Perfect location, lovely rooms and cleaned daily. The food was delicious with a great selection.. the animation team were really nice and made sure all the residents were having fun and involved in the daily activities. It's not really a place for children, but does cater for kids club in a small area.

The hotel is a nice hotel, that consistenly outputs the same quality. It is nothing fancy and wild, but it is not cheap and dirty either. I would dare say it is both money well spent and a pleasant experience. The food is what you would expect from the price you pay, it has some variety, with certain dishes being switched daily, but they also have a lot of stables. Good for picky eaters and adventurous people. The rooms are decent, and cleaned daily by a very nice staff. The bar for all inclusive is also decent, you can get drunk if you want, and they give access to cold water, so you can fill a bottle going on a trip or drinking in your room. The water from the bathroom in my hotel room was also drinkable though a little chlorine tasting. The pool is also big and well maintained. TLDR: - Overall very decent - Decent food - Decent rooms (few outlets) - Decent pool - Decent bar - Nice staff

First off, the rooms are basic but have everything you really need. The service was good, with towels changed on a regular basis. Friendly and helpful staff, which was good. Have to admit the food was excellent and a lot of choice which surprised me. Wonderful location, literally a stones throw from the beach. I would definitely go back there again.

You get what you pay for with this one. Staff were great and tried their best but the food really lets this place down. Food really is that bad. Unless you are happy living off chips and bread be prepared to eat out every day. Food is poor quality and tastes of nothing. Plates glasses and cutlery were filthy. Eating in there made me feel sick. Not a fault of the hotel but I thought a lot of the guests were very odd and unfriendly too. They just stare at you and are so rude pushing past. Sun beds are queued for every morning and people literally run for beds and dump arm fulls of towels on the beds then leave for hours. We didn’t spend one single day by the pool is was just so boring and clicky. Would recommend going to the beach 2 x beds were €14 a day and the sea is lovely. Would also recommend Malbec wine club for amazing steak and Spanish food for a good prices Mullarkeys for live entertainment every night bar Tuesdays. Bar shuts at 11 to all inclusive and they charge you for the last hour 11pm - 12pm for drinks. Poor really. WiFi is €30 a day too. Wouldn’t come back. Poor experience and feel it wasn’t worth the £900 per person we paid. I spent so much money eating out and paying for a bed by the sea. Only plus with this one is the location which is great but that’s about it. The worst all inclusive I’ve ever been to.

When we first arrived, the rooms were nice and clean, there was a lot of food for breakfast and the view from the balcony was beautiful, on first few days it was a perfect hotel and we wanted to book it in advance for next year. Then we started noticing the cleaners only changed the towels daily and wiped the sink and mirror every few days, thats all. The floor wasn't sweeped for almost 2 weeks, although it did sound like they moved the beds so I'm not really sure what they were doing, shower gel dispenser wasn't replenished after the previous guests and we ran out on third day, it obviously stayed empty until the end of our stay. The walls are so thin you can hear people snoring. Food was another issue, there was some variety but every day it was the same, cheapest stuff. Coffee was bland, half of the drinks were unavailable. The only good thing was the location, very close to the beach and bus stops, as well as some restaurants. In my opinion it was not worth the price. Very disappointed.

This hotel gets all five stars for me. It was the perfect location, where you walk out the back exit onto the beachfront. Food was above average, we stayed all inclusive and we never went hungry, there was options for everyone such as: salad bar, fresh fruit and veg, meat, pasta, different meals inclusive to the day, a griddle where you can ask the chef to cook whichever fresh meats were on that day and so much more. The alcohol drinks included in all inclusive were 6 cocktail choices, vodka, rum, whiskey, and various others. The soft drinks were Pepsi max and normal Pepsi, orange and lemon “fanta”, sprite, and ice tea. Tea, coffee and various fruit juices were also available. For entertainment, they had a schedule fully filled with games throughout the day, such as, French boules, mini golf, shuffleboard, darts, ping pong, shooting and archery. These were so fun and popular with the other guests, I’m in my 20s and we said no at first but by the second day we were loving the games and the competition with them there people. The staff were beyond lovely, everyone was so welcoming and you can truly tell they love their jobs, George, Lola and their colleague doing the games and entertainment sealed the deal for me, they will be the reason we will return at any chance we get. The location is around 7 minutes from the town centre on the bus (€1.20 per person) and taxi is around €6. You have plenty of shops and restaurants next to the hotel so we didn’t tend to go into town too much. The beaches are lovely, and our room has the perfect view of the seafront. We stayed in SEPTEMBER 2024 and we had no problems with the busy times or sun bed availability, the pool was clean and there are multiple bars open for guests. All in all, a great stay and we have already booked for next year ☀️

This was my second stay in this hotel. The accommodation is basic but very clean and the beds are comfortable. Air conditioning takes a while to cool the room, we left the power card plugged in for an hour or so before getting ready for evenings. Food is ok but as with our first stay, it was often cold and they really need to find a way to keep hot food hot. There is a good variety of food but generally its quite bland. The addition of the chef cooking fresh on the griddle was good. Omelette and burger I had from there were very good. The salad choices are lovely. Some snacks available during the day, cake, fruit etc. New pool bar is nice. Choice of all inclusive drinks could be better. Entertainment - either the acoustics in the lounge room are awful or the sound system needs looking into. It was really difficult to hear what was being said over the microphone. Trying to hear quiz questions for example. Pillars in the room mean that if you miss out on one of the few tables in the middle, you are going to struggle to see the acts. The animation team work really hard day and night and are brilliant. Lola is hilarious! The external acts we saw though weren't so good. This may have been partially due to the sound problems in the room. There are loads of sun loungers, although as with most resorts, there are people claiming beds early in the morning. That said, we never had a problem finding a space or a bed for the day. There are several areas to set yourself up for sun bathing, poolside or in the gardens. The beach is just across the road too. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Overall I enjoyed my stay but doubt I will stay a third time and would probably go for a 4 or 5 star option next time.

We had a lovely stay at Globales Gardenia this past week. The staff were very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to help. They all smiled and chatted to our 2 year old son, who also seemed to really enjoy his stay. The room was very clean and spacious, and the staff did a great job of keeping the dining area clean throughout the day. We were very impressed with the staff and the hotel.

We have been to a Globales group hotel before, so when picking a hotel in Fuengirola, it seemed the one to pick after the excellent service, food, and overall experience we had last time. Check-in was painless and room ready, and the seventh floor, where the view was great ( see pic ) Seeing we were half board and we arrived at 2 pm, couldn't use the restaurant but was offered All inclusive, pay for 5 and get 7, we declinned. Price wasn't given. Later that day, we had an hour on the sun beds before shower and evening meal. There are lots of sun beds even in the morning. Food at the evening was okay but could have been a lot hotter, and when a tray was empty, it should have been refilled. Sadly, if you went late, this didn't happen. That was the same at breakfast. This let down the hotel greatly Food is important !!!! We didn't see any entertainment, but there was some every night. After 10 p.m., adults only A little away from the main town but bus service good and only 1.20 euros one way Taxi back 10. Would I go back? Probably not Gardens, room, brilliant shower, and hotel staff very happy to help though

This hotel is excellent in my opinion definitely 4 star standard. Staff were helpful, attentive and polite. Our room was spotlessly cleaned everyday as was the entire hotel. Food was excellent particularly the live cooking stations, although could be a little repeatative at times especially the snack bar which had the same choice everyday. Evening entertainment was first class the hotel even hired in some external acts who were great in particular the male singing trio who were fantastic. The location is great near enough to get to everything but just away enough to get a peaceful night sleep in the very comfortable beds. My only very light criticism would be that 35 euros for a safe for the week seemed expensive and a fridge in room would be nice, think hotel would benefit from considering including these. All in all a great stay highly recommended and definitely would return.

