment team is very tuned in to the French, which we also experienced and I don't think it's good either. My son wanted to play in the water with the others several times and asked, but for some reason he was not invited. But fortunately, he didn't get bitter, so there was no problem and we didn't take the matter to heart. We had a fantastic week here. A wonderful view, great and varied food was really different every day, the staff was very kind. We really liked the lady in the shop (unfortunately, I don't know her name), she is always kind and smiling. My kids really enjoyed the slides and pools. We knew they had salt water in them, so we arrived prepared with goggles so it wasn't confusing. I was rather happy for that, because that way I didn't have to worry about normal water causing problems. Unfortunately, one of the slides injured my son's back, but after that he paid attention to only sliding on it while sitting down and it was no longer a problem. We were in room 118 and its location is really steep, but it was only difficult to get up the first two days, after that we walked up or took a taxi without any problems. Spinalonga is definitely not to be missed, even the children really enjoyed the historic place. Elounda cannot be called cheap, souvenirs and especially clothes are very expensive, but the restaurants are surprisingly cheap and cook excellently. Not sure if next year, but we will definitely come back here again with great pleasure.

I'll start with the positive the managers son was very accommodating and tried his best to help, but some of the reception staff were very dismissive. You would ask for something to be dealt with, and they would write it in a book and dismiss you by looking away. The food was average for all inclusive but found ourselves getting bored of similar food and eating out. The negative, we were put in a 1970s style holiday camp chalets with broken air conditioning, smelly bathroom, sockets hanging off wall and holes to back of other sockets. I was also unable to close the door to the balcony so any air conditioning was always going to fail. I complained and was shown another chalets in similar condition. I declined and was upgraded to a family room. This had 2 air conditioning unit but only 1 worked. I was promised it would be fixed. It wasn't until I call the tour company that this was repaired somewhat. The toilet had to be squeezed into due to the layout and a socket above the kitchen sink was hanging off the wall. The park is build on a hill side and has very steep walks to get to anything other than the top pool and dining area. The pools are salt water so if this is not your thing beware. The whole place is a bit run down but they are building new apartments which look very new. The bar doesn't open until 11 so I hope you don't get thirsty or you will need to buy drinks from the onsite shop. I could continue but please be aware this is not a hotel and 2/3 stars at very best. Would I recommend this place - NO and I'm easily pleased normally. Crete was beautiful outside and away from this hotel.

We stayed here with 11 of us in 3 family rooms, with a mix from ages 8 to 15. On paper this hotel could be brilliant but it’s lacking the extra touch. Some of the reception staff was unbelievably rude, we had to go numerous times to ask for our towels changing as the cleaners was very hit and miss, our beds was only changed once in the two weeks. When you told the receptionist they hadn’t been they had a shoulder shrug attitude about it, as if they were aware this was a problem! We had 3 family rooms but on arrival was put in two family and one twin, but after having to complaint and multiple trips to reception been asked to come back tomorrow this was sorted (this seemed to happen to lots of guests) the 3 rooms we had was all very nice in the new block. Our main problem with this hotel was the food, some of which was ok on a main not very good. The restaurants lacked care and presentation. The evening meal wasn’t set and was often sat around dirty tables. There was nothing that had a wow factor at all just all very average. The snack bar wasn’t horrendous but not great. Most of the chips/snack food was cold but they was stack the trays high and left it to go cold rather than filling little and often. One day I asked the staff member if the had and more chips because these was all flat cold she said yes they go cold fast, so went to get some and filled them on the cold chips 🤯. Lots of the staff were young summer jobs. And although polite they didn’t really seem to care. Two of the men and woman who worked in the day that worked on the top pool bar was really nice, had great hospitality! If the hotel was run by these it would be brilliant!! A older woman who worked on this bar was rude though, could be heard many times having run in with guests, I think she just had an abrupt manner. She gave me the wrong drink once when I said oh sorry I didn’t ask for that, she tutted and said go drink that come back for another. The all inclusive drinks were the worst I’ve had ever in a a 3*, the quality wasn’t great. Cocktails served in cheap tiny disposable cups. Unless you bought them. Glasses were like gold dust in this hotel. I understand that of your in a pool area it can’t be glass but if you bought the drinks they came in a nice beer or cocktail plastic cup but the all inclusive was terrible. Round the pool in the day not one cleans through the day round so you end up with lots of rubbish around. This hotel is n a quiet pretty town, it’s 15/20 min walk down to the town with children and a very steep walk back up so we got a taxi which wasn’t a problem. We ended up eating out lots and didn’t have a bad meal in the town was beautiful. The hotel is on a hill, so not underestimated how many steps and climbs there are. It’s not for the faint hearted! Pools are salt water so you need googles and don’t take white as it colours them. Entertainment was in French even if it had of been in English wasn’t great on a night. Highlights were the Greek night and BBQ night. There are plenty of facilities in this hotel, but the service, entertainment and food lacked.

Cheap disposable plastic cups and no hot food, food is served at room temperature. That’s not 4 star experience, but that is what Evita Resort served us. We arrived at Evita Resort and the gentleman and the lady at the front desk said that even though we had paid in advance, there was no room for us. But they would accommodate us at nearby other hotel of their’s and it would be Evita Resort quality, so we would not need to worry. Evita Resort quality means ants marching in room and bed. Cheap disposable plastic cups, no glassware even for lunch or dinner. What should have been hot food, was served room temperature. So cold scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast. Their four star lunch was chicken nuggets and hot dogs, served lukewarm of course. Dinner was for example so overcooked chicken breast that knives had problems cutting them, yet they weren’t served hot. Towels and linens are changed every three days only. Another sure sign of four star quality. Only positive thing was the pool area, it was clean, peaceful and nice amount of sunbeds and shades. I would not recommend Evita Resort.

Booked Evita hotel for 10 days, we have been to Greece on a few occasions, this hotel has been far the best.Good choice of food throughout the day including snacks. Sam is amazing, he makes everyone welcome and makes everyone smile, this made us comfortable.The room are spacious and are regularly cleaned to a good standard. I've read reviews about ants etc ...but these are outside not inside, maybe if people did not drop food there would not be any. Thanks for a lovely stay and will book again for next year, well done to the rest of the entertainment team for your hard work, but previously stated Sam was exceptional,Thank you.

Day 8 of 10 days in this beautiful place. I will write a longer review on leaving but for now I just wanted to write a review of a special barman called Mike, he has been truly wonderful and catered to our every need and has a smile on his face every minute whilst doing so. We are staying in block 800 and have a lovely pool 30 seconds from our door. Mike mans the little bar beside this pool. I watch him interacting with every customer and everyone of them leaves with a smile after talking to him. Mike has helped to make our stay in the paradise of Rhodes just that little bit better if possible. To management, wherever you have found this guy, you have done a great job, please at your very earliest opportunity give this young man a promotion, he thoroughly deserves it and is a vital asset to your hotel. I recently stayed at Evita Resort and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the rooms were clean and spacious. It was nice to have plenty of room to relax after a long day. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job maintaining the room's cleanliness throughout our stay. The staff at the hotel were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any requests we had. Their welcoming demeanor made our stay more pleasant. However, there were a few significant downsides. The food was a major disappointment. Despite trying several dishes, we found that none of them met our expectations. The quality and taste were subpar, which was quite a letdown. Additionally, the food options are not particularly child-friendly. Families with young children might struggle to find suitable meals, and the general atmosphere of the hotel doesn't cater well to the needs of families. In summary, while Evita Resort excels in room quality and staff service, the food and family-friendliness leave much to be desired. If dining and location convenience are important to you, you might want to explore other options

We stayed in a family room with 2 adults and 2 children. The room is very small, barely enough space to put suitcases away. The room also constantly smells like urine so we had to buy an air freshener, but this doesn't cover the smell. The fridge is old and rusty and smells bad inside. One of the bedside lights is hanging off, but the maintenance team was sent to fix it after I complained. The shower has black mould in it. When I complained, they just said "This is just how it is in Greece". The hotel itself feels generally old, rough around the edges and grubby. The elevator was out of service for a couple of days. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. Didn't get a single good night's sleep. I complained about all of the above and asked for an upgrade. They said they would call me but I never heard anything from them. The food is adequate. Lots of choice on the buffet, but the quality is lacking. The Muses restaurant offers a poor example of Greek food. You're much better off finding a local Greek tavern. The pools are well kept and clean. The view from the 4th floor is beautiful, you can see Turkey. There's immediate access to the beach from the hotel grounds. It's a smooth pebble beach with some sand. The staff are friendly enough, but some of them look very unhappy to be there, especially the bar staff. The kids entertainers are nice and friendly, but the entertainment is basic. The drinks are fairly poor. Sometimes the punch will be made with orange juice, sometimes it's orange squash. The pool bar looks particularly dirty with rusty fridges and mouldy, wet areas. The waterpark is good for kids. It looked safe and clean and my 9 year old enjoyed it. Overall the hotel is disappointing and absolutely not what I would class as 4* compared to other hotels I have stayed in.

