As our stay draws to a close, I’d like to express my appreciation for the good service we received from the staff of db San Antonio Hotel and Spa. Although we experienced a few setback during check-in, we were impressed by the management's prompt attention to the matter and their dedication to delivering outstanding service. We'd like to personally thank Ms. Giovanna and Ms. Hadil for their outstanding professionalism and courtesy in resolving the issue. On the other hand, some of the staff needs more training in certain areas especially when dealing with hotel guests. Sometimes a lack of understanding on their part can lead to a misunderstanding. One example, is when we asked for limo service to the airport, they assumed that we are asking for a free shuttle whilst the other guest relation thought we wanted a “limousine to go the prom.” We were merely asking for assistance for transportation to the airport. Overall, we're thoroughly enjoying the location, service, and warm hospitality of the staff. Ms . Lucie at the front desk in particular, is to be commended for her friendliness and work ethic. While the hotel building may benefit from renovations, its price and amenities offer excellent value, making it a recommendable choice. We're already looking forward to our next visit to Malta and this hotel. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one.

Me and my friend has a lovely week away. The San Antonio Hotel and spa was wonderful. The hotel was clean and the staff were amazing. The food and drink was also beautiful! We paid for all inclusive plus once here and was definitely worth the money. The bar tender Puskar in the all inclusive plus lounge was so attentive and friendly and he's such an asset to the hotel. The hotel is situated in a really good place for travelling and there's good access to local transport. The massages we received at the spa were really good.

Lovely experience. The room could do with a bit of sprucing up, but otherwise, beautiful experience. They were able to upgrade my room when the love holiday app didn’t book us in. The meals were top tier. Especially loved the breakfast and Yushan restaurant. The view was extraordinary but bear in mind, it can’t be seen from the front of the building.

Really enjoyed the stay at dB San Antonio. Location was great and the staff helpful and friendly. Beds comfortable and room had Aircon that just worked. The facilities were pretty good, and I really enjoyed the treatments in the spa that sorted out some muscle issues. The cafe was great for playing cards in the evening and the on site restaurants had a good selection of food. Site has a lot of space so would really like to see a games room or some more activities to keep us occupied in the evening. A couple of pool tables, pinball machines, table tennis or arcade machines would be nice. Only slight mishaps that prevented a 5 star were the bathroom flooded a couple of times as the basin outlet wasn't connected and the ceiling fan didn't work. Nothing major. Would go there again.

Still have a few days left and came here as a mother daughter holiday for my 30th birthday, this is such a great spot for those on budget and for those who like to be closer to amenities/shops and the sea front is only a 5 minute walk straight down the road. Stunning views at the back at the hotel of the sea and islands opposite. Malta national aquarium is also only about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a budget friendly all inclusive holiday especially at Christmas timing. You still get the somewhat warmer weather even with a little rain. Have enjoyed the stay so far and look forward to the last couple days we have here. May have to book a spa treatment at the hotels spa before I go.

Lovely hotel. Food good. Pool good even if it is across the road! Could do with new pillows for bed. Could do with safety stickers on the glass balcony windows. Could do with allowing guests that are checking out to have a meal. There is lots of food left over so it would not have hurt! We arrived on the Thursday and missed our breakfast so it would have been nice when we left Thursday evening the next week to have had a dinner.

Great hotel, used it for B&B The Food Hall lovely, lots of variety. Our room was super, no sea view but well appointed and The Air con is very cold. Bar on the ground floor good and the Sky Bar has a great view and vibe. The staff are very attentive and polite

The staff were all helpful arranged to change rooms for me as can't go in lift on my own . Very friendly ,clean hotel . Bar was relaxing ,pool was closed as November but the solarium was very clean and relaxing . There is works going on in hotel but did not effect our holiday there . Will definitely be staying again in the future.

Nice hotel situated in a good place easy access to local bus routes. Right on the sea front. The service was good in the hotel with friendly staff. The room was good but the view was terrible looking onto a building site with very large holes and half pulled down buildings. Could not sit on the balcony as you were overlooked by workmen and had no view at all. Not pleasing to the eye. Could not change room as hotel. Tried to up grade to room with a sea view but to no avail. There was No entertainment only a large TV in the bar. One night out of Ten there was a man playing the piano while the TV was on.

