Just back from a lovely week at db San Antonio Hotel + Spa. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. From front of desk, bar staff, the staff in the spa, staff on the floors in the dining area to the chefs the cleaners and entertainment you all do a great job and make holiday makers feel so welcomed. The rooms have all you need tea/coffee, hairdryer and your room is cleaned daily. Staff assisted with any services required they were all so helpful. When ordering food staff asked if you had any food intolerances or allergies. After over indulging you could go to the gym and do a workout. Treat yourself to a spa massage, sauna and swim. The location was perfect on a flat surface many people with walking issues were able to get around at their own pace. The bus station is only a five min walk away if you want to head somewhere. In the main area of the hotel near reception there are people there if you want to book a trip or hire a car. The food was amazing such a variety to choose from. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to all at db San Antonio Hotel + Spa we really enjoyed our stay.

We have loved our family holiday at the hotel. All staff were very friendly and attentive and we want to call out Kiran our housekeeper for the stay who kept our room spotless and entertained the kids with his repertoire of towel animals. The entertainment has been first rate, the evening shows have been a specticle of which the halloween special was the highlight. The food in all the restuarants has been great with good variety, the only slight improvement would be a host at the buffet to greet and seat guests as you arrive. The location is excellent for the aquarium, st Paul's bay and trips tp Gozo and Commino. We would recomnend the hotel for others looking for a family friendly and safe holiday.

Great location overlooking the sea. Close to the bus station where you can get anywhere on the island for 2.5 euros! Lovely staff that can't do enough for you. Massive choice of amazing fresh food all day in different themed restaurants. Friendly bar staff. Wonderful housekeeping. We highly recommend the San Antonio and we will be returning. Excellent service throughout the hotel on our week’s holiday. Such a wide choice of food available and plenty of bars in each area. The rooms were so clean, we even got a lovely towel heart left by Rekha! The sea view rooms are amazing, brilliant size for the two of us and a lovely balcony with a great view of the sea and the pool. The decor throughout is tasteful and clean. We loved our honeymoon here and will be back!

We had the best time at San Antonio. The room was a bit chilly but when mentioned we got blankets and a heater. All of the staff went above and beyond and were so friendly. This morning I didn’t have an update for a shuttle pick up and Natacha in reception took the issue off my hands and contacted the company for me. We will definitely be back ❤️ Happy Christmas to you all ❤️

Another wonderful Stay with Exceptional Service! ​My recent stay at the Radisson Blu Resort, St. Julian's, was truly fantastic. The hotel happens to be one of my favourites on the island and provided a very comfortable and relaxing experience. ​A special thank you must go to the outstanding hosts Matthew, Mohan, Jesmond and their teams working during the breakfast and dinner service for our 20 guests. They were consistently welcoming, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Their genuine warmth made every meal a pleasure. ​I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again!

I can find any fault on location, peace and quiet. The staff are so warm especially at the Kitchen Marisa and Raechel. Will help you the option what to have to eat especially for glutten free diet. Very accomodating, from the doorman to the receptionist. Great facilities can used. From pool and spa, tennis court and gymn.

I had an amazing time at breakfast 😇 Marisa was a fantastic host, she made my day. She is so warm and welcoming. Food was super fresh and delicious. The host made sure I was looked after. All other staff were amazing in the restaurant. Highly recommend this breakfast with the beautiful view.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. A special mention to Santosh, Ashmita, Jung, Adarsh, and Marissa, who were all so lovely and exceptionally helpful during breakfast each morning. At the Bistro, Suraj and Muna provided excellent service and made our experience even better. Highly recommended!

There were a number of things during my stay that didn’t quite meet the standard I’d associate with a five-star hotel. The main building felt a bit worn in places, with scuffs and marks that took away from the overall impression. Service was inconsistent. Some staff were excellent, but others seemed a little unsure, which led to a few moments that left me a bit miffed — for example, being shown to my stored luggage and picking it up myself, with help offered only afterwards. Not awful, just not what I’d expect at this level. Food was mixed as well. My room service breakfast was incorrect; I’d ordered a breadbasket with croissants and snacks but received toast instead. The Indian restaurant was fine, though milder than expected. Again, not terrible, just not quite five-star. The spa was clean and well maintained, though several facilities weren’t working during my visit. I also realised I hadn’t been told about all the hotel facilities at check-in, and noise travelled easily from neighbouring rooms if their balcony doors were open. Individually, these things didn’t ruin my stay, but together they left the experience feeling below the standard advertised. I don’t think I’d return, though I did appreciate the elements that were done well.