Great Hotel. The staff is superb. The room are very clean. Outside a magnificent pool and a beautiful garden awaits the guests. The beach is very well kept and beautiful. The strongest point of Mitsis Falraky is obviously its cuisine. I've seldom eat better food like here. All time I felt surrounded by kindness and attention However there is only one aspect that requires improvement. Namely, all the rooms located in the first building, having even numbers between 12 to 24 , 112 to 124, 212 to 224, 312 to 324 are affected by the noise of the ventilators from the kitchen and/or laundry. This makes sleeping with open windows impossible. Even with the windows closed the continuous droning is noticeable. With that said, I would recommend it without hesitation.

This is overall a really nice hotel, very picturesque, in a cute location for a little getaway with friends, a partner or the family. There is some fun evening entertainment for anyone that likes that type of thing and then other parts of town are also easily accessible. Try to book the a la carte restaurants if you can, they are lovely. I will note some behaviour from a staff member. The behaviour is at best a bit cheeky, and at worst quite unprofessional. One of the staff, Matthew, likes to leave his personal details for female guests that I guess catch his eye. He then tries to seduce them. Ultimately what 2 consenting adults do is up to them but I thought it worth noting as, from his own admission, this isn’t a one-time thing. When I was there he did it to at least 2 women, including me. He seems like a nice young man but it was just…interesting. Had a great experience nonetheless and the staff were otherwise faultless.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mitsis Faliraki, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Everything about this place was fantastic! The hotel is situated in front of one of the best sandy beaches of Rhodes. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some relaxation. The hotel's restaurants offer a wide range of delicious options, from local cuisine to international dishes. The breakfast buffet was impressive, offering a variety of choices and the several a-la card restaurants added an extra touch of fun and variety to the dining experience. The entertainment at the hotel was as well top-notch. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the incredible friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. From the moment we arrived, there was a genuine desire to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Every staff member we encountered, from the front desk to the restaurant servers, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

A pleasant hotel on a beautiful sandy beach. Sunbeds available by the sea and by the pool, outdoor gym. Pancakes by the pool all day, served by nice ladies. They cook great and have excellent quality wine. Every night there is a different program. The staff is very nice, except for the pool's bar waitress, who ignored us. On the other hand, the others are very nice - at the reception, at the main bar, in the restaurant and on the beach. Big thanks to the trainers at the gym for the way they trained with our son, they are really great!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rodos Maris, and I can’t speak highly enough of the experience! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with every detail, but a few highlights truly stood out. Firstly, the food at the hotel was another memorable aspect of my stay. Each meal was delicious, with a diverse range of cuisines to try. The real stars of the culinary experience, though, were the sweets! Each dessert was like a work of art, both in presentation and taste. I found myself eagerly awaiting each meal just to try a new treat—the pastries, cakes, and chocolate delicacies were simply out of this world. The sea view was beyond breathtaking. The beach was pristine with crystal-clear waters, and the gentle waves created the most serene atmosphere. Whether lounging by the shore or taking a sunset stroll, I felt as if I’d found a slice of paradise. Lastly, a special mention to the wonderful team at the Mexican restaurant. The waitresses were so friendly and welcoming, making us feel like family from the start. Their warmth added an extra layer of enjoyment to each dining experience, making it feel truly authentic.

Absolutely wonderful octobee half term holiday. We had 17 family members ( 5 family units) 7 children and 10 adults. We had a mixture of family rooms and bungalows. The staff were very helpful and responsive if there was a problem. We had a beautiful room and the food was delicious. The pools were a bit cold for the kids so we spent most of our time all together on the beach. They water was warm and the bar staff very good. Sunbeds are a bit rubbish though. Great holiday would definitely go again.

Hotel Sunshine Rhodes We recently stayed at Hotel Sunshine Rhodes and had a lovely experience, which I would rate as 4 stars. The hotel boasts a fantastic location right by the beach, making it perfect for those who want to escape the busy pool area. If the pool feels too loud or crowded, you can simply step onto the beach, which is conveniently located next to it. The food overall was a highlight. Breakfast was standard—similar to what you'd find in many hotels—but I would have loved to see more local fruits included. However, lunch and dinner were exceptional. The variety was impressive, with fresh and tasty options that catered to all tastes. We especially enjoyed the Greek yoghurt dips and the dessert section, which included delicious ice cream; we indulged in them every day! We stayed in room 105, situated in the first block. While the location was great, the room itself was dated. The mattress was in need of replacement, and the shower could use a thorough deep clean. Additionally, we encountered some pesky mosquitoes. My husband suffered from the bites so severely we had to visit the pharmacy; installing a net on the balcony door would definitely help. Next time we'll know to be prepared. Despite these room issues, the staff made our stay memorable. From the cleaning ladies, who were always accommodating, to the reception team, who were incredibly patient and helpful despite the constant complaints from guests about the hotel's dated facilities, their friendliness truly stood out. Dining at the Mama Mia restaurant (part of the hotel experience included in the price of the hotel) was a mixed experience. While the food was okay, it wasn't as good as the main restaurant, and we had to ask for extra drinks. However, the desserts were delightful, and we ended up having a fun evening thanks to the company of a lovely English couple we met. The poolside snack bar was a pleasant surprise, offering great options served until 4:30 PM, which was perfect for lazy days by the water. The hotel provided plenty of activities, including darts, water aerobics, mini-golf, tennis, and more. The hotel bars offered stunning sea views, and the location is ideal, with many local markets, bars, and restaurants nearby. Plus, bus connections to Rhodes Old Town and cheap car rentals made exploring easy. I only rate it 4 stars due to the room conditions, as the photos on the website can be misleading, showcasing newer buildings instead of the existing ones. While I understand the marketing strategy, it doesn't accurately reflect the present condition and has led to this negative review and disappointment. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, returning relaxed and happy, and I would definitely consider staying here again. Just keep in mind that while it's not a luxury hotel, it has plenty of charm and benefits. I hope this review helps others in their decision-making!

More of a 3 stars than a 4 star. Some aspects are dated, but the public areas, pools, gardens and beach is kept immaculate they take real pride in that, staff are great. Food is a bit below par but has a variety and the drinks are quite poor for an all inclusive unless you like beer. Great location and is ideal for a quiet get away, if you want to explore the island you need to rent a vehicle.

Stunning location Right near the strip. Full of beautiful restaurants bars and plenty of shops We had a family room The room was plenty big enough with a sea view. The bathroom needs tidying up. Sealant on the shower is full of mold. It rained for 2 days and the room got flooded. They font seem to fix the cracks and water damage. Just dry it out. Service is mostly very good. There are the odd ones that are rude. Especially one lady in the mama Mia restaurant. She was impatient and took our plates away while we were eating. Food was really terrible in there. The main breakfast lunch tea restaurant was lovely. Plenty on offer every day and lovely staff. Pool bar is lovely Set on the beach its a beautiful location.

Stayed for 14 nights, hotel needs updating but generally had a good time, pools were lovely, only downside was the poor all inclusive drinks and food, unless you like their overly sweet cocktails, u cannot really have a drunk unless you like beer. No other options for any other drinks. And between 3-5 you can't have a cocktail! Food was very poor and basic ate out most nights.

This is an exceptional reasonably priced hotel. It has been recently refurbished and there are a variety of of rooms and out looks. Multiple seating areas, pools and bars. Great for families, but adult only quiet area also. All very close to fantastic sandy beaches and calm seas. Great swimming and snorkeling. As other reviewers have written - the food and drinks are extremely good. Great location, arguably best area to go exploring from on the island. Complementary sandwiches and water for late arrivals, and water from shop nice extra touches. All in all a superb holiday. Efharisto para poli much Sunrise Team!