this maybe my fifth stay for business trips and so far i loved the hotel for the price and facilities available. too bad this maybe my last visit here ever. today i checked out as usual, and waited for the housekeeping to clear check the room. surprisingly then appeared an accusal for me that i stained the bolster case with a unknown brown spill showed on a photo by their housekeeper. i told the reception staff that i didnt feel i did it, and didnt even use the bolster provided but they insisted an extra charge of 30k rupiah. long story short i paid up and told them this is wrong to accuse a customer, and if the procedure system does exist like that, then the hotel should perform a checklist whenever a new customer enters the room together with the housekeeper. this way it is clear for the customer that any stains after the checklist will be their responsibility. without this, how would a customer then not feel cheated on? sorry to say but a customer can also fairly accuse the hotel staff also neglecting the previous check and blaming the unlucky one next. anyways hope you guys review this to avoid future customers feeling accused without prior notice and proper agreements/procedures. good luck.

Found this hotel through travel app with a very good price. Decided to book and didn’t expected much but turns out the hotel was great! The room was spacious and clean even though the aircon didn’t work when I checked in. Called the concierge and they sent someone right away. Ordered some food and drinks, it taste nice with reasonable price. They provide shuttle services to some beach club but I didn’t try it. Maybe next time!

Rooms were smaller than I had expected. Cleaning of the rooms was half ass unless we stayed there and watched them do it. On a few occasions they did not change our visibly dirty sheets. We were over charged on many occasions for many things such as laundry, I tried to have them include my breakfast and pay ahead but they refused. Breakfast itself was ok. On some of the days it was on the roof where the food was inedible cold. This review would have more stars but what happened on check out. Shocked me, offended me, and made sure I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The receptionist ad the front. TRIED TO MAKE ME PAY FOR USING A TOWEL. these guys are high level scammers and will do their best to extract every cent from you. Their driving service ignores their pre set rates and charges you additional fees for pretty must everything. On Expedia I had paid for a shuttle transfer and was charged again when I arrived. Basically the staff acts like children. I don’t know if it’s the manager making them do this but it is very offensive how they always ask for more. Even room service has a high “tax fee”. Honestly the hotel is just fine, it’s exactly what you’d expect from a hotel on an island. It is not close to anything that’s really important or worth seeing. All Gojek rides were more expensive because of this. It would be much better to stay in Seminyak or Ubud as these places are more interesting. The rooms have PAPER THIN walls. You can hear people walking and talking while you’re trying to sleep at night. Even by just turning on the TV in the room (which was small and outdated) you would probably get a noise complaint. The “view” in the room is something of a homeless encampment vibe. Looks like skid row with rules. Basically just a bunch of small huts outside your window. The people who stay there yell loudly and sometimes party so you can hear everything. Our stay was 12 days I wish it was 12 minutes. It was cheap for the price but honestly I’m willing to pay more money to avoid this. I still cannot belive they tried to make me pay for towel usage??? Like who does that?? I was checking out I said “is everything taken care of” Receptionist says “yes everything is fine, we will send someone to your room to make sure you have everything” After making us wait for about an hour she comes back and shows me a random picture of a towel that is used and says “you owe us money for property damage” I swiftly reminded her of the many nights my sheets were not changed and about this lackluster “pay for every little thing” concept they have and said “I’m not paying a cent” She kept insisting. I told her that if she presses the issue it’s their last day staying open as a hotel. I don’t know how or why they are even running this establishment. Let’s summarize. Staff (on normal days) 6/10 Staff when I was checking out 0/10 Housekeeping 2/10 Room service 7/10 (food was good, I’ll admit) Breakfast buffet 3/10 (not entertaining, always the same) No microwave anywhere in hotel period 0/10 Driving service 5/10 Proximity to key places 0/10 I would only stay here again if I had a business cinference or something and I wouldn’t spend more than 2 days. I’d also bring my own towels so they don’t charge me for using it. Frankly after spending 12 nights I should have gotten a nice discount or a free night but they didn’t happen. They aren’t customer service people. Experience was so below normal than what I have ever had at any hotel. Really not a huge fan Stay somewhere else.

Initially thought we’d come to a nice hotel for our last night but soon turned out that wasn’t the case. The rooms are poorly lit with wallpaper peeling off the walls and small cockroaches. The food was terrible we ordered the steak and managed 1 bite, after mentioning this we were told we still had to pay and all food is non refundable, the staff seemed familiar with this complaint. The shower filter was blocked and almost flooded our room. We got the room through agoda on a discount but if we paid full price I’d be even more disappointed. Don’t recommend staying here.

5 or 6 out of 10 over all. Positives - The rooftop pools are nice, even if the surrounding view isn't very special. The bed was large and comfortable, the air con worked well, and there was plenty of storage room. The staff were all lovely. Gym is decent! Negatives - The location isn't that great at all for a holiday base. If you don't mind taking a taxi for a few minutes every time you want to go to the beach area it's ok, but...Right outside of the hotel is an extremely busy road. It's not exactly a relaxing holiday feeling. The hotel area in general is also a bit dark and dingy. The rooftop bar was really bad. No fans or aircon working & just no atmosphere at all. More like a canteen. There aren't enough sun beds with umbrellas considering the size of the hotel.

Start off by saying this isn't a 4 star apartment block, it doesn't say it is, it is a cheap budget stay and I'd happily pay the same again in August. Room had a bed, shower and air con that worked great. I'm not on hols to stay in the room so it did it's job. Friendly staff throughout. Pool by the day is fantastic, clean, warm... and the fries are cracking 👌 Only negative comment I can make is the bar doesn't have the entertainment it still advertises within. Came for a drink with friends in May (stag do) and we enjoyed our brief stay, kinda led me to choose Doramar for the family hol we just returned from. Would have been nice after daily adventures to come back and enjoy a late drink with a sing song.

Don’t believe what the photos show you of the rooms! They’re cheaply made and the walls are paper thin. There is only one air-conditioning device for the entire apartment and my family of four cannot even sit at the table in the kitchen (since it’s so small). The safe requires €1 per day of use, so be ready to waste more money than you already have. The location isn’t bad, and neither is the service, but I would definitely not recommend to stay here if you have a choice. Stop letting hotels abuse tourists! The price per night of occupancy was not reflected in the quality we received.

Perfectly located to access the sea front and bars and restaurants all close by. Tasty breakfasts were served with tea included in price. Apartment was clean and functional and staff were friendly and helpful. We're already planning our 3rd visit of the year. PARTY HOTEL - do not stay here if you are a family , or even if you would like to sleep. Nightclub down stairs that doesn’t end until 2am , our floor was vibrating at one point. When it’s over everyone moves out onto the street. We had a group of men one night stand outside our window and sing for 30 mins at 3.30am , hotel staff allow this to happen. You can also hear everything in the next rooms and out onto the hallway. People screaming and shouting up halls . Rooms are horrible and outdated . Cracked windows , shower that overflows are 3 mins in it, windows that don’t close properly no English channels on tv. Beware if you go to the pool with your kids… these party’s continue during the day at the pool , a small pool area and a group of 30 men on a stage meant we couldn’t go near the pool for the three days we stayed … 3 days is all I could take we moved after this. You have to pay to lie on a sun bed, and when you approach a sun bed a man will come up screaming 3€ at you! Frightened myself and my child. And god forbid if you bring a snack from your apartment down to the pool area…. You will he crucified by said man. You get 4 towels , 2 big , 2 small for a family of three and they are to do you for your entire stay … bear in mind these apartments don’t have a washing machine or drier… or balcony to dry. For a family of three you get two single beds and a pull out bed that is filthy . Absolutely will never return and will never recommend… all 5 people leaving 5 star reviews need their heads examined!

