Here again after 3 years. Excellent value for money. Good breakfast. Well positioned apartment. Very small problems regarding parking spaces.

The Wi-Fi here, a tricky guest,
it drops, it stumbles, fails the test.
Complain once more, reception smiles,
they restart boxes, count the dials.
Yet every dawn, a brighter cheer,
the breakfast spread is worth it here.
From English beans to Spanish flair,
creative vegan treats with care.
Each day a twist, no plate the same,
a joyful start, a clever game.
The net though forced me to escape,
to coLABZ in Los Gigantes where the speeds take shape.
So stars I split, with balanced view:
Wi-Fi weak, but breakfast true.

We stayed in November 2024. Upon arriving at the hotel we were placed in the Upon arriving at the hotel we were placed in the highest room which did not have a balcony or pool view as we had booked but you could walk out to a shared space which arguably had a nice sunset. The apartment was also larger than we had booked but we thought we’d been upgraded. When we went to have a shower though, the water was pretty cold and water pressure was low. Staff came to check but said that repairs would need to be done the next morning at 8am (on a Sunday). They offered for us to shower in another room that hadn’t been checked into yet but did not offer a room swap (they were fully booked, which is interesting as we weren’t in the room we had booked). We woke up early so we wouldn’t be startled by repair people. No one came. We went to reception (who were also rude and frankly uncaring from time to time) and they told us they hadn’t come today and they didn’t know when he could come. We demanded a room change and they said only in the afternoon (after someone else had checked out). We were also never offered compensation. We hung around the hotel so we could move our things when needed and missed out on a travel day. Once we had the new room, it was fine.
We later discovered a similar review of the same experience with the top room ‘upgrade’ and water problems. It appears this hotel overbooks, places guests in a ‘broken upgrade’ room until another guest checks out and shuffles people around then. Terrible service in order to extort more money from people.
Breakfast was mediocre but acceptable. Hairdryers are available from reception (if they haven’t run out) and you have to pay a deposit. The location is good, and street parking is usually available BUT I would spend a bit more money to go stay somewhere else.

everything was great except the wifi kept stopping. we only had wifi for about 2 hours daily so if that's a problem I would recommend you book somewhere else. We had a great time regardless.

No, No and NO!
Unacceptable room service (far beyond any limits)! We have been told, that the check-out is at noon. Around 11:30am we entered our room and found all our stuff thrown on the floor on one heap. And even more importantly, our food from the fridge and from the kitchen was thrown away. All of this despite the 'No room service' table on the door! When we reported that on the reception, we've been told something like 'Yeah, we know, that was a mistake.'. I do not give a ***** whether there was a mistake or not. There were things in the room, they dispose some of them and rest they throw on the floor. This is not a mistake! On the question whether they consider OK to throw away guests' stuff/food, they said that I'm right and it is not OK. Without even a consideration of a refund of any type (a voucher would suffice), they said sorry and bye. I've never experienced anything like this before and I strongly recommend to avoid this place!
Apart from this, the hotel is nicely situated. Our room/apartment was huge and very comfortable with a beautiful sea view. Breakfast was rather mediocre and I wouldn't pay for it for a second time (not that I would ever stay at this place for a second time). The water/pipes in the bathroom were very smelly, and a smell of rotten eggs stayed in the room for a long time after the shower. Finally, for some reason, I'm not allowed to leave a review on booking.com. Coincidence? Maybe.
