Lovely hotel, very clean. Staff are super friendly and professional.
The food is exceptional in all the restaurants especially in the Asian.
Menish at the pool bar is exceptional, I needed a cocktail with no sugar and he was very quick to make something that tasted fantastic. The swim up bar needs more stalls, as you either have to stand or kneel at the swim up tables provided. What let's this hotel down is the evening entertainment which is at best 1*. We stayed for 3 nights. First evening it was the White Party. This wasn't entertainment, it was basically you were, asked to wear white clothing and then the entertainment staff then tried to drag you up to dance. Rock Station evening was ok, but we've stayed at 3 different Riu hotels and it's exactly the same show! Surely Riu can be more creative. Then it's karaoke, this is not entertainment. Why don't Riu occasionally get some outside entertainment in. It was very disappointing.

My brother and I stayed at Riu Dubai at the end of August/beginning of September – and honestly, it was just perfect!
It was already my third visit to this hotel, and every single time it truly feels like coming home. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and were even able to check in at 7:00 in the morning – a service you definitely don’t find everywhere. To our delight, we also received a wonderful upgrade to a sea view room, which made our stay even more special.
Throughout our entire stay, the whole team was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and caring. What truly stood out was the way they looked after me when I unfortunately fell ill during the trip. The level of care, kindness, and professionalism was something I have never experienced in any other hotel before – simply outstanding!
The atmosphere, the cleanliness, the food, and the location all exceeded our expectations.
For us, it is clear: for all future trips to Dubai, we will only stay at Riu Dubai. This hotel didn’t just convince us – it amazed us, and we are so grateful for the wonderful memories we were able to make here.
A huge thank you to the entire team – you are doing a fantastic job!
Best regards from Marcel & Joshua Room 9062

Now at the hotel. 1. Good welcome. 2. The food is rich in a large variety of all types, not high quality but tasty and satisfying and nothing more. 3 The beach is excellent, clean, tidy and well-equipped. 4 The pool and snack facilities are satisfactory. 5. The employees are very nice, especially at the sports bar. 6. The room is a reasonable size. The shower is not properly equipped, lacks soaps and hand cream and other things that every hotel provides, the room is not suitable for more than a couple. The spa bed is not comfortable at all, not worth it!. I recommend that the hotel manager do a serious cleaning of the rooms! The smell of mold in the room is not pleasant at all!!!!! In conclusion, the hotel functions relatively well, needs improvement on the room, it is not recommended for more than 2 people in the room! The hotel offers a variety of food and spicy drinks of all kinds! Without a doubt, a hotel that is suitable for families only! Good luck

We really enjoyed our stay at Riu Dubai. The staff are excellent and very attentive. Our Junior suite was really lovely, however a little sparse. Maybe a rug would be a nice addition. The food on offer was of a high standard, the main restaurant is well laid out, never felt over full even during busy periods.
The sunbed options were very limited around the two swim up bar pools. We had to use the ones on the beach. No big problem, however we would have liked more availability.
Our only very minor gripe was that our mini fridge was not filled with Diet Coke, despite asking at reception several times

The atmosphere at the hotel is very relaxed, making it the perfect place to unwind. The staff are extremely attentive, friendly, and courteous – they truly make you feel welcome. Room service is excellent and always reliable.
One of the highlights of the hotel is definitely the themed restaurants, which are very well designed and highly recommended. At the beach, there are always enough sunbeds available, including umbrellas, so finding a spot is never a problem.
However, at the pool it is quite difficult to get a sunbed after 8 a.m., especially near the Oasis and Coral Bar. Many sunbeds are reserved with towels and personal belongings, but often remain unused throughout the day, which can be frustrating. Another small downside is that there is no drink service at the beach – guests have to fetch drinks themselves from the pool bars.
On the positive side, there is live music in the afternoons at the Oasis Bar, which creates a very pleasant atmosphere. The lifeguards also do a great job; they are very attentive and take their responsibility seriously.
Overall, this hotel offers a wonderful stay with excellent service, great dining experiences, and a relaxing environment. With just a few improvements around the pool area and beach service, it could be even more perfect.
