Avoid this hotel!
Food and drinks: The food is not good and not kept hot. After paying all inclusive would have expected some snacks during the day… only provided with some tiny stale rolls. The drinks tasted watered down.
Staff: Honestly some of the rudest, grumpiest hotel staff I have ever come across! The bar man at the piano bar was the worst. The exception to this were the kids entertainment staff and the nice blonde lady at reception!
Pool and spa: The pool would have been nice if it weren’t for the floods. The hotel did not put up any information as to it being closed or that guests could access the spa had to work hard to find this out. The spa is okay but needs some TLC.
Location: Up a hill from the town
Rooms: Shabby, dated and smelled musty. No facilities in room.

So we describe the hotel... huge space inside, lots of plants and glass walls thanks to which we have blue sky and garden when sitting inside and it's great. 2 bars offering a lot, restaurant with a rich menu but many dishes are not too hot... they are simply not warm enough. A plus is a different cuisine from another part of the world every day and this is additionally not as the main menu. Service very helpful and friendly. For us the hotel is only for the night, breakfast and return for dinner so during the day we are not there but considering the location not too much in the area to have fun. Evenings are interesting, music, DJ, classics... depending on the day and this is another plus. The pool is large and clean everywhere, the rooms could be a better standard but it is a huge and old hotel so it would not be cheap to renovate it... I think that this 4 star hotel has one star too many. Generally ok. For our time it was ok.

We went on holiday here just before and the start of Easter half term. we found the entertainment amazing and cant express how unbelievably spectacular the entertainment team were; they did a very good job and encouraging you to participate in the activities and took the time to form great relationships with everyone: stopping to talk and even remembering many peoples names. we did find on rainy days the hotel could approve as on our last day it rained and once it cleared up we discovered one of the inside bars and the pool bar was closed making people sat out by the pool having to get dry and changed to get a drink. Overall we did have a lovely time with a special thanks again to the entertainment team for making our stay special and rememberable.

Rooms were dated, hotel was unclean, we had no power for 2 days, heavy rain washed clay into the pool and put it out of bounds for our holiday not the hotels fault but the way they managed the situation was really poor. The staff were extremely rude from day 1, unhelpful with no communication and really bad attitudes.the food is shocking here, bland, cold and the same meals everyday. They try to charge you extra for everything, we were all inclusive and had to pay for drinks cups that we had to use for the whole trip or we'd have to buy more, they were charging for cake by the pool, food in between meals is non existent and they don't even put ice cream on for the kids, we were charged for towels as well, there was a whole bar there that had no free all inclusive drinks in and that was the only bar that had TVs with sport, the entertainment was poor, the people doing the entertainment tried their best but it was really shocking for a all inclusive resort, there was a lack of tables in the entertainment area mostly just chairs laid out in rows like a cinema, very strange, Costa teguise itself is lovely but I would steer well clear of this hotel, more like an episode of faulty towers

Unfortunately we arrived late evening on the Friday night before the flooding had happened so we were here for the devastation. After this, nowhere near was enough dome to get the pool and the hotel up and running again. we have been here for 10 days, and still, none of the big pools are open . The clean-up process consists of one man with a pool hover and one with a hose pipe . They start at 9 and have a brake at 12 ish and are gone for 2.30 3.00.
The baby pool opened yesterday, and this meant that my 11 year old daughter could no longer use the indoor pool on our last full day as this pool is for people over the age of 14 .
The baby pool is for very young children, no older than 8, and is not suitable for an 11 year. old.
I have talked to the reception a few times to find out what is happening with the pool and could not get an definitive answer just kept on saying that they are doing what they can. One of the male concierge after me saying that not enough was being done got quiet aggressive
As of today, 21 of April, none of the big pools are open, and they haven't been drained. there are signs around the hotel saying not to go in and that safety is their main priority.
Yesterday afternoon, some guests around 8 went into the main pool, and the life guard did absolutely nothing to get them back out. It was reported to reception who said it is the responsibility of the life guard to get them out .
The hotel, rooms, etc. are all very run down and dated.
The spar pool has more tiles on the side of the pool than actual in the pool, and there is so much gritty sand on the pool floor .
The food for a all inclusive is fairly decent and the staff are really helpful and friendly same gose for the bar staff.
Please, before you come here, make sure
that things are up and running properly . People are still turning up with no idea that the pools are not open and no one is telling them
We have been offered no apology from the hotel what so ever I honestly believe that they do not care.
