Don't choose the Premium club option! On the website it seemed like the Premium Club had a lot of advantages, but honestly we didn't receive any special treatment mentioned. Only after asking for a late checkout, this was offered, same for the minibar. A pillow menu and a special area in the restaurant were never mentioned. The wellness centre was closed, so the additional discount here was also not a benefit.
Apart from these non-existing extras, we heard there was no buffet for dinner but it was a la carte (noodles or lasagna), and the noodles were drenched in oil and the lasagna was cold. The chocolate cake was more a cookie-pudding with some chocolate sauce over it.
The airconditioning didn't work properly - we felt like it only blew warm air, so it was permanently very hot and humid in our room. We had to open the window all night to get some fresh air (letting noise and light enter). The tv didn’t have internet. Also, there was a screwdriver on the floor in our room.
Upon arriving, nobody offered to help me carry 2 heavy weekend bags to the elevator, even though I was 7 months pregnant.
Also, drinks are not included in the half-board option (not even water), and the parking costs €15. And finally, the hotel is really in the middle of nowhere so there's not much to do to actually enjoy the days.
We stayed here in february 2026.

This didn’t feel like a four star hotel - maybe a three star at most. The hotel is very tired and dated. It doesn’t look like it has been renovated for years (or at all!). Dark and dingy.
Having said that the positives were that we had a large deluxe club room with sea view that had a very comfy bed and bedding and an enormous bathroom with jacuzzi bath - very nice. The breakfast was also great. Large choice of food and high quality. Even included freshly squeezed orange juice. Staff were friendly and helpful
We booked club level and that was a waste of money. The only real benefits were some soft drinks in the room on arrival and a later check out time. There is a lounge but it’s only open 11-1 and a private pool but it’s in a small enclosed area. Not nice. The main pool is better.
I’d come again for one night only and not club level if I found a cheap deal. I wouldnt want to come here for a week on holiday - too dated and too far from the beach

A car is needed if you stay here. It is opposite a golf course so might be convenient but otherwise it is a good 15 minute walk to get to any restaurant/shop.
Breakfast was excellent, excellent choice dining area very clean and tidy.
However I felt it lacked atmosphere. Pool okay but other Barcelo hotels are better.
Parking is €15 per day, a bit steep if you are a resident there.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my wife. The rooms were fine, slightly dated, but functional. The breakfast staff were excellent, and the pool area was decent, although the broken handrail was a safety concern, and I nearly injured myself.
I requested a late check-out due to our late flight and agreed to pay a €50 fee. However, I later discovered that the hotel charged my card twice, despite assuring me that the first payment had been cancelled after an error. When I reached out, the hotel insisted there were no discrepancies.
It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle. So, the hotel can keep the extra payment. Hopefully, it goes toward fixing that broken pool handrail.

Not bad, but a number of details that should not be: pool was still closed at 11:15! They give me a wrong room (which was occoupied), some food was out of stock during breakfast / lunch, nothing to clean toilet, issue wiht one of the power outlets...