Had a lovely stay here last week for mine and my partners anniversary. The staff were great! Very friendly and they congratulated us and made our stay memorable, we were very touched. The views surrounding the hotel are stunning and the facilities on the site meant there was a lot to do although we spent 90% of our time by the pool! The food was great, excellent service from the restaurant staff too. All the staff are a credit to the hotel to be honest. I hope to be back again one day

overall the hotel is quite OK for a 3/4 star. But do something about this "great" idea of ??8 fans that work 24/7 and "make sleeping easier" for the buildings in the neighborhood. Maybe building the fans from above will reduce the noise.

Came again for 2 weeks in October for my 7th year running. Absolutely love this place. Perfect location. Staff are always amazing, good variety of food and drinks always available. The little shop is very reasonable and has some great little gifts. Its a great place for a family holiday, but is also a perfect place for a solo traveller like myself as it has an adult only area. I will definitely be returning next year in my favourite room! Let the countdown begin 😍

Arrived just after midnight, we booked in. We were told by the receptionist that they had laid a bite for us to eat. ( very kind of them). The rooms are very clean and the beds were made every day. Even clean towels everyday. Had a look around the hotel next day. Very nice. We even found part of the hotel that was quiet for adults. No kids in the pools on that part and it had 5 pools on that part. (Very nice ) The hotel staff are very pleasant and friendly. One of the waitress called SOTI was very nice, always happy to see us. Again very friendly. The restaurant can get busy, so be early or you might have to wait a little. Range of food from 7am until 9:45 at night Can’t wait to come back next year for 2 weeks. Over all 5 out 5 for the hotel and the staff.

I really enjoyed our stay. Our room was not fully clean upon arrival, but after telling the staff, it was fixed right away. Nice and modern rooms. The food was nice, but a bit cold at times. The pizza was amazing, and always hot! The dining hall is kind of small, a bit crowded at times. We usually came at the start of the meals to prevent this! The drinks in the jungle bar were amazing. Also the staff was really nice, Elli and Anna. I got engaged here, and the jungle bar gave us a bottle of sparkling wine to bring to our room to celebrate! We really appreciated that! ☺️Overall we had a nice stay!

All perfect. Access to the beach is a bit of an adventure, but provides for a nice look into Greek fauna and flora. Loved everything. Food was great. That said, for a resort of this size it is unfathomable that they serve instant coffee from the machines everywhere. If there were stars for coffee I would give it -2.

We visited as a couple on our anniversary for 1 week in mid October. The staff are exceptional, very friendly and always willing to help. We are surprised that some reviewers have said they are rude, we can only surmise that those people are the ones who treat staff badly and expect everything in return, which we witnessed several times. Just be nice to people! Charoula and the big boss of the hotel (didn't catch her name, but she's always visible and making sure things are running smoothly) are truly an asset to the hotel - they really care and engage with the guests and help in any way they can. Elli on the bar and Emuli and Soti in the restaurant are an absolute delight, always smiling and happy. We stayed in the new section of the hotel and the rooms are exceptional. They keep this as the quiet section of the hotel, adults only and it's very peaceful and serene. There is room for improvement with the housekeeping, but not to the point it would detract us from rebooking, they just need more housekeeping staff and higher standards reflecting the build quality of the hotel. Probably the most pools i have ever seen at a hotel, so they were never overcrowded and no need to reserve sun loungers. This made the stay particularly peaceful and chilled. The waterslides in the kids section are great - even for a couple of grown adults! They will certainly keep kids occupied for ages. The food was good, there's always something for everyone throughout the day. The pizza's made from scratch and to order were a particular standout. Lots of fresh salad and vegetables, but the fruit offering could be improved. Desserts were delicious. The alcoholic drinks were ok but there is room for improvement. Quite heavily watered down and disguised with sweet cordials. We found the wines quite good in comparison and a simple Gin & Tonic to be good. Surprised not to find fresh orange juice, only concentrated sugary stuff. Overall they made our stay very special and memorable and i would recommend anyone thinking of booking to go for it!

Arrived at hotel gone midnight didn't have the greatest of greetings just an elderly man checking us in . Then taken by car to other side of hotel ,met by two security guards. Felt this isn't great! As he was on phone arguing,we were put in a small room ,it was like a fridge ! . But security guy did say if your not happy they will move you . Which they did to a lovely room overlooking the pool. But was soon ruined by a young couple arguing till gone midnight ,so walls are thin ! But staff were great and was instantly sorted. Staff friendly and hard working very clean hotel ! . Food great. But sadly beach too gritty and not inviting town run down . But great bus service ,a few minutes from hotel .

Just returned from a fantastic weeks stay at the Grecotel Dama Dama. The staff are exceptional. The place is truly amazing. Having the option of a huge chilled pool with the sea and beach right on your doorstep. Would highly recommend for families, couples and even solo travelers. There is a variety of entertainment and activities that you can partake in if you wish but there’s no pressure. It’s high on the list of places I’d like to return to.

A stunning location on the shores of the Aegean sea, warm water, a gently sloping beach. Alright it's not soft powdery white sand but you can't have everything. Its definitely geared more towards families than say couples, and as a solo traveller it's not the best hotel I've ever stayed in, but there things to do all day and into the night Food is fantastic, you don't have to wait long for a drink, but if you're on the beach or by the pool, then you're getting you're own drinks sadly. I had a superior poolside bungalow, which isn't that superior and not really at the side of the pool, but I could pop back whenever I wanted which is handy. A la carte restaurants are better than the buffet, but you need to book well in advance if your trip as space is limited. There is a lot to like about the Grecotel Dama Dama, and I give it 4 stars, even though they claim to be a 5 star hotel......

Starting with the location of the hotel, which is easy to arrive to, and being by the sea, the hotel provides incredible views, along with amazing pools. The restaurant (Dama Dama) is very clean and well organised, and the food is diversified, fresh and delicious, covering each culinary style. The room we had was big, spacious and full of light. The only downgrade is that even though there is a pool specifically for kids, parents tend to make kids stay in the main pool, which is disturbing, because some people want to relax, including us, which is impossible while hearing kids scream . Besides this, the hotel is beautiful and I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

The late night arrival was a little busy and chaotic and it took a while to get access to our room but throughout our stay staff were attentive and keen to help ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The dietary labels aren’t accurate unfortunately so it is necessary to speak with the chef in the buffet at each meal. However, we were given a tour each evening explaining what is safe for us to eat and additional dishes were prepared when needed. Food was delicious and we didn’t go hungry. Good range of daytime activities including water gym and water Zumba as well as Pilates. Evening entertainment was minimal but we did especially enjoy The Golden Tones and the street dance show. Plenty of places to lay or sit in the sun or shade. I particularly liked the garden area between the beach and pool. Excellent selection of ice creams including 2 sorbets for vegans/dairy intolerant. Lots of cocktails and wines to choose from. Sunrise from the beach was beautiful and you can see the Milky Way at night from the beach also.

I love this hotel, This was my favourite holiday yet that i’ve ever been on! The rooms are absolutely amazing. With great views. The food selection is my favourite bit about this hotel, it tastes so good!! It has so much different varieties of food, and i love how it’s all connected in one building with a rooftop pool and bar, and right next to the private beach. The location is brilliant, next to the coastline and such warm weather. The staff are absolutely amazing throughout the whole resort, and the spa is excellent, so soothing and calming, do recommend it here.

Just returned from a 11 day half board basis holiday with my wife. We had a fantastic time. The hotel was modern with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff could not do enough to help you. Our room was modern and cleaned every day with clean towels provided. There was a great choice of food in the restaurant and the food and staff were excellent. Service was quick. The reception staff were very helpful and polite.We used the pool on the roof and at any time of the day were able to get a sun bed. Position of the hotel is ideal for visiting Rhodes Town. We will definitely return

Lovely breakfast..nice sitting areas outside or in big area to walk around. Lots of options hot and cold food. Everything is lovely can’t complain! Clean tidy lovely staff members. Nice bar to have pre drinks or just to look out onto the sea front. Couldn’t fault anything, the pools are so nice so nice!! Rooms so nice sea view is a must. Sunsets are amazing! Nearby water sports jet skis and paddle boards. Not too far from shops and restaurants also.

