We just got home yesterday after a fantastic 1 week stay. Hotel room lovely and clean, modern bathroom and great sea view on the balcony. Food was delicious with lots of choice. Staff all really friendly and the entertainment team were great fun. I was very happy with my darts certificate! Location wise, brilliant, with the beach moments away. Our first all inclusive holiday and we would love to return 🙂

The hotel is a nice hotel, that consistenly outputs the same quality. It is nothing fancy and wild, but it is not cheap and dirty either. I would dare say it is both money well spent and a pleasant experience. The food is what you would expect from the price you pay, it has some variety, with certain dishes being switched daily, but they also have a lot of stables. Good for picky eaters and adventurous people. The rooms are decent, and cleaned daily by a very nice staff. The bar for all inclusive is also decent, you can get drunk if you want, and they give access to cold water, so you can fill a bottle going on a trip or drinking in your room. The water from the bathroom in my hotel room was also drinkable though a little chlorine tasting. The pool is also big and well maintained. TLDR: - Overall very decent - Decent food - Decent rooms (few outlets) - Decent pool - Decent bar - Nice staff

First off, the rooms are basic but have everything you really need. The service was good, with towels changed on a regular basis. Friendly and helpful staff, which was good. Have to admit the food was excellent and a lot of choice which surprised me. Wonderful location, literally a stones throw from the beach. I would definitely go back there again.

Excellent Hotel. Location is right in between both Benalmádena and Torremolinos. The Hotel is very Clean with reasonable size rooms and small balcony. There was a large pool with a separate Children's pool. Plenty of sun loungers and with umbrellas too. Entertainment staff always gave 100%. Can not comment on the children's club as we didn't use this. I would recommend joining in the activities around the pool and hotel as they were great fun. You get the chance to win bottles of Champagne! The staff were very friendly and always service with a smile. The kitchen staff were always very helpful in making sure I was told food that was Gluten Free. There was always plenty of food options that I was able to have that was Gluten Free unlike most all- inclusive hotels I have been in the past. Its about a 20 min walk to the Benalmádena/Arroyo De La Miel Train station through a lovely Park. 5 min walk to the beach and a little further to the Port which is very pretty.

My stay at Palia La Roca Hotel in Spain was an absolute disaster. The hotel was overrun by a group of asocial British guests who made the atmosphere unpleasant and tense for everyone. Their loud and obnoxious behavior ruined what should have been a peaceful vacation. But the worst part was the cleaning staff. They started their work at the crack of dawn, making an outrageous amount of noise. Doors were constantly slammed, loud conversations echoed through the halls, and vacuum cleaners roared incessantly. It was as if they had no regard for the fact that guests were trying to sleep. I complained to the hotel management multiple times, hoping they would address the issue and provide some relief. However, my complaints were completely ignored. The staff showed no concern and offered no solutions or apologies. Instead of the restful vacation I had hoped for, I left feeling more stressed and exhausted than when I arrived. If you value your sleep and expect any level of customer service, avoid Palia La Roca Hotel at all costs. This place is a nightmare, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Found this hotel through travel app with a very good price. Decided to book and didn’t expected much but turns out the hotel was great! The room was spacious and clean even though the aircon didn’t work when I checked in. Called the concierge and they sent someone right away. Ordered some food and drinks, it taste nice with reasonable price. They provide shuttle services to some beach club but I didn’t try it. Maybe next time!

5 or 6 out of 10 over all. Positives - The rooftop pools are nice, even if the surrounding view isn't very special. The bed was large and comfortable, the air con worked well, and there was plenty of storage room. The staff were all lovely. Gym is decent! Negatives - The location isn't that great at all for a holiday base. If you don't mind taking a taxi for a few minutes every time you want to go to the beach area it's ok, but...Right outside of the hotel is an extremely busy road. It's not exactly a relaxing holiday feeling. The hotel area in general is also a bit dark and dingy. The rooftop bar was really bad. No fans or aircon working & just no atmosphere at all. More like a canteen. There aren't enough sun beds with umbrellas considering the size of the hotel.

Unacceptable Late Night Payment Demand Very disappointed. I booked 3 rooms for my honor guest, and the experience was highly disappointing. Despite informing the staff that we would clear the bill upon check-out, they repeatedly pushed us to pay during our rest hours at night. While I understand that the hotel has standard operating procedures (SOPs), it was extremely inconsiderate to disturb guests during their rest hours for payment. This could have been easily addressed during the day or at check-out. The continuous late-night requests were unnecessary and showed a lack of respect for guest comfort and privacy. This created an unpleasant and stressful environment, making it difficult for my guest to enjoy their stay. Please revise your hotel policies to prioritize guest comfort and handle billing issues at more appropriate times. Improving communication and considering the convenience of guests would greatly enhance the overall experience.

They don’t change your bed sheets. We went to the beach and left some sand on the sheets when we came back the bed was made but there was still sand on it. They don’t give enough towels and the deluxe rooms are located next to a rooster house so you will never sleep because of those damn roosters. Would not recommend.

Stay for 5 night. And for the last night my room was only replaced the aminities not the sheet of bed. They claim my status room is do not distrubt but im pretty sure before leaving I ready set status as cleaning on the door. This is made me unconfortable. Please improve your communication between the staff

Everyone is so friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. Food is great. So much variety. I will definitely come back here again. The beach is across the road and the hotel faces the sea. Communal areas are so clean. It's cash free so bear that in mind. Love Fuengirola and love this hotel 🛏️🏨❤️

We have been to a Globales group hotel before, so when picking a hotel in Fuengirola, it seemed the one to pick after the excellent service, food, and overall experience we had last time. Check-in was painless and room ready, and the seventh floor, where the view was great ( see pic ) Seeing we were half board and we arrived at 2 pm, couldn't use the restaurant but was offered All inclusive, pay for 5 and get 7, we declinned. Price wasn't given. Later that day, we had an hour on the sun beds before shower and evening meal. There are lots of sun beds even in the morning. Food at the evening was okay but could have been a lot hotter, and when a tray was empty, it should have been refilled. Sadly, if you went late, this didn't happen. That was the same at breakfast. This let down the hotel greatly Food is important !!!! We didn't see any entertainment, but there was some every night. After 10 p.m., adults only A little away from the main town but bus service good and only 1.20 euros one way Taxi back 10. Would I go back? Probably not Gardens, room, brilliant shower, and hotel staff very happy to help though

Stay away from this hotel! Bad air conditioning, room was hot and humid. They "repaired" it twice. Could not sleep well. Did not offer to change room (probably all rooms are bad). Dirty towels, they did not change after last guest. Except for the room and staff everything else was good. Food was good. Location was good. Facilities were good. Checked out early because could not sleep well.

Rooms cleaned daily, if you go all inclusive there's lots of food but most of it is bland and tasteless. Recommend getting food cooked fresh.Reception staff smile take your money and lie. NOTHING is all inclusive. I paid for an All inclusive day for my daughter and Grandchildren, extra for food . They went for breakfast and loudly in front of about 200 guests were told to leave as breakfast was not included. When we said we had paid we were told," It's just the way it is".