Good location, clean room, air conditioning. We did not spend that much time in the hotel..more or less sleeping, breakfast and go. But everything what we needed, was provided and most importantly- it was clean. The breakfast was rather ok. They have a good variety but somehow everything tastes the same. Skybar is super-cool!

Lovely hotel, although I would judge it a 4 * maximum, even through listed as a 5*. The staff were very friendly and nothing but smiles and enthusiasm for all and any requests. Room 435 was a very large room with mini-fridge and views over the Med. The bath tap was faulty but the room was spotless and cleaned every day. Restaurants Asian: very good Roof-top: closed for our 5 days. Ground floor: very good. Deffo a good hotel.

The room was spacious with a large and comfortable bed. Breakfasts were delicious, offering a wide variety of options to choose from. But for a five-star hotel, the property felt a bit worn. There was a cracked sink in the room, which didn’t leave the best impression. The view from the room was disappointing, overlooking the roof of a nearby building with only a distant glimpse of the sea. Additionally, the hotel didn’t allow early check-in, not even by an hour, which was inconvenient.

I could not fault this hotel! Lovely rooms, spotlessly clean. Smiling helpful staff. Rooftop and indoor pool with sauna and steam room. Great location. Lovely food and drinks. What more could you ask for? Best place we have stayed at for some time.

Brillant Hotel, real up market hotel. Service and staff were excellent and really helpful. Spa, swimming was amazing, and views of the city with sunset were amazing. The buffet was excellent for €28 euros and such a wide range of food. We had a convention at the hotel, which was a great location and venue. I didn't stay at hotel so I can't review this.

The hotel was amazing and so was its location. The only downfall was we were staying on the 8th floor so we heard the rooftop restaurant during the night and it was very noisy. Other than that we loved our stay at this hotel. It was a short walk to a lot of sites, as well as the ferry to Valletta. We would definitely stay here again!

Good hotel. Clean. Great amenities. Reasonable breakfast and good value for money. I would renovate the rooms to look more modern, have heaters for swimsuits in bathroom and have activities for children under 4 years. The hotel is far out. Good if you plan not to leave hotel, con if you will be going out alot

Very welcoming staff, food is delicious, hotel is very clean and rooms are comfortable and well equiped. We even received an upgrade when booking through their application and they gave us a cake when we told them it was our anniversary ❤️ will definitely visit again!

I've lost count of the number of weekends we have spent at the Radisson Blu throughout the years. We have never left disappointed. This is a beautiful hotel with large generous rooms set in truly beautiful surroundings. Imagine waking up in the morning to see the crystalline turquoise blue sea lapping onto the red sand of Golden Bay, a truly beautiful beach. The staff are very attentive and helpful. A special mention to Henri, the gentleman who will greet you in the morning on your way to their wonderful breakfast. This time round we were a big group, therefore we stayed in the Galaxy Suite. This suite has 4 double bedrooms all with ensuite facilities a large beautiful living area with a fully equipped kitchen and a sprawling large terrace with breathtaking views and a hot tub! This Suite surpassed all expectations and we are already planning our next stay there! Well done Radisson Blu and thank you for the wonderful memories

Great location, food and rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. Many things to do in the hotel, but expect to pay for any move. Even game room is charged. Improvements to be done in cleaning of wet sauna and indoor pool. Every time I went to both they were not clean as you would expect for a hotel like this.

