Don’t even know how to start when it comes to the wrong things about this resort. After checking in, the bathroom was full of long hairs which was truly disgusting. Called the reception and they completely ignored that! Generally, service throughout the resort is consistently bad especially at the main restaurant which is almost unbelievable that it belongs to what supposed to be a 5-star property. This tells you a lot about the type of the management running this place. Location isn’t on the marina and you need a shuttle bus to get there which is very inconvenient and literally makes you in the middle of nowhere. Food at both breakfast and dinner was below average and something you would get at a 2-star hotel. Spa is nice but not appealing enough to come back to this resort for. You can still visit even if you are staying at surrounding resorts because it’s chargeable anyway. Good luck trying to find a reason to stay here for.

Yasmina Ouriaghli El Ouali

This hotel was amazing, the room had all the things that we needed and an amazing view to the huge pool. There was a shuttle bus every 10’ to go to the private beach, and the breakfast was delicious. But what have made our stay special was the staff, from all the departments, they were friendly, nice and always avaliable for assistance. We want to thank specially to Ahmed from F&B he was so nice with us!

It was a good time till it ended with a big thing, STOLLEN JEWELRY. That costs a huge amount of money. And the hotel management were not that much helping. Telling will keep u updated. Which was so weird as a reaction for such an accident. Asked to check the security cameras but always a ridiculous behavior. I guess they knew who did it and never wanted to mention who and our JEWELRY never showed up again. Even police made us signed paper that we found it just to let us and all the group go home. Security there is not as we were hoping. Even the idea of compensation was never mentioned from their side. So bad And we still want our stuffs back.

Upon entering our room, we immediately noticed the ventilation was unclean. We checked three different rooms, and all of them had dirty sheets with hair on them. We urgently need the General Manager to contact us. When we arrived, Mr. Abanoub claimed they owned the world’s most renowned spa, but the hotel facilities certainly do not live up to that standard. It has been over two hours and we still haven't been given a clean room. Additionally, when Miss Duaa ( hotel staff and PR) inspected the sheets, she was shocked and repeatedly asked, "What is this?" She then offered us the Executive Room in a condescending tone. I told her to be respectful, as my expectations were already low but I never imagined they would be this low. Oh and the executive suite toilets was even more unclean than the first one ! Bottom line don’t think my review will change! I paid full stay and I thought maybe help instead of anyone falling into that trap! Save your vacation!!

The Cascades Resort is a holiday haven in the Soma Bay complex. Highlights include pristine golf courses and a stunning sandy beach next to the Sheraton beach, just a five-minute shuttle ride away with shuttles circulating every ten minutes. There is easy access to a jetty that leads to a fascinating coral reef, perfect for snorkeling and diving. As a quiet golf hotel, the Cascades offers a beautifully maintained course perfect for enthusiasts with complementary intro session. The world-class spa and thalasso center provide rejuvenating treatments. On the cons side… Although the food selection is adequate, it fails to impress at 5* level. The entertainment is virtually nonexistent. The rooms are well maintained and clean but slightly dated. With its serene ambiance, friendly atmosphere and top-notch environment, the Cascades promises a memorable and relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!