Stayed all inclusive with a group the location of the hotel is amazing, some staff were rude whilst others were absolutely lovely big thank you to housekeeping and the bar staff in the entertainment area, sometime it seemed as if they were short staffed. Food was medeoker at best and took a while to be replenished if at all, the fresh station was great if not too busy, the one day there was a lovely chicken but the rest of the time there was barely anything I would eat other then chips and salad. No hairdryer or kettle I get it's 3 star but you'd think this was a basic necessity, you can hire one though. Beds are very firm so if it's not your comfort level you won't sleep 😴 Overall the location was great but I wouldn't return to this particular hotel

Perfectly located to access the sea front and bars and restaurants all close by. Tasty breakfasts were served with tea included in price. Apartment was clean and functional and staff were friendly and helpful. We're already planning our 3rd visit of the year. Thanks to the management and staff and looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Start off by saying this isn't a 4 star apartment block, it doesn't say it is, it is a cheap budget stay and I'd happily pay the same again in August. Room had a bed, shower and air con that worked great. I'm not on hols to stay in the room so it did it's job. Friendly staff throughout. Pool by the day is fantastic, clean, warm... and the fries are cracking 👌 Only negative comment I can make is the bar doesn't have the entertainment it still advertises within. Came for a drink with friends in May (stag do) and we enjoyed our brief stay, kinda led me to choose Doramar for the family hol we just returned from. Would have been nice after daily adventures to come back and enjoy a late drink with a sing song.

Don’t believe what the photos show you of the rooms! They’re cheaply made and the walls are paper thin. There is only one air-conditioning device for the entire apartment and my family of four cannot even sit at the table in the kitchen (since it’s so small). The safe requires €1 per day of use, so be ready to waste more money than you already have. The location isn’t bad, and neither is the service, but I would definitely not recommend to stay here if you have a choice. Stop letting hotels abuse tourists! The price per night of occupancy was not reflected in the quality we received.

PARTY HOTEL - do not stay here if you are a family , or even if you would like to sleep. Nightclub down stairs that doesn’t end until 2am , our floor was vibrating at one point. When it’s over everyone moves out onto the street. We had a group of men one night stand outside our window and sing for 30 mins at 3.30am , hotel staff allow this to happen. You can also hear everything in the next rooms and out onto the hallway. People screaming and shouting up halls . Rooms are horrible and outdated . Cracked windows , shower that overflows are 3 mins in it, windows that don’t close properly no English channels on tv. Beware if you go to the pool with your kids… these party’s continue during the day at the pool , a small pool area and a group of 30 men on a stage meant we couldn’t go near the pool for the three days we stayed … 3 days is all I could take we moved after this. You have to pay to lie on a sun bed, and when you approach a sun bed a man will come up screaming 3€ at you! Frightened myself and my child. And god forbid if you bring a snack from your apartment down to the pool area…. You will he crucified by said man. You get 4 towels , 2 big , 2 small for a family of three and they are to do you for your entire stay … bear in mind these apartments don’t have a washing machine or drier… or balcony to dry. For a family of three you get two single beds and a pull out bed that is filthy . Absolutely will never return and will never recommend… all 5 people leaving 5 star reviews need their heads examined!

I stayed at Apartamentos Doramar for three nights from February 12, 2024 with my wife. My impressions are very, very positive. You receive a complete apartament and it gives you the feeling of home. A bedroom and a seating area with a large sofa, a dining table with four chairs, and a smaller table opposite the sofa. This space contains a small kitchen equipped with all the necessary utensils, including a small refrigerator, and a separate bathroom. Everything is clean. The place is close to the beach, only a few minutes away, and the surrounding area has all the necessities, and the main street and transportation buses are less than a hundred meters away. The staff is calm, courteous, and accommodates all normal requests. A taxi can be requested through the administration staff, at competitive prices, and it will arrive within minutes. The stay was very comfortable, and I would like to say thank you to the nice staff. I would definitely recommend it to others, and if I return to visit the place, I'll be lucky to find a vacant spot.

This was simply the best holiday! Sol Timor apartments are amazing, great location, clean and helpful staff. The entertainment team are amazing! John and the team go above and beyond, the entertainment is by far the best I have seen at hotel. Great family hotel. Recommend you try the Rose and Crown, great wee bar and nice food. They have a drag show on a Monday night highly recommend. If I could fault one thing and it's only small, we had a late transfer and there was nowhere we could freshen up before our flight. We will definitely be back

Service great location great. Just be aware of the Blue Drinks Tokens complete scam don't buy cups at the pool bar because you won't get refunded for them at the end of the holiday you will be left with a load of blue tokens which cost €1 each and accumulate over the holiday the bar send you to the reception the reception send you to the bar and will not refund you even one of the staff told us it was a scam. (Edit) I purchased extra drinks over my 3 tokens given to me and they cost €1 each and then you do not receive you're money back after they are finished with just get given a token which cannot be exchanged for the €1 you originally pay.

Sol Timor is in need of some TLC, paint work really needs attention. Breakfast was nice but dinner was dreadful, poor variety of food, next to no choice for kids. Pool area was good, although you are prohibited from using floating devices. Kids team are excellent, Pablo and Carol and the team are fantastic with the kids try and get everyone involved. Need to get a better variation in entertainment, singers in the evening and at night. Great location, right beside the beach and a 2 min walk to the Marina and Restaurants.

The room was satisfactory but the staff, pool activities and entertainment made up for this. Montse was superb. She was a wonderful exercise instructor and was so tolerant of my attempts at Spanish. John was also beautiful. He was a lot of fun. All the staff work tirelessly to give a wonderful holiday.

5 of us arrived at Sol Timor on 3/7/24 just before midnight and waited at reception for about 10 minutes to be given access to the room and the room was clean and tidy and adequate. We all went down every morning for breakfast and the breakfast was fine with a large choice of different foods and was clean and tidy with great service. We all went to the swimming pool everyday which was lovely and spent the day by the pool which had some great fun activities during the day for everyone. We met the hotel reps and everyone of them was very lovely and happy but the hotel rep called Pablo was really great fun and very funny and all our 3 teenagers loved him bits and to be honest we did too. We all had dinner in the evenings at the hotel which had a large choice of different food which was all ok with different desserts. In the evenings we sat outside at the bar and had drinks and the hotel had very great entertainment every evening. During the day and in the evening the hotel rips are everywhere and always making you laugh all day. Everyday we spent sometime with Pablo and we even went to the bar on the beach and watch the football match with Spain beating France with Pablo and the other hotel reps and hotel guests and with loads of other Spanish people and the atmosphere was amazing. When it was time to go back to the UK the children did not want to go home because they had such an amazing holiday and we had a few tears because they absolutely loved the holiday and Pablo and the other holiday reps. We are definitely going back next year for even longer because we all had such a great holiday with so many laughs. We would like to give a special thanks to Pablo for making the holiday a amazing holiday everyday and all the other holiday reps xx #Jack ❤️🇪🇦

Visited here for 4 nights in August with my husband as an early birthday trip for him. We were greeted at reception by a kind, smiling lady. She checked us in and informed us that though we hadn’t booked one, we had been upgraded to a pool view room. The room itself was bright, airy and clean. The large balcony was unbelievable with gorgeous views. The cleaning staff were so courteous and did an excellent job. The pool area was well maintained with plenty of staff around the area to monitor sunbeds, lifeguard, serve drinks, etc. our absolute favourite was the cabana beds facing the sea. The male staff member who looked after these was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. He actually made our holiday. He looked after us and gave us 5 star service. A lot of work has been done to the hotel since we last visited and it really really shows. The facilities are immaculate and we already cannot wait to return in May 2025.

Was worried after reading some of the reviews. But i have to say, Amazing hotel. Amazing and such friendly staff they made my wife and our baby son so welcome everyone went above and beyond. Our baby will miss all the attention from staff he was always looking out for them in their uniform to give a smile and a wave. Rooms lovely and clean each day. The service I'm this hotel is amazing it is just spot on. Food is good with plenty of choice Would recommend to anyone. Great location in the middle of everything and right on the seafront. The massage is highly recommended, had feet done for me and the wife, wow amazing! Would recommend paying the 20 euros for the beds for the day waiter service is exceptional Great.

