Great hotel, fantastic staff who can’t do enough for you and work tirelessly to ensure you have a great holiday. Fantastic evening entertainment, nice food, would recommend the Mexican we ate there on Christmas Day. Great facilities and lots to do in the day. Our two rooms were a little dated, but location made up for this, right on the beach.

Our stay at Desert Rose Hurghada was nothing short of amazing! While the resort itself is stunning, with its pristine beaches, lush gardens, and excellent facilities, what truly stood out were the incredible people who made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Whether it was the friendly reception team, the attentive waitstaff at the restaurants, or the cheerful housekeeping crew, everyone exuded kindness and professionalism. A special mention goes to the activities team, who made every day exciting and fun with their contagious energy and enthusiasm. They treated us like family, making sure we felt included and had a great time. The genuine care and friendliness of the Desert Rose team truly made our vacation memorable. They embody the spirit of Egyptian hospitality and left us with a lasting impression. We can’t wait to return to this little paradise and reunite with the wonderful people who made it so special. Our Perfect Getaway at Desert Rose I recently had the pleasure of staying at Desert Rose Resort and I can confidently say it was one of the best vacations I've ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff made us feel right at home. They greeted us with genuine smiles and provided impeccable service throughout our stay, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The resort itself is nestled in a stunning location, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful landscapes. The attention to detail in the design and maintenance of the grounds is clearly evident. There are plenty of serene spots to relax, whether it’s lounging by the pool or enjoying a good book under a palm tree. One of the highlights of our visit was the breathtaking beach. The soft, golden sands and crystal-clear waters created a perfect backdrop for relaxation and fun. We spent our days sunbathing, swimming, and taking leisurely walks along the shore. The beach is well-maintained and never feels overcrowded, giving it an exclusive feel. Dining at Desert Rose Resort was another experience worth mentioning. The variety of places to eat offered something for everyone, with menus that celebrate local flavors and international cuisine. Each meal was delicious, and we especially enjoyed dining al fresco while listening to the gentle sound of the waves. Overall, I highly recommend Desert Rose Resort to anyone looking for a delightful getaway. The combination of exceptional hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and numerous activities to enjoy makes it a perfect destination for relaxation and recreation. I can't wait to return to this little piece of heaven!

Food was great with different options and well-cooked. For me this was the highlight. There were many activities, which makes things more interesting. As an improvement, they should publish the schedule a day in advance. Service was outstanding by everyone. The room was a bit old and should get renewed, specially the toilet (no toilet brush or hose, hair drier without hot air). The place is well-maintained.

Our stay at Desert Rose in January 2025 (Room 4338) was excellent and truly deserving of its five-star rating. Here’s a simple breakdown of our experience: Cleanliness Spotless! The staff were cleaning around the clock, ensuring the entire resort was immaculate. Staff Every single staff member was incredibly polite and attentive, making it hard to single anyone out. We built great connections with the teams at the Sunset Bar, Pool Bar, and Bella Vista. • Sunset Bar: They really went above and beyond to look after us. • Bella Vista: This was the heart of the hotel for us. The team there treated us exceptionally well. Night Entertainment The show team was fantastic! Their performances were professional, with talented singers and dancers providing top-notch entertainment every evening. Food The food was perfect—hot and fresh every time, which is rare in hotels. We stayed for ten nights and never struggled to find variety, unlike other hotels where meals can feel repetitive. • The Adults-Only Dining Room was a highlight, offering a peaceful atmosphere with excellent staff service. Room Our room was spotless and cleaned daily. We had a minor issue with the fridge freezing drinks, which was promptly fixed. If we had to nitpick, the bottom of the shower screen could use a deep clean, and hot water took a while to heat up. Hotel Grounds The resort was absolutely stunning, with flowers and greenery everywhere. The pools were pristine, and staff were always friendly, greeting us with smiles. Building Works There were some final touches being made to the new reception and facilities, but these caused no disturbance at all, even with our room nearby. À La Carte Restaurants The à la carte experience at Fatoosh was underwhelming. It felt rushed, with no option for non-smoking seating, and the food was served without confirming who had ordered what. This was the only disappointment in an otherwise flawless experience. Overall Desert Rose is a paradise in its own right. We would absolutely return—so long as the prices remain reasonable!
