Just came back from a great week at Akti Palace. Arrived mid evening to a glass of Prosecco, the staff were very welcoming. We had a deluxe suite, it was very large and modern. Cleaned every day and mini bar stocked every day if needed. Only downsides were that the bathroom could do with an update, and glass doors replaced for privacy. However, the room was great and A/C worked very well. Food was surprisingly good for an all inclusive, lots of different options and the a la carte restaurant were great. Slight downsides however were 1) plates could be cleaned better; 2) service very slow for hot drinks in the morning, would be better if there was just a coffee machine. Pool and beach were amazing, really relaxing locations, never had to fight for a sunbed and always available throughout the day. Snack bar served amazing gyros every day. Drinks were OK, cocktails were nice but pre-made and unlikely to give you a buzz. Great transport links into Kardamena, and can get a bus to Kos Town for less than €5 one-way. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely return.

My family (all 16 of us, 12 adults & 4 children) loved it here.
4 couples were able to get our rooms altogether on the ground floor apartments so we had a pool to ourselves that the rest of the family in the same block could use.
Selection of food was yummy and the children enjoyed the kids entertainment in the evening over the sister site (Akti Beach Club)
Also the hotel kindly booked us into their smaller dining restaurants, Greek and fish, around 6 plates each - we were very full!
Beach activities are included (expect extreme like parasailing, they are at an additional cost). Check weather before booking as if it is too windy then it will have to be arranged a different day.

I would like to make an amendment to my last comment. I have very recently discovered that some popular intentionational spirits are available including Bacardi and Vodka , hence they can also provide excellent cocktails.
A whisky is available that is of good taste and 40% alc I really liked as a whisky drinker.
Tonight I visited their select Greek fish restaurant .
I asked for their best red wine but it was only 12.5 percent alcohol and tasted ok but weak in alcohol.
My first course was ok as a starter consisting of olives , a seeded bread stick and various dip.
The second course was a salad of what seemed like red cabbage , grated carrot , red onion and another and lettuce !!. and muscles, something I don’t like. Another plate contained tomato, cucumber and feta cheese
Then came another course of lobster tail, scallap and red cabbage. Only problem was that I had no clue how to eat the lobster. As an inexperienced lobster eater this posed difficulties and very messy. By this time I had lost interest in the whole Greek fish meal experience, so much so that I walked out of the restaurant and went back to the main buffet restaurant where I was guaranteed to get a good meal.
I may have been wrong with my action but I was definitely wrong with my expectation of my experience for the Greek fish restaurant experience. Very likely I will cancel my bookings for the Chinese restaurant and Asian meal restaurant, I don’t want to have the same feeling. Again , maybe a wrong choice but my heart tells me it is the right choice. The main restaurant has some great food choices to my liking. I think I have been spoilt by my wife’s beautiful authentic Japanese meals.
On the plus side , today I was given a bigger room with a sea view and most importantly a bathtub . I am pleased to say the hotel management do their best to help customers get the best out of their holiday, I just think there could be a slight improvement i.e to also have a real ale beer available and not just lager, well that is my dream we can all have a dream !?

Great hotel, and excellent choice of food throughout the day. I personally don't think our room was 5* - no water a couple of nights for shower and walk-in shower didn't drain very eell.
Beds were lovely and clean and mini bar refilled everyday. Unfortunately I hurt my back whilst there so went for a massage which was so nice and did help me. I would recommend hotel to friends but I would rate it as a 4*.

Just ate in the fish restaurant 19.09.24 can't praise it enough. George the host was super friendly and professional. The food was outstanding. All in a very laid back atmosphere with the personnel touch. Thankyou Akti palace.