Reading the recent reviews makes me question if we were taken to the correct hotel! It was far from a nice experience! I’m inclined to agree with the reviews from a few weeks ago regarding the rude staff. The male staff who were working in the outdoor area of the restaurant were rude, grumpy, and unhelpful. They didn’t even clear our plates, we had to move our own plates to unused tables. The quality of service at the reception was dependant on who was on duty. Booking system for the restaurants was badly communicated and managed. Missed out on reservations due to their poor communication. Food was overcooked. Very few traditional Greek dishes. Area around the slides was dirty and potentially unsafe due to poor management of the floor matting. Rooms were dirty and looking tired. Key card would lose its memory multiple times a day, despite keeping it away from phones and other devices that could cause it to fail. Too many bad points to waste my time writing! Good points: Very friendly staff at the pool bars. Very friendly chef. Cleaners were friendly. But not enough of them. Going home. I’ve paid far less and received much better service and quality of food. Given the price of the holiday we are very disappointed. Perhaps it wouldn’t have felt so bad if we had been treated better. Stay well clear!

hotel definitely below European standards cleanliness in rooms and generally in the recreation area below standards. The hotel needs renovation. Food is average, very monotonous and the choice is quite modest. If someone has purchased all inclusive, they must be prepared for quite high additional costs after 23 everything is payable and the choice of cocktails is quite modest. The number of available sunbeds by the pools is very limited and evenings with animators end around 23 despite the fact that it is a hotel for "adults". The biggest advantage is the location, the views are breathtaking and this would be the only plus of this hotel.

I certainly wouldn't call this a 4-star hotel. The staff are fabulous, and the food is good, for all-inclusive, but the rooms are dated, the bed was horrifically uncomfortable, the bathrooms are a bit grotty, and the booze is low quality. "All-inclusive" cocktails are still charged at half price, are not well made, and do not use decent ingredients. Better cocktails can be found pretty much anywhere else nearby. The sunset is beautiful, though, and the evening entertainment is quite good.

Hotel is adequate at best, some of policy decisions made by hotel are ridiculous, I.e closing the roof pool bar but only leaving the bottom pool bar open, so you needed to go up and down about 50 steps to get anything to drink despite no where near enough sun beds for everyone, then they took away most of the sunbed mattress on the roof top bar. Staff were generally helpful as I need a gluten free diet but despite having contacted them before awareness of cross contamination was very limited, dessert was jelly everyday which was in with all the other desserts so other food dropped onto them regularly. Food quality could be vastly improved by being hot. No water in rooms and you are not allowed to fill your own water bottle from the dining room either. Told by reception you need to buy your own water even when on all inclusive. Evening entertainment was a fiasco as 45 chairs in the main bar for what appeared to be a full hotel..... I would give a higher rating for most of the staff accept surly barmen at the pools who didn't appear to want to there. Do not underestimate the steps !

We had breakfast included and choice was really good. Besides out private pool there were 2 more swimming pools available. We had issue with our fridge in the room but after talking with member of staff problem was quickly resolved. Highly recommend.

This hotel is advertised as a four star and I don't think it warrants this. The bedding and curtains are old, dated and dowdy. The pillows were tiny and lumpy and you couldn't get any extras.The stench from the sewers is overwhelming especially away from the main building. The staff are efficient but mostly not joyous in their work, Joanne at reception was the exception to this. The WiFi was practically non existent. The food was very samey and lukewarm, the saving grace was that there were some good local bars. I would not go back to the hotel again

We stayed here a week ago for 6 nights and this was what I thought. - When we arrived, we were given a room on the top floor whilst the lift was broken. After being asked to move multiple times, the receptionists told us it would be fixed the next day and they said that for 4 days straight. It was only until our second to last day it was fixed. - Sometimes there was no signs for food on the buffet - The WiFi does not work well anywhere. The receptionist even told me it doesn’t work in any rooms. - There is a horrible sewage smell that can be smelled anywhere in the hotel. - The swimming pools are filthy. Even with goggles on you cannot see the bottom of the pool. - Food was extremely repetitive and bad. Something else to note is there isn’t much that is kid friendly for food. Also was a very small choice in food. - No water bottles are supplied to rooms even though you cannot get water from taps - Our room was not clean on arrival and was cleaned poorly throughout our stay. - Shower was very bad, either warm with terrible pressure or freezing with a lot of pressure. - Good location for the beach however not near much else, there isn’t much to do outside the hotel. - AC in the room is good - Drinks machine broke two nights in the hotel so only water or beer was on offer. A few things to think about… - It is ages from the airport, however this resulted in us getting a private transfer for free both ways (we booked with easyJet) - We seemed to be the only English people in the resort, this is not a complaint but some of the staff did not speak English well. - No English channels on the TV. All together was a good stay due to the fact we only spent 2 days in the hotel. Wouldn’t stay again and would not recommend.

We spent a fantastic week here with my family. The resort was clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the buffet on most days but found that there were not many chicken options. The evenings were filled with fun and laughter thanks to the amazing entertainment. The animators went above and beyond. Kids club was fantastic and a great opportunity for little ones to make friends and parents to have a few relaxing hours.

I took my wife for 5 days for her birthday, We stayed in the adult only part of the resort, and it was so peaceful and relaxing. The views were stunning, and there was a nice variety of food to choose from. The whole resort was so clean and tidy. all the staff were friendly and smiling. There were 3 different forms of entertainment each evening at the 3 different bars. We booked a spa treatment, which was very reasonably priced and It was fantastic. We only wish we would have booked longer, so much so we are booking again for next year and taking the whole family. The only negative thing we experienced was the mosquitos, but that is just nature and is no fault of the resorts whatsoever. Overall I cannot recommend this place enough. It was absolutely amazing.. Thank you once again and see you next year.

The hotel is huge and a perfect location with an amazing beach and large pool. Unfortunately that’s the only good parts of the stay. The hotel itself is very tired and run down, we had 4 rooms and every room had maintenance issues, bathrooms stink of sewage and 2 of us had to swap rooms due to broken showers and mouldy mattresses. A la carte restaurants were fully booked for our 5 night stay so only option was the buffet which is awful. Very difficult to get a table, then when you do finally get one, good luck finding a staff member to clean it. The food itself is horrid, only positive is that I lost weight in n an all inclusive holiday because the food is not tempting whatsoever. On terms of the drinks you have a plastic token you have to keep all week to redeem for a plastic glass at the bars. Only local beers and spirits included. You can’t even get a decent coffee anywhere, the coffee machines in the buffet are terrible and the only bars that serve a decent coffee are charged. Would recommend to avoid this hotel in honesty. Such a shame as the location and beach are beautiful.

I had a fantastic stay at Sandy Beach Resort in Corfu. The beachfront location is stunning, and being away from the city added to the charm. It’s a quiet, peaceful place, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The resort staff, especially the reception and guest relations team, were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The food was great, and there were plenty of activities to keep me entertained. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with excellent service, Sandy Beach Resort is the place to be!

There are lots of reviews of this hotel which are low in stars. Sometimes people do not bear in mind the price they would need to pay to get the service they would desire! Place was clean and tidy, room was comfortable with safe, fridge, kettle etc. AC very good. Bait was INSANE good for an all inclusive, yes people have said it's repetitive, there is always salad, bread, chips etc. but the variety is there for the main meals, I loved the food. Would 10/10 come back here, facilities excellent overall.

Unfortunately I can't rate this place any higher. Don't get wrong the place is nice it's self. But also nothing to do outside the resort. Food was nice but the plates had a bad smell of sulphur. They are not washed properly. Really overwhelming smell of it. The dishwasher water needs changing more regularly. So that really put a downer on the experience of enjoying the food. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Also unfortunately out side our room smelt of feces all day long. The smell came in the room the smell at high heat of the day. Door was also broken so there was a massive gap at the side and the bottom so the geckos used to run in and out 😂🙄. Baby pool had tiles missing on the bottom of the floor so sharp and dangerous. We did like the slides and the apart from the sharp missing tiles the baby pool was very cute. The whole place definitely needs a revamp for sure but we did enjoy it apart from them things pointed out. But we wouldn't return and it's definitely not 5* I would say 3 at the most.

Our family (two adults and a 2-year-old) had an amazing time for a week at the start of October '24. The buffet was surprisingly good. Specifically the whole salmon, lamb joint, and the offer of roasts every night. The grounds are beautiful and it's a very short walk (less than 5 mins) along to the pebble beach with bars and restaurants. My only suggestions are for pizza to be offered more in the buffet (kids love pizza) and for the desserts to be improved (some had a synthetic taste and we couldn't eat them). The staff are all lovely and the pools are great.