I stayed at Apartamentos Doramar for three nights from February 12, 2024 with my wife. My impressions are very, very positive. You receive a complete apartament and it gives you the feeling of home. A bedroom and a seating area with a large sofa, a dining table with four chairs, and a smaller table opposite the sofa. This space contains a small kitchen equipped with all the necessary utensils, including a small refrigerator, and a separate bathroom. Everything is clean. The place is close to the beach, only a few minutes away, and the surrounding area has all the necessities, and the main street and transportation buses are less than a hundred meters away. The staff is calm, courteous, and accommodates all normal requests. A taxi can be requested through the administration staff, at competitive prices, and it will arrive within minutes. The stay was very comfortable, and I would like to say thank you to the nice staff. I would definitely recommend it to others, and if I return to visit the place, I'll be lucky to find a vacant spot.

Fantastic hotel with great facilities. For me what makes this place good is that every single member of staff at this hotel is super friendly and always up for a laugh. Been coming here for years and its always lovely to see the staff that stay with the hotel, it adds to the great atmosphere. Special mention to Montse and the rest of the entertainment team - they were great! Highly recommend it here, good clean rooms, lovely poolside and nice bars too

This was simply the best holiday! Sol Timor apartments are amazing, great location, clean and helpful staff. The entertainment team are amazing! John and the team go above and beyond, the entertainment is by far the best I have seen at hotel. Great family hotel. Recommend you try the Rose and Crown, great wee bar and nice food. They have a drag show on a Monday night highly recommend. If I could fault one thing and it's only small, we had a late transfer and there was nowhere we could freshen up before our flight. We will definitely be back

Lovely hotel. Clean spacious rooms. Perfect location. Right on the sea front. Lovely pool. They even did a little special something for my partner's birthday 🎈🎂. Breakfast was absolutely spot on. 2 lovely bars 1 in the hotel. 1 on the promenade which gave great service. The snack bar has a great menu also. From pizza's burgers. Wraps to fried chicken. All hot and tasty and well presented. It's so close to the harbour and all the shops. Short walk to the train station. And local buses to take you where you need to go. Plus only 20 minutes taxi from Málaga airport Would definitely return

Second time in Belamadena but first time in these apartments. We loved the idea of self contained. I didn't realize I had booked a studio and would have preferred a separate living and bedroom area. I know for next time. Although the rooms were basic I did feel it was excellent value for money but could be updated. Our toilet blocked after first day and staff were quick to support and allow us to move room. We will definitely return next year

Clean rooms, we didn't pay for sea view so ended up on the side of hotel that gets no sun on balcony at all but does have a sea view as do most rooms, if you want sun you need to ask for pool view. Staff were nice, great staff, lots of bars to choose from and literally on the beach. There was lots of different things to choose from at breakfast and dinner. Would definitely stay again.

Visited here for 4 nights in August with my husband as an early birthday trip for him. We were greeted at reception by a kind, smiling lady. She checked us in and informed us that though we hadn’t booked one, we had been upgraded to a pool view room. The room itself was bright, airy and clean. The large balcony was unbelievable with gorgeous views. The cleaning staff were so courteous and did an excellent job. The pool area was well maintained with plenty of staff around the area to monitor sunbeds, lifeguard, serve drinks, etc. our absolute favourite was the cabana beds facing the sea. The male staff member who looked after these was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. He actually made our holiday. He looked after us and gave us 5 star service. A lot of work has been done to the hotel since we last visited and it really really shows. The facilities are immaculate and we already cannot wait to return in May 2025.

Great hotel, right on the beach. Nice staff Breakfast is buffet style, everything you could want hot or cold food. One criticism is the plates are cold so the cooked food goes cold quickly. Nice room with a great view of the sea. No kettle 😒 you have to hire from the hotel. English tv if you want to catch up. There's a free to use iron in the laundry room in the basement. The roof terrace and bar is the star attraction, wow absolutely fantastic views! Outside space is nice with a huge pool, the pool is not heated. There's plenty of sunbeds . I don't understand the negative reviews of some people but we had a nice 4 day break and all the staff were helpful inc the lovely housekeeping senora on floor 6. Definitely worth a visit. Thanks to all Barracuda staff. 👍

Was worried after reading some of the reviews. But i have to say, Amazing hotel. Amazing and such friendly staff they made my wife and our baby son so welcome everyone went above and beyond. Our baby will miss all the attention from staff he was always looking out for them in their uniform to give a smile and a wave. Rooms lovely and clean each day. The service I'm this hotel is amazing it is just spot on. Food is good with plenty of choice Would recommend to anyone. Great location in the middle of everything and right on the seafront. The massage is highly recommended, had feet done for me and the wife, wow amazing! Would recommend paying the 20 euros for the beds for the day waiter service is exceptional Great.

First time ever in Torremolinos and La Barracuda was perfect!! The staff in the restaurant and pool were so lovely and helpful, the hotel was immaculate and was clean the entire time! The food was good too, always a variety at dinner and it wasn't run of the mill beige fried food, it was authentic and delicious. The drinks were so good too, strong and not too expensive. We loved the entertainment each night and watching the sunset from the rooftop bar was beautiful! !Nos encantó la barracuda!

Not a very nice place. Location is okay (right next to Torremuelle station) and staff were friendly. But the actual place was a right dump. Rooms were hot and stuffy, air conditioner was temperamental. Beds creaked like crazy also. Kitchens were dirty and poorly-equipped - only one knife, two plates (one of which had a huge crack on it), no washing up liquid, no sponges. You need to ask for a kettle from reception for some reason. We didn't spend any time by the pool, but from what we could see, there were very few deckchairs and the pool was tiny. Basically this hotel needs a good injection of money, to properly supply each room with basic utensils and crockery (it is a self-catering place after all) and tidy the whole place up. Right now it's just a dirty, run-down hole. Only reason I've given 2 not 1 is down to the staff, they were friendly and welcoming. That was the only good part about this place. I will not be staying again :(

Had a great break here last week, very handy for airport as train stops opposite. Nice apartment spacious and clean. Pool and bar serves food. Very relaxed and nice scenery and hiking! English school below it were children in cute uniforms play at break times.

This hotel has a lot of potential. The train station is a stone's throw away, the beach is a short walk away, the views are breathtaking, and the weather is incredible. However, with all that being said I would still not recommend this hotel to anyone. I booked a week here with my wife and son, as a nice cheap getaway. Now when you book a hotel, even a cheap one, you expect a certain level of service and facilities to be provided. We arrived at this potentially great little hotel, only to find they would not be providing a bed for our 6 month old son, a bed we had paid for and they had been aware about. The only comment we received was that they have no beds, and they will see what they can do. Our first night our son had nowhere to sleep. The next morning I approached the sleeping subject again, only to hear they would see what they could do yet again. Giving them the benefit of the doubt yet again, I allowed them several hours to source a bed for my young son to sleep on. When I went back to ask if a solution had been found, I was told that there were no beds for my son and that the manager was in a meeting and won't be back until the next day. I asked further what I was meant to do for sleeping arrangements for my son, and they said maybe tomorrow they will have a bed. For anyone who has a child or baby, you know that a few hours without sleep can be torture! The lack of care and effort for the staff at the hotel here was appalling, you would expect them to try and do something to make your stay here enjoyable. Instead what I found were employees more interested in a smoke break and coffee break than in doing their actual jobs. In the end I decided to try my luck on a wild internet search, to see what could be done. Within 3 hours, and €50 out of my own pocket, I managed to find a company who would deliver a travel cots and mattress to the hotel for me. The fact that a visitor to an area could find sleeping arrangements for a child quicker than the locals and staff is beyond me. I would not stay at this "hotel" again, and I would highly recommend anyone else to avoid this place. Calling it a hotel is an insult to hotels, it is quite possibly closer to a hostel. The bare minimum is provided if you are very lucky, and if you are unlucky not even that. I am however giving this a 2* review as I do not believe that it is all on the hotel however, a note to the manager/owner - invest in better staff and your hotel and you would have a fantastic hotel here. I attach a picture of our receipt for the travel bed as evidence that this is not a made up story.

