Not up to the Riu standard across other destinations. Food not great. Cold, no microwave. Desserts underwhelming. Pastries at breakfast not appetising and poor choice. Breakfast coffee particularly bad. Service amazing. View from room lovely. Entertainment poor. Football in main entertainment area when there's a dedicated sports bar, that is not on. Karaoke not great. Worst bingo ever. Shows all old from 3 years ago at least, need refreshing. Beach area lovely. Hundreds of children, parents let them run around. Going on the stage. I lost count of how many times the DJ had to stop and ask them to get off the stage. Smoking is rife. Couldn't sit outside because of it. For Dubai I expected better. Hardly any TV in English. Bathroom amenities lacking. Shampoo only refilled when I asked on the app. A la carte are buffet with cold food. Not a special night out at all. The white party was a proper let down. Some cocktails acceptable but none are made properly in a blender like the Caribbean. If you go here you need to have lower expectations than you would expect from Dubai unfortunately.

My recent 3-day stay at the Hotel Riu Dubai was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the excellent facilities. The hotel offers a wonderful range of amenities, ensuring there was always something enjoyable to do.
The food throughout my stay was also a highlight. The variety and quality of the offerings were truly impressive, with delicious options available at every meal.
What truly elevated my experience, however, was the exceptional service provided by the entire team. Everyone I encountered was friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. In particular, I would like to give a special mention to Riyaz. His assistance was invaluable, and he consistently went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. His helpfulness and positive attitude truly made a difference to my stay.
Overall, my time at the Hotel Riu Dubai was a delightful and memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Dubai, with great facilities, delicious food, and outstanding service, especially thanks to individuals like Riyaz. I look forward to returning in the future!

If I had the chance to give it 10 stars I would!
Everything in this place is amazing.
The food and drinks are delicious, the staff is so lovely, friendly, and very nice to the children. I loved how they clean the room every day and fill up the mini fridge. The hotel itself is amazingly clean too. Loved how they have so many security guards and my children could go eat and come back to the pool safely without feeling scared. The lifeguards are so good to the children and make them laugh.
Keep up the good work and I am looking forward to coming back :)

Riu Hotel Dubai is an excellent choice for a fun, relaxing getaway. Located right on the beach, the hotel offers stunning views and easy access to the water, making it perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the sun and sea. The all-inclusive package is a major highlight, with a wide range of food and drinks available all day. The buffet is impressive, offering a mix of international and local dishes, and the themed restaurants add variety to your dining experience.
The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything you need for a great stay. I loved the spacious layout and the balcony, which offered a great spot to unwind with a view. The pool area is another standout—plenty of loungers, great service, and a vibrant atmosphere. Whether you’re looking to relax or join in on the activities, there’s something for everyone.
The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. It’s a busy hotel, so it can get a little crowded at times, but everything is so well-organized that it doesn’t feel overwhelming. Overall, Riu Hotel Dubai is a fantastic option if you’re looking for a lively, all-inclusive stay with great amenities!

I absolutely loved the Riu Dubai. This is more of a family friendly laid back vibe. This is not a party hotel but honestly I feel it is well worth it. This hotel is a great value all inclusive and even with kids there I never felt like kids were everywhere.
I would say it is about 30 minutes from most of the nightlife and even if you wanted to stay in they have bars everywhere and the one near the sports bar closes at 2am.
The specialty restaurants where great. Unfortunately did not why to try the Lebanese restaurant during my stay. Snacks available all night if you miss the buffet or restaurants.
Could be the time of year I went since I went in January there were plenty of lunge chairs available at the pool and beach and kids of you are an adult traveler can not come by the swim up bars as it is sectioned off
So book it have fun and enjoy your stay.
