I was here back in 2017 and really really enjoyed the accommodation and was impressed by how luxurious the room was!
Now, back in August 2024 I was in another house/ part of the village and was not impressed but the room at all! Very small, open bathroom, no privacy and no at all luxurious as expected for 260 Euros per night! I expected more for the money, actually taking into account that the price more than significantly increased since 2017.
Nevertheless, the room was clean and breakfast was amazing. Thank you to the bartender for making amazing drinks. I am sure dinner at the restaurant would be very delicious as well.

Excellent spot to stay in Lagos. A little outside of the town but it's an easy and safe walk, approximately 20 minutes to the town centre.
The breakfast is very good with a huge array of options - you won't be hungry. The staff are personable and helpful.
The rooms are quiet and the blackout blinds are brilliant.

Incredible vibe, breakfast, and service. So relaxing and beautiful! Some rooms are quite a bit worse than others which wasn't obvious when we booked but after asking for a switch we got a lovely room. Easy walk to downtown and much nicer than staying there.

It's not really a village! It's a collection of houses with rooms all within walking distance, some houses are quite far away from the main facilities.
My room 69 was in a house .75km away from the house that hosted breakfast and the gym was in another house. This is quite a walk back and forth, across busy roads so beware if you're not too mobile.
My room unfortunately had a view of a derelict building on a busy road and the building was surrounded by poorly maintained streets and buildings.
On a plus note, the gym was great although an AC didn't work and the breakfast was good. I'd go back but would suggest describing it as a village is slightly misleading.

Very relaxing stay. You get the best of both worlds: a big appartement which feels like home, combined with the facilities and service of a luxury hotel: breakfast buffet, restaurant, pool, gym, spa…
The highlight were the breakfast (so much choice that we were there for over 1 hour), the dinner (quality food, friendly service, cozy vibes), and the location (peaceful and 5min walk from the beach and ponta da piedade to hike, jog, or cycle). Didn’t want to leave
