Pros:
• Great location, close to the main areas.
• Adults-only, so the atmosphere stays calm and relaxed.
• All-inclusive offers much better value than half board.
• Rooms are very clean and have a fresh smell.
Cons:
• Food has very limited options, often overcrowded, and mainly suited to mid-age British guests.
• Overall food variety is poor and feels repetitive.
• Entertainment is basic, and many guests choose to go out nearby instead.
• Sauna, steam room, and indoor jacuzzi cost an extra €14.
• Only one proper swimming pool; the long pool is the only one that feels like a real pool.
• The “second pool” upstairs is extremely small and more of a glass infinity feature than a usable pool.
• Half board offers poor value since you still need to buy water and drinks.
Tip:
Skip half board — bed & breakfast or all-inclusive gives you far better value.

This was my second stay at the hotel, and I'm enchanted again. A fantastic hotel in every respect. Very tastefully decorated. Located on the promenade with a beautiful view of the beach. The room with a jacuzzi and sea view is simply stunning. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great job by GEM, Mrs. Gemma V. Thank you for everything. Contact before arrival, a very warm welcome, and help with everything made us feel special and very comfortable. Delicious food in the restaurant. A diverse selection of restaurants, both elegant, buffet-style and a fantastic Sports Pub – open to hotel guests and all other tourists with access to the promenade. You can simultaneously eat delicious food (the burgers are simply fantastic), enjoy an elegant drink, watch a sporting event or performance, or simply sit by the promenade. I can't wait to go back there.

Barceló Teguise Beach – Adults Only, Lanzarote
Winter Sun Break | All Inclusive | Adults Only
We booked a last-minute winter sun break with Jet2 for myself and my husband, specifically looking for an adults-only, all-inclusive holiday – and from check-in to check-out, we felt completely spoilt and relaxed.
First Impressions
We were greeted with a welcome drink on arrival – orange juice, cava, or both! A lovely start to the holiday.
Throughout our stay, all staff were extremely attentive, friendly, and professional, wherever we went in the hotel.
Our Room – Junior Suite
We stayed in a Junior Suite with a partial sea view on the side of the hotel. With the high winds during our stay, this turned out to be a perfect sun trap – we felt a full front sea view might have been colder.
The room was very spacious, featuring:
• Living area with sofa, TV, wardrobes, fridge, and tea/coffee facilities (including kettle)
• Separate bedroom with a super king bed, TV
• Large bathroom with shower, toilet, and vanity area
The wrap-around balcony was fantastic, with two sets of patio doors:
• One off the living room with table and chairs
• One off the bedroom with an outdoor spa bath
On our first morning, I requested a sunbed for the balcony, which was delivered very quickly.
Buffet Restaurant
The buffet can get busy at peak times, but there are plenty of tables and food is constantly replenished.
• Dinner: Excellent variety of British, Spanish, Italian, and Asian dishes. The sushi station was my favourite.
• Breakfast: Great selection of hot and cold British and Spanish food, plus cava.
Highlights were the poached egg station with salmon and cream cheese on Spanish bread, and the pecan twist pastries.
Breeze Pool Bar
Included in the all-inclusive package.
• Drinks: 10:30am – 6:30pm
• Food: until 4:00pm
The menu was very good, with favourites including the tuna poke bowl, Caesar salad, and Breeze burger.
Pool Areas
• Main Pool: Plenty of sun loungers and a few cabanas. Thick, fluffy pool towels (one change per day using a pool card). Activities Monday to Friday such as bingo, shuffleboard, and sangria making. Music was present but not too loud.
• Infinity Pool: A beautiful, quieter area overlooking the beach with additional sun loungers – perfect for relaxing.
•
Champs Sports Bar
Included in all-inclusive and open 12pm–12am (food until 9pm).
Located in the lower part of the hotel and open to the public, so children are present here. It gets very busy when popular Premier League teams are playing.
• Sports shown all day (mainly football)
• Pool tables and arcade machines (chargeable)
• Excellent food selection: tacos, nachos, burgers, steak, fish, pizza, and delicious brownies with ice cream
• Evening entertainment from 10pm (too late for us, so we didn’t attend)
•
BLounge Cocktail Bar
Included in all-inclusive.
A cosy bar ideal for evening drinks, with entertainment most nights from 7:15pm. We enjoyed blues and Motown singers, plus a fantastic saxophone and flute musician.
It’s a small area, so arriving early is recommended to get a seat.
All Inclusive Experience
The all-inclusive offering was excellent, with branded drinks, not just local spirits. Food was available throughout the day, up until 9pm during winter.
Location & Weather
The surrounding area is great for walks along the seafront.
It was quite windy during our stay, with a few rain showers – locals said this was unusual for the time of year.
Tip: bring a jumper, especially for evenings.
Overall
A fantastic adults-only hotel with excellent food, attentive staff, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. We would happily return and would highly recommend it for a peaceful winter sun break.

A Truly Fabulous Week at Barcelo in Teguise Beach.
We recently returned from a fabulous week-long holiday at this hotel, and our experience truly exceeded expectations. It was a stay defined by exceptional service, fantastic dining, and wonderful amenities.
The entire team deserves recognition; the staff were universally attentive and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. As half-board guests, we were constantly impressed by the dining. The food choice was amazing and everything was great tasting. The accompanying drink selection was more than adequate, featuring some excellent wines, all of which were very reasonably priced.
The pools and amenities were great, offering plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Although we did notice some people reserving sunbeds quite early, we personally didn’t encounter any issues securing a comfortable spot by the pool throughout the week.
Our room was perfectly adequate and spacious, providing a comfortable sanctuary. We must admit to having a slight chuckle over the slightly quirky design choice of having a hot tub situated right next to the bed, but it certainly added a unique element to the space!
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would certainly love to frequent a Barceló hotel again based on this experience. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at the Barceló Costa Teguise Beach and had an amazing experience! The highlight of my stay was definitely the incredible staff, who went above and beyond to make our visit special. A huge thank you to David, who was instrumental in helping my partner with his engagement plans to me. The thoughtfulness and attention to detail were truly appreciated and made the moment unforgettable. Besides the exceptional service, the hotel itself is lovely, with great amenities and a fantastic location. I highly recommend Barceló Costa Teguise Beach for anyone looking for a memorable and heartwarming getaway.
