Our brief stay at this beautiful hotel was truly wonderful. The thoughtful landscape design creates a relaxing ambiance, with stunning views at every turn. The rooms are immaculate, spacious, and luxurious. Service is likewise outstanding, with helpful and friendly staff from check-in to checkout. It's a genuine five-star experience in every respect. We left thoroughly satisfied and eagerly anticipate our next visit. 🤍

I recently stayed at La Badira Hotel and had an incredible experience. The hotel is stunning, with beautiful decor and breathtaking views. The staff was exceptionally attentive, making sure every detail was perfect. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, offering a luxurious and comfortable stay. The dining options were excellent, with delicious food and a great atmosphere. Special thanks to Ms. Achwek and the entire staff for their outstanding service. Overall, La Badira exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for a luxurious and memorable stay.

I recently stayed at La Badira, a hotel that touts itself as a five-star establishment. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect this level of service. Throughout our stay, I observed a concerning disparity in treatment based on ethnic background. White European guests appeared to receive more attentive and courteous service, while my partner and me, being non-white, often encountered dismissive attitudes from the staff.
Moreover, we faced a particularly distressing incident when we were abruptly asked to vacate our room in the middle of the day due to a mix-up regarding our check-out date. The staff’s response was unprofessional; rather than assisting us calmly, we were met with indifference and a lack of empathy. This series of experiences left us feeling uncomfortable and disappointed, far from the welcoming atmosphere one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. In light of the observed disparities between white and non-white guests, we were prompted to question whether this distressing incident would have occurred with white guests.
We sought to bring this incident to the attention of the management, but it was challenging to find a responsible person on the premises. After finally speaking to a manager, we were met with inaction, which only added to our frustration. Given these experiences, I would advise non-white travelers to reconsider staying at La Badira, as the disparities in treatment we encountered may detract from their overall experience.

Great hotel, loved the private beach and infinity pool. Wonderful breakfast and very nice staff. Only things that could be improved are the service at the restaurants which was sometimes slow and the pool food menu is a bit limited. Overall highly recommend and great value for the quality you get.

Our 7 night stay at this hotel has been amazing, with the service of all the staff being the key factor in making it an unforgettable experience - the hospitality is a notch above any other 5 star hotels we’ve been to.
From the beginning we were kindly greeted by Kais the concierge who has gone above and beyond for us throughout the stay. He has helped us plan day visits and ensured everything ran smoothly. Even when we had an issue with a rude and aggressive taxi driver, Kais, who had finished work at this point, contacted me shortly after to apologise on behalf of the taxi driver and inform me that his services will no longer be used by the hotel, which shows how much the staff care about the wellbeing of their guests.
Furthermore, Said & Maher, who were at the reception during this incident, swiftly dealt with our complaint about the taxi and their urgency on the matter was greatly appreciated. Along with Khawla, all the staff in the reception have been great and really had a positive impact every day.
The hotel itself is perfectly located for a quiet getaway - only a 10 minute drive to the centre of Hammamet, and has the best sections of beach compared to the other hotels in the area. Both beaches were well serviced by the pool bar staff and lifeguards, who were always friendly and provided a swift service. The restaurants are decent, nothing spectacular, but the sunset rooftop shisha bar is a nice touch, although limited options. Room service was good however, with different options to the restaurants themselves.
The only critique would be that the breakfast buffet selection is quite small but once again the staff made all the difference, particularly Nazi the waiter who would see us arrive in the mornings and immediately bring us our usual drinks to the tables before we had to say anything. The woman who makes the omelettes was also always cheerful (unfortunately didn’t get her name).
Room cleaning was regular, sometimes even twice a day, and our sea view suite was well maintained, with a larger than expected balcony. Only complaint about the room would be the tvs are quite small with only basic Tunisian channels and no smartphone connectivity.
Also highly recommend the day out to El Jem/Kairouan and the driver Ghassen was exceptional, he was passionate about showing and explaining to us anything of significance along the way, as well as becoming our personal tour guide during certain stops and communicating with locals to ensure we weren’t ripped off or misguided at any point. Also the car had wifi and chargers for any device which was a nice touch for the 5 hours of combined driving that day.
Thank you to all the members of staff for the wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!