First of all, bit far from everything. It's a god sending that there is a train station at your doorstep. Staff are ignorant, some friendly right enough. No kettle or toaster in room, we were givenue false hope that we would get one. Ended up we got one 2 days later. Bar could've stayed open longer as it shuts at 7pm. Sofa bed was uncomfortable as you had springs digging into you. Apart from that the rooms were decently clean.

This hotel is beautiful. Don't listen to other reviews. The room was great for just 2 of us ( room only ) the beach is a stones throw away and all the restaurants and bars on your doorstep. Ideal location. The pool is lovely and at night it's a beautiful bar. The room's are cleaned everyday with fresh towels and bedding. It was my special birthday whilst I was there and they bought me a bottle of prosecco to my room with a lovely note wishing me a happy birthday, which I thought was a lovely gesture. You also have a small fridge in the room, so we went to the supermarket to get bottles of water. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very clean hotel and staff very friendly and helpful. Great walk in powerful shower ...rooms cleaned daily. Nice balcony with a lovely view. Lovely rooftop pool with sky bar. Our one complaint is about the air conditioning...it is not extra to pay for but in all honesty it is non existent! We stayed in August and it was very hot but our room was never cool, night or day. The aircon units look very dated and maybe need upgraded. It is a shame because it would put me off staying here again, as it was difficult to sleep at night. Our daughter's room was the same. However, if this was improved we would have no hesitation to return.

Location and the sea view are very good. But we couldn't sleep well because of the bad insulation. You will hear people in front of the room at night or in the morning. Also you will hear TV or talking people next rooms. Also I'm surprised that they charge you for every thing like pool towels, safe case or kettle. This hotel could be perfect if they could make rooms better insulated. But we won't prefer it again since we want to sleep well during our holiday.

Here as part of a group of 6 women (various ages). We went to the roof terrace bar and pool and sat together in our group of 6 on the sun loungers. There was only a few other people there when we arrived at 10:30am. Bar staff member asked us not to move any of the sun loungers - we hadn't moved any simply pushed them closer together. At 12:30pm we were told to leave the staff member who was with a security guard. We asked why as we weren't causing a nuisance of ourselves and we had been there from 10:30am. We were told it was because we were not allowed to move the sun loungers beside each other. The staff were very rude towards us and we had other guests defending us as we had done nothing wrong. I have never stayed in a hotel where guests have not been allowed to push sun loungers beside one another and there are no signs up anywhere stating that this cannot be done. While we were getting our things to leave, others (not British) were moving sun loungers around in front of the bar manager and member of staff who asked us to leave . This was pointed out to them and nothing was done until it was highlighted for a 3rd time when the member of staff (I believe his name is Pedro) pulled the sun loungers back and asked us if we were happy! Not a hotel recommended for groups larger than 2 people if you want to chill by the pool together!

This hotel is absolutely vile, dirty, disgusting. I have come home with bites on my face and butt from bugs that were crawling around the bed and sides. Filthy room when we arrived and stayed filthy throughout, didn’t even change our bed cos we left a couple of items on it. They had no regard for our disgusting issues reported. The reception staff were so rude, one man was screaming in my face when I asked for details for formal complaints (I’m a 5ft woman). I am fighting for a full refund, DO NOT STAY HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT. Lifts are slow, whole place stinks. I payed for breakfast included and didn’t dare eat in this unsanitary hell hole. The shower was broken so that it sprayed directly in the face, so we literally had to hand hold the shower to wash. Reported this to reception and absolutely nothing was done. An absolutely vile hotel I am in shock

Fantastic hotel great location friendly staff always clean. Had a slight issue with our air con leaking mentioned it to the maids went to the pool when we came back to engineers already in the room with it off the wall and fixed it. Family room was a great price stayed for 9 night in July will definitely be our go too next time we go to this part of Spain. Only down side is not enough subbed at the pool and people always put towels on then even though the hotel has a no reserving policy but it isn’t enforced.

We are just home from our third time staying in Las Rampas. We first stayed in October 23 and this hotel is in a location close to everything, - beaches, bars, restaurants, train and bus stations. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Our stay was room only so can’t comment on the restaurant. A wee gem in the centre of Fuengirola.

Lovely little find, absolutely brilliant location and yet so quiet! 2mins from bus and train station. The rooms are clean, lots of storage, large bathroom, tea tray is 10e which was worth it. Hard beds and no views, our room was dark and the window was frosted over so you couldn't see out but it was ok as we didn't spend much time there. Good aircon! Beach towel hire 3e. Ate in the restaurant the first morning which was not the best but just across tge rd is a lovely bakery which you can sit in and eat at.

Booked a few nights for a cheap stay as we had a friends wedding at near by Villa Montana, expectations were exceeded very large apartment room with balcony, very tidy. Bath room was a little water damaged and shower was a bit limescaley but clean overall. Can't complain for the price.

I have stayed at this hotel 2 times already. Both were in an apartment. Regarding the price it’s not really reasonable, but the view and location were for me a reason enough. However the rooms need renovation and renewal. The beds were clean (except the sofa-bed). The parking and the swimming pool were free. There is also a supermarket, which sells fresh baked bread.

Though I am a loyal client of this hotel for more than 9 years, this summer, I find myself obliged to post a negative comment concerning my bad experience, especially with the reception staff. It started first with the apartment they booked for us. A smaller flat for a higher price. We used to stay in the front sea view flats and they proposed a lateral sea view flat, on the pretext that they have no more availabilities, though I have booked the flat since March, i.e. 5 months before. However, they suggested an extra payment of 468 Euros if we want a front sea view flat as I used to stay in (crazy). I accepted staying in the first flat they suggested, and found ou that it is a small flat for two, while we were three. Next day I claimed insistently to move from that flat and to be lodged in a larger one. Finally, they accepted. I was happy to start my holidays on the second day, but some days after, another inacceptable issue took place to spoil my holidays again. Cleaning service this time. The hotel's policy provides that cleaning is done once every two days, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. However, on the second time for cleaning, we were out of the hotel before 9 a.m. and returned at 1 p.m. No cleaning was done. As we needed to take a shower and to change clothes, we put the red card on the front side of the flat door, asking not to be disturbed, expecting the cleaning service to be provided later the same day or the day after. Surprise. No cleaning service was done the following day. That is to say no cleaning and no change of towels for 3 days. I claimed this matter with the reception staff. Surprise again. We were blamed for this problem, as we put the red card. We claimed new towels and the answer was refusal. No cleaning service and no new clean towels, until the fourth day. We thought ourselves in a military camp, where officers punish recruits. This is not worth a treatment that can be reserved to loyal or even new customers. It's a pity. I won't recommand this hotel anymore.

