The location was the best thing about the hotel, near by the beach and all the cute bars and restaurants.
The room itself was nothing special, but sometimes when they cleaned our room they left the balcony door and the curtains wide open instead closed like we did for the warmth.
There also wasn’t a trash can in our room, only like a tiny tiny one in the bathroom..
The all inclusive food was almost the same everyday, nothing special and not too much choices. I expected more variety for dinner and the snacks.
The swimming pool was nice if you were on time for the beds, there was another pool but that one was still closed.
The staff at the reception were kind.

Room was in need of a bit of a refurbishment, but very clean. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The town itself is lovely. Everything is within walking distance and a huge choice of shops and restaurants. The beach is beautiful and not too crowded.

Was a bit worried arriving at the hotel due to reading some of the reviews. The hotel was a good base, comfortable beds, clean and the food was okay. I think some people expect a 5 star experience when paying for a 3 star hotel!
There was meat, fish and pasta on offer each day and plenty of vegetables and salads.
We had problems with our key when we first arrived but this was rectified and I found the staff to be friendly and helpful.
Our room was on the second floor over the bridge, the room was ample for the three of us.
We found the marina and a few other beaches, including Esmeralda. There was a place were you cd get a drink and snacks.
If you want to explore there is a 'train' and for 5 euros you can have an hour ride. They are every hour. All in all I believe you make the holiday you have so decide you are going to chill and enjoy!

returned home today from this hotel today
Firstly I was on holiday alone as an older solo female.
My first impressions were that the hotel was much bigger than I thought and it was clean and tidy
Check in for me was smooth as didn’t arrive in a crowd, however never more than 2 on desk so I did notice when large groups arrived at same time it took longer.
ROOMS my initial room, was room 101, it was on level 0 right in corner and right next to the cleaners room where it looked like they took dishes and all cleaning equipment, I felt it was old and tired and although not dirty, like old and worn, also the rooms door was t locking properly exhibit worried me and the lock was broke on the patio door, not ideal for a female there alone…. I did raise issue and they sent maintainece out straight away, however it soon stopped working again….. next morning I was woken early with noise from cleaning g cupboards trolleys and cleaners. I went to reception with my grievances and asked for another room, which after a few conversations amongst themselves they got me a new room, this time on other side of bridge which I’m thinking is maybe a newer part of hotel and was a much nicer room and actually what I thought id booked, no complaints clean and tidy and much more modern and airy.
FOOD: I had absolutely no complaints about the food, I eat a mostly plant based diet and every day I was able to find something to eat, it’s not 5 star but then I didn’t book 5 star and for the money you pay i think there was plenty options. I chose not to eat there every meal as I’d came to explore and go visit restaurants, but did always have breakfast and one meal or a snack and again dining room spotless .
POOL AREA: This was my little haven, again couldn’t fault the cleanliness, every day I had no problem finding a table and seat to sit and relax with my book and a drink from the bar enjoying the sunshine.
LOUNGE AREAS: I found them clean, plenty seating areas, and bar staff all amazing.
ENTERTAINMENT : I’d booked as this hotel advertised entertainment, however on my trip i couldn’t say it was the best, but then start of season I think, and the animation team looked like they were getting trained, the kids all seemed to enjoy the party dances, that made me smile.
Being alone though it would have been good if they many e doen some bingo or something in an evening that maybe for people mingling, as being alone it would have been nice to have something to join in with that make broke the ice and got folk talking.
LOCATION: Absolutely perfect, beach right opposite ( I still never did find the underpass to the beach from hotel ) but everything is 5 mins walking distance and views from hotel to beach at night are stunning,
I’d absolutely recommend this hotel and I will absolutly be back, it’s not 5 star but I’d say it’s definitely better than basic 3 star.

At arrival not happy with the accomodation. Sunweb was not very helpful and considerate so we had not much trust in them anymore in helping us. But after talking personally to the front office of Ariep Cico all changed, they were very helpful and we could change the room or get an upgrade, off course we paid extra but agreable. So big plus for their own service and kindness. Now our vacation can begin and we can enjoy our self ! Thanks !
