This was our fifth time visiting the hotel and we didnt want to leave!
The hotel is in a good area to walk into town, the resort is beautiful.
Two heated pools but spent most of our time in the fresh water ones, plenty of sun beds.
The food is ok could be better, there isn’t much other than hot dogs and pasta and chips for the kids, also noticed sprouts a couple of times on the kids section I don’t know one child that eats these.
My main shout out is to the entertainment team, without them our holiday would not be the same. My son and daughter is so excited when he see’s Pepe. Daniel, costa, Laura and the team offer 5 star service and entertainment. Daniel and costa always treat us like part of the Elba family. They work extremely hard in everything they do. Shows are fantastic and mini disco. The entertainment is spot on through the day also.
We are a party of 6 and not one of us have a bad thing to say. Other than children’s food choice. When we first originally came they did a bigger selection in the pool bar including pizzas etc. now you’d be lucky to get a full meal.
We decided to eat out a couple of the nights.
We couldn’t get in the two restaurants as were fully booked and to be honest was worried they wouldn’t cater for the kids.
The management should look at the food situation in the future. A lot of meals in sauces but I know you won’t please everyone.
This does not put us of returning as we have visited many times.
I had an encounter with a lady whilst I was waiting at reception who was complaining to the hotel and asked for the manager as her case went missing on the transfer, knowing this wasn’t the hotels fault she kicked off, she then got a free up grade, spa voucher and then saw her later on and she said she kicked off again as she couldn’t get into the Italian so guess what she got straight in, a lot of the negativity comes from people like that when things just don’t go there way, but then get what they want by been rude!
Very sad to be leaving, thank you once again for an unforgettable stay.

Positives
The room was spacious and clean, with a good shower and large, fluffy towels. Bottled water was provided daily. The adults‑only bar opens at 6pm, and the premium package includes access to a private pool and pool bar. The main pool is well maintained with comfortable loungers, and the snack bar food is actually quite nice.
Negatives
The hotel is a solid 30–40 minute walk from Playa Blanca town, although a courtesy bus does run at certain times. There is an on‑site shop, but it’s very limited. Only one lift serves the building, which can be inconvenient.
The food is a major let‑down. Breakfast is passable, but dinner is extremely disappointing. Aside from the cheese and salad, the hot dishes are tasteless, overcooked, and often unrecognisable. The crockery was frequently dirty; after complaining it improved slightly, but it shouldn’t have been an issue in the first place. If you’re all‑inclusive, expect cheap drink options, pre‑made cocktails, and limited snacks.
The hotel itself is showing its age. Many of the glass partitions are cracked and should be replaced for safety reasons. It was probably lovely when it first opened, but it’s tired now and in need of refurbishment—especially the dinner offering. I wouldn’t stay here again

Very disappointing stay – nowhere near 4-star standards.
We paid nearly £6,000 for a 7-night stay at Elba Royal Village, booking a Premium Family Suite. For this price, we reasonably expected high-quality accommodation, food, and facilities. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely poor from start to finish.
The “premium” suite was nothing more than two very basic rooms, comparable to a 2–3 star hotel at best. Facilities were minimal, the beds were single beds pushed together, resembling hospital beds, and the tea/coffee offering consisted of two sachets of cheap instant coffee, which is unacceptable at this price point.
The food quality was diabolical. On one occasion, I was served raw pork, which is a serious health concern. Meat was frequently chewy and clearly low quality.
The New Year’s Eve buffet cake was then served repeatedly over the next three days, strongly suggesting food is regularly repurposed. Despite staying for a week, our group could only secure one restaurant booking, which was incredibly frustrating.
The spa is advertised as a facility, yet it comes at an additional cost, which is completely unreasonable given the amount we paid. Worse still, it was poorly maintained, smelled of urine, and both the sauna and steam room were cold.
The gym was equally disappointing — extremely basic, limited equipment, and all of it looked and felt worn out.
We also encountered several cockroaches, both large and small, which is unacceptable under any circumstances.
Reception staff were often unhelpful and dismissive. When we asked for assistance booking a taxi, we were told to call ourselves. When we explained we do not speak Spanish and needed help, we were refused and told to “respect them in their country,” which was both rude and unprofessional.
Overall, this hotel is nowhere near a 4-star standard. Poor food, tired and unclean facilities, misleading advertising, and unhelpful staff make this a 2-star hotel at best.
We deeply regret spending such a significant amount of money on what was a very disappointing and frustrating holiday.

Just had two weeks at The Elba , the rooms were clean and spacious , nice to have seating and sun loungers set out on the patio , the food had good choices however it was all cold and we had to microwave everything and the al a carte was absolutly awful, no steak on steak nights i ended up with dried compressed triangles of lamb and my partner had over grilled sea bass, we walked out of the italian filet of beef was not that! Obviously no fault of the hotel that during our stay Lanzarote had a lot of rain, as the main bar doesnt open until 6pm there was not enough room in the pool bar and we felt they were unprepared for bad weather other hotels ive stayed at had wet weather provisions and entertainment staff would throw something together for indoor entertainment so we ended up going out a lot, as we were all inclusive poor food and poor indoor facilities ended up costing us a lot more financialy. Evening entertainment again was very poor after the childrens disco just an hour of basic repetitive shows and very poor singers, the room has a few tables but feels like a theatre. Location of the hotel was fine and that would of been a positive to return however the food entertaimment and lack of provisions have put us off
