A bargain hotel on a ring road with a longish walk to anywhere: we clocked up over 34 miles in a week. Rooms above entrance are (a bit) quieter with lovely palms outside windows. Semi-updated but clarly run by men from another age and aesthetic. But the pool is great in hot weather (April 2024). Management, please read this: Bedrooms need 2 x proper reading BEDSIDE LAMPS, REAL COFFEE not instant, REAL ORANGE JUICE, a simple cotton BATH MAT. And poolside PALMs need TRIMMIMG, defunct stuff radically ditching - includes a Lister engine. Other than that, a functional base with a lovely breakfast man.

- best accommodation at the best price - people are fantastic and helpful - great location and weather - rooms are clean -people are more than helpful so if you need anything do not hesitate to ask for it. Definitely will return back to sunny Cyprus from the cold Sweden to this hotel.

A little tired, but amazing value for money. Pool is basic, but great. Never had a problem getting a sunbed round the pool. Bar and restaurant staff are super friendly. Next to quite a busy road, but all things considered, really great place.

Perfect for me who don’t look for the most expensive and exlusive places. Have been met by very friendly staff who has paid attention to my needs and todo’s. Been very well taken care of. The hotel is located approximately 10 minutes walk from the city center. It is not new and sleek as the far more expensive places along the coastal shore. Paphiessa Hotel is build as a part of the city and not as a satellite far off restaurants and shops and things to see. This is important. When you drive around Cyprus, you will find plenty of resorts in areas that have nothing more to offer and make you dependent on rental cars and buses and taxis. Paphiessa is nicely located for walks in Phafos, and I appreciate that. Parking available for my rental car, a charming shop and rental car service (at least signs) close by. My room was nice. Worn, but has been refurbished as many parts of the hotel and kept nice and clean by friendly staff. I had my own bathtub and aircon. I would surely stay here again.

Had a great time here last week. Muhammad is an absolute gentleman. Met loads of people and minutes walk from the harbour and town. Can't wait to go back. 😎😎