The staff are lovely and the rooms are well equipped however the cleaners sometimes didn't clean properly. The pools and facilities are good fun and of a high standard with a nice all round atmosphere. However the food was not up to standard and was very hit and miss. I stayed for a week and ended up getting food poisoning from the seafood night and ended up cancelling trips because of this. Stear clear from eating high risk foods here unfortunately as they have poisoned a few people that same week.

Lovely hotel in Corfu. The reception staff were excellent throughout. It was my wife’s birthday and they looked after us and treat us to a birthday cake / fruit platter and a bottle of wine. The food in the hotel is fantastic and we were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were nice although could be cleaned better as the toilets and sinks didn’t smell great! Hired a car through a recommendation from the hotel. Nice beach, tavernas and shops nearby too.

Good location, Messonghi is very recommended for families with small children, very calm and quiet, hotel super close to a relaxing reserved beach (sunbeds and umbrellas to hire for 6euros all day, very convenient!) And many daily excursions are available. Friendly and great staff, nice facilities, overall an excellent place to relax! All inclusive is a real all inclusive, without excessive costly extras. Highly recommended, your kids will love it! (And you too)

Me and my partner stayed for 8 days and it was lovely. The hotel itself is beautiful, the room was amazing and very modern with gorgeous views from the veranda. It is a very large complex so we did a lot of walking but there are buggies available to take you around site. I really enjoyed the food, a lot of options and it was nice to try new things. The desserts were also delicious. The food courts around site were very nice also, the bar next to the beach did lovely pasta dishes and pizza around lunch time. We dined in both restaurants on site and really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere in both. The staff were also lovely and welcoming. Overall it was a lovely holiday and thank you to all the staff.

Rooms were as expected. Quite basic need a little updating. Beds are really hard. I felt like I got a pressure bruise on my hip. Food was lovely great variety each day. Wine was surprisingly good 3 white 3 rose and 3 red always found one that was suitable. The desserts were fantastic the best I've had at an all-inclusive. The spa is well worth a visit. Great massage head neck back perfect! Lovely Spa and staff are excellent.

The only small thing that we found to be a problem for us is that there is nowhere to go for a walk - the road in front of a resort does not have a pedestrian sidewalk, so for a walk we had to take a buss

I would highly recommend you go all inclusive. I stayed in a beautiful Bungalow with a Seaview it made the holiday I stayed the last week of the season the weather was beautiful and cool at night. This is our second visit this year but would have to admit the first time was by far the better visit. The first two rooms offered were totally unacceptable but eventually an amazing hotel receptionist provided us with a good room similar to the one we stayed in on our first visit. Unfortunately coming at the beginning of the season and now at the end of the season you can certainly tell the difference.

We started coming to Kos in 1996. We still come back. In 2020 the hotel we usually stay at closed so we came here. We have returned three times and all I can say is it is what a fantastic place. The animation team are fantastic. The bar staff fantastic. The Maids kept our room spotless and the receptionists are so polite and helpful. The bus into town is punctual and very handy I will dare yogi to .not be impressed with the whole hotel. Ultra clean, food is so Good and drinks are great. Tonight the show put on was the best and I would recommend anyone comes to this beautiful place and enjoys their holiday. I wish we could stay longer. Two weeks of pure happiness and fun. Thank you thank you for the best time again.

Positives first We were in a suite with an upstairs downstairs and it was immaculate, cleaned everyday and the air con worked fab. The view was just beautiful and we got to hear the entertainment at night from our balcony watching the sunset. There was a whole variety of food for breakfast lunch and dinner which meant most days the kids and adults were happy. Drinks are good measures 😂 too good maybe haha. The animator team are just awesome! My 4yr old son can be very challenging and they kept him entertained no problem, he fell in love with Miguel and Kevin and was so sad to leave them!! I'll be singing the sunshine song for the foreseeable! Plenty shaded areas for the kids, lots of shallow kids pools and snacks ice cream served throughout the day for them. The staff can never do enough for you apart from the old grumpy man who serves on the bar at the animator pool! Which brings us onto the negatives .... this man is so rude and grumpy it actually made us switch what pool we sat at because no one wanted to ask him for drinks, he huffed and puffed at us every time we asked for a drink, and God forbid you ask him if he was having a cigarette! I got my drinks slammed on the bar! The hotel shop is quite expensive but we found the shop down by the beach to be much more affordable so started using that. The drinks machines kept going out of order so had to walk up and down the dining room to find one that worked. But honestly they are the only negatives I could pick out of our 2weeks there. All in all it was a fabulous resort and we will most definitely be back!

my biggest complaint about the hotel is one. it is generally dirty and you can see that the hotel needs renovation. a lot of flies in the restaurant, tables stick from dirt. ants in the rooms. traditional and Chinese food is good, other dishes especially the imitations of European average.

The hotel is far away from everything and the service at the reception is not good. Only some of them can speak English and they how can speak English doesn't speak well. The service at the reception is not so well the information is not clear, sometimes incorrect and not at the acutall stand of time. The service at the restaurant is okay mostly the waiters are fast to take the dishes but it's quite normal that some people can't eat when they want because there are no seats left. The pools aren't heated and at a temperature around 15°C (the lake is warmer than the pools).

Very enjoyable stay. Our rooms were comfortable, clean and well positioned close to one of the pools. The grounds of the hotel were attractive and well maintained and there was lots of space for guests around the two pools. The nearby beach was also pleasant and the beautiful sunsets were a highlight each evening. There was plenty of choice of food and drink at breakfast, lunch and dinner and the quality was always good. Car hire is the best way to explore other beaches and resorts on the island as the location is a bit removed from the main tourist areas. Excellent value for money.

I'm going to give a more balanced review than many here. Kouros Palace is neither 5* nor 1*. I came here with the expectation of the hotel not being 5 *, more like a low 4 *. But sadly, even then my expectations were too high. The good: Great pool areas. 4 *. Great beach with beach bar. 4 *. The service is good. 4 *. The bad: The rooms are somewhat dated and in need of renovation. Also they have some very strange design decisions (like having a window in the door to the hallway which is always lit, therefore it's impossible to get the room as dark as I would've wanted, why?). 2,5 *. The ugly: The food. It's.. not good. The a la carte was decent. Great view and decent food. 3,5 *. The buffet is bad. And that's when I try to rate it from a 3-4* expectation. If I expect 5*, it's absolutely terrible. 2 *. Overall: A debatable 2 *, mostly because of the food.

We got robbed on the last day of our stay. A gold necklace and a gold pendant went missing after the room was cleaned by the staff. Both items were lying on the shelf seperately (not attached to each other), with other non-gold jewellery. It’s very suspicious that the only 2 gold items were missing. We checked the whole room, in the bed, in the sheets, clothes, under the bed etc. We immediately reported it to the reception but they did not care and had no interest in helping us. They didn’t even ask how it look like, when did it happen etc. They said that it probably got folded with the sheets. Not sure how that is possible since the jewellery was not lying on the bed and the only 2 gold items were suddenly missing (all other jewellery was untouched). The lady at the reception said they can check the laundry room in the morning even though we told them that we are leaving in the middle of the night for our flight back home. They told us they will e-mail us in the morning once they check but we haven’t heard back. They also refused to call the police. Is this how a 5-star hotel should be treating their guests? Based on the law the hotel is responsible for items left in the room but they don’t seem to care. The jewellery was obviously worth a lot of money but it had more of a sentimental value as this was given to me by my grandma 20 years ago. Don’t recommend staying there if you don’t want to get robbed.

