The Royal Apollonia was an absolute dream hotel for our young family during our April stay. Travelling with three young children, including our youngest who is just one year old, we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Staff and Service (10/10):
From our initial phone conversations, the service was impeccable. The reception team, particularly Vanna and Eftokia, provided outstanding hospitality. They consistently gave us honest, trustworthy recommendations, engaged warmly with our children, and made us feel truly cared for.
Special thanks also to Victoria, Rafael, and Costas in the restaurant, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. The housekeeping team deserves an extra shout-out for their exceptional cleanliness standards; our rooms, including the children's spaces, were immaculate each day.
Dining Experience (10/10):
The buffet was incredible—always fresh, varied, and plentiful. We enjoyed over 20 meals without ever getting bored. The quality and diversity of food were remarkable.
Facilities (10/10):
The hotel has three great pools: a large outdoor pool (unheated but refreshing), a small fun shallow children's pool, and heated indoor. The hotel also has a fully-equipped gym with classes, also well-maintained tennis courts, and you can borrow tennis equipment.
Beach and Location (10/10):
The hotel's private beach offers clear, shallow waters—ideal and safe for families. The surrounding promenade provided picturesque walks along the coast, enhancing our holiday experience. Limassol itself was an unexpected delight. We highly recommend exploring the Old Marina, New Marina, Sappoloro Square for great dining, and especially the fascinating ancient city of Kourion.
The hotel team’s recommendation to rent a car was spot-on. The company was reliable, friendly, and accommodating, even allowing us a late return at no extra hassle. All transportation arrangements to and from the airport were smoothly handled by the hotel.
Overall Experience (10/10):
While primarily designed for adults, the hotel warmly welcomes children, offering plenty of family-friendly spaces as well as adult-focused relaxation areas. Even during peak occupancy, the hotel never felt crowded. Dining was always seamless, without queues or shortages.
Congratulations to the entire team, and thank you for providing an unforgettable Easter holiday for our family! One of our favourite family holidays ever, we will be back with and without our kids!

Really enjoyed our stay here with help from lovely staff. Rafael. Bimala. Kostas and Victoria all especially good. The room 515 was spotless on arrival and kept that way by great housekeeping. The general feeling was of a stylish modern friendly hotel vibe. Lovely large pool and terrace. Food was fabulous with lots of choice and themed nights. Enjoyed lounging in the bar and lounge area with occasional entertainment but not much choice of tv channels. Location of hotel was good having bus stop just outside into central limassol for 2 euros. Hotel had a relaxed and friendly vibe. Lots of space to lounge about. Shame air con was on winter mode as on hot days only blew hot air out so room was too warm. Great pool views overlooking sea made it very relaxing with plenty of sun loungers. Overall loved our time here and would definitely recommend to others.

We stayed 4 days and it was without a doubt one of the greatest hotels that we experienced.
The place itself is just stunning, well decorated and very pleasing and modern.
As well as the great facilities like the pool area, the gym and much more.
We are not the typical "big rich group", just some friends, but we experienced some very rare service from all of the workers in the hotel, that took care of everything that we needed, without looking for tips or big bills from us, big respect!
One special thanks to Mahmoud from the reception that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

The best choice for our stay in Cyprus. We chose this hotel based on the reviews and we definitely recommend it. The staff are the best. The food is worthy of a 5* hotel. Whatever we thought of, it was fulfilled. Hamdy - from the pool bar, he ensured us the best mood and maximum service every day during the time spent on the beach or by the pool. So absolutely perfection. I would just like to add some program sometimes, there are a lot of older guests in the hotel and for the younger ones I recommend going to the center. Next time we will choose the same hotel.

We were overall very pleased with this hotel, where we stayed for 3 nights.
Easy to find and with a decent parking lot, and the hotel seemed to be well kept.
I wouldn’t consider this a true 5 stars, though, as some things were missing: no one came to help us with our luggage, the reception was understaffed and there were no special considerations. It was my birthday the day we arrived and no one seemed to notice it, and no special attention was given to that. We would expect a more personal touch from a 5 stars.
Apart from those minor things, everything else was great. Our room was spacious enough even though we didn’t book one of the most expensive rooms. The swimming pool was also very nice, and you also have direct access to the beach (just a few stairs), which was also beautiful and clean (and the water was not freezing).
On the pool, though, once again you’re reminded this is not the typical 5 stars hotel: even though there are many signs indicating that ball games and floaters are prohibited, we saw kids playing with those each day and no one said anything. Also, kids are not supposedly allowed on the jacuzzi, but there they were. It’s mainly a parents’ issue who ignore the rules, but I believe someone from the staff should have reminded them that these kinds of things weren’t allowed so that the other guests could enjoy the pool more peacefully. Also, if these activities are not allowed, maybe don’t sell balls and floaters at the hotel’s boutique!…
The breakfast buffet (which runs only until 10:30; why not 11 or 11:30 if it’s a vacation spot?) was excellent! There were plenty of options for everyone and every taste, and lots of tasty fresh fruits. The same is to be said about dinner buffet, which was also very rich and of excellent quality. They had lots of salads and grilled vegetables and many delicious dishes with local and healthy ingredients. We loved every meal we had there (we had the half board option). The waiter we had every evening, Mister Costas, was top notch! 👌
The hotel is also well located if you want to take your car and visit the mountains and typical villages nearby more up north, which we did. And of course Limassol, the marina, the castle, etc.
Last mention to the gym, which I used daily and very much appreciated it. The machines were working fine, you can do cardio and train a little bit of everything, it was excellent.
So, overall, highly recommended, but I would suggest investing in a really more personal reception and experience (mind the birthdays…), have more staff at the reception and at the restaurant at night and police a little if needed the parents who forget the rules by the pool.
