Recently stayed for a week here, had room 355 in the Executive Suites ..
Very impressed with the room, and the gorgeous view / sunsets. Staff were very helpful and polite, cannot fault them at all.
The public beach is across a very busy road, and is a shingle beach. Unfortunately there was a strong breeze the week we stayed there, making the beach quite wavy, so didn't go swimming from the beach.
Lovely infinity pool, which is the same depth all the way around. Easy access to the pool from steps in 3 locations - so ideal for anyone with mobility problems. No issue finding a sunbed, there were plenty available. There's a smaller, more private pool to the side of the hotel, again accessed via walk-down steps, which starts off shallow and gradually reached a depth of 1.3 metres. Easily accessible bars beside each pool offering a variety of hot & cold drinks (and also snacks beside the main infinity pool).
Restaurant was clean, and a good variety of fresh food daily. Rather strangely no tea / coffee is available during lunch & evening meals. There's always fries, freshly made pizza, salad, meat & fish options, as well as a good choice of bread, soup, desserts and more.
The executive rooms have a kettle, and cups - but for some strange reason no tea or coffee sachets. I just got these from the restaurant at breakfast time :)
There was a male entertainer by the infinity pool, trying his best to drum up interest for darts, and water polo etc ... also some music was played on a loudspeaker by the pool, but it wasn't too loud. Evening entertainment is from the same person, in the lobby bar, by way of Karaoke or Music requests ... there was also a music quiz one night too. The lobby bar, although it serves all-inclusive drinks, bizarrely stops serving the free ones at 2300 sharp - anything after that has to be paid for - not sure why.
Pool towels can be rented for 10 euros per person, can be changed every other day, and you get the 10 euros back once you hand them in on your last day.
All inclusive is advertised on their own website as having additional benefits including bathrobes & slippers (had the bathrobes but no slippers) and the room fridge was supposed to filled upon arrival with 1 x bottle of water, and 2 x beers (we had 2 bottles of water but no beer) ..
Tip - Catch the local bus into Rhodes town, the stop is right outside the hotel. Buy the tickets from the shop underneath the hotel, 1.80 euros each way. Rhodes old town is lovely, but ruined by numerous touts in literally every restaurant, cafe & shop.
Cashpoints, bars, restaurants, shops and even a pharmacy are all within 100m of the hotel.
Would we go again ? Yes, it was a lovely relaxing break in a lovely hotel with lovely facilities. If you can, book an executive room, it only cost me an extra £10 for the duration of the holiday, and absolute bargain. We booked with Jet2, and loved the extra legroom they give as standard on their aircraft, compared to TUI etc.

Amazing views from your hotel rooms if you have booked sea views/pool views. If you have selected half board or all inclusive there are quite a few food selections to choosd if homemade pizzas etc. Not much around the immediate area but quite easy to get into the old town around 20min drive (around €10-€12) but there are electric scooters you could use close to the hotel or a bus service that costs around €2/3 each. Also you can watch the sunset from the hotel which is spectacular 😍. Would recommend for families.

Just had a really great week at the Belair Hotel at the start of the spring season. Hotel is fairly busy but not crazy. Cheap room is clean and comfortable and not old and tatty as some reviews state. I've really only eaten breakfast which is passable. The other meals look well attended but personally I'd rather eat out. Location of hotel is fine about equal distance between airport and Rhodes city, and 20 mins taxi to the south coast if the North wind is blowing. For the price I would say Belair is great value at this time of year.

Hotel was lovely, walking area outside was beautiful. Service wasn't best at front desk and wasn't a fan of the food. Pool area was lovely.

I have given this hotel 2 stars, the reason for this is not the hotel specifically, but about an experience my friend had here. Me and my friend stayed here for a week in April 2024, and the hotel itself is lovely, food is nice and views are beautiful. However on our fifth night, my friend was sexuaIIy assaulted by a member of the entertainment team. This guy has quite a humorous personality so it’s difficult to tell when he is joking or being serious; he was chatting to us and asked us for our room number, we told him as we figured he was just joking, he was “jokingly” asking my friend to go up to our room with him, we played along with this as we didn’t for one minute think he was being serious. It soon became apparent when my friend left to go up to our room and he followed, when she realised he was actually coming to the room with her she tried to put a stop to the situation and walked away from him, he then grabbed her, kissed her and hit her on the backside and asked her to meet him in the bathroom. My friend was really shocked by this and made to feel incredibly uncomfortable. I reported this to the manager the next morning, his initial response was “go to the police” , which I thought was extremely rude, it came across like he did not want to deal with the situation at all despite this happening in HIS hotel by a member of staff at HIS hotel. After he said this to me I became quite angry and tried to talk some sense into him, I told him this is his hotel and these are his guests and that he can ABSOLUTELY do more in this situation, not only for my friend but also to prevent this from happening to any guests in the future. This behaviour is unbelievably inappropriate, not only was my friend touched inappropriately, but under no circumstances should a member of staff be trying to sleep with any of the guests. The manager did speak with him, which I felt was the bare minimum but I appreciate there’s not much he can do without proof. However his attitude when I approached him regarding the situation was very disappointing, it wasn’t until after I raised my voice in the reception that he asked me to come to his office to have a conversation, likely because he did not want any other guests around to hear what I was saying. I made it clear that his initial responses of “go to the police” or “prove it” were extremely ignorant, nobody should need to deal with se*ual misconduct, especially on a holiday, this definitely ruined my friends experience at this hotel, it’s also disheartening seeing so many positive reviews regarding this particular entertainer, I would urge women to be mindful of this review if visiting this hotel. The manager is going to speak with the entertainers supervisor and see what happens, I doubt there will be any consequences for his actions, but I do feel it is important to speak up when situations like this occur. There was zero empathy from the manager, even after my friend had came to speak to him too as this is what he asked us to do, he didn’t once say “I am sorry this happened to you” , I had to actually ASK him to apologise to my friend and appear more empathetic. Overall I feel somewhat guilty leaving a negative review as the hotel itself is lovely, however these types of situations should never happen and the way it was handled really rubbed me the wrong way.