I enjoyed my holiday at this hotel however there are a few negatives tea and coffee was never topped up the towels were stained and the toilet looked like it needed a good dose of bleach the cleaning could be improved.overall I would recommend the pools are nice and so was the food and the beach was lovely

The food is just terrible!!! It's not even three stars. The main dish is vegetable pancakes made from old vegetables and that’s all 😵‍💫! The staff does not pay attention to complaints and behaves arrogantly and rudely (There is not even water. They give you two bottles of 0.5 each on the day of arrival and then you need to buy water at a local store. The rooms are old and dirty. To get to the beach you need to walk along a road without shade and it is quite far away. There is only one golf car and it runs very rarely. The air conditioning does not work either in the restaurant or in the bar or at the reception. Everywhere they save as much as possible. This is just a terrible place😢

We had a great time at this hotel. We had booked into a basic room which was fine and we were happy with. 3 days into our trip we got offered an upgrade to a room that had direct access to a pool. If you get the chance I would book this room. The drinks are all branded and the cocktails were lovely. The food was very tasty. The walk up and down to the beach is about 5 minutes and it not too bad of a walk. Overall I would fully recommend this hotel. We paid £700 each including flights and it was great value for money

Firstly, the staff were incredible. From reception, to waiters, the crepes woman and our maid were so kind and friendly. Everyone is always willing to help anyway they can. The rooms are outdated but still pleasant, pillows are very comfy. Our TV didn’t work which on a nighttime a bit of white noise is nice but it wasn’t missed. The views are amazing, but the location is difficult for people like us. Luckily you can walk into Kardamena or get a bus. The food wasn’t the best, the fries were so tasty and a great idea with pizza on the beach but other than that, pretty basic. The food and isolation of the hotel were a downfall but that’s because we aren’t the kind of couple that enjoys just “all inclusive”. Each to their own. We both thank the staff for their hard work and kindness, you may think that they’re just doing their job but they all go above and beyond for you.

I liked the hotel and the rooms. Especially the staff was very helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily and the buffet was with some of variety. I went with my 2 daughters and they loved the pool especially the saltwater one. Which was close to our room. We didn’t really use our private pool because it was too cold. Beautiful surroundings and taken care of. Since nothing is perfect there were a few things I didn’t like. That we had to pay for the gaming bit. A few coins per day would have been nice for the kids and I couldn’t get the drinks refilled at breakfast or dinner buffet. Beautiful country seemed very safe they even had a refrigerator outside the store even when the store was closed. And didn’t have to pay for parking! 🥰

From arrival, we were greeted with warmth and welcoming by Miltiadis which continued throughout our stay. The room which we stayed in was a family room with private pool and was always maintained and stocked for our visit. A minor during this season is that the sun does not hit the private pool or deck but the main pool is fully enjoyable and in sun. The beach always had sun beds available and the sea was stunning and warm. The beach bar staff were exceptional and we highly recommend visiting this bar. The food was fantastic. The bar was tremendous with great compliments of live bands playing throughout the nights. The evening cocktail bars were very relaxing and chilled out. Staff were very prompt and friendly with special mentions to Erika and Edi. Overall a fabulous holiday and would recommend to anyone.

First of all we had a private pool and all of the pools are a clear blue colour, the pools are very clean. They do food pretty much 24-7 do you don't need to worry about missing food too much. There is a kids pool with slides a general swimming pool and if you have a one a small private pool, it is very cold and there is a button at the back for bubbles but it doesn't warm up the pool. Everything looks really pretty and it has amazing vegetation. The staff are very friendly and are happy to help. I would highly recommend coming here if you want to stay in kos!

The hotel isn't what you expect from a four star, you have to pay for use of safe, no kettle in room, no entertainment other than greek music one night. Majority of staff aren't friendly. Definitely catered for German guests, we stayed in September & there were mainly German pensioners. All inclusive drinks were self service drinks in the day so it was limited to a few options, no spirits until after 6pm. Food was quite bland, dinning room dark & dated, trees around hotel blocked out alot of sunlight. Sunbeds were plentiful, pools were clean, rooms were clean. All German channels on the TV no English. No toiletries in bathroom either, few tweaks could do so much better as per other reviews. Wouldn't stay here again if I came back to kos.

Great location - lovely beach, bars, shops and restaurants all within close walking distance. Rooms were rather small but clean (no kettle). TV was stuck on German without option to change. Food was basic and repetitive, not very much selection compared to other all inclusive hotels. Hotel is over run by Germans - very German centered. Food is only available at certain times and cocktails and spirits only available after 6pm for a few hours - which we were a little shocked at considering it is all inclusive. Staff were friendly.

Don’t be fooled by the photos of this Supposedly 4-Star All-Inclusive Resort. My recent stay at what was advertised as a 4-star all-inclusive resort left me thoroughly disappointed. Despite the expectations set by its rating, the experience was far from what one would anticipate from such a classification. Here are the issues that marred our stay: Food Quality and Dining Experience: Let's start with the food—perhaps the most critical aspect of an all-inclusive resort. Unfortunately, it was an outright disaster. The self-service buffet offered a limited selection of unimaginative, bland, and often unappetizing dishes. It was incredibly disheartening to see the same food repeated across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, making mealtimes a monotonous chore rather than an enjoyable experience. To make matters worse, it was evident that some salads and dishes were repurposed leftovers from the previous day, which raises serious concerns about freshness and hygiene. Breakfast hours were particularly frustrating. The service officially ran from 7:00 to 9:45 AM, but if a dish ran out at 9:10 AM, it was never replenished. This stinginess was both surprising and unacceptable, especially when guests have paid for an all-inclusive service. Beverages and Bar Service: The hotel advertises a range of local alcohol-free beverages and alcoholic drinks available from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. However, the reality was far less generous. The selection was severely limited, and basic cocktails like mojitos were inexplicably chargeable. Even some simple drinks that should have been included came with additional costs, which felt like a deliberate attempt to squeeze more money out of guests. Accessibility Issues: Accessibility was another significant problem. The lift was not on the ground floor, meaning you had to navigate 8-9 stairs just to reach it. For elderly guests, those with mobility issues, or parents with infants in pushchairs, this was a considerable inconvenience. A 4-star hotel should be far more mindful of accessibility and inclusivity, and this setup was not only inconvenient but also potentially hazardous. Room Amenities: The room amenities were shockingly inadequate. The hotel provided only three small bars of soap, with no shampoo or body wash included. When we requested these basic necessities, we were told we had to purchase them. This is simply unacceptable in a supposedly 4-star establishment. The in-room TV was another letdown, with channels only available in German or Greek. For international guests, this renders the TV practically useless. Additionally, the promised "Free WiFi" was a joke—it offered a painfully slow speed of less than 2-3 Mbps, making it nearly impossible to use for even basic tasks like checking emails. The One Saving Grace: The only positive aspect of this hotel was its proximity to the beach, just a 5-minute walk away. However, this one advantage is far from enough to justify the 4-star rating or the overall cost of the stay. Final Thoughts: In conclusion, this hotel falls woefully short of the 4-star standard it claims to uphold. The poor food quality, limited beverages, lack of basic amenities, and accessibility issues are significant drawbacks that overshadow the few positive aspects. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting a true 4-star experience. There are undoubtedly better options available that offer genuine value for money and a more enjoyable stay.

All facilities are good. Shower is good. Aircon is fantastic. Some things were not as advertised on the TUI website such as free sun loungers on the beach (€5pp), also had to pay €2.50 per day for the use of the safe in the room. Overall still very happy.

This hotel I would not class as a 4* hotel. For all inclusive alcoholic drinks be aware that you can only have beer or wine until 18:00pm and then after 18:00pm you are allowed to have cocktails. Most spirits are an additional cost. Food selection very small and repetitive but luckily there are restaurants close by to the hotel, although this does defeat the object of all inclusive. Room clean with good working air con, Staff seem to have the attitude that they don’t want to be there and are not very welcoming. Tigaki in general I would recommend the beach is beautiful and there are some lovely places to visit in Kos. This hotel I would not recommend.

A lovely hotel and the staff are fantastic. Yiannis on the pool bar was particularly good. He remembered my drink every time and was always happy to serve. Our housekeeper was amazing, unfortunately I can't remember her name, we were in room 204 she was our regular provider. Always had a smile and ready to help. Poppy on reception was also lovely. All in all a great stay. The beach was bit of a walk away but gorgeous.

