Had dinner here with a friend and really enjoyed it! The food was delicious, the view was lovely, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The hotel itself looks beautiful — stylish design, a great pool, and a gorgeous beach. Definitely a place worth coming back to.

We were upgraded to the Residence section of the hotel. It was fabulous only 48 rooms and suites. The pool was WOW with plenty of loungers and cabanas which had refrigerators ! Also nice touch was a cool bag with water crisps towels etc. Beach cabanas spread far apart on a huge private section of beach each with own decking.

We had a truly wonderful stay at The One&Only The Palm. The hotel offers an exceptional boutique experience, with a limited number of rooms ensuring exclusivity, tranquility, and an overall refined guest experience. The quality of the food in every restaurant was very good — from breakfast to dinner — and the room service was of equally high standard. Every dish we ordered, regardless of setting, was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented.
Our rooms were stunning. Tastefully designed, spacious, and impeccably serviced with elegant turndown touches that made each evening feel special. I would especially recommend room 404, a Junior Suite with Private Pool. It offers ideal beach proximity, privacy, and the benefit of the evening sun on the directly accessible beach (you don’t have evening sun on the beach in room 904) — a perfect setup if you’re traveling with a young child, as we were.
Another highlight was the ease of access to pool and beach areas. At no point did we struggle to find a sunbed or spot to relax, which is often not the case at other luxury resorts. The atmosphere felt serene, elevated by the discreet high quality of fellow guests and the calm attentiveness of the staff.
Special praise goes to:
Fatima at the Kids Play area, whose warmth and care made our daughter feel instantly at home;
Kule, who made breakfast a joyful start to every day;
Akash, who delivered great service at dinner;
Tarindu, the Recreation Manager, for his thoughtful and professional assistance;
Elena, for the continuous assistance and the change of rooms from 904 to 404.
That said, there are development points the property should address:
1. Technical Maintenance: Given the substantial investment in this resort, it’s surprising to see lapses in upkeep.
• In Room 904, the third bathroom curtain had to be operated manually and the wheels on the sunbeds on the terrace were broken.
• The kids playroom has windows at knee-height that don’t close — our daughter accidentally fell through one and was understandably upset.
• In Room 404, the Bluetooth sound speaker was defect and the power plug provided didn’t work and, after handing it to staff, it appears it wasn’t discarded (leaving the next guest with the same issue). The bathtub tap also leaks.
• Outside at the kids area, the wooden bucket for play bowls is made of pressed wood, which is unsuitable for outdoor use and is already deteriorating. Additionally, the ball rolling system on the wall in the kids zone is broken and non-functional. A book with sound didn’t work as the batteries were drained.
Please make a proper reporting system for malfunction items that can be fed by items from staff and guests. Good maintenance ensures a longer lifetime of products.
2. Restrictions on Lunch Dining Locations: Lunch is only permitted in your room or inside the restaurant, not by the pool or beach. They say it’s because of hygiene, but then their policy isn’t consistent as you can order food at rear pool area. With a toddler, this created some logistical frustration. Once we attempted to time our arrival for 4pm and requested food to be ready upon arrival, but were told this wasn’t possible — meaning we had to wait 45 minutes at the restaurant with a restless child. Room service, on the other hand, allowed us to schedule food to be ready when convenient, so we resorted to that instead.
Despite these issues, the overall service remains excellent, and the resort’s design, food, and other guests make it a memorable place to stay. With minor technical improvements and a more flexible approach to dining logistics, The One&Only The Palm could elevate from good to flawless.

This was better than expected, it surprised me. I’ve stayed at other places in Dubai, but this one felt different, in a good way.
It’s right at the end of the outer Palm, so it’s a longer drive in and out (especially if you’re heading to Business Bay or downtown), but that’s kind of what makes it special. Once you’re in, it doesn’t feel so busy as other places. It’s calm, quiet, and honestly feels like you’ve left the city without leaving the city.
The resort itself is stunning. The architecture is old Spanish palace vibe, elegant without being over the top. Everything’s beautifully done, from the landscaping to the tiny design details.
Now, service in Dubai is usually quick and great across the board, but this place goes above and beyond. Not in that scripted "yes sir” kind of way, but more genuine. Delly, our guest host, was genuinely incredible, attentive, kind, and just had this calm energy that makes you feel looked after without being hovered over.
Breakfast was spot on. Clean, quality food, great pastries, nothing too gimmicky. The Italian restaurant was alright too, not 'mad', but definitely good. We didn’t get around to trying the French one, it's a niche taste.
This place is luxury done right. No pretentiousness, just peaceful, polished, and really well run. I’d definitely come back—unless I was stuck doing daily meetings in Business Bay, then I’d probably stay closer in. But if you’re here to unwind, this is it.
The standout bits
• Feels like a true escape—quiet, private, and peaceful
• Gorgeous architecture with real charm
• Customer service that actually feels personal (shoutout to Delly)
• Excellent breakfast with quality, fresh options
• Calm, luxurious atmosphere that doesn’t try too hard
Worth keeping in mind
• Located right at the end of the Palm, so getting around takes longer
• On-site dining is decent but limited if you want variety.
• Probably not ideal if you need to be zipping around the city every day