Can only share my experience of the rooftop bar as we were nit staying at the la barracuda. Roof top bar has spectacular views, beautiful layout of seats. We got 5 drinks for 20€, 4 being soft drinks and one alcoholic. Would go back.

Good Hotel, central location, decent breakfast buffet. Rooms floor not hoovered nor cleaned at all. Only towels and bed sheets were changed when dirty. Which is a good thing. No kettle in the room and you have to rent it for the duration of your stay. Aside from that the hotel is good, the swimming pool is nice, and the terrace is beautiful and clean. Staff are all friendly and helpful. With just a little more effort this hotel can be much better. Keep up the good work.

Old and dirty. Litter in the room after previous guests. Very different from pictures. Food is good. Personnel in the restaurant is very pleasant. At reception not so much. One of the animators (bald Spanish guy) is an absolute treasure! Never enough sun lounges. Those available are often very old and sometimes broken. Have to wait for half an hour till someone frees theirs up. At the same time the paid area with beds is empty. At least give that one to the waiting guests if you can’t afford enough lounges.

Very clean hotel and staff very friendly and helpful. Great walk in powerful shower ...rooms cleaned daily. Nice balcony with a lovely view. Lovely rooftop pool with sky bar. Our one complaint is about the air conditioning...it is not extra to pay for but in all honesty it is non existent! We stayed in August and it was very hot but our room was never cool, night or day. The aircon units look very dated and maybe need upgraded. It is a shame because it would put me off staying here again, as it was difficult to sleep at night. Our daughter's room was the same. However, if this was improved we would have no hesitation to return.

This hotel is absolutely vile, dirty, disgusting. I have come home with bites on my face and butt from bugs that were crawling around the bed and sides. Filthy room when we arrived and stayed filthy throughout, didn’t even change our bed cos we left a couple of items on it. They had no regard for our disgusting issues reported. The reception staff were so rude, one man was screaming in my face when I asked for details for formal complaints (I’m a 5ft woman). I am fighting for a full refund, DO NOT STAY HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT. Lifts are slow, whole place stinks. I payed for breakfast included and didn’t dare eat in this unsanitary hell hole. The shower was broken so that it sprayed directly in the face, so we literally had to hand hold the shower to wash. Reported this to reception and absolutely nothing was done. An absolutely vile hotel I am in shock

Location and the sea view are very good. But we couldn't sleep well because of the bad insulation. You will hear people in front of the room at night or in the morning. Also you will hear TV or talking people next rooms. Also I'm surprised that they charge you for every thing like pool towels, safe case or kettle. This hotel could be perfect if they could make rooms better insulated. But we won't prefer it again since we want to sleep well during our holiday.

We booked a double room with balcony and Seaview. The location of the hotel is excellent directly opposite the beach. However room 722 was tired and very small as per a previous review, the soundproofing was terrible, constant door banging and talking from other guests roons. Also at night there was a lot cars reving up outside and cruising around to show off the vehicles. We tried to change our room but was told they were all the same size and standard. After 2 sleepless nights we left. (We were booked in for 4 nights).

We stayed in a suite as a family of 4 for 13 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The suite consisted of 2 rooms and a bathroom and was comfortable and spacious. All rooms could be closed with doors, and both bedrooms had a balcony with a perfect view of the sea. There was plenty of space to stow away our belongings in wardrobes, with both shelves and space to hang clothes. We also had a fridge, which was not clear to us from the description when we booked it, which was a pleasant surprise. Our suite was cleaned daily, and generally the hotel was very clean. The only improvement we can think of would be a laundry line on the balcony (similarly to the ones available in the Pierre & Vacances hotel in Salou), but this was not a big issue as we left our swimwear and towels to dry on the outside furniture. We had breakfast in the hotel every day and the selection was excellent. The breakfast room was quite busy around 9:30-10:30 but it was well managed by the hotel staff. We also used the swimming pool three times - it is true that there aren't many sunbeds, in particular in the shadow, so those are gone early, but we chose to use the pool on rest days and queued at the gate in the morning just before it opened so we could secure a place in the shadow with the kids. The location of the hotel couldn't be any better as it is right by the beach, and there are a number of excellent beaches in walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants close by, and the train station is about 8 minutes away. Fuengirola is a terminal and the train line takes you to a number of places along the Costa del Sol, all the way to Malaga. We took a trip to Benalmadena and Carvajal to explore the beaches there, and also went on a hike after taking the funicular from Arroyo de Miel. Overall, the hotel is perfect for just a beach holiday on the Costa del Sol or to explore the area a bit more. We would also highly recommend this hotel for families with kids.

For the price I can’t fault this hotel, I wasn’t expecting much, it definitely exceeded my expectation. Firstly the location is perfect central to everything in town. Beach is a fairly easy walk. Rooms were very big, comfy beds, lots of storage, aircon worked fine it just took a little bit of time to cool the room, my advice. Leave a key card in the power thing in the day so your room is cool when you return. Not ideal but there are additional outlets in the bathroom to charge things, cleanliness was great through out. Nice little rooftop area for drinks and to sunbath. Very quiet considering the location. I will recommended to anyone looking for a cheap getaway in the sun.

Perfect location in the middle of the town, close to trains and bus stops, cafes and shops. Room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, and a nice continental style brekky each morning. I recommend this hotel.

Very central, close to transport, bars, restaurants, nightlife. Basic rooms but very clean ,housekeeping very good ,never tried restaurant but heard good reports, not to noisy, we had double room with big balcony was ideal , would recommend.

As soon as you arrive, you will be negatively impacted by the accommodation. 1) The air conditioning is very old; it does not cool the room. In addition to making noise, it leaves the room with a horrible odor, making it seem like there is a dead mouse in the room. So, leave your windows open to avoid this odor when you return from your trip. 2) I did not receive a double bed as I requested in my reservation. Instead, there were three single beds with thin and uncomfortable mattresses. The pillow was very thin, which caused my nose to become blocked every day. 3) You have to ask for the TV remote at reception and need to leave a provisional payment of €10 in cash to receive it. 4) At night, there are a lot of plumbing noises coming from other rooms that are very noisy and will wake you from your sleep. 5) Breakfast has few options, with the best being fruits such as melon and watermelon. As it is the first meal of the day, lighter, natural, and nutritious options could be served (e.g., eggs, bacon, cheese, fruits), avoiding industrialized cupcakes and sweet breads that look like they were bought at Dialz, and industrialized juice with a bad taste. It’s not worth paying extra for this type of breakfast, as you can find better and even more economical options outside. 6) Reception service is provided by only one employee, so be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes to ask a simple question or resolve an issue. 7) They offer late check-out until 6 pm for €35, but when you ask about it, they say there is no availability unless you buy another night, which will cost around €100. 8)There is no air conditioning in common areas such as the reception, corridors, and elevators, so be prepared to sweat a lot while waiting in a long line to be served at reception. 9) There was only one outlet in the room so we had to wake up during the night to switch our electronics Strengths: 1) Room service is good, they are very polite, honest, they changed the bed linen and towels. They didn't clean the bathroom or the floor the second time and forgot the face towel. Our belongings remained in the same place and in the same way. 2) The breakfast guy is very friendly and welcomed us very well. 3) Location is very good, close to numerous shops, restaurants, bars. Close to Torremolinos train station which goes to Malaga in 25 minutes. Bus stops nearby. 4) If you need to use laundry, we use Speed ​​Queen, a 2-minute walk away. It was very cheap and the clothes smelled really good. In short, it's a reasonable hotel for the price you pay, you can't expect much. It has a decent bed to sleep in and a bath to take a shower.