Great staff, manager, dining staff, bar etc. except a weird womanish half bald guy on a night shift who don’t care about customers. we had to help explain everything to the newcomers (also as new guests) we took the elderly ladies to the hotel rooms, the guy from the reception would probably have left them on the stairs. He didn't even thank us and was rude. We had to change room after one day that’s why 4 stars on it. Everything with rooms were good. Clean. Hotel recommended

Would definitely stay here again without a doubt. The hotel was immaculate, everything was so neatly placed and clean every day. Including our rooms, these were cleaned every day without fail, beds made, floors wiped and bins changed along with new towels every couple. The location was ideal. We walked everywhere without the need for a taxi, Kos town is only a 15 min walk or so with beaches or shops along the way to stop in. There was also a lovely beach where we watched the sunset at, this was left coming out from the hotel. The food at each meal time was different and always had a good variety of meats or sides, some things lacked in quality but overall was not bad at all for all inclusive. The drinks were also decent, different sodas along with beer and wine on tap, the only thing that was lacking was the fruit juice, it was more like water! There is no entertainment, but the evenings had a lovely vibe. The bar was open till late with music playing in the background, and everyone was sat around chatting whilst playing cards which had a really nice atmosphere. WiFi is accessible from the room, restaurant, pool and bar. The rooms were very spacious with a hair dryer, safe and plenty of storage space. The couple of downsides were that the ‘double beds’ were actually 2 single beds pushed together, so not the best when staying as a couple, but I understand why it’s done. Secondly, the shower drains were not the best. Greece is known for lack of drainage, but we had to stop-start the shower every few mins just so we didn’t flood the bathroom. The pool/sunbeds were nice, very clean however the water was very very cold (this may be due to visiting in October though) so we didn’t get much use out of it. It’s not too much of a manic rush for beds, but if you leave it anything past 9:30 you won’t get one, but there is adequate seating still in the sun by the bar. I must say though, if you don’t like cats, this isn’t the place for you. We had visitors at our room, maybe because we were on the ground floor, in the restaurant and by the pool, pretty much the whole complex. Something I certainly didn’t mind! We ate at the hotel all week, but decided to go out for a meal at the end of the week to a place called Istros which is a 5-10 min walk from the hotel towards kos town. Was a beautiful place and the food was absolutely amazing, definitely recommend a visit. Overall, I do not have many complaints. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning.

We absolutely loved this hotel, the staff was very friendly and we were super impressed by how many different languages every staff member could speak to accommodate every visitor. Cleaning staff did an immaculate job, the food was very nice and for teatime there was a different them every night. Lots of choice with lots of space indoors and outdoors to dine. Beautiful plants everywhere you look and you are a little bit sheltered from the road outside. Loved the fact that outside there were kittens and cats visiting at food times, which were so cute. The lady at the bar was a true gem, I think she's called Sofia, and she was the sweetest person ever. We were given free bike vouchers for one day so used these to visit Kos by bike, which was lovely. There are beaches all around this place from walks as little as 5 minutes. The only downfall is that the key card also does the electricity in the room, so when we took it with us, the fridge turned off and the milk we bought for brews wasn't good anymore. The aircon seemed to come on at 11am when we mostly weren't in the room but sadly not at nighttime when it was super hot. This hotel mainly had younger people there and there wasn't that much for families, no entertainment etc for kids and we had some trouble with extremely noisy neighbors one night. Overall would definitely recommend and go again.

Great hotel with great facilities, the food in the restaurant is absolutely amazing and we never had a problem finding things we like, the hotel isn’t really one for families with young children as there is no entertainment etc, Kos town is around 20-30 minutes walk away and there are lots of car hire options near the hotel, the staff were always very friendly and helpful. We used to look forward to seeing what the cleaner had shaped the towels as each day and loved the room its self which was quite modern.

The location is perfect with its own beach as well as 2 pools. A bus stops nearby for Kos Town. The rooms are clean. The resort is beautiful. The landscaping is unique, made up of vegetables and herbs used in the kitchen. The food is tasty and fresh. They cater for allergies. It's a true all inclusive, you won't go thirsty or hungry here. There is also a good range of activities. They pay attention to everyone, including their younger guests, it's the happiest children I've seen at a hotel.

Really lovely holiday - group of 6 adults and one baby. Staff amazingly friendly and can’t do enough for you. Rooms are clean but dated. We did have ants in our room but they work hard to clean these away. The food is amazing really one of the best AI we have done, wifi is not the best so had to get data roaming. The grounds are great with all the fruit and veg growing. We liked the bottom pool as beds were easier to get, good to be so close to the sea. Great snack bar and tasteful slides. Not too kiddie. Would return but would maybe want a room in the main hotel which seem to have been renovated, although the family bungalow worked well for us with a 5 month old baby.

Beautiful hotel fab staff and good food. I loved the fact that they ate growing fruits and veg throughout the hotel grounds I wish more hotels did this! Also the maids are truly wonderful always said morning and had a smile on their face which was lovely to see! Only thing that let's it down is bathrooms are very dated in main building rooms ours had alot of black mould in. Also the amount of kids running up and down the corridors really early in the morning screaming (this is not the hotels fault)

So, I have to say, we have just come back from a lovely week at the Grecotel Casa Paradiso. The hospitality was second to none. It was my partner's birthday while we were there and they were so incredibly accommodating. They organised birthday cakes and balloons and romantic evening meals for us. They really went above and beyond! My partner was so happy! I was happy! The food was incredible with plenty of variety, the cocktails were amazing, and like I said, the staff were all wonderful! The sun loungers were super comfy, the bed in our room was one of the comfiest i have slept in for a long time and I love the fact they grow so much fruit and vegetables on site too! This really gave the hotel a homely feel! I would 100% recommend and come back again! Thank you team!

Me and my boyfriend came to the resort, we booked a last minute holiday, don’t listen to the bad reviews everything was perfect!! The entertainment was amazing! Mikey the entertainment guy was absolutely brilliant. The all inclusive food and drinks were spot on! The location was about a 10 min drive from the town they had private hire or shuttle buses easy enough to get into town. Staff were lovely and friendly we got offered a sandwich and water when we arrived as it was about 2am. Towels were clean rooms were clean. The views were amazing. We had a lovely time !!!

I ignored all the nit-picky bad reviews and went here for a week with my wife and two young children 2 weeks ago. I honestly really enjoyed it and wouldn't have a problem recommending. Yes, ok, the rooms were quite dated, but they were clean and spacious, and a pool just outside the front door. All the pools were beautiful. Yes, sand does blow into them because of the location on the hill, but I saw them being cleaned regularly. Also, there are some dangerous transitions between the kids and adult pools, definitely not ideal, so parents have to keep their eyes open. I couldn't fault the food - good variety, fresh, clean, and didn't see or hear anyone else complaining either. We found the staff to be very helpful throughout the hotel, and we never had any issues at all. It's not a 5-star hotel, but we did have a 5-star holiday here

Please do not listen to bad reviews about this hotel! It’s an excellent destination with great views,fantastic service and accommodation for a much higher rated hotel. The reception is absolutely amazing with friendly and helpful staff. The manager in the reception area is amazing and tends to anything you may need to make your experience a memorable one. The view is breathtaking and you see the endless crystal clear blue waters as far as the eye can see. A wonderful holiday experience!

Myself and my partner have just come back from a week here, honestly ignore the reviews. The hotel was clean, well kept and the views were stunning. We had a king size bed, a patio area and stunning views of the Aegean/ Turkey. The food was as expected for an all inclusive. They have a microwave you can use if it’s not hot to your standard, but me and my boyfriend didn’t even use it. The bar had lots of variety, and the pool areas and water park were fab. We ate in the restaurant above the buffet restaurant on Italian night and it was fab! We used the shuttle bus a few times, and where it drops you off is a literal 15 min walk to the main strip, which is so good. Only bad point was that any activities I had booked with a ‘hotel pick up/drop off’ didn’t actually pick us up from the hotel, but taxis are easy to book with the receptionists. Also to any one going, I strongly recommend the 3 island boat tours, me and my partner had such a good day!!!

The room was clean and was right around a pool which was ideal and there in a number of pools to choose from. The man working on the main bar was lovely. Yes it is out the way however during the day there is a shuttle until 3pm. And after then taxis are €10 each way (the longest we waited was 30 mins) The food was okay the first few days but then seemed like stuff was being reused however we could find something each meal time but shouldn’t be having to “make do” on a holiday you’ve paid for. Very much felt like as we were the last week we were just made to make do especially the last few days (we weren’t aware of this as when we booked dates after ours were available and some people have had to move hotels for the rest there holiday) on the last night (only informed 24 hours before) the hotel closed at 6pm meaning those of us getting collected after (we weren’t collected until after 8pm and there was a number of us in the same situation ) were left sat in the dark! We had sandwiches made up but not what we’ve paid for at an all inclusive especially when we paid for Friday and didn’t arrive until early hours Saturday morning (bar and main restaurant closed) yet numerous members of staff around. Felt really unwelcome as they were all sat round watching waiting for us to leave (so no excuse to leave us how they did with no bar as staff were around as well). But can’t understand the thought behind leaving your paying guests sat in the dark. Sadly the managers attitude is also quiet poor and heard she’d lied to people who’d had bad experience s earlier in the week being able to move to a different hotel getting them to turn up for a transfer the next day all packed and then turning them away! Even heard an elderly lady got pushed! Sadly the last couple of days really let them down as would have been a 4 star review otherwise as loads of pools and the room was more the okay however the food started to go downhill and the last day was awful. It’s a shame as it has the potential to be a lovely hotel.

