Our week at Hotel Rey del Mediterrani was nothing short of magical. Visiting during the festival, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and kindness that set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The staff—every single person—was a delight. Friendly, kind, and always ready to help, they made us feel at home instantly. They truly went above and beyond, answering every request with a smile and showing such genuine care that it warmed our hearts. It’s rare to find a team so dedicated to creating an atmosphere of comfort and happiness, and we are so grateful for each and every one of them. The restaurant was simply perfect. Every meal was a joy, with fresh and beautifully prepared dishes that made dining a true pleasure. The service was impeccable, and every detail was attended to with care. The hotel itself was always spotless, and the room service was exceptional, making sure we were comfortable every step of the way. No request was too small, no detail overlooked. Everything about our stay spoke of the hotel’s commitment to excellence and genuine hospitality. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for giving us a beautiful, restful, and joy-filled week. Great hotel. Lovely and clean inside. Other residents seemed really nice too. No rowdy people. Entertainment was great. Some of the bar staff were a bit miserable looking. Lots of people playing cards in the evening and enjoying the free drinks. Buffet wasn’t great for vegetarians / vegans. The dishes weren’t marked vegan/ veggie/ gluten free / nuts etc Although there was a sign saying vegetarian it was only vegetables and chips. No veggie protein. There was a good variety of milk / plant based options at breakfast time. The pizza wasn’t very good and not always veggie either. The pool bar was frying chips beside the chicken burgers. But the chef said the chips in the self serve were made in the kitchen. The cakes were outstanding. Some nights had a chocolate fountain with fruit and candy. Other nights had children’s sweets. Good fun. The hotel allowed people staying there to be in the reception area without shoes / wearing swimwear and men with bare chests. Nobody wants to see that. Also you have to ask for an iron and ironing board and return it at check out. I would of thought a hotel like this would have had them already in the room. Reception staff were nice bar one who was really unhelpful. One guy with longish swept back grey hair was incredibly helpful and kind. Our bus wasn’t picking us up till late. Our all inclusive band lasted till 3pm. We were told we could use the spa for a shower and have free towels after we checked out. This was a good service. The bus service was good although busy. Not too long a walk to get there and the bus took contactless payments. The pool water felt a bit oily on the surface. Probably from all the sun cream in it. It was also incredibly cold. I couldn’t see any safety staff or lifeguards. Unless the guy who did the beach towels doubled up as this. Disabled access to the pool and hotel was good and included a ramp and short steps. The edges of the steps inside and outside need defining as it’s hard to differentiate them. We arrived in the rain and the marble outside and on the ramp was very slippy. I’d go back to this place if I was going there again.

Overall really nice hotel with lovely staff and lots of activities. Lovely food too. Only downside is that for a whole week of our stay we could not get a bed at the pool as towels were already placed on them by 06:30 in the morning. Beds are also extremely close to each other I guess to try and accommodate the number of guests but surely nobody wants to touch someone else while sunbathing. Hotel could do a little more to ensure guests are not violently bitten by mosquitos all evening especially around the pool/entertainment terrace.

Good clean rooms. We were all inclusive. Food was of good variety and quality. Many drinks were branded. The only loss in starts was the view. Ideal would have been a little more picturesque.

This hotel is lovely and clean with a beautiful pool area and good spa facilities. It's worth noting the gym and sauna are only open 8am-8pm and the breakfast opens from 8am too - these are two things we'd have liked to have known before staying. The pool area also ends up in the shade by around 5/6pm and the balconies tend to be in the shade too - we had a view over the mini golf course but there's no sea view. The pool view rooms would be good for watching the evening entertainment but would be loud if you weren't interested in this. The hotel is also around an hour away from places such as Soller, Deia, Cala D'Or and the Port of Alcudia is a short drive away - with this in mind, its worth having a hire car to get around (if you do want to explore a little bit). The town of Playa De Muro doesn't have much going on, the beach is nice but we found it too busy. We would also recommend going for bed and breakfast or half board - the evening meal/buffet is varied but not authentically Spanish. AI works out at £40pp per day, but we went HB and ordered a few drinks each day (beside the pool or in the evening) which came to £90 overall. Hope this helps anyone else booking!
