This area services a largely German / Dutch traveler. I found the room to be great, very clean and everything worked properly. The staff is very friendly and very attentive. The location is excellent if your interests are the beach, proximity to Playa Palma, or if you need to stay nearer to the airport. I was treated upon arrival by a very nice gentleman, the ladies in the restaurant are very sweet, and the manager is always looking out on the guests. Breakfast is excellent, and dinner is also very nice.

I do not recommend this hotel at all, the situation was as follows: last night a friend and I spent the night in Palma in the S'Arenal area, since our flight was advanced and we arrived at 12:00 at night and we decided to stay overnight in one of the hotels in the area but we wanted to see first what they were like inside. We parked in front of this hotel, since there are 4* Riu hotels that you can reach by walking, when we got out of the car we entered the hotel and the receptionist was busy with clients, he greeted us and we answered him but we continued to the elevator, we went up to a third one and we saw the corridor we didn't like it at all and it smelled bad and it doesn't have the quality of a 4*, the elevator is very ugly. We went down immediately because we didn't like the decor. When we left through the lobby door the receptionist was outside smoking, by the way the whole reception smelled of tobacco, he shouted at us, which scared us and we didn't listen to him because we were determined not to take a room in this hotel, the man insisted shouting at us in an aggressive way approaching us, to answer him who we were and what we were doing in the hotel, not knowing what to answer for fear, we told him that we were looking for a friend, it is clear that he had already seen us on the cameras, and he knew that we to look, we weren't stealing, he started yelling at us in front of other people and we were petrified with the screams of Mr. P. I was about to call the police because he made us feel like criminals but i didn't, when without evidence we were only in the right to look where I want to sleep before paying. He treated us so badly that I would never sleep over in a place like that, which serves so rudely. So we decided to make the effort to drive for a hour and go to sleep at the hotel we had reserved for the morning. I think that the gentleman was doing his job, which is to make sure that everything is fine, but as a client who is doing nothing: just looking at where he is going to sleep, I have the right to see and more if it is a hotel in that area that do not have a good category. And without any proof of anything, trying to coerce a customer with screams at a reception is the lowest it can go as customer service. Really horrible. I attach photos of the hotel that we are staying at today and that we did the same, but the difference is that the receptionist at that time greeted us when we entered, we entered in the same way, only in this case we had a reservation, we returned and identified ourselves because it really is excelent the attention and the quality, the diferent between One hotel *5 stars high Level quality and this is amazing. The Hotel Riu Festival have lost some clients and their relatives forever, and we spend a lot of time on the island in the best hotels, I hope someone apologizes to us. Thank you very much

Having an amazing time at RIU festival Hetel. Very clean. Amazing staff and excellent customer service. The staff go above and beyond to meet your needs, resolve any problems and ensure that your holiday experience us one never to forget. Food is amazing, rooms amazing! Would definitely come back again.
Location is great - literally 5 minutes away from the beach, lots of bars and restaurants in the area. 20-25 minutes away from Palma on the number 25 bus. Bus stop is 3-5 minutes walk from the hotel. Easy peasy x

A big bang for your buck .The room was a good size. Balcony on street but very quiet. Great wifi. Food exceptional. Clean ++. Lovely pool area but not much sun because of buildings and trees. Short distance to the sea and boardwalk. Will definitely go again more than 4 nights .
