I recently rented an apartament C10 at this property, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The apartment was shockingly dirty upon arrival, making it evident that the cleaner hadn’t done their job. I paid an extra 20 euros for my cat, only to realize later that he was probably the cleanest thing in there! When I brought this up at reception and showed them the photos of the dirt, they refunded the pet fee with no issues, which I appreciated. They also offered to send a cleaner in the afternoon, but due to our schedule—and an unexpected issue with a broken wheel on our car—we couldn’t arrange for it and ended up leaving very early the next morning. The only clean part of the house, ironically, was the bed sheets.
The door of the apartment doesn’t close properly and there a lot of wind and hair coming trough/insects.
The property itself, especially the covered pool area, shows signs of neglect. What could be a lovely area feels abandoned, and the gate access from the beach entrance, which used to be open, is now closed. On a positive note, the restaurant staff was friendly, and we had an enjoyable meal there. The receptionists were also kind, but given the odd experience with our car wheel, we left with a rather uneasy feeling.
Overall, my experience was negative. This place could truly be a paradise again, but in its current state, it’s difficult to recommend.
I was hoping they’d offer a different solution to make up for the unpleasant arrival but they just limited themselves to the extra fee that I was paying for my cat.

The location is excellent, beaches superb shame about the things that let it down.
The access ramp handrail to one of the pools is not firmly fixed it is unsteady and unsafe.
One of the two entry steps to another pool is broken and removed and not replaced.
A good number of footpaths are poor and dangerous exacerbated at night by street lighting that is not effective or working.
Finally the gardens are in a disgusting state that management blame local authority water shortage laws but other resorts locally do not suffer from this issue?

Too expencive for the service. Check-in written at 15:00 but we only got to the house at 16:20 because the cleaning service is late. Wi-Fi is as bad as no WiFi .. TV signal lost for a whole day and I don’t know when it will be back. SOS kit is an empty box with moth !! The slide door is broken and does not lock .. The only good thing is the location .. NOT RECOMENDED.

Big room, full kitchen, patio with distant ocean view, free parking, near Nova and Cova Redonda beaches and restaurants. Wifi required hotspot deposit, weak pillows, restaurant has uncertain hours, dark cramped shower, beach pass did not work.

Great apartments/villas with newly renovated restaurant in the area with lots of food options. 4 pools (one ~25 metres pool). Walking distance to 3 beaches and the cool medieval castle ”the chapel of nossa senhora da rocha”. Highly recommend.