I would not recommend this hotel at all! Myself and my partner arrived and the staff was nice until we went to our room and seen it, it was disgusting we paid for a double bed with a sea side view and a balcony and there was no balcony. We went back down and said it and they where so rude to us, I got upset and explained we paid and showed them and said that there was nothing they can do come back down tomorrow we did and they said the same thing we tried again and again and did not get our balcony. There was holes in the curtains the shower was leaking onto the floor, there was dust all over the room and the kitchen was an old toaster and microwave. There was also a giant pillar in the room blocking there tv from the bed.The only nice thing about this hotel was the pool and the view . I would not recommend this place at all. If I could give minus stars I would.

For the price I can’t fault this hotel, I wasn’t expecting much, it definitely exceeded my expectation. Firstly the location is perfect central to everything in town. Beach is a fairly easy walk. Rooms were very big, comfy beds, lots of storage, aircon worked fine it just took a little bit of time to cool the room, my advice. Leave a key card in the power thing in the day so your room is cool when you return. Not ideal but there are additional outlets in the bathroom to charge things, cleanliness was great through out. Nice little rooftop area for drinks and to sunbath. Very quiet considering the location. I will recommended to anyone looking for a cheap getaway in the sun.

As soon as you arrive, you will be negatively impacted by the accommodation. 1) The air conditioning is very old; it does not cool the room. In addition to making noise, it leaves the room with a horrible odor, making it seem like there is a dead mouse in the room. So, leave your windows open to avoid this odor when you return from your trip. 2) I did not receive a double bed as I requested in my reservation. Instead, there were three single beds with thin and uncomfortable mattresses. The pillow was very thin, which caused my nose to become blocked every day. 3) You have to ask for the TV remote at reception and need to leave a provisional payment of €10 in cash to receive it. 4) At night, there are a lot of plumbing noises coming from other rooms that are very noisy and will wake you from your sleep. 5) Breakfast has few options, with the best being fruits such as melon and watermelon. As it is the first meal of the day, lighter, natural, and nutritious options could be served (e.g., eggs, bacon, cheese, fruits), avoiding industrialized cupcakes and sweet breads that look like they were bought at Dialz, and industrialized juice with a bad taste. It’s not worth paying extra for this type of breakfast, as you can find better and even more economical options outside. 6) Reception service is provided by only one employee, so be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes to ask a simple question or resolve an issue. 7) They offer late check-out until 6 pm for €35, but when you ask about it, they say there is no availability unless you buy another night, which will cost around €100. 8)There is no air conditioning in common areas such as the reception, corridors, and elevators, so be prepared to sweat a lot while waiting in a long line to be served at reception. 9) There was only one outlet in the room so we had to wake up during the night to switch our electronics Strengths: 1) Room service is good, they are very polite, honest, they changed the bed linen and towels. They didn't clean the bathroom or the floor the second time and forgot the face towel. Our belongings remained in the same place and in the same way. 2) The breakfast guy is very friendly and welcomed us very well. 3) Location is very good, close to numerous shops, restaurants, bars. Close to Torremolinos train station which goes to Malaga in 25 minutes. Bus stops nearby. 4) If you need to use laundry, we use Speed ​​Queen, a 2-minute walk away. It was very cheap and the clothes smelled really good. In short, it's a reasonable hotel for the price you pay, you can't expect much. It has a decent bed to sleep in and a bath to take a shower.

Personally I don’t think it’s worth the 4 stars. The rooms need improvement (walls are thin, bathroom is tight, cupboard is falling off in the kitchen). However if you are planning on cooking your own meals it’s perfect as you’re supplied with a toaster, kettle, hob and all utensils. The welcome pack was great including a toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel, comb, shampoo. The staff is lovely. Room was cleaned regularly without having to ask. Location is great as you’re close to shops, restaurants and only a short walk from the beach. Taxi from the port to hotel €6.

Apartment was very disappointing walls were paper thin, lack of wardrobe space, no information about how to work electric cooker or air-conditioning in fact no information about anything. Kept awake by people next door with TV on till 2-30 am and then chatting 😑. Very little space in bathroom, if you are big you could have a problem with the loo. Sky bar was quite nice and very reasonable prices

This is a modern hotel located just outside the centre of Fuengirola. Thus far it is the best hotel where I have stayed in the town. There is a good size swimming pool and lounge area with a convenient bar. As the season progresses there is also a sky bar which is open in the evenings. Breakfast is available at €8. The rooms are well equipped and spotlessly clean but suffer from the curse of so many Spanish hotels. Thin walls. A tea and coffee tray would be a welcome addition. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within easy reach. The beach is about a five minute stroll. Staff are universally helpful. Many will think that it's worth to pay just a bit more to stay here and enjoy their time.

Out room wasn't ready so we paid for high floor with sea view. It was for 3 people but they only catered for 2. Didn't give us a 3rd towel, we had to ask. Toilet roll only enough for 2 people and when we asked they said we had to pay. Only 2 chairs on balcony. Cleaner came once and didn't change the living room bed! The cafe were more interested on talking than serving food. We ordered 3 meals. 2 of them came together after a while and the 3rd after we ate ours but we had to ask for it!

I had read reviews about the hotel some good some bad, we loved it room was great beds were good ( people had put that they were hard) slept well. The only thing I would say we were not happy about was the two hundred pounds for the deposit granted you get it back but its a lot of money, the pool cafe was not kept clean, and no English tv, but everything else was good. Kitchen had everything you needed. We have been back a week and half and still no sign if the £200 which I think is disgusting as the room was left as we found it. I won't be going back here. Quick to take the money but slow to give it back!

Apartment has everything you need, washing machine, dishwasher, electric hob, microwave, toaster . Stayed in a 4 bed, 2 separate rooms, 2 toilets. Rooms were comfortable. TV available but not used. Pool area and restaurant which can't fault either. Had a sea view from a large balcony. Stayed on the eleventh of eleven floors and was surprised to have a private roof terrace. Apartment very clean. Only downside of the room, which is a modern problem, none of the power outputs have a usb extension.

Stayed in this hotel for 10 days ftom 6-16th October. When we arrived at this hotel we where told the room wasnt available yet and if we wanted we could pay another 65 and get a better room as well as paying this 200 deposit. So we decided pay the 65. We where told the room would be ready in 5 hours. So we waited 5 hours then returned to be told the room wasnt cleaned yet and we had to wait another 1 hour and half. Not bad hotel for 3 stars and good location. Some parts of the room where dirty. Been home over a week and still no deposit or explination to why this has not been returned despite the rubbish been put out and the room looking more clean than before we went in. Very dissapointed at this.Spoke to phew other people there and they where the same with the extra money for a room and the deposit money. Nice little scam ger extra money from people. Dont go here if worried about the deposit not worth the stress.

Standard three star hotel over ten floors. Basic lifts, generally no wait and buffet meals average. Good measures of spirits at the bar but had to go inside to get drinks (poolside bar closed). Basic gym. No adult only areas. Smoking allowed everywhere so again, nowhere to escape this. Friendly staff on the whole and facilities as expected. Nothing outstanding but nothing terrible.

Beautiful hotel, brilliant staff, but as always the sunbed savers were out in force, but the good thing was, they didn't put them out til 10am so no getting up before sunrise to put your 8 towels on, so you can lay there for an hour. The food selection was extensive and nice could just do with being warmer, but there was a microwave available to use. Room's were modern and functional, bathroom was quality a shower with plenty of room.

