The location was excellent and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was very good. The toilets / changing & showering facilities at the rooftop pool are very dated and could do with a makeover but having said that, they were clean and our stay at the hotel was good value for money. Overall, I would really recommend this hotel.

Very modern, clean, well run hotel on a beautiful harbor view. By far the best location to experience Faro. Nice gym, super coffee shop and roof top breakfast restaurant and pool. Walking distance to all the old Town, forts, museums etc. Staff are great. Transfer via van to airport is convenient and reasonable price.

Perfect location for city sightseeing, trips to Algarve and sunny chill out at the pool on the rooftop. I tried food at the rooftop bar and it was very good. Breakfast was nice, but not that special. Bathrooms could be more modern. Rooms are nice. Team at the reception very friendly and helpful!

Great location and staff are friendly.
The hotel is old, so although it has had a good makeover, it is still noisy.
This is the trade-off for location and views.
Will use it again, but only as a transit hotel.
OK for 2 to 3 nights in Faro

It's like a very large, stable, and well-run cruise ship. Not luxurious, but nearly self-contained. Superior staff (thanks Tiago), location, but facilities need a little upgrading. Despite proximity to major transportation hubs, it's surprisingly quiet, particularly if you have a view over the marina. See more complete review in attached photos.
(They also have a nice water and vinho verde refreshment selection in the lobby for guests,) for free.)
