The best selection of shops, restaurants and nightlife comes in neighbouring Benidorm and there is a regular 20-minute bus service. During the day there are an array of options for fun days out for all the family. These include:
- Aqualandia was the first water park in Benidorm and it is a wonderful adventure as you take on the highest chute in Europe and plenty of other joys during the day!
- Twinned with Aqualandia, the marine animal park of Mundomar is well maintained and a real treat for the children.
- For a slower tempo to Benidorm, head to the Old Town and Levante beach. Lovely shops with a more authentic Spanish feel, it is a nice area that is ideal for a stroll.
- Looking to get your adrenaline going? The Terra Mitica theme park has great rides for an enjoyable day out.
- There is a nature park in Albir and a walk to the Lighthouse is a gentle, four-kilometre walk where you are greeted by fabulous views at the end.