Our weekend stays at this hotel are always unforgettable thanks to the incredible staff who truly make us feel at home. My husband, my baby girl Mimi, and I are always so happy and cared for every time we visit. A special thank-you to Manager Anket for always ensuring our stay is perfect, and to the lovely receptionists Elvie and Pinky, who greet us with such warmth. Sandeep from breakfast at Flavours went above and beyond — helping brining us food to the table while I juggled our little one, and making sure we had everything we needed. Daniel from maintenance was so kind and quickly fixed our TV with ease. And the amazing team at Mokka — Aminul, Sweetson and the wonderful girls — were incredibly accommodating and kept our daughter entertained; she absolutely adored them. Their burgers are also incredible — truly some of the tastiest we’ve had. Kudos to the chef! And of course Mr Henri, the one and only — a true gentleman with a warm heart. Whether we meet him in the lobby or are welcomed by him at breakfast, it is always such a joy to see him and be greeted by him. Every visit is an incredible experience filled with comfort, kindness, and genuine hospitality. The beautiful stay, the thoughtful service, and the wonderful people are the reason we keep coming back — for anniversaries, birthdays, or simply when we need a little escape. Truly a place full of heart.

Pleasant 4 star hotel on the west coast of Malta. Accomodation is split across 3 buildings with each having 7 or 8 floors. There are indoor and outdoor pools which are well maintained along with a private beach for hotel guests. Towels are provided free at the pool or the beach hut. There are a number of restaurants on site such as Essence of India, AglioOlio, Flavours and Sizzlers. All served great food with the first 2 above being more Alacarte offerings. Staff are excellent and always happy to help. Costumer service was fantastic. Rooms were a little dated,but nothing to put you off or broken. Bathrooms were good. Generally, a lovely hotel in a super location with all amenities and friendly staff. Will definitely return if staying in the area.

We’ve just returned from an unforgettable week at the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Malta Golden Sands, and from start to finish it was simply exceptional. From the moment we checked in, Sam made us feel genuinely welcomed — friendly, attentive, and full of local knowledge. That first impression really set the tone for our stay. The resort itself is breathtaking — the views over Golden Bay are something special, and the atmosphere manages to feel both luxurious and relaxed. Every detail was thought through, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the quality of the restaurants and spa. The staff throughout the hotel went above and beyond, always with a smile and nothing ever too much trouble. We left feeling refreshed, cared for, and already planning our next visit. Wonderful hotel in a great location. Family room was spacious, well equipped, with fantastic views of the sea. All of the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Food was delicious, plenty of variety. I would definitely stay here again, especially as the hotel is extremely child friendly.

Wow! Just wow! What can I say except that the staff are exceptional and really made us feel like it was our home away from home. This was our first holiday as a family with our 1 year old daughter and we were nervous as to what it would be like. But their level of care was exceptional. Which helped put us at ease. Nothing was to much trouble. They remembered we needed a high chair at meals and knew we wanted to be away from people in case she was being loud. The facilities were fantastic. Food delicious and a great selection at each meal. We can't wait to return!

Our stay at AX The Palace Malta was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special mention to Navo and the front desk team, who were always friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful, they truly made us feel welcome. At the pool bar, Dominca and her team were equally amazing, attentive, warm, and always ready with a smile. They really made our time by the pool extra special. Our room was stunning, with a spacious layout and a private terrace, this was an upgraded suite; simply incredible! The spa facilities throughout the hotel were brilliant, perfect for unwinding and relaxing, great private terrace, with indoor pool, sauna and steam room. Overall, everything about our stay met our expectations from the service to the amenities.I highly recommend AX The Palace Malta to anyone looking for a short stay in Malta.

Just returned from our second visit of the year to the Palace. From the moment we arrived until the time we left ( reluctantly ) our stay was perfect. We stayed in an executive room which was great, huge bed, decent sized balcony with a sea view. The hotel facilities are fantastic, the pool on the roof has its own bar serving drinks ( I recommend the Bahama Mama cocktail ) as well as food. Breakfast in the hotel has everything you could want and even at busy times we never had to wait for a table. The Temptasian restaurant serves a great selection of different Asian foods and also has a lovely atmosphere. I could go on a lot more about all the things that the hotel has to offer, but what really stands out for me is the staff, nothing is too much trouble. From the management to the bar staff, the staff in the breakfast room and everyone in between, they are all so friendly and so helpful. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of the sea front and harbour, where you can catch the ferry over to Valetta. If and when we go back to Malta it will definitely be to the Palace.

