Figueretas is a small resort in the East of Ibiza, close to the nightlife of other resorts but quiet enough for an unwinding escape. This makes it a great holiday destination for those who are interested in taking part in the legendary Ibiza nightlife but do not want their whole holiday to revolve around it. And we can send you packing on a great value holiday there, whether it’s an all inclusive family resort, a self catering option or something in between.
The Figueretas beach is full of golden sand and warm, shallow waters, perfect for a relaxing beach holiday. The beach is very close to the resort, meaning you won’t have far to walk from your hotel.
There is a great fusion food scene in Figueretas. You can find a great mix of traditional Spanish food right alongside carefully prepared English dishes to keep the fussier eating family members happy.
This is the destination for holidaymakers looking for a choice. You can spend the day relaxing in the traditional village, head out to the super clubs at night and spend the next day nursing your head back in the quiet resort - it’s up to you!
The party season in Ibiza takes place for most of the summer, making it a popular time with clubbers but resorts on the island are also popular with families. With that in mind, you can expect the summer months to be much busier and perhaps not ideal for those looking for a quieter break. But with the pleasant year round Balearics climate, you can holiday here any time of year. Here’s what to expect from the weather:
December, January, February and March are the Winter and therefore coldest months at 8-16°C.
April and March start to show an improvement in temperature, going as high as 22°C and rarely dropping below 10°C at night.
June is the true start of Summer and is the most drastic improvement in temperature, quickly rising to 26°C.
July and August have the peak temperatures, reaching just below 30°C on average and hovering just above 20°C on the coldest nights.
The temperature starts to drop again in September, rarely going above 27°C.
October falls again to the low 20’s and mid teens.
November marks the ends of the 20°C days, hovering between 19 and 11°Cs.
The promenade of the resort is a central hub for shopping and dining in the area. Many local artists know that the area is popular and flock to the promenade to sell their wares or draw caricatures.
The palm fringed Figueretas beach is also great for watersports. The shallow depths allow children to play up close to the shore without worrying while the water gets deep enough close enough to the beach to indulge in more extreme watersports and diving.
Since Figueretas is close enough to the main Ibiza Town there are a lot more options available for tourists only 20 minutes away, including the legendary super clubs.
The beaches in the main town are much larger than the ones in Figueretas and have more activities available. However they are much busier too. Do bear that in mind.
There are many high quality seafood, pasta and Chinese restaurants available at neighbouring Playa d’en Bossa too.
Whatever you are after in a Balearic holiday, you can find something to meet your wants at and needs on a Figueretas holiday.
