Playa De Fornells

You’ll probably be wondering what kind of weather you can expect during your holiday.

• In January and February, Playa de Fornells enjoys mild temperatures of around 12 degrees Celsius - making it ideal for those wanting some winter sun!

• In March and April, Playa de Fornells warms up slightly with the arrival of spring. Temperatures around this time are usually 15 degrees.

• In May, Playa de Fornells heats up to a warm 18 degrees. If you’re planning an early summer break, you’ll be pleased to hear that some days even surpass 20 degrees.

• In June, Playa de Fornells welcomes the hot Mediterranean summer with temperatures soaring into the low to mid 20s.

• In July and August, Playa de Fornells experiences its hottest weather. The peak season brings with it temperatures between the mid to high 20s - pack a higher factor of sunscreen, 30 degrees isn’t uncommon.

• In September, it’s pretty much still summer in Playa de Fornells with the temperature still sitting around the early 20s.

• In October, the weather in Playa de Fornells is still considerably warm compared to  the UK. 18 is common around this time of year - you can hardly call it autumn.

• In November and December, Playa de Fornells returns to mild winter temperatures of around 12-15 degrees.

Playa de Fornells’ golden sands and azure waters make the perfect location for a little rest and relaxation. You’ll find a paradise surrounding in the area’s hidden stretch of coastline.

Nightlife

Playa de Fornells boasts a selection of wonderful bars and restaurants where you can enjoy an evening out. Unlike the other two Balearic islands, Menorca’s nightlife is understated, however you will find nightclubs in the island’s busier towns.

Shopping

Playa de Fornells is home to a number of quaint boutiques and souvenir shops where you can pick up local goods and presents.

Trekking

Menorca’s vast dramatic landscapes are best experienced by foot. Don your walking boots and head out on an excursion of the island’s coastline.

Spend a Day in Mahon

Mahon - the capital of Menorca - is easily accessible via local public transport. The town is just a 20-30 minute drive from Playa de Fornells and is well worth checking out for its colonial architecture, museums, harbour, restaurants, shops and major tourist attractions.