Just returned from the most amazing experience staying at AX The Palace. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the most friendliest staff. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone went above and beyond to make my BIG birthday celebration stay very special (birthday cake & wine in our room). We enjoyed cocktails in the adjoining ‘Talk of the Town’ and had the most amazing food in the hotel’s Temptasian restaurant 😍The views from the top floors across Sliema and over to Valletta are incredible! We enjoyed the location of the hotel, which was near to restaurants and bars and enabled us to have a short stroll to walk off our indulgence in food and drink! 😊 We highly recommend staying at this hotel and look forward to returning soon 🤩

This is an amazing hotel, all the staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was really spacious, comfortable and very clean. The location was perfect for us, really peaceful but so close to walk to the hustle and bustle of the harbour and bars and restaurants. Would only ever come to this hotel if visiting Malta in the future, which we hopefully will do. Highly recommended.

We read so many mixed reviews on this Hotel on the Jet2 app. We had a wonderful stay at this Hotel and were not disappointed with anything ,Every member of staff was 1st class, were so welcoming and friendly ,The food was 1st class,The Hotel was spotless and the rooms were huge ,Yes the hotel is not ultra modern but the style of the Hotel is in keeping with the area ,Modern would not be right, We had robes and slippers in the room and water,Fabulous choice at the Buffet. There was a courtesy Mini bus from the Hotel up the to Valetta every half hour and vice versa coming back down.We will definitely be back. Thankyou for a fabulous holiday.

It is a very nice property. View to the harbor and poll are beautiful, and the traditional design of the hotel very impressive. Unfortunately, service is not high quality. We put the sign to clean the room on the door in the morning, and had it cleaned late afternoon. Even simple items were forgotten to be replaced in the room, such as soap, hand towel, etc. Their restaurant menu is not very diverse, some items have very small portions. Breakfast doesn’t reflect a five stars hotel breakfast. There aren’t almonds and other nuts, for example.

Large hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms. Generally good service from the staff although they could be more attentive in the bar lounge area to customers' needs. A short 8-minute walk up the hill to the main pedestrianised area of Valletta and all the restaurants and bars it has to offer.

A very nice hotel with very attentive and friendly staff. The 'night time' service where they bring you chocolates before bed was a lovely touch. One member of staff that really stood out to us was Xiying, who we talked to in the little gift shop by reception. She was very friendly and lovely, shared information about how and where the Maltese glass is made. She was very helpful. We felt welcome as soon as we stepped through the front doors, with the smiling staff bringing us welcome drinks. The hotel is huge, very clean everywhere. The rooms could have been a bit bigger as well as the balcony but still very nice and I understand this isn't something that can be changed easily so not too much of a complaint. The private beach was nice however cannot be walked on without shoes, so maybe could fill it with actual sand instead of stones. All round great place great breakfast great service.

I arrived in the evening, half an hour before the SPA closed so I paid 15€ and went to the steam room. You have to press a switch to activate the steam. The room smelled of dampness that has been there for decades. Like a towel that has never been properly dried and smells of humidity. And the seats are made of plastic. Not exactly what I imagined for a 5 star hotel. Then I wanted to call room service, put no one ever answered. I tired to call the reception, the concierge, but no one would answer the phone. I had to go down to the reception myself and they said the phones don’t work, so room service would call my room. You can’t make calls but you can receive them. Interesting concept. In the end I got what I asked for, and the burger was good. Bed was really comfy. Breakfast : not great, (don’t even bother with the powdered eggs, there’s a guy that makes proper eggs the way you want) and I had quite a lot of trouble finding the breakfast room, the place is so huge.

Stayed here for two nights and had a lovely stay. We had a family deluxe room with a very picturesque view of the marina. Room was really specious, lots of table/surface for belongings, had a spacious bathroom too, balcony, and two queen beds which were comfortable. I also liked that they had a designated filtered tap in the bathroom just for drinking. Hotel amenities are also great and they have a spa, indoor pool, outdoor pool, restaurants etc. Outdoor pool is huge and also a great lounge area. We had breakfast too which we loved - they had lots of options and was also good for anyone with dietary requirements. Would recommend!