It could have been better, rooms often had a lot of defects, which the staff often did nothing with them! The view through the window was a look at the wall, the building has an old style of construction, very ill-considered.

This is a modern hotel located just outside the centre of Fuengirola. Thus far it is the best hotel where I have stayed in the town. There is a good size swimming pool and lounge area with a convenient bar. As the season progresses there is also a sky bar which is open in the evenings. Breakfast is available at €8. The rooms are well equipped and spotlessly clean but suffer from the curse of so many Spanish hotels. Thin walls. A tea and coffee tray would be a welcome addition. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within easy reach. The beach is about a five minute stroll. Staff are universally helpful. Many will think that it's worth to pay just a bit more to stay here and enjoy their time.

A good Aparthotel in Fuengirola. Easy to find but very difficult to find anywhere to park in surrounding streets,so would be wose in high season. We paid for on site parking which is very limited. Excellent warm welcome from friendly staff. Room itself was a good size and more than adequate for our needs. Bathroom small but good quality with a good shower. Small ish balcony but plenty room for table and 2 chairs. Roof bar wasn't opening till the day we leave. Pool area with a decent number of sunloungers was well looked after. All in all excellent value for money

Good budget hotel. Definitely worth the £38 a night I paid. As others have mentioned there is no sound proofing between the rooms so it can be very loud. Also cleaning is a bit hit and miss. Great location only a few minutes away from the beach.

Hotel/ apartment building. The rooms are pretty nice. They have kitchenette and laundry in the room. Location is good close to the beach and night life. Pros: room size , 2 beds and pull out couch, kitchen , balcony may have view of water. Close to grocery store. Price seems fair. Cons: bed is very stiff may be normal for Europe, pillows are very thin, parking is paid daily and no refunds. You must get rid of your trash on last day and walk to a dumpster off the property. We came for a golf trip it served its purpose but wouldn’t stay here for pleasure travel.

We have just came back from a week here we stayed in a one bedroom apartment very spacious and pool was great lifeguard there too , the restaurant down stairs was great nice food and staff also friendly reading some reviews I was sceptical of this place but honestly was such a lovely place ,I don’t think bringing the rubbish out was bad the bins were around corner ,this wasn’t an issue for us the 200 deposit was given back within 10mins of checkout , great location close to lots of restaurants and bars and small supermarket underneath so handy for water etc

Though I am a loyal client of this hotel for more than 9 years, this summer, I find myself obliged to post a negative comment concerning my bad experience, especially with the reception staff. It started first with the apartment they booked for us. A smaller flat for a higher price. We used to stay in the front sea view flats and they proposed a lateral sea view flat, on the pretext that they have no more availabilities, though I have booked the flat since March, i.e. 5 months before. However, they suggested an extra payment of 468 Euros if we want a front sea view flat as I used to stay in (crazy). I accepted staying in the first flat they suggested, and found ou that it is a small flat for two, while we were three. Next day I claimed insistently to move from that flat and to be lodged in a larger one. Finally, they accepted. I was happy to start my holidays on the second day, but some days after, another inacceptable issue took place to spoil my holidays again. Cleaning service this time. The hotel's policy provides that cleaning is done once every two days, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. However, on the second time for cleaning, we were out of the hotel before 9 a.m. and returned at 1 p.m. No cleaning was done. As we needed to take a shower and to change clothes, we put the red card on the front side of the flat door, asking not to be disturbed, expecting the cleaning service to be provided later the same day or the day after. Surprise. No cleaning service was done the following day. That is to say no cleaning and no change of towels for 3 days. I claimed this matter with the reception staff. Surprise again. We were blamed for this problem, as we put the red card. We claimed new towels and the answer was refusal. No cleaning service and no new clean towels, until the fourth day. We thought ourselves in a military camp, where officers punish recruits. This is not worth a treatment that can be reserved to loyal or even new customers. It's a pity. I won't recommand this hotel anymore.

I would not recommend this hotel at all! Myself and my partner arrived and the staff was nice until we went to our room and seen it, it was disgusting we paid for a double bed with a sea side view and a balcony and there was no balcony. We went back down and said it and they where so rude to us, I got upset and explained we paid and showed them and said that there was nothing they can do come back down tomorrow we did and they said the same thing we tried again and again and did not get our balcony. There was holes in the curtains the shower was leaking onto the floor, there was dust all over the room and the kitchen was an old toaster and microwave. There was also a giant pillar in the room blocking there tv from the bed.The only nice thing about this hotel was the pool and the view . I would not recommend this place at all. If I could give minus stars I would.

This is the first time I comment a review, but it is just really necessary. I booked this hotel for a 9 days staying, that must be fun you think! Well I booked a really (fancy) hotelroom with a balcony or a terrace, that’s what the pictures on the internet said and the description, this was for 2 persons around 2,2k euro. I paid a full price. Well guess what all of this fancy hotel pictures are just a scam and I don’t complain fast about things, but this was the worst room I ever saw from all my vacations. So basically they put us in a hotelroom we haven’t booked and was way cheaper what we paid for, I personal think (I’m pretty sure) they never/barely clean this disgusting room. The room was to cry about, disgusting, I don’t got the booked balcony or terrace, I opened the window and it broke apart.., the bedroom door get stuck I can’t close it if I want to open it from inside, the towels/bed had spots on it… I can give you a whole list about the things that weren’t right. Ofcourse like everyone I go straight to the frontdesk to ask my booked room were I paid for, well they couldn’t give me and I had to come back later to see… after five days!! I got the booked room. I was pissed off, they don’t give any good service to compensate this big mistake that they did. I asked to do something with the price, because we paid for those 5 days for a (fancy) room that we didn’t got. But they couldn’t do anything with the price, not even the manager… They also didn’t gave me the opportunity to talk with the manager in person, or even if it is by phone. I want to fix this problem for me and for them. Because this is really gone cost them there name as a organization. I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Please find another hotel if you want to have a pleasant stay!

Hotel is in Torrequebrava - NOT in Benalmadena so you need a car or be OK to use buses. The pool area is lovely & clean. The reception area is also nice. My room was on the 10th floor and was a good size. Twin beds and a balcony with a sea view. The bed was nice & comfy and the towels were fluffy. The bathroom was tired & needed updating.... no bath, but a walk in shower. The shower pressure was poor.... it was difficult to rinse my hair. Overall, a nice hotel - if you don't mind being way out of the centre.

Came here on a trip with my school and it was not the best experience ever, staff where lovely, room was tidy and clean (besides the shower), food was pretty decent but it is not a family hotel.... I mean there where at least 100 boys from other schools flashing their "areas" and claiming they are 17 18 and 20 years old, asking for their snap and Instagram..... they proceeded to throw stuff that seemed to pop and bang (werther this was explosives or not) off of the balconies and hitting cars, pool area was lovely but the hotel is put of the benalmadena main are so be prepared to drive or to use the public transport....

Very spacious appartements and amazing location. However, there were a lot of small cockroaches in the kitchen and bedroom, the floor was not clean at our arival and the sofas full of sand (maybe from the previous guests). The staff of the reception are very nice and helpful however, the ones of the swimming pool are super unpleasant.

