My stay at the Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora was, overall, a wonderful experience, thanks especially to the Agave restaurant, where I enjoyed spectacular food in an unbeatable atmosphere. The service from Bea, Erika, and Bea from Cuba was exceptional—always attentive, friendly, and with a smile that made every meal even more special. Without a doubt, they make a difference and make you feel at home.
On the other hand, my experience at the Oasis restaurant was not the best. The service left much to be desired, with slow and disorganized attention that contrasted with the rest of the hotel. It’s a shame because the setting is beautiful, but the lack of professionalism affected the experience.
Despite this small inconvenience, I would recommend the hotel without hesitation, especially because of the wonderful team at Agave. Thank you for making my stay unforgettable!

Beautiful, relaxing and quiet. Our favourite hotel in the Canary Islands (out of 10+ we've been to) and the only one we'll be actively looking at visiting next year. The location was very well maintained, beautiful and easy to get around. The amount of activities for kids of all ages was wonderful. Particular shout-out to Luciana and the "mini club" for creating an environment our kids actively wanted to visit each day (normally they need a little more encouragement).

Overall we had a lovely holiday in a very nice hotel. Stand outs for us were the staff who were super friendly and helpful, the pool area which was lovely and the food, which was incredibly varied. We thought the rooms were fine, if a little dated, one downside is a total lack of soft furnishings, which means noise carries between rooms/floors. Unfortunately, we had very noisy neighbours and had to move on account of being woken up late at night and early in the morning. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing resort, you might be better served elsewhere, this is very family friendly and as a consequence, there are lots of families and children and mealtimes are extremely noisy. There didn't seem to be any consideration for couples wanting a quiet table at dinner, which was a shame. However, by far the most annoying things about this resort were the roped off areas, differentiating red level customers from everyone else and the almost constant sales pitches from staff members trying to sign us up to the Circle membership. We had to endure their sales pitches over and over again, each time explaining we weren't interested and just wanted to relax. These things alone very much put us off, and we would not return to this hotel group as a consequence.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! We enjoyed every second there. The staff really takes care of your needs and is very friendly.
Especially the Guest Experience will make sure that everything will be according to your wishes. For example they created a daily baby meal plan. That means all their restaurants were prepared before our breakfasts and dinners and created amazing baby purees. Recommend everybody to talk to their Guest Experience staff. They are all great. Especially, Miriam took excellent care of us.
At this hotel you can truly relax and enjoy your time. We will come back here every time we are in Tenerife!

Disappointing Honeymoon Experience - Not a 5-Star Hotel
We booked this hotel for our honeymoon, expecting a romantic and luxurious stay, but what we got was far from it. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. Upon check-in, we were offered nothing more than a bottle of water — no glass of Prosecco or champagne like we’ve received at other hotels, even those with lower ratings. It felt like a missed opportunity to make a good first impression.
The room we were first assigned smelled awful — like a mix of sewer and dampness. It was impossible to ignore the stinky, humid atmosphere, and we immediately complained to reception. To make matters worse, someone from the staff left our door open for a large part of the day and didn’t bother cleaning it at all.
When we finally complained about the smell and the overall state of the room, the staff didn’t take our concerns seriously. It took a day and a half for them to move us, and when we were moved to an “upgraded” room, it was just as disappointing. Both bed legs were broken, there were cockroaches in the room, and the bathroom was falling apart. Paint was peeling off the walls, the shower was broken (with both heads running at the same time), and when we closed the door, the closet would just pop open. It felt like the room was falling apart. The smell was still unbearable, and when we raised this concern, the staff tried to blame it on the nearby banana plantation. Seriously?
Their response was beyond disappointing. They apologized for the inconvenience, but basically said that since we were now in an "upgraded" room, changing it wasn’t an option. It took a whole day just to change the beds — which also had broken legs, but at least they were somewhat better. It felt like a bad joke. The guest experience desk was busy every time we went there, and it became clear speaking with other guests we weren’t the only unhappy guests.
The breakfast buffet is large, but the quality is poor, and it didn’t feel like it matched the supposed 5-star status of the hotel. The worst part was that, instead of providing guests with free bottled water in the room (especially considering we're on an island), they charge for small bottles of water, coffee capsules, cream, and even tea bags — the same tea bags they give out for free at breakfast.
To top it off, the sunbeds by the pool were 80% and more damaged, making it impossible to relax comfortably.
This hotel is nowhere near a 5-star experience. It was the worst 5-star hotel we’ve ever stayed in, and it completely ruined our honeymoon. We won’t be returning, and we wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing or luxurious experience.
