This is a decent 4-star hotel and I would be happy to recommend it to others.
Positives:
Clean and modern.
Good location in a secluded area.
Near a lagoon and beach.
Most of the staff are friendly, especially the lead member at the check in desk.
There is evidence of daily maintenance of the hotel.
Negatives:
The room is missing bath robes, slippers and tea making facilities.
For half board, no soft drinks are included, not even water.
If the above could be addressed, I would rate it a 5.
The hotel has ample car parking when I was there (March 2024). It is also genuinely separate to the sister Meliá hotel.
I really liked the pool. By my estimates, it is a 25 metre rectangular pool, which means we can actually swim in it. The temperature was also perfect for swimming - not too hot or cold.
The breakfast and dinner buffets are satisfactory for the size of the hotel. For dinner, they typically change the "main event" each day e.g. baked salmon, roast pork, suckling pig, roast chicken, beef ribs etc. There is also a decent selection of pastas, salad, cheeses, bread, dessert.

It’s been two weeks since we returned from our 7 night stay here and we still think about it and miss it every day! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was fabulous.
Big rooms with big balconies and great views - we had an INNSiDE sea view room. Great shower with lovely smelling shampoo and body wash (in big reusable bottles, so much more eco friendly). I’ve seen some people complain about two twin beds being pushed together, but we actually preferred that. It was very comfortable, we had no problem being close when we wanted to, and it allowed us to not disturb one another if moving around in our sleep. We heard our neighbors one night, but on the whole, noise was not an issue for us. Also, plenty of storage space to unpack your bags and two big full sized mirrors.
The food was wonderful - one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever seen. Tea and coffee are included with breakfast, as are a variety of juices, water, Prosecco and DIY Bloody Mary if you want one. Dinner had a wide variety every night, with plenty of options for vegetarians, pescatarians, and vegans (although admittedly not as much as the others - but still pretty decent). We sometimes had to wait for maybe two minutes for someone to seat us, but that was also not an issue whatsoever. They take your initial drink order when you sit down and then the rest is up to you. I’ve seen other reviews complain about not being served and/or dinner drinks not being included. It is a serve yourself buffet, and there are plenty of staff available who are happy to help, so if you want another drink all you need to do is ask. And as for the drinks not being included with dinner, that’s clear when you sign up for half board, so I’m not sure why people are surprised. Handy tip - bring your own water bottle, as there are plenty of water coolers dotted around the hotel to fill up if needed, or just ask at one of the bars and they will fill it for you (the tap water is fine). We did this and never had a problem. We also bought lunch here a couple of times which was delicious. Overall the food far exceeded our expectations - we’re not normally all-inclusive people and have very high standards for food, and this place has definitely changed our minds. As there is only one restaurant for dinner it can get a bit samey, but honestly, it was great.
Evening entertainment every night at the Ginger Bar, with ample space to sit, and stretch out, and relax at the end of the day.
The pool was wonderful and had the most comfortable lounge chairs (shoutout to the lifeguard Rafael who was always such a help!). We were worried by some of the reviews that it would be hard to get a chair but again, never had a problem, and we weren’t going there until after 10am most days. Mid afternoon might be more challenging, as might be some other peak times of the year, but our experience was that there were more than enough.
You can walk directly on to the beach, and then walk for miles in either direction, which we did basically every day! For a more formal workout, the gym there has everything you need (plus a water cooler). You just need to ask for the key at reception.
If you want a relaxing, comfortable stay that’s away from everything else, this is your place. Friendly staff everywhere (especially Julia (?) and Simon and the team in the restaurant, Lorena (?) and Sacha at reception, and previously mentioned Rafael). Gorgeous location (honestly, the best we saw on our trip). Stylish and cozy atmosphere. Resident cats and hedgehogs. What more could you want? Perfect, perfect, perfect. Can’t wait to come back.

Rooms are beautiful; we had the garden ones with a sea view, which were really nice. However:
- The walls are super thin, so you can literally hear everything from your neighbors and the floor. Unfortunately, we had neighbors who watched TV very loudly, preventing us from falling asleep or waking us up early in the morning.
- The service in the restaurant is, unlike what we expect for that price category, really bad, except for one or two colleagues who always had a smile on and were happy to take your order or clear your table. Apart from that, in 4 nights, we never received wine recommendations nor were actively asked for drink orders even when our glasses were empty. Overall, the service, both at breakfast and in the evening, seemed very annoyed, which I find really unfortunate because the colleagues may not be aware of how much the service matters in such a hotel. Reading the other reviews, the stressed service is very often being mentioned so I’m wondering when and if the hotel will ever take actions on this.
- Many describe the buffet as diverse, which we did not feel, but it must be said that we have rather high standards for food.

We had a lovely stay here. We came for one week beginning of December to enjoy some quiet time and catch some sun.
The rooms are big with nice balconies and if you get a sea view one, it's even nicer with the view of the beach and lagune. The location is perfect with a beautiful beach for long walks, swims or some kite surfing.
We loved the relaxed and familiar atmosphere of the hotel. Since it's an adult only hotel the whole complex is super quiet and peaceful and has the perfect size to calm down.
We really enjoyed the food (breakfast and dinner). Super fresh, big variety and lots of choices for everyone with food intolerances/preferences (gluten free, vegan, etc.).
I especially have to point out the very friendly and helpful staff. Since our flight was cancelled and rescheduled to a few days later, everyone made sure we enjoyed our prolonged stay and offered solutions.
I highly recommend staying here! Definitely will come back!