Excellent apartments, clean, well equipped, well organised, this place has everything one needs for a relaxing holiday. Central location, near all the bars and restaurants, well placed for sightseeing and walking distance to the beach. There is a train station nearby serving the airport and coastal towns, so ideal if you aren't planning to drive. Swimming pool is lovely, if on the small side, but it's still fine.

The hotel pool staff were terrible,on their phones not watching the pool, shouting at kids forcing kids to play Volleyball litrally under a meter, Banning floaties. Lifeguards smoking in the pool area. A woman lifeguard allows their children to do what ever they want and removing peoples towels from the sun beds! Allowing babies in the pool when people throw rock-hard volleyballs! Babies have their on pool that litrally no on uses. The WIFI is terrible! Even other hotels have Bitter wifi then this! This isnt the 2000s get better wifi. A/C leaking water. Terrible hotel.

Friendly and efficient reception staff so welcoming . Room spacious with all you need great now to have a washing up pack with essentials. We loved our few days here. The pool area is amazing and clean . This was our 2nd visit. Will definitely consider booking again next year 😃😃. Apartments are short walk to train shops restaurants and the beach.

My wife and I have stayed here about 7 times over the past 10 years, I'm surprised to find I haven't written a review! Rooms are clean, staff are always helpful, location in Los Boliches is excellent, 5/10 minute walk to the beach, bars and restaurants.Supermarket down the street! 10 min walk from train station. Highly recommend it and we're back again end of May for 17 nights. And a number of relatives now book it as well on our recommendation. I believe the pool is getting an upgrade end of May, beginning of June so....

Not a very nice place. Location is okay (right next to Torremuelle station) and staff were friendly. But the actual place was a right dump. Rooms were hot and stuffy, air conditioner was temperamental. Beds creaked like crazy also. Kitchens were dirty and poorly-equipped - only one knife, two plates (one of which had a huge crack on it), no washing up liquid, no sponges. You need to ask for a kettle from reception for some reason. We didn't spend any time by the pool, but from what we could see, there were very few deckchairs and the pool was tiny. Basically this hotel needs a good injection of money, to properly supply each room with basic utensils and crockery (it is a self-catering place after all) and tidy the whole place up. Right now it's just a dirty, run-down hole. Only reason I've given 2 not 1 is down to the staff, they were friendly and welcoming. That was the only good part about this place. I will not be staying again :(

This hotel has a lot of potential. The train station is a stone's throw away, the beach is a short walk away, the views are breathtaking, and the weather is incredible. However, with all that being said I would still not recommend this hotel to anyone. I booked a week here with my wife and son, as a nice cheap getaway. Now when you book a hotel, even a cheap one, you expect a certain level of service and facilities to be provided. We arrived at this potentially great little hotel, only to find they would not be providing a bed for our 6 month old son, a bed we had paid for and they had been aware about. The only comment we received was that they have no beds, and they will see what they can do. Our first night our son had nowhere to sleep. The next morning I approached the sleeping subject again, only to hear they would see what they could do yet again. Giving them the benefit of the doubt yet again, I allowed them several hours to source a bed for my young son to sleep on. When I went back to ask if a solution had been found, I was told that there were no beds for my son and that the manager was in a meeting and won't be back until the next day. I asked further what I was meant to do for sleeping arrangements for my son, and they said maybe tomorrow they will have a bed. For anyone who has a child or baby, you know that a few hours without sleep can be torture! The lack of care and effort for the staff at the hotel here was appalling, you would expect them to try and do something to make your stay here enjoyable. Instead what I found were employees more interested in a smoke break and coffee break than in doing their actual jobs. In the end I decided to try my luck on a wild internet search, to see what could be done. Within 3 hours, and €50 out of my own pocket, I managed to find a company who would deliver a travel cots and mattress to the hotel for me. The fact that a visitor to an area could find sleeping arrangements for a child quicker than the locals and staff is beyond me. I would not stay at this "hotel" again, and I would highly recommend anyone else to avoid this place. Calling it a hotel is an insult to hotels, it is quite possibly closer to a hostel. The bare minimum is provided if you are very lucky, and if you are unlucky not even that. I am however giving this a 2* review as I do not believe that it is all on the hotel however, a note to the manager/owner - invest in better staff and your hotel and you would have a fantastic hotel here. I attach a picture of our receipt for the travel bed as evidence that this is not a made up story.

First of all, bit far from everything. It's a god sending that there is a train station at your doorstep. Staff are ignorant, some friendly right enough. No kettle or toaster in room, we were givenue false hope that we would get one. Ended up we got one 2 days later. Bar could've stayed open longer as it shuts at 7pm. Sofa bed was uncomfortable as you had springs digging into you. Apart from that the rooms were decently clean.

Had a brilliant time as a family of 19 people. Plenty of beds by the pool, rooms were very spacious and clean. Poolside bar food was brilliant, however cost for a large Coca Cola was €3.50. The pool bar stops serving food at 5pm which is wayy too early, as the inside bar only does pizzas then until they open at 7pm. Nice walking distance from the beach and pool was always spotless. Big shout out to the entertainment crew, they were incredible the whole week especially Silvia!

Nice apartments we had a very enjoyable holiday which I stayed with my family for the second time a good mix or Moroccan Irish and English Spanish met the same people that were there at the same time two years ago and come at the same time every year .the hotel very clean and not overcrowded. The pool entertainment is good fun with pool games throughout the day and quiz games and a kids club for the small ones light evening entertainment. The food in the restaurant and pool bar wasn't great but exceptable We eat out every night and were spoilt for choice with the shopping center right next door and a 10 minute walk to the famous fish street Where the is lots of different choices of restaurants and bars with vibrant atmosphere .I'm probably going to book again for next year. I would like to thank all of the staff who were amazing.

Stayed here for 10 days and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff are friendly and speak English. Great pool with a bar and plenty of sun beds around it. Happy hour is 5 till 7 and they have some entertainment on every day (except Sunday). There's a big shopping centre next to the complex which is handy. There's a football pitch, basketball court, table tennis, pool table, air hockey and also there's a games room down in the basement, so plenty for the kids to keep them occupied.

Room was nice and clean! Location was perfect to shopping centre. Lots of activities you have to travel out by train or bus. Service was great lovley staff. Entertainment was brilliant in the day, with lots of pool activities. Perfect hotel, the only negative side is there is hardly no Entertainment on in evening for adults or children even with it being advertised that there was loads of night entertainment. We had to ask for music to be played that got refused. If any Entertainment it starts at 10pm for 30 to 45 minutes. After speaking to management, the last two days before leaving they put something on. Wouldn't return for that reasons as kids was board at the night. However, if your not looking for night entertainment it's a lovley place