The hotel is pretty good, however food is cold and bland. There’s some good excursions to do outside of the hotel and the rooms are good, only thing is, be careful with cockroaches. The staff are very hard working and have great sense of humour. I would add, the entertainment and music finishes around 11pm at night. It’s very difficult to get to sleep before that time as the music and entertainment is still going on, people are loud even after that time, so if your children need an early night I wouldn’t recommend. Overall, the hotel is good but definitely is room for improvement.

Hotel is basic and very average however… it gets worse…. The sun beds are only available at 10am, when the ‘pool man raises his hand’ and it turns into the hunger games. This morning myself and a group of 10 ladies were getting our beds. A man, physically assaulted myself, my son and my cousin. He punched me in the chest for a bed, raised his fists to my 8 year old, threw another lady on the ground. I asked reception to call the police and said I felt extremely uncomfortable sat 50 yards from a man who’s physically assaulted women in a hotel on holiday…. I also asked for him to be removed. I went back to reception and was told they were dealing with it 5 times… this evening the same man is sat on the next table. Absolutely outrageous that we are made to feel scared on a family holiday and that you have allowed an assault on your premises of which you clearly condone such behaviour. Will never ever recommend or return, my children are petrified! Can’t wait to go home and will be calling the police myself in the morning.

Had a brilliant time as a family of 19 people. Plenty of beds by the pool, rooms were very spacious and clean. Poolside bar food was brilliant, however cost for a large Coca Cola was €3.50. The pool bar stops serving food at 5pm which is wayy too early, as the inside bar only does pizzas then until they open at 7pm. Nice walking distance from the beach and pool was always spotless. Big shout out to the entertainment crew, they were incredible the whole week especially Silvia!

Stayed here for 10 days and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff are friendly and speak English. Great pool with a bar and plenty of sun beds around it. Happy hour is 5 till 7 and they have some entertainment on every day (except Sunday). There's a big shopping centre next to the complex which is handy. There's a football pitch, basketball court, table tennis, pool table, air hockey and also there's a games room down in the basement, so plenty for the kids to keep them occupied.

Nice apartments we had a very enjoyable holiday which I stayed with my family for the second time a good mix or Moroccan Irish and English Spanish met the same people that were there at the same time two years ago and come at the same time every year .the hotel very clean and not overcrowded. The pool entertainment is good fun with pool games throughout the day and quiz games and a kids club for the small ones light evening entertainment. The food in the restaurant and pool bar wasn't great but exceptable We eat out every night and were spoilt for choice with the shopping center right next door and a 10 minute walk to the famous fish street Where the is lots of different choices of restaurants and bars with vibrant atmosphere .I'm probably going to book again for next year. I would like to thank all of the staff who were amazing.

Stayed here for a 10 day break after previous staying here. On first day Lifeguard gave our boys two blow up rings, Unfortunately, these popped so we replaced them for slightly smaller ones but apparently these were not allowed in the pool after a previous five days of using rings, just because these were now not allowed!! even though other people were using rings, the lifeguard could not tell us what size was allowed in the pool!! 🚫 nor are footballs or frisbee… Even though I saw people using these too… not consistent with their rules!!! Reception told us not all lifeguards follow the same rules… Unfortunately we got the jobs worth. Even though they’re signage saying no footballs the lifeguard told us that these were out of date rules, rules were made by management and management said rules were made by lifeguards… who knows, made up on the day depending on who’s working. I would definitely get it if there was a lot of people in the pool at the time, but there was hardly anyone in there. This meant my younger son couldn’t use the deep-end which ruined our holiday. If you want a fun family holiday, this is probably not the place unless your kids like swimming lengths up and down the pool. The food is cheap and not all that!! There is a hyper market over the road which is better quality. The way they dealt with this issue unfortunately we would not stay here again, wish I’d read some of the other reviews before I rebooked it.

If the htel seems of good quality/ price, for the first night in the hotel I have the followig poitto raise: the room and the terrasse are 100%, but in the evening while we were at the hotel s restaurant we got a phone call from the réception (Monika) requesting us to urgently bring down the trolley used to bring our luggage (and was left in the room by the same Monika). We are both disable and when I I told her that we are thus unable to do so, while still in the restaurant as well, she heavily insisted and than just hung off, Please teach her customer relations and politeness, This receptionist is not suited for a 3 star hotel,

Really enjoyed our stay in the Pyr hotel. Great location near everything you need to make your holiday memorable. 3 negatives, the lifts are very slow so if you need a lift to get up and down you will be waiting. And they charge you for parking which is really unacceptable because you are a paying guest. At the end of the day the pool was filthy so I opted not to use it.

We love the location of this hotel and have stayed here 4 times now, first time of breakfast couldn’t fault plenty to choose from, on site pool fab can get busy on the loungers but we never didn’t get out to the pool, plenty of food places to eat away from the hotel. Hotel room we had a one bed apartment - plenty of room, updated shower, air con, mini kitchen. Only downside is next time we stay we won’t be wanting the lower floor rooms that back onto the pool - on a night time there are two clubs (for men) which wasn’t really for my kids eyes when sat out on the balcony which isn’t the hotels fault - they can’t control the clubs in the vicinity. Everything is great about the hotel, staff are so friendly and helpful and the daily cleaners that we saw were super. Will be back again later this year hopefully

This hotel is brilliant for tourists and visitors of all walks, the rooms are spacious with bedrooms being in separate rooms unlike the studio type hotels people are so used to, the bedroom door is also lockable including the main door to the room obviously. The room consisted of amenities such as a cleaning kit at the kitchen sink for the washing machine, dishwasher and sponge, soaps and towels were also provided so it’s quite a nice touch. The beds are memory foam & so are the pillows with your head sinking into it. Thin sheet on the bed as usual or a thicker duvet is also available in the room. The room consisted of two AC units within the room, one in the bedroom & the other in the main room. Plenty of storage, a massive cold fridge, tv, dining table, balcony with seating & safe within the bedroom. The bar downstairs is absolutely brilliant. The staff are super friendly and the pizza is amazing, being a fussy eater I was more than impressed. The hotel has lifts & stairs & service is straight on point. The hotel also prohibits those kind who reserve sun beds with towels, meaning if it’s free it’s free which is a blessing & during our stay we didn’t see the usual suspects at 5am with towels and entitlement so it’s a chilled environment. There’s also a supermarket round the corner which you could buy some supplies for your holiday and train station just 5 minutes down the road to visit all local areas or arrive at via the airport no need for taxis. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. A big thank you to the hotel and all its staff.

Excellent apartments, clean, well equipped, well organised, this place has everything one needs for a relaxing holiday. Central location, near all the bars and restaurants, well placed for sightseeing and walking distance to the beach. There is a train station nearby serving the airport and coastal towns, so ideal if you aren't planning to drive. Swimming pool is lovely, if on the small side, but it's still fine.

Very spacious appartements and amazing location. However, there were a lot of small cockroaches in the kitchen and bedroom, the floor was not clean at our arival and the sofas full of sand (maybe from the previous guests). The staff of the reception are very nice and helpful however, the ones of the swimming pool are super unpleasant.

Unhygienic rooms ,full of cockroaches everywhere, dirty when we arrived and sand on the sofa and chairs, both apartments we rented were really bad .the reception try them best but sadly not much they could do, we spend 3000 € in renting 2 apartments for 2 weeks holiday and best they could do, was to offer us if we find another hotel they refound the nights we can't sleep at the hotel because of the cockroaches on beds. Unfortunately we couldn't find another hotel so we have nowhere else to go until this nightmare of a holiday end.

