Staying here right now. Instead of a garden or sea view we got a room with a loud construction view. It wasn’t mentioned anywhere before we booked it and they refused to change it. A romantic trip was ruined.
Spa is not working, which is very disappointing.
Very small pool at the beach, packed with people.
Water pressure in the shower is not good.
Furniture in the room looks used, something you don’t expect from such an expensive hotel
It used to be a nice hotel a few years ago, but now it’s not worth the money.

Love staying here. I also visit Akira Back restaurant, it's on the $$$$ expensive side but it is amazing quality.
The hotel staff are always great, the rooms are decent (especially some of the suites). Views a pretty great. Facilities are decent but don't expect to fill your entire evenings with activities if you are staying for any length of time.

Our stay at W Hotel the Palm, Dubai, was nothing short of a disappointment from the start. We arrived at 3:15 PM, only to find that our room was not ready. To make matters worse, they offered us a room situated right next to ongoing construction. This was entirely unacceptable, especially considering we were traveling with a baby under one year old.
The experience at the front desk was equally unpleasant. The lady who attended to us was not only rude but also suggested that we pay for an alternate upgraded room which we had to pay for. This lack of hospitality left us appalled.
When we were finally assigned a room, it was evident that no consideration was given to the fact that we had a baby with us. There were no appropriate accommodations or amenities provided for our child, making us feel unvalued and overlooked.
Despite our patience and the considerable delay, an entire 50 minutes passed without any updates, and no one bothered to check back with us.
Our visit to W hotel The Palm was supposed to be a joyous occasion, attending a prestigious event for Harvard alumni. Instead, the management's negligence and lack of customer service ruined our mood and experience.
At 3:56PM, we were still waiting, not comfortably settled into our room. To add insult to injury, when we finally spoke with a manager, Diana, over the phone, she accused us of being given the room on time, which was simply untrue.
In summary, the service at W Hotel the Palm, Dubai, fell dramatically short of what one would expect, especially when staying at such a supposedly prestigious hotel. Their disregard for guests' needs, especially those traveling with young children, leaves much to be desired. We cannot recommend this hotel to others based on our experience.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. We stayed here and had a really good time. The swimming pools however always get pretty full lacking space for the rest who would like to swim which is a bit of a poor design otherwise it’s. Beautiful hotel lovely breakfast lovely staff always very helpful and welcoming thank you very much for everything!

Our experience at W Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome from the reception team set the tone for a truly memorable stay. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring everything went smoothly from check-in to departure.
Our room was impeccably clean, with housekeeping providing flawless service every day. The attention to detail was impressive, making our stay all the more comfortable.
The dining experience was equally outstanding. Whether at breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the staff went above and beyond to offer impeccable service with a smile. Their kindness and attentiveness made every meal a delight.
A special mention goes to the safety guards at the swimming pool, who ensured a secure and enjoyable environment at all times. Their dedication did not go unnoticed and was greatly appreciated. Additionally, the incredible poolside team—Brian, Duitar, Fiona, and the rest—deserve recognition for their exceptional service. From arranging cabanas and towels to providing food and drinks, they took care of everything with warmth and professionalism.
The hotel itself is a masterpiece—spacious, pristine, and beautifully designed. The variety of swimming pools caters to guests of all ages, and the selection of on-site restaurants ensures a fantastic culinary experience.
For those visiting, the rooftop is an absolute must! If booking a seaside view, I highly recommend opting for a higher floor to fully appreciate the scenery. Otherwise, the poolside view is equally stunning, especially in the evening.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at W Dubai – The Palm for making our stay so special. We look forward to returning and reliving this incredible experience!