Arrived at hotel at 12.30 was told room would be 45mins which was fine as check in is not until 2pm went back to reception at 13.20 to ask if there was any update was told that it would be a further 35 mins as the room was dirty and needed a deep clean. Told the receptionist that was fine and sat in front of reception desk with two kids nearly falling asleep after such an early flight. 2pm seen the receptionist going home and went and ask the new receptionist and she said the room has been ready for ages. Why wouldn't the first receptionist say to us when we were sitting in front of them, or even pass the information to the new receptionist that we had been sitting there for a reason. I did say to the receptionist that there was a family of around 10 people that had checked in after us and where already changed and at the pool and she said it's not her problem that some rooms are dirtier than others and that check in was at 2. So disinterested. Card in room states that the reception has 24-hour money exchange so I went to reception and asked if I could change some money and she said no sorry we don't change pounds to euro we only change euro to euro which makes no sense at all. I asked if she knew of anywhere nearby to change money and she just simply shrugged and said no! The whole reception staff attitudes are absolutely disgusting! The most unhelpful reception staff I have ever came across! Didn't even tell us about the WiFi code or offer a safe in the room or in fact any information at all when we checked in. Really gave a bad impression from the start! We also arrived into our deep cleaned room and had to sweep the floor and make the beds as the sheets where just left in a pile for the sofa beds. This should have been done! We had to go to the supermarket and buy washing up liquid for the dishes (definitely should be provided for self-catering!) The balcony doors don't lock and even when closed you can hear every passing car. People running up the corridors at all hours of the night. Walls are like paper can hear the neighbour snoring all night long! Cons: -Reception Staff are so unwelcoming and a major letdown as this is the staff that give the first impression! -Drink prices (€8\9.50 for cocktail 3.50 for coke) €1 for 3 ice cubes at the bar but there's no freezer in the room which there should be for self-catering) prices are cheaper basically everywhere else you go in Fuengirola. -Cleanliness in the room (bed settees stained) floors absoloutley stinking had to throw every white pair of socks in the bin! -Dishes not cleaned properly and were all greasy -Balcony doors don't lock -Noise levels at night - irregular cleaning rooms are only cleaned and towels changed every 4 days and if you're in your room they just leave fresh towels and don't come back to clean so your room isn't cleaned at all -pool only opens at 10am and there's a queue of people who then run to put towels on sunbeds and don't go on them all day. Any other holiday I would be lying on the sunbed early in the morning but it's impossible here. - nighttime entertainment is shocking most nights it was an air hockey competition for teenagers, nothing on the stage. Live singer and magician once a week rest is rubbish! Hardly ever anyone even sitting down at entertainment which just shows how bad it is. Pros: -Location (close to beach, supermarket right beside it, bus stop at front entrance into town) -Views from rooms -Entertainment staff are so friendly and inviting -Bar staff are very friendly Can honestly say we are not fussy and I cannot understand how this place has so many good reviews we travel abroad 3 times a year and this is one of the worst hotels we have stayed in I would say it's more like a 2-star hotel hence the 2-star

Beautiful hotel, brilliant staff, but as always the sunbed savers were out in force, but the good thing was, they didn't put them out til 10am so no getting up before sunrise to put your 8 towels on, so you can lay there for an hour. The food selection was extensive and nice could just do with being warmer, but there was a microwave available to use. Room's were modern and functional, bathroom was quality a shower with plenty of room.

The hotel is pretty good, however food is cold and bland. There’s some good excursions to do outside of the hotel and the rooms are good, only thing is, be careful with cockroaches. The staff are very hard working and have great sense of humour. I would add, the entertainment and music finishes around 11pm at night. It’s very difficult to get to sleep before that time as the music and entertainment is still going on, people are loud even after that time, so if your children need an early night I wouldn’t recommend. Overall, the hotel is good but definitely is room for improvement.

Hotel is basic and very average however… it gets worse…. The sun beds are only available at 10am, when the ‘pool man raises his hand’ and it turns into the hunger games. This morning myself and a group of 10 ladies were getting our beds. A man, physically assaulted myself, my son and my cousin. He punched me in the chest for a bed, raised his fists to my 8 year old, threw another lady on the ground. I asked reception to call the police and said I felt extremely uncomfortable sat 50 yards from a man who’s physically assaulted women in a hotel on holiday…. I also asked for him to be removed. I went back to reception and was told they were dealing with it 5 times… this evening the same man is sat on the next table. Absolutely outrageous that we are made to feel scared on a family holiday and that you have allowed an assault on your premises of which you clearly condone such behaviour. Will never ever recommend or return, my children are petrified! Can’t wait to go home and will be calling the police myself in the morning.

After spending 10 days at this hotel, I'd like to give an honest review in as much detail as possible. On arrival we were seen to quickly and our room was ready, even though we arrived at just after 12. First impressions of the room we were very impressed, obviously recently refurbished but still very nice and great view of the sea and the hills. Food wasn't very good most of the time but as with all buffets you can mostly find something you like amongst it, it was a bit hit and miss most days. Cocktails, for an all inclusive hotel in Spain, cocktails were shockingly bad, just came out of a machine ready mixed. I've never known this in a Spanish hotel. The beer though was san Miguel so that was ok, but the coke machine kept stopped working. All the staff were extremely hard working, they have a lot to put up with due to the general poor standard of hotel, but do it as best as they can and always with a smile. Back to the rooms, after about 5 days we started to notice ants in the room and reported it, within about 10 minutes a cleaner came up and just mopped the floor, so didn't really solve the problem. On the 2nd last day noticed a leak from the bathroom above but didn't report this as we couldn't be bothered moving room with only a couple of days left, so just put up with it which wasn't really all that often it leaked. The entertainment was almost non existent, it's as if they don't want you staying in the hotel at night because you're costing them money by drinking the all inclusive drinks. One night was flamenco dancing, the rest was just bingo and 3 or 4 songs was the kids disco. All in all it's in a nice location, it could be a very nice hotel if all the problems were ironed out, but I wouldn't stay here again as I've had much better stays in even lower starred hotels.

Nice reception area, quite nice refurbished rooms, dodgy lift where the buttons don't work correctly, cooked breakfast food was so so, the rest of the food was really very good. Internet bandwidth was great at 4am about 70mbps but hit and miss dropping out during the day suggesting inadequate bandwidth for the number of users. Entertainment staff tried very hard. Food staff really good. Very simple gym. 5 mins still to the well looked after beach. However, the worst thing was the totally inadequate supply of sun loungers around the pool. Like being back in the 1980s there was a race before 10am every single morning which often left you without a lounger. Worse than that we witnessed a fight over a sun lounger where a guy got violent with a woman and a kid to try to keep hold of the lounger. This was shameful of him but even the victims saw that it was the hotels ultimate responsibility with inadequate supply of loungers. Consider this before booking, especially if considering all inclusive because you'll end up on the beach paying for everything.

The hotel is typically 🇪🇸 Spanish, and it is really nice, all very clean. Large room with walk-in shower all lovely and clean. I was on the 2nd floor, and this was fine, nice and quiet. I visited in October 2023, and I felt very safe there. There is also a small swimming pool. Access to the hotel is via a lift, which I wasn't sure about, but it was OK. Close to the bus 🚌 station, a short walk to the train station, and about 10 minutes to the beach ⛱️

Las Rampas is in the centre of Fuengirola. About a three minute walk from the beach. It has a very individual form of design which I find attractive. The reception staff are welcoming. The bedrooms vary in layout. The well equipped bathrooms are spotless. There is a hotel restaurant. I have never found cause to complain. My only wish would be for a tea and coffee tray to be provided in the bedrooms. In terms of prices, I think that these are realistic which is probably underlined by the number of repeat guests who choose to stay at the hotel.

Of course it's a three star hotel, so it's not perfect. It's a good choice for budget conscious traveler on a perfect location. I can recommend this hotel warmly.

