Before my trip, I was a bit concerned about staying at this hotel, mainly due to the negative reviews I had read. However, I was pleasantly surprised once I arrived.
The hotel is huge, and at first I was worried that there are only five elevators, but during our stay (early April), this didn’t cause any issues at all.
The rooms were very clean and a good size, and the bathroom was perfectly acceptable. The only downside was the lack of a kettle in the room. Housekeeping was done daily, towels were replaced regularly — no complaints there.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Communication was easiest in Spanish or German, but they managed in English as well. Everyone was cheerful and polite.
The food was tasty, although after 10 days I started to miss a bit more variety and a broader selection of local products.
The pools — both the outdoor ones and the indoor pool with saunas — were excellent. Definitely a strong point of the hotel.
The biggest downside is the lack of parking. There are only 8 spots available, which is not enough for the number of guests. In reality, you have to search for parking around the town.
Overall, I consider my stay a very pleasant experience. I suspect that in high season, my opinion might be slightly different due to significantly higher prices (up to 100% more than in April), but I still think I can recommend this hotel.

We are coming to the end of an incredible 5 night stay here at Tonga Towers and we have loved every second! Booked to celebrate our joint 40th birthdays, we were upgraded to a suite and the room was phenomenal. All inclusive was great, amazing food, good drink choices and plenty of variety. The sky bar is a great adult only getaway to soak up some sun. The spa is a relaxing haven and the general cleanliness of the hotel is 5 star!! Special mention to Jordi, David and Ezekial on the bars for amazing service and the best coffee, pina colada and especially *dos black russian* we ever had! We will be back and thanks again for a great stay!

Family if 5 review grandparents, parent and 8 year old.
Needs more entertainment in evening.
Food is very repetitive/ no meals a bit of a pick and mix.
Food could be warmer. Nice salad selection and some nice soups.
Lovely pool area, good football pitch for kids and small slide area for infants.
Nice staff in bar and reception!! Lovely big rooms and large beds and leavargee bathrooms.
Good drinks at reasonable prices.
Enjoyed our stay thanks

Been here twice now. Love the hotel and the facilities are perfect for a young family. Decent food options and things to do. A nice 10-15min leisurely walk to the beach. Good facilities nearby with a choice of supermarkets, fuel stations etc. Only downer is that transfers take ages from the airport so we opted for taxis 2nd time around which is about a 50min journey and costs about €100. All together worth it though and us returning twice is good endorsement.

Clean rooms, which are cleaned daily if requested.
Depending on where the room is located, it can be noisy.
Especially because of the evening program.
Fortunately, we were able to change rooms after complaining.
The breakfast is very extensive and there are fresh egg dishes.
There are a few elevators, for the number of rooms there are longer waiting times.
The parking situation at the hotel is inadequate, but you can find parking spots in the side street.
The hotel has its own small Spar supermarket on the premises for drinks and snacks.
The pool area was very nice, although the water was cool at the end of September.
You have a great view from the rooftop.
The service at reception was very dependent on the staff, from friendly and helpful to unfriendly.
For people who like resorts a great recommendation, those who like it more heartwarming should look elsewhere.
