Really nice course. We played off the yellows and it wasn't too long nor short. Greens were good and the fairways were good. A bit of a trek between some holes of you're walking the course but with the electric trolley it was fine. I would absolutely play this course again. Loved it.

I recently had the misfortune of playing at Morgado Golf Course in Portugal, and it was one of the worst golfing experiences I've ever had. To start, there were no golf carts available. Yes, you read that right – I was forced to walk a full 18 holes carrying a tour bag. In 2024, at a supposedly premium golf course, how is that even possible?
The course itself was in terrible condition. It was bone dry, making it feel more like a stroll through a desert than a golf course. To make matters worse, the course was overbooked to the max. I spent 6 painful hours trying to finish 18 holes because there were up to three flightswaiting at every single hole. It felt more like standing in line at an amusement park than playing golf.
As for the course design? An absolute joke. It's incredibly easy with no real challenges. If you're looking for a stimulating round, look elsewhere – literally any other course in the Algarve would be a better choice. The only challenge was trying to stay awake and get through it.
To add insult to injury, I paid way too much for this disaster. For what they charge, this is nothing short of a tourist scam. Trust me, save your money and play at one of the many far superior courses in the Algarve. Morgado is a complete waste of time and money. Avoid at all costs

This is a good course, overall in good condition. Back 9 is in the hills so the holes are a bit more fun - not to say the front 9 is bad. Played on my own, one of the first tee times of the day and absolutely flew round. Would happily play again.

Visited Morgado with a group of golfing friends purely to play the course, which was very nice; albeit very slow. The clubhouse bar and golf shop were a little on the expensive side, but overall, it was a great day out.

Nice course, very challenging for your average/poor golfer as there is a lot of water. Lovely club house to enjoy a post (or pre) round drinks in the sun.