Our annual Arsenal Malta members lunch at the Kontiki was first class in every way. The buffet lunch was superb. Lots of food varieties from different cuisines and excellent service. We were exceptionally well looked after by extremely friendly, polite and professional staff. The logistical side of the event very well handled by the able hands of Claudine, Sammy, the F&B section and the Management team who made sure the event turns a success. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu Resort in Malta at the break of October and November. I visited with my wife and our two young kids, and the entire experience was perfect. The hotel and rooms are beautiful, spacious, and very well-maintained, offering everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the incredible staff. Every member of the team was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. We want to give a special thanks to Matthew, Margaret, and Marisa for going above and beyond to make our time at the hotel even more enjoyable. Their warmth and dedication truly made a difference, and we are very grateful for their hospitality. Overall, the location, service, and facilities were outstanding. She was incredibly lovely and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Since it was my first time at the breakfast venue, Marisa went above and beyond by taking the time to walk me through the various meal choices and special offers available. Her attentiveness and friendly demeanor set the tone for a fantastic morning. The breakfast area itself boasts a stunning view of the sea, which adds a serene and picturesque ambiance to the dining experience. The entire staff was warm, friendly, and genuinely caring, ensuring that every guest felt well taken care of. Overall, my breakfast at Radisson Blu was nothing short of delightful. The combination of excellent service, a beautiful setting, and delicious meal options makes it a must-visit. I’m already looking forward to returning!

The hotel was lovely, very clean with good facilities. We stayed at the hotel on a b& b basis. The restaurant was well laid out and the selection of food on offer was good. The staff immaculately turned out and hardworking. The reception staff were excellent, especially Melody who was a delightful charming and helpful young lady. She helped us with getting medical assistance for my husband and arranging transport to the medical centre. It was a real comfort for the genuine care and concern she showed us at a difficult time. She even arranged a follow up call to see that we were alright. She came across as someone who is professional, dedicated and with an eye to detail. An asset to any front of house team. Also a shout out to Wilfried, with his lovely smile, who helped us sort out the room safe. The hotel room was spacious, with lovely white fluffy towels and dressing gowns to use when using the pools and treatment rooms.

I had an incredible experience here with my wife. The Operations Executive, Sunny was very friendly and he ensured our stay was nothing but perfect. He even went the extra mile to get us upgraded to a suite room and give me a surprise birthday celebration. The other staff are also very friendly. They are well aware of halal food in the hotel and advised us on which foods are halal and which are not. As a Titanium Elite member, I am delighted with their great hospitality.

I booked this hotel for my mum and dad and they had the absolute best time here. It was my dad's birthday and the staff, before they arrived and during the stay made it very special for him. The breakfast every morning was delicious and plentiful! The room was massive with very comfortable beds. The hotel and their grounds are well kept and lovely to be in. They really loved their stay and that's thanks to the staff and the accuracy of the description of the hotel. Thank you so making it really great for them!

We were there for a family holiday and enjoying a great stay. Everything was fine - from checkin to checkout. Our room was perfect - we stayed at a Suite with sea-view; very nice and super clean. The staff of the hotel was doing a great job and we always had somebody at our service when needed. Friendly and very discrete. The kids felt like home and the heated pool was great as well as the sea. Breakfast was outstanding! Great thanks to the whole team of the Westin for the perfect time we spent there - we'll come back for sure!

Loved our winter stay at the end of October/early November. The staff are fabulous in every area of the hotel. The fact they could also easily accommodate our gluten intolerance was brilliant. It was delightful to dip in the sea & use the pools. The breakfast was very extensive & very good. Definitely be coming back for some winter sun next year.

The hotel facilities are luxurious and nice, but the food in the lounge and breakfast restaurant was nothing special. The temperature drops to 13 degrees at night in winter but there was no heater, so we were too cold to sleep soundly and woke up tired in the morning. And Plus, even if you're a Marriott Bonvoy member, you don't get late checkout.

A great hotel with excellent service. While it is a luxurious property, its age is noticeable. The rooms are somewhat worn and could use an upgrade, but staying here is still an enjoyable experience. Everything is clean and well-maintained. The pool area is fantastic, and the beach is charming. The gym has all the essentials you need. Breakfast is excellent, offering a wide selection and high-quality options. The location is ideal, with a short distance to Valletta city center and the ferry to Sliema.

We spent a week staying here. The room was spacious with a good balcony and view. Service was excellent. The staff welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good, although there was no fresh orange juice. I would love to stay in warmer weather.

This hotel is in a tremendous location for visiting Valletta. Hotel itself is good, with comfortable rooms and beds. The pool area is excellent, with a large pool and also access to swim in the sea. Plenty of shaded areas and an attentive bar staff. The indoor bar areas and public areas are perfect for meeting or to grab a small meal and a drink. I wish the hotel had a good restaurant, but there are just basic small places to eat, not a formal restaurant. But that was okay as we walked into town where there are many good restaurants. So all in all, I can’t rave about the hotel, but also no real issues at all. If I was returning to Valletta, this is where I would stay.