The hotel pool staff were terrible,on their phones not watching the pool, shouting at kids forcing kids to play Volleyball litrally under a meter, Banning floaties. Lifeguards smoking in the pool area. A woman lifeguard allows their children to do what ever they want and removing peoples towels from the sun beds! Allowing babies in the pool when people throw rock-hard volleyballs! Babies have their on pool that litrally no on uses. The WIFI is terrible! Even other hotels have Bitter wifi then this! This isnt the 2000s get better wifi. A/C leaking water. Terrible hotel.

Well located boutique hotel. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Beware of the parking. Anything bigger then a fiat panda and you will scrape around the incredibly tight and sharp corners getting in and out. I had a ford focus and its was a nightmare. I'm one of many who ended up scrapping their sides! Better to lay a little extra and park on the street or in the local municipality parking lot behind the hotel.

While this hotel is centrally located in Marbella, the rooms are not as they appear in the photos and the service was also more than disappointing. I check into El Faro with my son, who has a serious chronic health condition, and found our non smoking room smelled terribly of smoke triggering a significant asthma attack in my son. I called the concierge while my son waited on the balcony and the concierge conceded that there was a bad smell but insisted it was only paint- as a former smoker myself I can recognize the smell of stale smoke in a room. He offered us the only other available room but that too smelled strange and had the same low quality bedding and feel so we opted not to stay. Having made the reservation through a third party vendor we needed a letter from the hotel indicating we had not stayed there in order to recoup the payment for the 3 nights we had booked. Although I was told by two different hotel employees that the manager needed to help with this, no one could/would put me in touch with the manager directly and all 3 of my emails went unanswered. I finally disputed the charge through my credit card and happily recouped my expenses that way. It is unfortunate that this issue couldn't be resolved more easily and directly. I presented my concern and request thoughtfully and with appreciation for their efforts and the positive aspects of their lodging so as not to offend but, in the end, even the kindest and most careful approach was ignored. I know this hotel gets good ratings from other customers but, this particular experience aside, based on the furnishings and room quality that baffles me.

Excellent location, excellent staff, clean, spacious, comfortable rooms and a great pool, all within 5 minutes walk of the sea. The pool is a little close to the main coast road, but a privacy fence does a pretty good job of allowing you to ignore it. Stayed for a couple of nights and were very impressed by the whole operation. The staff were among the best hotel staff I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with, regardless of role. The art in the lobby is stunning. Even smaller details, like the breakfast (included for us) was top notch. A wonderful stay and highly recommended.

Great location and clean large rooms but very very noisy. Can hear people above you, in the corridors, the room was next to the cleaning cupboard and there was so much noise from early hours, and the restaurant downstairs has live music multiple nights a week until almost midnight. Not what you’d expect when on a business trip and enough to ruin my experience at this hotel.

Visited in June 2024. This is a very large hotel that is made up in blocks; several blocks of rooms, accessed from the main block where you find the reception, dining and communal areas. The rooms are very comfortable and large albeit quite standard interiorwise given the price. Annoyingly the double beds are made up of separate beds pushed together, meaning you have an uncomfortable central line when trying the sleep. The bathroom only has a shower plus the obvious toilet, sinks and mirror. Again, it's all OK / standard. Also, we found the TV automatically coming on when you put the room key card in the slot annoying as we're the loud chimes that came with it. The breakfast is great and water is available throughout the day. There are two pools (1 a shallow kiddies pool the other an adults pool) areas with loungers available and you can get hotel pool towels. There is a pool bar for outside drinks while relaxing around the pool and behind the bar there is an old (poor condition) tennis court. The hotel's location is great as it is easy walking distance to the port area and other central areas. The staff are friendly and have luggage storage facilities if you need to check out before you need to leave for the airport.

I booked Mon to Fri, the Hotel is in a great location, with easy access to a local train station, easy reach of some lovely towns. The pool was spotless and cleaned regularly. We had breakfast each morning, and an amazing selection of fresh food was available. We had lunch at the outside bar, and the food was also excellent. The service from the staff has been excellent. Including the room cleaning service. The only thing I was keen on was the room itself, outdated, but none the less well maintained. I would be happy to stay again in the future had a great relaxing time.

So we picked this hotel all inclusive and it was cheap, we stayed there 4 nights and here’s my thoughts. As someone who works at a hotel I did not see any type of hospitality from the receptionists specifically the one who we checked in with. Usually when the hotel door opens you look at your guests and great them with a smile . The room was just an OK room definitely needed renovation so does the whole hotel. The restaurant has its ups and downs, i think the food was great, there was a lot of different kind of food and I loved that you don’t get the same food everyday so you don’t get tired, I also loved the idea of the chef coming out and making omelettes or frying more chicken... At the restaurant maybe there were only 3 sweet waiters specifically the old lady was so nice and smiling every time I looked at her and she was greeting everyone otherwise the rest looked so angry all the time even when I look and smile and say hola they just don’t care. So the problem with this hotel is the lack of hospitality and it’s a bit too old but that doesn’t mean that I won’t come back again when I have the chance just hopefully they will do something about the receptionists

For what I paid I expected nothing and was pleasantly surprised. Only booked for 1 night for its proximity to the airport and public transport. Not too long of a walk from the beach, pool, and nightly activities. They had flamenco dancers the night we were there. Great value.

The room was clean and comfortable but noisier than I expected, sounds were coming especially from the floor and bathroom. Breakfast was good, but coffee and soft drinks from the machine weren’t. The pool area is also nice. Airport and train c-1 station is very close.

I was very dissapointed with this hotel. I don't consider it offers 3* conditions. Although we announced we'll have an 8 months old baby with us, we were offered a room in the dinosaur building, which was old and very far from the one with the restaurant and the reception. And it didn't have an elevator, either, which made things complicated. But that wasn't the main issue. The furniture was old and there was a strong mold smell in the air. We asked for another room, but we encountered the same problem. After lots of discussions and the help of the tourism agency we bought the tickets from, we got a room in the reception building, which made things a lot easier for us. But the first 2 days were not nice at all. Also, the food was average to poor. I do not recommend this hotel.

My advice would be if your not all inclusive or need space don't visit this hotel!. Unfortunately the rooms despite being comfortable are as small as they come and ridiculous for a family of 4 to stay in. The area is lovely and quite with a quaint beach 8 mins walk away, however should you wish to taste the Spanish cuisine there are very few places to eat and nothing to shout about, you can however grab a local bus to Marbella centre for €1.20 where you will find everything you need. The staff in the hotel are friendly the cleaner's are especially good at there job, the facilities are OK however this is a very child friendly hotel that caters more for younger children and are sometimes more safety then fun! for example no inflatables in the pool, the life gaurd follows you close without a smile which is a little uncomfortable. Unfortunately the entertainment on site really sucks! That's of course when there's entertainment most evenings the hotel is dead. If you have English children wanting to join in on clubs through out the day they won't because of the language barrier it's a very Spanish hotel. All in all you get what you pay for its cheap, friendly and clean.

