The hotel is a bit dated but its clean and you can see how impressive it used to be. When booking it said there are 3 restaurants and 3 bars, I only saw 1 restaurant and only 1 bar is open at a time. Only stayed for 1 night entertainment all the other nights we had a taxi into town and found our own entertainment. There was plenty of choice with the food but I found a lot of it cold so ate out most nights. The rooms were clean and spacious.

Really amazing hotel! It's so gorgeous with live plants all around. Great location, it's about 15 mins walk to the town, really easy to do, so the hotel isn't loud. The pool is split into three parts, with a small ankle high pool for young kids. The food was good, as expected for an all inclusive buffet (shocking amount of people just having chips, nuggets or plain pasta when there was actually really nice food). The staff were excellent, rooms were very clean and the cleaners came everyday. The views around the area are lovely. Definitely would recommend and would definitely go back!

I had booked this a year ago, and looked at the reviews and to say the least I was worried, however what an absolute beautiful hotel, the staff are wonderful and extremely helpful, we did have an issue getting a cot on night 1 however this was due to it being fathers day and a lot of children/babies were in the resort, day 2 this was resolved quickly and efficiently, the food is what you'd expect from a resort trying to cater to over 1000 people at one time with a semi small staff force, not bad, not exceptional, but good, i would not recommend this for children under 3 as the rooms are right above night time entertainment which goes on till midnight creating a loud environment( its not massively loud in the rooms, just a touch too loud for a baby). However that is not a fault of the hotel. The local area is beautiful with plenty of shops for what you need, if you get unlucky like us and have an illness(or a baby being unwell) there is a 15 minute walk to a pharmacy, who are incredibly helpful and speak English) our stay has been brilliant and I cannot fault it past our own faults

I don’t know what all the bad reviews are talking about! My partner and I have stayed here for the past 4 nights and we’ve enjoyed it that much that we’ve actually booked an extra night! The staff are amazing, facilities are faultless and food has a lot of variation. The literal only thing I could say is I wish there were a few more cocktails for all inclusive but other than that Beatriz Costa & Spa has been absolutely fantastic! Room is a tad dated but spotless with clean bedding and towels every day. The entertainment is brilliant with something all day for everyone!

Avoid this hotel!
Food and drinks: The food is not good and not kept hot. After paying all inclusive would have expected some snacks during the day… only provided with some tiny stale rolls. The drinks tasted watered down.
Staff: Honestly some of the rudest, grumpiest hotel staff I have ever come across! The bar man at the piano bar was the worst. The exception to this were the kids entertainment staff and the nice blonde lady at reception!
Pool and spa: The pool would have been nice if it weren’t for the floods. The hotel did not put up any information as to it being closed or that guests could access the spa had to work hard to find this out. The spa is okay but needs some TLC.
Location: Up a hill from the town
Rooms: Shabby, dated and smelled musty. No facilities in room.
