We had a great stay at HSM Lago Park.
The first day we requested a room change at the reception, which was taken seriously and made it happen despite the hotel being fully booked. We were very satisfied with our second room, which was quiet and big.
The mini club is run by Erika, who is kind and patient and has plenty of activities for all kids - highlight: cookie baking. Our son loved it and wanted to visit her every day. That allows parents to chill by the pool while the kids play in the playroom.
The pool is nice and there were DJ sessions in the afternoon, which we also enjoyed. The evenings are quiet.
The woman at the bar, Marga, is lovely. She was kind and generous, especially with our son, who loved spending time with her whenever she had a free minute. All the ladies in the service were attentive and always had an extra kind gesture for our kid.
There is breakfast/brunch available at the restaurant until 13.00 and some snack options (bowls and pizza) at the bar, all for very reasonable prices, so you don't need to move if you feel like spending the day at the pool. The beach is in a very short distance, just few minutes walk, and on the way you find restaurants and a café with ice cream, and there are plenty of shops and mini markets around.
We definitely recommend this place for families!!

The location is fantastic – close to everything: beach, good restaurants (like Nu), and car rental options nearby. The staff is kind and helpful. A special shoutout to Mari at the reception – she’s simply the best! So genuinely warm and helpful (not in a fake way). We love you, Mari! ❤️❤️❤️

A quick heads-up: this hotel is perfect for families with kids. So if you’re traveling with children, it’s a great fit.
If you’re coming with friends and not a fan of crying babies… well, maybe this isn’t your dream spot – but it’s still totally manageable. 😊
The breakfast kitchen is quite loud – the waiter is super energetic and friendly, but the way he handles the cutlery feels like a percussion solo 😅
On the plus side: it helps drown out the sound of screaming kids 😂
Overall, we were really happy with our stay.
Kids will be kids – but next time we might go for an Adults Only place… just for a different vibe 😉

Beautifully located just steps from a stunning beach, this hotel is ideal for families seeking a relaxed and enjoyable getaway. Check-in was smooth and efficient, setting a positive tone from the outset.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and cleaned daily to a high standard. The daytime bar was a particular highlight, thanks to Antonio, who truly elevated the experience. He poured excellent drinks, was always warm and welcoming, and showed genuine attentiveness—not just to the adults, but also to the children, making everyone feel at ease.
Entertainment was another plus. The DJ brought a great atmosphere during the first few days, and although she was absent for a short while, her return brought the energy right back.
There is a bar located between the hotel’s two buildings, which is not affiliated with the hotel. It can become lively during major sporting events, but we only noticed any noise on one evening, and it didn’t affect our overall experience.
All in all, this is a lovely hotel that offers fantastic value for money. It’s in a prime location—close to bars, restaurants, and the beach—yet feels completely safe and peaceful. A great choice for a relaxed family holiday.

We spent a week here with my friend in late September. The rooms/apartments in building 2 show signs of wear and tear but are clean and spacious: we had a big bedroom and separate living area with a fold-out sofa bed, dining table, fully furnished kitchen, and balcony. The shower had great water pressure. There's a coin laundry (washer and dryer) and small gym. The location is a few minutes walk from the beach and numerous grocery stores, cafés, and restaurants. The receptionists and cleaning staff were professional and accomodating.
Our two main issues were the noise and the air conditioning. The moving of furniture is unavoidable during cleaning (or folding up the sofa bed), but there seems to be no sound isolation or casters/pads applied to the furniture itself, so the repeated dragging across the tile floor became impossible to ignore. The same can be said for the noise from the inner courtyard/pool area: we could not sit on the (otherwise lovely) balcony due to the continuous noise of generators, rattling/clinking from the kitchen area etc. The air conditioning system is functional albeit rudimentary and adds to the cacophony, as it's quite loud even on the lowest setting.
If you're not sensitive to noise in any way, this hotel will probably check most other boxes for you.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect — just a short 4–5 minute walk to a beautiful beach, with plenty of great restaurants and cafes nearby. It’s ideal if you want to relax by the sea and also enjoy some local dining options.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to Mari at the reception — she went above and beyond to give us great recommendations on places to visit and eat, and made our check-out process smooth and easy. Also, a big shoutout to Antonio at the bar who made amazing cocktails and was always friendly and fun to chat with.