I would not recommend this hotel to those with a young family. The hotel will charge you £180 to upgrade to a room with a balcony which is outrageous when those with young children require a balcony to dry towels etc.. 99% of the guests are Spanish and they don't mix with English guests. The beach is private, and you are charged €6 - €12 each time for a sun lounge. The walk to the beach from the hotel is very far although the beach is amazing / stunning. There is NO rep, and so you no nothing about what the area has to offer, and none of the staff offer up any information on what there is to do. The country is very very expensive, and to travel by taxi, you are looking at £20 - £25 per trip, each way. Some taxi drivers will deliberately drive the longer way, to gain more money, and they will not take five passengers within their taxi, which means larger families are stuck in the hotel, or have to have two taxis or take the bus when going out. The bus service however is great, and you can get to most places within 20 / 30 mins. I witnessed an issue where a couple with three small children missed their transfer and flight, and the hotel did nothing to support them. I had to get involved and demanded they at least fed their children who where hungry, crying and distressed. At one point my friend offered to pay for their meals, but the manager changed his mind and allowed them to eat for free, after we reminded him that most of the food would be thrown in the bin. They had to stay for another two nights which they had to pay for. The staff and mangement kept saying, "its your problem not ours". which is a very unhelpful & unprofessional service to offer guests when they are in a crisis, it was late evening, and all you they required was somone to reassure them everything is going to be okay. They only seem to bend over backwards for their fellow Spanish guests. The positives are that the rooms are cleaned daily, the breakfast is excellent, and the beach is stunning..If you book.... DONT SAY YOU WHERE NOT WARNED!!!

We had a cozy room with a nice view. The food was also good. There were no gluten-free breads or cakes, but when I asked the waiters, they showed me what I can eat. They also had some gluten-free breads or cookies in store, so I could get when I asked for. Probably the only thing bothering us was, that the hotel is far from the civilization. I mean we were far from the center of Marbella, even by bus. Plus the highway was also too close to the hotel, and there was no place to go to get a drink in the evening. At least there was a supermarket nearby, and a pharmacy we did not need, but you know, just in case. :)

Fair price for a standard 3* hotel - HONEST REVIEW: POSITIVES: - definitely the place, it's right on a beach, with restaurants and shops nearby - close to Torremolinos centre - VERY helpful reception staff - good equipment in kitchen (no cleaning supplies) - quite comfortable beds - daily cleaning, towel change - updated bathrooms! This was a positive surprise. NEGATIVES: - old hotel, the rooms are no way 77m²!! This is a lie.. - the carpets in the hallways are smelly and stained (the cleaning ladies place wet mops on the carpet after each room cleaning) - the overall look of the deco had 90's vibes with red/yellow colour scheme, cheap plastic chairs etc. - the balcony is NEVER cleaned, meaning there is sand everywhere - no toiletries in bathroom - very sad pool area, there is "grass" everywhere but mostly only dirt, which is wet and stinks. The pool chair needs to be paid for! Only 1 pool with salt water, nothing for children. This needs an update, really.. - Breakfast is ok, but for 14 EUR per person you can have a very nice meal in the beach restaurant (children 5+ must pay!) - very limited parking, if you rent a car, to find a parking spot becomes a daily nightmare - 600 rooms means there is never quiet - the evening "amusement" program is a tragicomedy. It's like the worst 10 hired from a talent show (Yes, I am talking about you, "Michael Jackson") For sleeping only and spending the whole day outside on the beach, an ideal hotel. Don't expect more! Pro-tip: ask for a room not overlooking the pool area

Asked about a kettle and was told maid would bring to room, never happened so had to boil water in pan all week. Shower fab. Friendly reception but disappointed with having to pay for sunbeds although cheaper than ones on beach.

I had a fabulous time here, and I will return. Everything was perfect, especially as a solo traveller. The pool was great, my room overlooked it so I swam every morning. The entertainment in the evening was brilliant, singers, musicians and dancers. What more can you ask for? I didn't get a chance to try the food, but it looked fine and was inexpensive. Lovely staff in all areas.

Rooms are basic, but clean, and have air con. Location is great, right on the beach front. Hotel feels like it's straight out of the 80s, sunbeds are oddly on grass, but we did not like the look of the pool so did not use it. We assumed the pools would have grass and mud in. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, my partner and I don't eat meat, and I am a vegan, I don't expect my needs catered for but the vegetable options were lacking, I believe I had beans on toast. No hash browns, tomatoes, mushrooms. Nothing looked particularly nutritious. Dinner menus didn't look appealing. We recommend Tudor rose for breakfast but there are plenty of cheap options nearby. Despite this lots of people seemed to enjoy it, mostly older people. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Not really a hotel for a young couple.

We just got here and the reception service is very bad. There is no air conditioning in common areas, so it creates an incredibly uncomfortable hotel perception. The pool is smaller than it appears in the photos. I do not recommend it. I really expected a fresh area.

Very good place to stay. Good access by car, free parking, a lot of space. Staff is VERY friendly! The pool is available until late evening. Can not comment food nor the bar, as we were not eating. We could not find a good beach nearby. Maybe it was due to the stormy weather, Salduna beach was covered in algae.

It's okay, but our friends had some critters in their room. The hotel staff said they addressed the issue, but I'm sure they did much. A rather intoxicated young lady in the lobby also was complaining about bugs in her room. Food was okay. The bathroom door left a little too much visible. You had to pay to use the safe. "€2.50 for one day or the bargain rate of €5.00 for two days".

The hotel, the rooms and the pool area are clean and tidy which is a big plus. Rooms get cleaned every day to a great standard. There’s no large variety of food but quality is acceptable. The worst thing for us was the location. The hotel is situated on the motorway between Marbella and Estepona and doesn’t offer any nice views or walks. You definitely need a car to reach nicer destinations. It takes around 15-20 minutes by car to get to Estepona and over 20-25 minutes drive to reach Marbella, unless you decide to spend all your holiday inside the hotel without visiting the surrounding areas. Clearly the staff do their best to make you enjoy the stay but we would not return because of the location.

Lovely hotel - great rooms and amenities. The breakfast is delicious, but the cooked breakfast isn't hot! Please keep it under heating lamps! The pastries / sweet selection is freshly made and delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The reception area needs to be improved though - there are no sofas or comfy waiting areas immediately near to the entrance for when you're waiting for others. The pool area is welcoming and peaceful and you can eat breakfast there in the mornings but beware of Germans putting towels out at 7am to reserve sunbeds. Admittedly probably others from the UK too.. pool doesn't open til 10! Additionally the hotel car park - it is very small and difficult to navigate. Even with a small car we found it challenging. If you are renting a car please take this into consideration. Otherwise would recommend!

The personal is nice, the room was OK, it's nice to be close to the beach, on the other hand, it was also very loud because of the main road in the back. The only issue that was not solved during our stay was the stench from the sewer. This was really an issue 😕

Myself and my daughter had a great stay at this hotel. We enjoyed the plentiful breakfast and found all of the hotel staff to be friendly, approachable and helpful. The pool area is small but it was never an issue if you wanted a sun bed, maybe different in peak season though. Pool bar is good, as were the mojitos :) Our room was made daily and found the hotel to be generally clean and well kept. The location is good, opposite the beach and a 15 minute stroll from the city and mariner area (both must be visited!). There is a road which may be in issue if you have a room overlooking it. I wouldn't class this as 'Boutiquey' but maybe it is for Spain. All in all I would recommend and would happily return :)

We used the hotel bikes to fly around the city going for meals, activities, etc. Great value considering location & amenities :)

Lovely location by the beach and short walk to shops, restaurants and the marina. Our apartment was lovely with a great balcony overlooking the sea. Pool area is large and well kept with slides etc, though we only had use of these for two days with it being end of season. Overall, it was a llovely holiday!

Location is excellent. Our privately rented room was at a good standard too. Swimming pools were great & overall in good condition as were the grounds around the hotel. However, the swim up bar was closed and the hotel lacked some sort of atmosphere. I understand it’s a family hotel ( we had kids) but the swim up bar was closed without notice which was a massive shame. No music around the hotel at all. Reception wasn’t particularly pleasant. The guy with the ponytail seemed to be upset all the time. To be polite it’s the basics of customer service.