This is not a 4 star hotel, 3 would be a more suitable rating. We came end of season and there was a lack of effort by a lot of staff. Room air-conditioning was noisy, the room flooded if you have a shower for more than 45 seconds and the safe was locked when we arrived. All issues were reported but aside from the safe nothing was done. The gym had broken equipment. This was reported but looking back at reviews the same issues were true back in Sept. The location just about made up for the hotel. Gorgeous beach for miles, sun is glorious. Oh and the pools are freezing cold 🥶

Just had a great week here with my grandchildren and 4 adults. The hotel was so clean, food great with loads of variety and children catered for. Hotel was fully booked but it never felt like there were too many people and no problem getting a sun lounger at either pool or the beach. Had a trip into kos town which is beautiful, bus stop 5 minutes walk from the hotel and cost 20 euros for 6 of us. Lovely mix of nationalities and lots of friendly chats in the hotel. Entertainment team are so very friendly and the aqua gym each morning was great. All inclusive drinks are everything we needed and the constant supply of ice cream for the children was amazing. The sun rises and sunsets are also beautiful 😍 Would recommend for a great family holiday .

Very nice hotel, people working there were very nice and friendly. There were not many attractions nearby, but there was not really any need for them, because every night there was some event happening at the hotel at one bar. If you didn't want to participate you could go to the second bar near the beach which was really quite and nice to talk.

One of the best experiences we ever had. We stayed there for 4 days. Let me start from the location. This place is 20 minutes from the airport (Taxi costs 25-30 euros). The reception was super friendly and explained everything upon arrival. There is a mini market just near the pool and you get most of amenities. The room which we got had an amazing view! The room was clean and every day they cleared the room. It was all inclusive. The food was great, being a buffet means you will need to add salt and pepper for your tasting, which is known. But the variety of dishes and quality was better than many other places. All the staffs were friendly and polite to us. The bar had many cocktails and they were friendly and always had a smile on their face. Overall our experience was beyond our expectations and I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful vacation. Also, if you want to go to the Town, there is a bus stop nearby (5 mins walk) and costs 3,50 euros.

Basic rooms but clean. No hot water at all for 2 days, refused a kettle, appalling service, reception staff shouted at my partner, bar area overridden with flies. Staff generally rude with no customer service skills at all. Pool area was nice. Good location close to village. Good place to stay if you want freezing cold showers, blatantly rude and unhelpful staff and drinks at the bar crawling with flies.

The staff is rude, and also the service isn't good: the towels were never changed for the whole stay because they said that the washing machine was always broken. Also the pool was green. The quality of the food was not good and there wasn't very much choice since they cooked the same meals everyday. The bathroom didn't have hot water and the complains that we made to the receptionist were useless. The drinks in the buffet weren't cold at all. The place and the position were very nice but all in all this wasn't a relaxing holiday and the hotel is not woth 4 stars, maybe 1 or 2.

I don’t understand why all these reviews are so horrible, the pool is amazing, the staff are so friendly, the surroundings are beautiful, it’s a nice distance to the beach and into the town, close to restaurants too. You don’t come to sit around in a hotel room all day you come to enjoy the country. For me & my family- the hotel was brilliant, has everything you need.

Zante village is a nice place to stay room's were comfortable the pool was good,but food was not cooked breakfast was cold and showers had terrible water pressure virtually non existent after 5 in the evening . On a positive note the staff were friendly and helpful.

My wife and I have all inclusive holidays 5 or 6 times a year, and have done so since we both retired 10 years ago. Stayed at this hotel in October this year (2024). It has got to be one of the best we have stayed at. The whole place was spotlessly clean, the furniture in the foyer, the rooms, and the poolside was as good as new, and this was the end of the season! The food was perfect. Good choice and well prepared. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The pools were clean and quiet. So many hotels have music blaring away at their pool but not this one. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, and I would definitely go back there.

Family of six of us went in July. The rooms are rather basic and we were disappointed that there was a charge for air-conditioning (10 euros per day per room). Have to say the food was good but with the restaurant air-conditioning turned off it wasn't a pleasant dining experience. Get your drinks from the pool bars is our advice, the member of staff at the reception bar upset both my son's partner and my wife with her attitude, definitely not in the right role as she has no idea how to talk to and treat customers. Over all, a two stars from me, not a place I would recommend unfortunately.

We have been here for the last 3 years and have already booked for 10 days again next September. The staff here are absolutely brilliant, always cheerful nothing is too much for them to do. Special shout out to Stathis the pool bar manager, Eleni from activities and Ian Robert’s concierge always there to help you with everything! Daily activities, run by Eleni, are brilliant and the water aerobics are not to be missed! It’s in a great location to Argassi town if you fancy stepping out of the hotel, not that you really need to. Can’t wait to come back next year!

I travel both for business and pleasure several times a year to various destinations around the world. The hotels have been as diverse as the countries they were in, ranging from small family-run inns to huge hotel chains with multiple stars on their facades. However, I've never encountered something quite like this before: such a kind and attentive team. The ladies at the reception desk were extremely competent and helpful from day one until our departure. The service team in the dining area and restaurants was always very attentive and friendly. Like many reviewers before me, I would like to highlight one person in particular, and that is the service manager, Alexandros. I have rarely met such a friendly and professional hotel employee. Alex had a smile on his face and greeted every guest like a friend. He is very attentive and has trained his staff excellently for the job. His friendly manner truly enriched our stay and made it even more enjoyable.

I had an amazing stay with my friend at this hotel. Nice rooms, nice pool area and food. Especially thanks to restaurant and pool bar manager Alexandros, who made our stay the absolute best. He was amazing, and one of the most positive, kind and smiling staff, I have ever experienced. All the staff was very kind, but Alexandros was just the best of the best i have ever experienced. I can totally recommend this hotel.

We were expecting to come for a relaxed stay, unfortunately due to quite some guests, who refused to behave and keep silent in the night time, we were leaving disappointed and tired. In particular, hotel security keeps begging drunk guests to be silent and the drunk guests promise it is their last drink. However this sort of game continues typically for hours, either some other mad guests intervene or the drunk wrongdoers simply pass out. This is a big pity for the hotel, because the personnel is otherwise very nice and friendly, particularly the supervisor of the dining room, who was always doing his best to make the guests fully satisfied. Regarding location, hotel is situated in walking distance from beach. Also quite some bars and restaurants are nearby, including bus stop to Zakynthos town. Regarding the food, we generally liked it, despite of not very wide selection of fresh fruit. An issue worth mentioning was the salty water running from the tap. It was not possible to drink and also washing clothes was very challenging. Concerning the rooms, they were new and modern, with super comfortable beds and small fridge, but sound proofing was very poor. One could hear loud guests from the pool area and from corridor in the night. All in all, if you look for a place to relax, recharge batteries and have no stress, this hotel cannot be recommended. PS: Considering large amount of top reviews from users having only one or just few of them, I suspect that hotel fakes 5 stars reviews to keep the high rating. I believe that the high quality should be maintained otherwise.

We had a delightful stay. The food was diverse and delicious. The rooms were clean, well-equipped, spacious, and comfortable. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The only downside was the distance between the hotel and the beach, particularly since there is no beach bar and you have to buy drinks at the market or bring them with you. Additionally, the hotel provided only one water bottle per stay, which was unexpected as the tap water is not drinkable and other hotels usually provide a new bottle of water daily. However, we opted to refill it at the pool bar without any issue. I also strongly recommend bringing your own sunshade since renting one at the beach costs between 15-50 € per day. On the positive side, at the pool, sunbeds and sunshades are free and plentiful. Both evening programs were also incredibly enjoyable; I would have loved for there to be one every night.
