Great resort! Love the that there's a bus to take you to Universal. The rooms are good, pretty clean, I do wear socks around the room but I do that anywhere. The beds are hard, definitely didn't like that. The people there are so nice and really helpful. The cafeteria style restaurant is awesome, with so many options you don't need to eat elsewhere. The only thing i suggest is bring yourself soda or waters because there are sensors on the cups so you only get refills for an hour or you buy a souvenir cup. It can get pricey. There are 2 bars, one poolside and one inside and of course Starbucks. Overall well worth it if going to Universal. You won't regret your stay!!

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Universal Endless Summer Resort Dockside. As a new addition to the Universal Resort hotels, it was absolutely beautiful and super clean. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which is perfect for families. There was even a picnic table and kitchenette which we enjoyed having. I was very impressed by the unique layout (2 queen beds and a small separate room with 1 queen bed) and the size was very spacious. Great resort style pool with plenty of space to swim around. Our favorite perk was the complimentary shuttle bus to Universal City Walk and parks; very clean and we never had to wait more than a few mins at pick up/drop off. The only disappointment was the food. The staff was very friendly but lines were long and food wasn’t the best quality. With that, next time we’d just visit the cafeteria style restaurant less as there’s plenty of other options. Thanks for the great stay! (Pics: view from separate smaller room at night).

Hotel staff were great. Food in the hotel restaurant/food court was really good and a fair price.
There was only one working elevator in tower two so that made coming and going pretty hectic when everyone was going at the same time in the early morning for the parks.
Bus transportation to and from city walk/the parks was great.
Pool areas were really nice and clean, I do wish there was food offered at the pool bar though.
Recommendation to management to replace carpet near entrance in tower 2, as it is very dirty/stained and make a poor first impression when heading to your room.
Would recommend for families and friend trips to Universal.

If you’re wanting poor service, rude inattentive staff, and something on a budget /you have kids, this is the place for you. If you want a comfortable room with actual blankets, concierge service, the ability to relax in quiet, I advise you opt to stay elsewhere. This isn’t in the park. It is a 10 minute bus ride shuttle to the park. There is not lotion or body wash so bring your own. The provided shampoo and conditioner are not great. The pro is there is a Starbucks downstairs, and if you can time it out before half the hotel lines up, you can enjoy a coffee on the bus to the park. I wouldn’t stay here again, and I wish I paid more heed to the reviews about things being noisy and sub par at best. When concerns were brought to the front desks attention we were told we could leave and go stay somewhere else.

We had a lovely time staying at Dockside. The staff was great and they gave us a room away from elevators and higher up so we had no issues with the noise even though the hotel was absolutely packed with kids (there was also some kind of cheerleading competition going on at the time).
The connection to Universal parks is excellent - shuttles are waiting outside the lobby and are frequent (about every 15 minutes) and the ride takes about five minutes.
Our suite was spacious and, most importantly, clean!
Dockside is definitely a place we would return to.