Rooms v basic but clean air con a must. No balcony 😢 no tea coffee facilites in the room, shared communal area. Dated hotel and building definitely needs of upgrade throughout. Lifts are v small especially for hotel to fit 3 ppl at best. Pool was super disappointing no air, v few sun loungers, actual pool area itself needs some well needed tlc, very uninviting. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location great, to be honest thats really only thing going for it. But I would deff not stay there again

While this hotel is centrally located in Marbella, the rooms are not as they appear in the photos and the service was also more than disappointing. I check into El Faro with my son, who has a serious chronic health condition, and found our non smoking room smelled terribly of smoke triggering a significant asthma attack in my son. I called the concierge while my son waited on the balcony and the concierge conceded that there was a bad smell but insisted it was only paint- as a former smoker myself I can recognize the smell of stale smoke in a room. He offered us the only other available room but that too smelled strange and had the same low quality bedding and feel so we opted not to stay. Having made the reservation through a third party vendor we needed a letter from the hotel indicating we had not stayed there in order to recoup the payment for the 3 nights we had booked. Although I was told by two different hotel employees that the manager needed to help with this, no one could/would put me in touch with the manager directly and all 3 of my emails went unanswered. I finally disputed the charge through my credit card and happily recouped my expenses that way. It is unfortunate that this issue couldn't be resolved more easily and directly. I presented my concern and request thoughtfully and with appreciation for their efforts and the positive aspects of their lodging so as not to offend but, in the end, even the kindest and most careful approach was ignored. I know this hotel gets good ratings from other customers but, this particular experience aside, based on the furnishings and room quality that baffles me.

We love the location of this hotel and have stayed here 4 times now, first time of breakfast couldn’t fault plenty to choose from, on site pool fab can get busy on the loungers but we never didn’t get out to the pool, plenty of food places to eat away from the hotel. Hotel room we had a one bed apartment - plenty of room, updated shower, air con, mini kitchen. Only downside is next time we stay we won’t be wanting the lower floor rooms that back onto the pool - on a night time there are two clubs (for men) which wasn’t really for my kids eyes when sat out on the balcony which isn’t the hotels fault - they can’t control the clubs in the vicinity. Everything is great about the hotel, staff are so friendly and helpful and the daily cleaners that we saw were super. Will be back again later this year hopefully

For a reasonable price, a reasonable and functional room. Close to all amenities, lovely pools and so very near to many large, beautiful clean sandy, family beaches. Best sunshine and temperatures thrown in for free. Beats cold May, June and whatever the UK has ATM!

Really enjoyed our stay in the Pyr hotel. Great location near everything you need to make your holiday memorable. 3 negatives, the lifts are very slow so if you need a lift to get up and down you will be waiting. And they charge you for parking which is really unacceptable because you are a paying guest. At the end of the day the pool was filthy so I opted not to use it.

Rude people who seem to own apartments in the hotel and make up rules as they go with the staff. The staff is impossible to communicate with due to the lack of service and knowledge of English. I booked Mon to Fri, the Hotel is in a great location, with easy access to a local train station, easy reach of some lovely towns. The pool was spotless and cleaned regularly. We had breakfast each morning, and an amazing selection of fresh food was available. We had lunch at the outside bar, and the food was also excellent. The service from the staff has been excellent. Including the room cleaning service. The only thing I was keen on was the room itself, outdated, but none the less well maintained. I would be happy to stay again in the future had a great relaxing time.

After reading a few bad reviews about this hotel , me , my partner and child were apprehensive to say the least about staying here for a week this August 2024. However we were pleasantly surprised , the staff were accommodating and friendly. The rooms were cleaned daily and we really enjoyed the food at meal times , plenty of variety. When temperatures were too high to do anything but lazy around the pool , we enjoyed doing Bingo and Aquazumba. The evening entertainment was mixed ( flamenco dancers were amazing) but the magic show was all in Spanish so we couldn’t take part. There was no fight for sunbeds which I worried about being in the middle of the summer holidays. The location is away from the hussle and bussle but there’s a train located at the back of the hotel which takes you anywhere you need to go , Malaga or Torromolinos centre for example. Only con was the pool was 5ft deep in the shallowest end so bare this in mind with little kiddies , there is a separate baby pool however. Would stay here again

The room was clean and comfortable but noisier than I expected, sounds were coming especially from the floor and bathroom. Breakfast was good, but coffee and soft drinks from the machine weren’t. The pool area is also nice. Airport and train c-1 station is very close.

Excellent location, excellent staff, clean, spacious, comfortable rooms and a great pool, all within 5 minutes walk of the sea. The pool is a little close to the main coast road, but a privacy fence does a pretty good job of allowing you to ignore it. Stayed for a couple of nights and were very impressed by the whole operation. The staff were among the best hotel staff I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with, regardless of role. The art in the lobby is stunning. Even smaller details, like the breakfast (included for us) was top notch. A wonderful stay and highly recommended.

Visited in June 2024. This is a very large hotel that is made up in blocks; several blocks of rooms, accessed from the main block where you find the reception, dining and communal areas. The rooms are very comfortable and large albeit quite standard interiorwise given the price. Annoyingly the double beds are made up of separate beds pushed together, meaning you have an uncomfortable central line when trying the sleep. The bathroom only has a shower plus the obvious toilet, sinks and mirror. Again, it's all OK / standard. Also, we found the TV automatically coming on when you put the room key card in the slot annoying as we're the loud chimes that came with it. The breakfast is great and water is available throughout the day. There are two pools (1 a shallow kiddies pool the other an adults pool) areas with loungers available and you can get hotel pool towels. There is a pool bar for outside drinks while relaxing around the pool and behind the bar there is an old (poor condition) tennis court. The hotel's location is great as it is easy walking distance to the port area and other central areas. The staff are friendly and have luggage storage facilities if you need to check out before you need to leave for the airport.

Loved my stay here. Great location. You can walk to anywhere in Marbella. Hotel was clean and the buffet breakfast was very nice with a lot of options to choose from. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Marbella.

Nice hotel that's a very short stroll from the Puerto Banús marina and beaches. Hotel was nicely appointed and the staff were all very helpful. Rooms were very comfortable. Food (at breakfast) was tasty and had a wide variety on offer of hot, cold, fruit, meats, cheeses, etc etc on offer. The pool and the grounds were nice. There's a bigger pool and a shallower one for smaller children. Lots of grass areas to relax on or walk around in too. The reason for the 4**** rather than 5***** is because of the road noise from a pretty busy motorway right behind the hotel, which was pretty constant.

I was very dissapointed with this hotel. I don't consider it offers 3* conditions. Although we announced we'll have an 8 months old baby with us, we were offered a room in the dinosaur building, which was old and very far from the one with the restaurant and the reception. And it didn't have an elevator, either, which made things complicated. But that wasn't the main issue. The furniture was old and there was a strong mold smell in the air. We asked for another room, but we encountered the same problem. After lots of discussions and the help of the tourism agency we bought the tickets from, we got a room in the reception building, which made things a lot easier for us. But the first 2 days were not nice at all. Also, the food was average to poor. I do not recommend this hotel.

My advice would be if your not all inclusive or need space don't visit this hotel!. Unfortunately the rooms despite being comfortable are as small as they come and ridiculous for a family of 4 to stay in. The area is lovely and quite with a quaint beach 8 mins walk away, however should you wish to taste the Spanish cuisine there are very few places to eat and nothing to shout about, you can however grab a local bus to Marbella centre for €1.20 where you will find everything you need. The staff in the hotel are friendly the cleaner's are especially good at there job, the facilities are OK however this is a very child friendly hotel that caters more for younger children and are sometimes more safety then fun! for example no inflatables in the pool, the life gaurd follows you close without a smile which is a little uncomfortable. Unfortunately the entertainment on site really sucks! That's of course when there's entertainment most evenings the hotel is dead. If you have English children wanting to join in on clubs through out the day they won't because of the language barrier it's a very Spanish hotel. All in all you get what you pay for its cheap, friendly and clean.

