I felt like sharing a review about this hotel.
Overall, the hotel is not bad: the territory is large, well-maintained, and full of greenery — from roses to banana trees. It really makes a nice impression.
The food is also good, thanks to the chefs! I especially want to highlight the wide selection of fish dishes — every day there was fish in any form, plus cheese and olives — simply amazing! Very tasty 🫶
Special thanks to the bartenders as well — the cocktails were made professionally. The pools are also great.
However, unfortunately, the room we were given was a complete disappointment. Cleaning was done only every other day, and even then barely at all. The bathroom was shocking: mold on the tiles, very slow-running water, and a terrible smell caused by the mold. The room was constantly dusty — even above and under the bed there was trash left from previous guests. The soundproofing was also very poor.
The room really needs urgent renovation.
I truly hope the management pays attention to this, because it is very important.

This is a comfortable hotel for a holiday, but it does not deserve 5 stars – the level of service and food is below that of many 4-star hotels.
Check-in takes a very long time, and the staff shows little empathy towards guests arriving late at night. The process should be improved – for example, the tourist tax could be collected on another day.
The deluxe room is standard – with no signs of mold or unpleasant odors. Slippers and bathrobes are provided. Cleaning is done every two days, but towels are not replaced. Once we even received two extra towels with stains, which was quite confusing. Beach towels generally don’t need daily replacement.
The beach is sandy with a gentle entrance to the sea, but unfortunately heavily littered with seaweed, which is not cleaned. There are enough sunbeds for everyone, though the shuttle car to the beach runs rarely.
Food at the hotel is its weakest point – the selection is limited and worse than in many 4-star properties. Ice cream is available only at the pool bar, and for dinner instead of fresh fish they sometimes serve fish sticks. Coffee from the machine tastes worse than instant, and lamb or seafood dishes are problematic. During the day, bars offer sandwiches and pizza, which is a convenient option, and lunch can be enjoyed at the beach tavern.
The hotel’s location is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet – within 3 km there are fields and a power plant, so you won’t find city noise here. There is no public transport stop by the hotel, but a shuttle to the town is provided. On site there is also a small shop with souvenirs, food, and clothing.

Rooms are basic and clean, shower in the bath, so a high step over. Rooms are located around the main building, to reach the rooms you have to walk up concrete pathways some of which are fairly steep. Views however are lovely across to the next upland.

We had a wonderful stay at Kouros Palace Hotel in Kos! A special thanks to Nikki at the front desk, whose professionalism and kindness truly stood out—she made our last day unforgettable. The hotel’s gardens are beautifully maintained, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere, and the tranquillity of the area makes it perfect for a peaceful holiday. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with plenty of fresh and tasty options. The only area for improvement would be the overall quality of the food at lunch and dinner, which could be better, but breakfast more than makes up for it. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!

Comparing this hotel to western european 5☆ hotels, it would be more accurately rated as 3☆. The rooms are not cleaned very thoroughly, though the bedding and towels are clean. Also, you get one beach towel per person, which can only be exchanged once a week.
A mini fridge and a coffee machine are available in the room. The rooms are indeed nicely decorated.
Many people complain about the noise from airplanes, but in my opinion it wasn’t noisy at all.
The main hotel building has only a few rooms; all the other rooms are located around the property. Our room was on the beach, and the view was truly beautiful, but it required quite a bit of walking to get to the restaurant, which I found very impractical and not suitable for older people or those who move more slowly.
I would compliment the hotel staff for the birthday card and bottle of wine.
The cocktails offered at the hotel are the worst I have ever tried — literally poured from premade bottles. Also, the food available at the bars was extremely poor. Breakfast was excellent, lunch and dinner were quite varied, but the quality didn’t impress me.
By far the worst situation I experienced was when I wanted to borrow a corkscrew from the hotel bar, literally just for five minutes, and they refused. I had to walk all the way back down to our apartment (which was right on the beach) and then climb back uphill to the hotel carrying the bottle of wine in my hands.
Several times during dinner, a waiter interrupted us to check our room card in order to note our attendance at dinner. Guests should not be interrupted while eating — this should be controlled at the entrance to the restaurant instead.
All in all, considering the price, I can’t say I was disappointed, but the cleanliness of the rooms and the attitude of some staff members towards guests definitely need improvement.
