Food was very good, we had all inclusive. I cannot understand people in some reviews, who were disappointed with food. I suppose, they must have a personal Michelin cook at home. There cannot be other explanations: food was always fresh, quality is high, and the variety is astonishing.
Swimming pools are also very nice, and the location is amazing: pure nature, a lot of hiking routes, sea and sand.
Somehow we had cleaning not everyday, as expected, but once in 4 days. Everything else was nice.

This resort was a kids paradise. My 4 year old son had the absolute time of his life. So many wonderful activities (Pirate Mini Disco was jammin'!), the kids pirate ship pool, mini club activities, numerous play areas. Beyond epic for kids.
The staff went above and beyond. Completely leaned in to Halloween. They made our stay so lovely.
We enjoyed the beach and our room was perfect for our family of 3. We even got out for solo and family hikes in the area.
Highly recommend if you are looking for a getaway with a young family.

Our family (2+1) spent there a week in the middle of September. Definitely it was one of the best hotel we have ever been. Everything was perfect. Staff and service was friendly and very kind. They love kids! The biggest advantage is location - next to the main, beautiful beach. Best view ever! 4 directed gates to the beach, so always was close to the hotel. Menu was fresh and delicious. We have had an all inclusive option, and it was worth of every pence. Food was available all day, so for example even you weren't on dinner you could eat fresh and tasty meal in the restaurant next to the pool later. Good option was always available kids menu. The desserts were amazing. The main canteen is huge, but the waitresses works sooooo quickly and was always clean on the tables. Very nice landscape architecture around the buildings. Beautiful flowers, trees etc. It is really pretty.
Just a minors issues:
The Water in kids swimming pool could be heated
The sofa bed was quite uncomfy for sleeping.
We have rent a car in the airport and there is no dedicated car park in the hotel. The public one is very busy most of the day, so be prepare to park your car on the road in some distance from hotel.
Anyway, definitely we will come there again next year. Truly recommend everyone.

We were very lucky to be upgraded to a Seaview apartment with rooftop deck complete with hot tub. The room is incredible, and so are the views. There are a lot of young families here, but we don't mind that energy/chaos. If you are looking for peace and quiet, perhaps look elsewhere. It's a bit like being on a mega cruise ship, only with cabins 10X the size and overlooking a beautiful beach.

Only 1 star out of 5: we spent a week all inclusive during the fall vacations (25.10-01.11.24) at the Vida Cala Mesquida Resort & Spa. I wouldn't
book a second vacation there!
It already started at check-in, i.e. I had to bring all our luggage (family with 2 children) to our room alone. Vacation was supposed to start differently, but OK.
First impression was confirmed over the entire vacation. The whole area is so outdated. There are building sites everywhere, much of the complex looks unkempt. The food (even if there are themed evenings) is constantly repetitive. The staff at the pool bars have no desire to work, the 3x Ala Carte restaurant dinner, we could not perceive, because there were no more free slots. The sun loungers and parasols on the beach were also all cleared away on the second day after arrival. And last but not least, at the end the airport transfer didn't work out on the day of departure, even though it had been booked - all directly via the hotel website. A replacement cab was then organized at short notice via reception and you can guess who paid for the cab driver (€150 after all)... me, of course. And today, 1 one month after the vacation, I'm still corresponding with Viva Hotels Customer Support by email, saying that I would like to have the costs reimbursed. No way. I'll keep you posted
If you want to have a nice family vacation on Mallorca. Better do it somewhere else! Cheers