I would not recommend this hotel to those with a young family. The hotel will charge you £180 to upgrade to a room with a balcony which is outrageous when those with young children require a balcony to dry towels etc.. 99% of the guests are Spanish and they don't mix with English guests. The beach is private, and you are charged €6 - €12 each time for a sun lounge. The walk to the beach from the hotel is very far although the beach is amazing / stunning. There is NO rep, and so you no nothing about what the area has to offer, and none of the staff offer up any information on what there is to do. The country is very very expensive, and to travel by taxi, you are looking at £20 - £25 per trip, each way. Some taxi drivers will deliberately drive the longer way, to gain more money, and they will not take five passengers within their taxi, which means larger families are stuck in the hotel, or have to have two taxis or take the bus when going out. The bus service however is great, and you can get to most places within 20 / 30 mins. I witnessed an issue where a couple with three small children missed their transfer and flight, and the hotel did nothing to support them. I had to get involved and demanded they at least fed their children who where hungry, crying and distressed. At one point my friend offered to pay for their meals, but the manager changed his mind and allowed them to eat for free, after we reminded him that most of the food would be thrown in the bin. They had to stay for another two nights which they had to pay for. The staff and mangement kept saying, "its your problem not ours". which is a very unhelpful & unprofessional service to offer guests when they are in a crisis, it was late evening, and all you they required was somone to reassure them everything is going to be okay. They only seem to bend over backwards for their fellow Spanish guests. The positives are that the rooms are cleaned daily, the breakfast is excellent, and the beach is stunning..If you book.... DONT SAY YOU WHERE NOT WARNED!!!

We had a cozy room with a nice view. The food was also good. There were no gluten-free breads or cakes, but when I asked the waiters, they showed me what I can eat. They also had some gluten-free breads or cookies in store, so I could get when I asked for. Probably the only thing bothering us was, that the hotel is far from the civilization. I mean we were far from the center of Marbella, even by bus. Plus the highway was also too close to the hotel, and there was no place to go to get a drink in the evening. At least there was a supermarket nearby, and a pharmacy we did not need, but you know, just in case. :)

We couldn't stay there, because of corona. But they cancelled our reservation for free, even though it actually wasn't. Super nice and we really do appreciate it! And we will definitely stay there once travelling is possible again!

Fair price for a standard 3* hotel - HONEST REVIEW: POSITIVES: - definitely the place, it's right on a beach, with restaurants and shops nearby - close to Torremolinos centre - VERY helpful reception staff - good equipment in kitchen (no cleaning supplies) - quite comfortable beds - daily cleaning, towel change - updated bathrooms! This was a positive surprise. NEGATIVES: - old hotel, the rooms are no way 77m²!! This is a lie.. - the carpets in the hallways are smelly and stained (the cleaning ladies place wet mops on the carpet after each room cleaning) - the overall look of the deco had 90's vibes with red/yellow colour scheme, cheap plastic chairs etc. - the balcony is NEVER cleaned, meaning there is sand everywhere - no toiletries in bathroom - very sad pool area, there is "grass" everywhere but mostly only dirt, which is wet and stinks. The pool chair needs to be paid for! Only 1 pool with salt water, nothing for children. This needs an update, really.. - Breakfast is ok, but for 14 EUR per person you can have a very nice meal in the beach restaurant (children 5+ must pay!) - very limited parking, if you rent a car, to find a parking spot becomes a daily nightmare - 600 rooms means there is never quiet - the evening "amusement" program is a tragicomedy. It's like the worst 10 hired from a talent show (Yes, I am talking about you, "Michael Jackson") For sleeping only and spending the whole day outside on the beach, an ideal hotel. Don't expect more! Pro-tip: ask for a room not overlooking the pool area

I liked the good location, the beach, restaurants and everything is nearby. Some of the staff was very friendly and helpful, and some not ( Receptionists are very rude) The hotel is a little bit worn, and the room smelled old and from cigarettes. The beds were good to sleep in though. Do not expect a lot from the breakfast, I would rather go to eat at a cafeteria. Overall experience is average, would not go back again.

A tiny bit of difficulty for parking on the place because most of the time it is full, but they offered another parking place a few minutes away from the hotel with availability... We just got here and the reception service is very bad. There is no air conditioning in common areas, so it creates an incredibly uncomfortable hotel perception. The pool is smaller than it appears in the photos. I do not recommend it. I really expected a fresh area.

It's okay, but our friends had some critters in their room. The hotel staff said they addressed the issue, but I'm sure they did much. A rather intoxicated young lady in the lobby also was complaining about bugs in her room. Food was okay. The bathroom door left a little too much visible. You had to pay to use the safe. "€2.50 for one day or the bargain rate of €5.00 for two days".

Just had a week here. Hotel was very clean, breakfast had plenty of choice, staff very friendly. Nice pool area, again spotless and very few people were using it at this time of year. Our room was a decent size and cleaned every day although it was very dark. The terrace….awful! See video! We wished we’d asked for an upgrade as you couldn’t sit out on it. Was only a few feet from the road, all that separated it was a broken fence covered in builders tarp which had ivy growing over it. Large dustbins at the other side of the road so lots of banging noises! Although the hotel is Diana Estapona, it’s nowhere near Estapona and the buses were a nightmare. The hotel is situated close to the A7 so lots of traffic noise. A few bars and restaurants nearby which were pretty good and a supermarket with plenty of choice. If you want to get around you need a car, but the main road was busy and fast. There is a beach accessible via a footbridge over the A7 but it’s not very attractive and you have to walk over stones to get in the sea.

The hotel, the rooms and the pool area are clean and tidy which is a big plus. Rooms get cleaned every day to a great standard. There’s no large variety of food but quality is acceptable. The worst thing for us was the location. The hotel is situated on the motorway between Marbella and Estepona and doesn’t offer any nice views or walks. You definitely need a car to reach nicer destinations. It takes around 15-20 minutes by car to get to Estepona and over 20-25 minutes drive to reach Marbella, unless you decide to spend all your holiday inside the hotel without visiting the surrounding areas. Clearly the staff do their best to make you enjoy the stay but we would not return because of the location.

Lovely hotel - great rooms and amenities. The breakfast is delicious, but the cooked breakfast isn't hot! Please keep it under heating lamps! The pastries / sweet selection is freshly made and delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The reception area needs to be improved though - there are no sofas or comfy waiting areas immediately near to the entrance for when you're waiting for others. The pool area is welcoming and peaceful and you can eat breakfast there in the mornings but beware of Germans putting towels out at 7am to reserve sunbeds. Admittedly probably others from the UK too.. pool doesn't open til 10! Additionally the hotel car park - it is very small and difficult to navigate. Even with a small car we found it challenging. If you are renting a car please take this into consideration. Otherwise would recommend!

There was no armchair in the room and no place for luggage. We asked for an armchair and got a plastic garden chair :). Instead of double bed there were two separate beds. A couple of black outs (no electricity) during our 4 days' stay. Though, breakfast and location were great, as well as the attitude of the staff.

Location is excellent. Our privately rented room was at a good standard too. Swimming pools were great & overall in good condition as were the grounds around the hotel. However, the swim up bar was closed and the hotel lacked some sort of atmosphere. I understand it’s a family hotel ( we had kids) but the swim up bar was closed without notice which was a massive shame. No music around the hotel at all. Reception wasn’t particularly pleasant. The guy with the ponytail seemed to be upset all the time. To be polite it’s the basics of customer service.

Great place!!! We had lot of fun, I really recommend it, best place in Málaga to stay with kids. Clean, with all the services needed and lot of restaurants. I will definitely come back next year.
