Whala! beach is one of my favorite. The rooms are quite spacious and match exactly like the photos shared online. 24hr reception makes this hotel very nice. The team is very friendly and always available for any need. It also has amenities like rooftop bar with a nice view of the ocean, swimming pool as well as leisure time activities.
Only thing I would like to comment that the crew entered our room in our absence, maybe for cleaning purpose but I would not recommend to do so in the future.

We stayed here Friday - Monday (12th-15th April) and absolutely loved our stay, decorated nicely, very clean, and we had a nice balcony that overlooked a pool. We paid the deposit for tv control and got money back when leaving with no problem. We got a little chilly at night but found some duvets in the wardrobe and soon warmed up. All staff was friendly, helpful and polite, also the other guests too. I loved that they had luggage storage also as our flight to go home was later in the afternoon so this really helped and meant we could go out and explore one last time before leaving and the hotel was in perfect location, close to all shops, beach, boat trips and coach trips and lots of car hire with very reasonable prices and no deposit needed near by to explore other areas. I highly recommend and would love to come stay again! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆.

Had a great 3 nights here. Room was clean and very comfortable. Only downside was our room being right next to the Air con units from the restaurant in front, so when the door was open it was audible. However, doors shut it was quiet and we both slept well.
The roof top terrace is brilliant and the drinks very fairly priced. Would definitely return.

Rooms were a good price to be right on the beach, the location is close to a grocery store, convenience store and several restaurants. The rooms are small but staff did a great job keeping things clean and making sure we had fresh towels and sheets every day. The only issue we had with the room is that there was no mini fridge,
microwave or electric kettle, so it’s difficult to keep drinks or make any food in the room. AC worked great but it did drip on the floor so we had to put down a towel. The walls are pretty thin and a lot of the guests are groups of young people, so it was a bit noisy past midnight a few times, but we were able to sleep fine. We had to give a €15 deposit to use the safe but got it back at the end, it also costs €10 to use the television remote which we did not buy. Front desk was helpful and arranged bike rentals for us, overall a really good experience! The view of the sunset from the rooftop bar was beautiful as well. The only thing we actually disliked was that we were given waterproof wristbands with the name of the hotel on them when we checked in, and we had to wear them the entire time which was annoying.

I never really leave reviews but I felt after reading some on here I had to. This is a budget 3 star hotel but the location is perfect. Not the type of hotel I would bring my kids for 2 weeks but we came alone (2adults) for 5 days and it was perfect! The rooms are small but they were clean. The view from our room was a brick wall but I was grateful because it was shaded which was ideal in the heat. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough, when I thought the hairdryer was broken (me being blonde in the end) they sent an electrician within minutes. Lady on reception was helpful and well mannered too. The cleaners work their bums off keeping rooms clean and the bar staff on the terrace were excellent. The beach is right on the doorstep along with plenty of places to eat.. I recommend 1955 on the main strip! Food was adequate, we only paid for breakfast as we like to eat out. The pool is small but ideal to cool off. I was dreading this holiday after reading the reviews but I would definitely come back and recommend it to young couples, small groups etc maybe not for a family holiday as it can get noisy but not enough to lose sleep over
