Looking for another reason to holiday in Golden Sands? How about the weather? The coastal resort stays hot from May right through until October - good news if you’re looking for an early summer break or a holiday later on in the year.

• In January and February, Golden Sands is relatively cold with temperatures more akin to those of the rest of Central Europe, expect highs of 6 degrees Celsius.

• In March and April, things begin to pick up with highs of 9 degrees Celsius at the start of the Easter break which increase to around 15 in April - making it pleasantly mild for anyone looking for an early break.

• In May, Golden Sands’ weather becomes far warmer with temperatures averaging out around 16 degrees. That being said, the hottest days have been known to reach 20 so pack your shorts and sunscreen.

• In June, the temperature soars to an average of 21 degrees and can hit 25 on hot days. Again, this is a great time to grab a bargain before the start of the school six week summer holiday.

• As you’d expect, July and August are Golden Sands’ hottest months with the temperature ranging between the mid to high 20s. This is by far the busiest time to visit Golden Sands so book in advance to get a great deal.

• Summer continues into September with the temperature remaining around 19-20 degrees Celsius. If the sun is kind, the temperature can even hit 24!

• In October, Golden Sands begins to cool down slightly. If you struggle with hot weather, October is a great time to visit with manageable temperatures of around 14 degrees.

• In November and December, Golden Sands returns to cooler temperatures with the approach of winter. November often enjoys averages of 9 degrees, while December is a cool 5 degrees. Bulgaria is a great place to spend Christmas if you’re looking for a winter break!

Jet skiing, windsurfing, yachting and scuba diving are among the many water sports activities on offer for holidaymakers of all ages. Ride the ocean waves on a fun banana boat ride or learn how to dive like a pro at the PADI Deep Blue Diving Centre - it’s all on offer here!
