The property is objectively beautiful, but there are several aspects that need improvement, especially when it comes to the staff.
The first unpleasant incident involved a hotel manager who came to our room and repeatedly knocked and rang the bell because the “Do Not Disturb” sign had been active for more than 24 hours. Setting aside the fact that this happened late in the evening, I found it extremely invasive and, above all, disrespectful toward a guest staying in a very expensive hotel where privacy should be fully respected. At most, this kind of question should be handled when the guest comes down to the reception—not by knocking on their room door.
Another very frustrating issue was the room key cards, which kept getting demagnetized. Every time, we had to go back to the reception to have them reactivated. I understand it can happen once, but in my case it happened four times in five days, which is really annoying.
In addition, the pace at which the reception staff work is extremely slow, both during check-in—which at least happens once—and even for simple things like reactivating a key card, which takes forever. The hotel staff definitely needs improvement for a five-star property.
On the positive side, the breakfast is very good, both in quantity and quality. The rooms are nice, with comfortable beds and good-quality toiletries. I didn’t notice any other major aspects worth mentioning.
In conclusion, I have stayed in many five-star hotels around the world, and this is certainly not among the best.

I had a fantastic stay at W Hotel The Palm Dubai. Room service was excellent, and everything was always spotless, in the room, at the pool area, and on the beach. The service was truly perfect, it couldn’t have been better. I felt very comfortable the entire time. I would happily come back anytime.

We celebrated our 17-year anniversary on New Year’s Eve, welcoming NYE 2026 from a beautiful room near the corner of the hotel, which gave us a full view of the beach and the New Year’s countdown — truly unforgettable. The surprise decorations and photo collage made the moment even more special.
The hotel’s architecture and service were wonderful, with elegant dark marble interiors creating a refined atmosphere. However, because there were no bright lights in the bathroom or the room, and since in January it gets dark very early, I had no choice but to use the balcony light to do my makeup and hair, which was quite stressful.
Overall, a beautiful and memorable stay — with just one important detail that could truly make it perfect.

I recently visited W Dubai The Palm for my daughter’s birthday, and it was an amazing experience. The location, rooms, and amenities were extraordinary, but the highlight was the exceptional service. I want to specifically mention Vaishnawi at the reception desk; she did a fabulous job accommodating us by upgrading our room and perfectly understanding our needs.
The staff went above and beyond to make my daughter’s birthday extra special, and she was truly happy. The food was exquisite, and the pool bar was a lot of fun. I couldn’t stop taking lovely pictures of my daughter enjoying everything. The beach was an added bonus!