An incredibly great experience. It was a perfect stay. From the reception by Enzo - so friendly and helpful - to the room - one of our best rooms as frequent travellers - to the really best executive lounge we've been to. Krasimera and her colleagues were incredibly helpful, funny and friendly. All the staff there were just great!!! My wife was given a great selection of vegan dishes. Such service is unrivalled. The fitness room was also one of the best we have found in a hotel. The service throughout the hotel was simply excellent. The food was very tasty and of good quality. We really liked the surroundings. Although we didn't want to come back after the very bad experience at Doubletree in Malta, we changed our mind after staying at Hilton Malta. We plan to return next year for 10 days. Many thanks to the team who saved our holiday!!!

Just spent 3 nights at the Hilton Malta and what an unforgettable stay! The Thai cuisine at the restaurant was a treat, every evening we enjoyed delicious dishes. We also needed a pediatrician and the staff were incredibly professional and helpful, catering to our every need. But what truly made our stay special was the staff: everyone was extremely friendly, from reception to housekeeping, and all the restaurants and bars. Their smile and willingness to help made our stay truly relaxing and enjoyable. Hilton never disappoints and the Hilton Malta is no exception. Top-notch hospitality in every detail. Highly recommend!"

We spent 6 nights at the Hilton Malta in a King Deluxe Sea View room. Service very friendly and attentive. While we waited for our room (check-in from 3 p.m.) we were able to use the pool. Unfortunately we settled down near the whirlpool and afterwards we each had 5-6 big mosquito bites. On the following days we lay in other places by the pools and there were no mosquito bites here. It is therefore recommended to avoid proximity to the whirlpool. The location of the hotel is excellent, in the St. Julian's district there are a variety of restaurants and bars, there is something for everyone. A supermarket is in the immediate vicinity. The hotel's facilities were also very good, unfortunately the Merkanti Beach Club was closed after a few days despite very good weather and over 30 degrees (pools near the beach). Unfortunately we were not informed about this when we booked. There is no possibility to swim directly in the sea at the hotel. Quality of the rooms at a high level, no carpet (very good), soundproofing excellent. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was very loud (my wife wore earplugs at night), slight mold growth over the shower and a loose ceiling panel do not speak for a 5 star hotel. (see pictures). We therefore only found the price-performance ratio to be average. We visited a total of 5 hotels in Malta in 16 days (4x 5 stars and 1x 4 stars) and the Hilton Malta would be our favorite for our next visit and we liked it the most.

This review is long overdue, but my wife and I stayed at the hotel this Easter with our two teenage boys. For personal reasons, this holiday held special significance for us. We reached out to the hotel in advance, and Graziella handled our request with the kind of personal, attentive service that's rarely seen. The two-bed corner suite was hands down the most spectacular hotel room we've ever stayed in. Every staff interaction was brilliant—from the exceptional service at the pool to the kitchen staff who remembered our seating preferences from the second day onward, making us feel like regulars. A truly impressive experience. Thank you to everyone involved.

We had such a great stay at the Westin Dragonara! From the moment we arrived, everyone was super welcoming and kind. They even gave us an upgrade, which honestly made our day — the room was huge, super clean, and the bed was so comfortable. Waking up to that sea view every morning was just perfect. Breakfast was one of the highlights — so much choice, everything fresh and tasty, and the staff were always smiling and ready to help. The whole place feels calm and relaxed, even though it’s close to everything in St. Julian’s. We spent a lot of time just enjoying the view and the pools, and it really felt like a proper getaway. Overall, an amazing experience — we left feeling so rested and happy. Would 100% come back again!

We are a family with two kids and stayed here at the beginning of November. Everything was perfect — the staff, the hotel, the facilities, and the outdoor pool. It was also great to swim in the sea, as the water was still warm. We were offered delicious and varied breakfasts. The children really enjoyed the heated outdoor pool. Special thanks to the pool host, Ramesh, who was very kind and helpful to us. We also appreciated the convenient connection to Valletta by bus No. 14, which stops right next to the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay. We chose a club room with a sea view. The view is beautiful. The room was large and comfortable with two very nice beds. Breakfast had so much choice and we enjoyed the club lounge food and drinks in the evenings. Staff were delightful and uniformly polite, kind and helpful. The bus stop outside had a no 14 bus that took you along the coast and into the main bus station in Valetta, only a few minutes walk from the main square. Just 2 euros a ride. Amazing value.

We stayed for 4 nights in October. Excellent stay, Spotless hotel, very good service (around the pool and bar). Lama was fantastic as always, I imagine he'll so be the general manager! Looking forward to coming back at some point. Nice perks as a platinum member. Good for kids. The two ladies in kids club were fantastic my son loved it.
