Stayed at this hotel recently, March 2024 and really cannot fault it, the rooms are a bit small but only used for sleeping so not a problem. The staff were all amazing, from the cleaning staff, dining staff, bar staff and entertainment staff (I am missing Alex's lovely smile!) all done a great job of looking after guests. The hotel was spotless at all times. The food was good with plenty of choice although some guests were complaining about the food I personally thought there was a good choice and I enjoyed anything I ate, I think sometimes people forget that they are not in Britain and therefore the food is not going to be the same! All in all I had a great stay and would certainly return, thank you again to everyone at Sol Palmanova 😍

Nice hotel with a lovely and friendly staff, however the food variety is quite poor as the same food repeats almost every day which can get very boring. The breakfast is alright, but I found myself not excited about lunch and dinner as I knew what to expect.
To conclude, it was a decent value for money, but there is definitely a room for an improvement for a 4* hotel.

We complained to reception with reference to the poor food labelling in the restaurant. Some food, is obvious as to what it is, chips are chips, a fried egg etc.
But to have vegetable rice with meat in, omelette with bacon, handmade pizza with a vegetarian logo that had ham inside was unacceptable. My partner is a vegetarian, not by choice but because he has IBS. So understandably, he done his best to avoid certain foods that contained certain things.
Having stayed for a total of 4 nights, as a birthday getaway for him, the whole trip was let down by something the general manager (who we managed to see on day 3) said, I can't do much about the past, so enjoy some premium drinks and stay in your room till you need to check out. We were told that nothing else could be done as "booking.com" have your money, not us. We complained to booking.com and we're still denied.
With my partner having IBS, having stomach trouble and staying in the room for most of day 3 and day 4, having alcohol was the last thing on his mind.
With the general manager herself being a vegetarian, I would have expected something more constructive and considerate. But we were brushed aside like we didn't matter.
Check the pictures reference the food. Absolutely appalling. Thanks for making a mockery of myself and my partner, and also my Nan who's first holiday since her daughter died in November.
UPDATE:
Clearly by the reply, there is no sincerity, no urgency and a complete careless lack of attention given to the points raised. Just a generic reply.

Just returned today from this Hotel. Very concerned over the lack of Management throughout with guests. Examples witnessed on and daily basis. I witnessed guests walking into the dining room No Staff on Duty to sign you in or to challenge anyone not wearing wrist bands. as NO staff on duty at the door checking on room numbers, or type of food packages, several with no wrist bands at each eating time. ONLY this morning 4 adults walked in at 7.45a.m filling bags with fruit, then returning pichin out muffins and cakes filling both hands. WHAT's going on ?????. Bar staff great but not limits on how many drinks they gave you. If your a none smoker, then you would be amazed as signs placed on stands stating no smoking or vaping just ignored. They state the following no smoking in the outside seating area, also no food to be taken out of the dining room. BOTH not supervised, i spotted 2 guests even smoking cigarettes in a corner. You may think I'm a sad sack. However when you think that paying for the privilege of all inclusive as a majority wearing the same arm bands. Then finding out that two families are eating for free, not even from this hotel, why wear an arm band as nobody checks if half board or alliclusive. Beer, all drinks and cocktails free for all to order.
I have never known anything in any hotels visited in 40 years, having such a poor lack of management skills.
Its a lovely hotel very clean, throughout the bar staff very polite as were the cleaners. Shame that the overall running of the hotel you could not help but notice the items above. Food in general was repeated for each breakfast with only some variations on dinner and evening meals. Hot food is well cooked, salads, fish, few cake choices, plenty of fruit and yoghurts, open bar helps yourself taps.
With a big drop in temperatures, speaking to guests put the air circulation units on Heat in the room. they appeared no heat from the fan systems. In general hotel was cold as quest kept coats on and wore body warmers. Sorry STAR rating is low, maily based on the poor system of working, by ignoring their own set of rules that they specify must be followed.

Great food and variety. Friendly staff. Clean room, with daily housekeeping. Book a pool view room above 4th floor for superb view of the bay and surroundings.
If you miss breakfast cos you party too hard most nights, (cough) there's a great snack bar with burgers and assorted tasty snacks. Karaoke nights are good fun. 🦻🥁🥁
Most impressive hotel.
