Cala Gracio

The weather in Cala Gracio follows the average pattern for the Mediterranean. Typically, you can expect:

• January, February and March tend to fall between 8 and 16°C depending on the time of the day.

• April is when the weather starts to improve, subtly reaching highs of 18°C.

• May and June are the months in which it really starts to feel like summer in Ibiza, reaching heights of 26°C and rarely going below 15°C.

• July and August are the peak months, with the weather reaching as high as 29°C and rarely dropping below the 20°C mark.

• September is the start of a slow decline in the heat, with the maximum temperature dropping to 27°C. It’s still really great weather in Cala Gracio then though, so if you want to skip the school summer holidays and still make for a break in the Balearic sun, then September could be ideal.

• October and November carry on the decline in temperatures, speeding up a little bit to 23°C in October and 19 in November.

• December brings the weather back around in a cycle, meeting the 8-16°C range of Januray-March.

Holidays to Cala Gracio usually feature activities to match the laid back style of the resort. Water based activities, such as swimming and sunbathing on the tucked away beaches are very popular. It is also possible to hire pedalos to explore slightly further out at sea.

Scenic countryside walks are also popular with those looking for more dry activities are there are lots of gentle hills that the whole family can afford.

This is not to say that Cala Gracio is so quiet that there are no man made attractions in the resort. The Aquarium Cap Blanc is loved by all ages and features lots of interesting aquatic life, including octopuses, lobsters and eels. This is a perfect day out for the family.

Cala Gracio is also only a short walk to the bustling tourist hub of San Antonio, meaning that all of that resort’s attractions are also easily accessible to those on holidays to Cala Gracio.