We had a fantastic stay here. Yes the rooms are showing their age a bit, but the location and the quality of the pool and other facilities more than make up for any shortcomings. There is always something going on, the indoor pool is wonderful for a dip in November and, as seasoned traveler I really appreciate a fridge in my room! Walking distance of the city centre and all the night life, its own sea access and pools and at a very affordable price if you keep a look out for their offers. Would we stay again? 100% Already checking their website : )

After booking to come, I saw numerous negative reviews of this hotel which made me quite skeptical. However, our stay on the whole was pleasant. The hotel is in a great location; it’s a 10 minute walk into Valletta (although there are a lot of steps) and we enjoyed numerous trips and dinners there throughout our holiday. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are lovely and there are always beds available to use. Rooms are air conned well and were cleaned to a high standard daily and staff were always pleasant and polite. However, there are certainly a few things which could be improved. Starting with the service - on the whole, the service was poor. Staff are very busy which makes me wonder if the hotel is understaffed; we had to ask numerous times for the same thing on several occasions, at breakfast no staff member approached to ask if we wanted tea or coffee - we had to go and ask them ourselves each day and one lunchtime, we waited around 20 minutes at the pool bar before our order was taken. One afternoon, my partner’s shorts also fell off our balcony onto the roof below; they were easy enough to collect via using another room’s balcony but we had to speak to reception four times before this was done. Another issue was around half of the umbrellas by the outdoor pool were broken meaning shade was limited, even though it was 30+ degree weather, plus the steps into the sea were extremely slippery; we witnessed two people fall on the same day and said to the staff they should put a sign up. Finally, the prices of drinks were ridiculous - €5 for one glass of Diet Coke, which was flat and tepid. The fizzy drinks from the pool bar are poured from large 2L bottles meaning they’ve gone flat and they aren’t kept in the fridge. On the whole I would stay here again, but for a 5* hotel there are definite improvements to be made.

I recently stayed at Hilton Malta and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and every team member I encountered was friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to assist. The room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the view from the room was breathtaking, especially overlooking the stunning Mediterranean Sea. I appreciated the attention to detail, from the quality toiletries to the thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water and a welcome treat. Overall, Hilton Malta exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel. I can’t wait to return!

Everything about this hotel was exceptional. Staff were very professional, friendly and welcoming, always greeting you whenever you’re around the resort. Staff were able to find a lost item which they dealt with very well. Room was very clean and comfortable and facing the sea, waking up to sunrise every morning. Service was excellent all throughout. Strongly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Malta.

The rooms were clean, though I was expecting an upgrade but received a fairly standard room with a somewhat limited view of the marina. However, the closed balcony doors ensured the room was very quiet. The hotel offers an excellent breakfast, a very good dinner, and a more average lunch. The service at the hotel was pleasant, but I found it slightly disruptive to be asked twice whether my room was clean, which detracted from the overall experience. This might be a local practice, but it did feel unnecessary. The pools were lovely, although not heated. While the water purifier under the sink was a nice feature, the taste was less than ideal—improvements could be made to enhance its quality. Given the price, which is considerably higher than other hotels, I expected these details to be more refined. View to the sea from breakfast area was spectacular.

Hotel location is very convenient. Located right in the middle of everything in st. Julian’s. You can stay there and not come out of the area. Staff are really helpful and hotel is clean. They got amazing facilities too to cater to everyone. I would definitely be coming back

Stayed here in late October 2024. Great location, great outdoor pool areas, but boy o boy those pools are cool in Autumn. Breakfast is lovely, everything is fresh, tasty, with lots of options. The bread is to die for The live Jazz band was amazing, going to the Blue Elephant Thai tonight and will review later.

Great hotel in a central location so within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants and all the attractions. We received a warm welcome and were looked after by the wonderful team throughout our stay. The only problem we had was the noise from a local bar, however, this finishes at 12 and is only on for 2 nights of the week so once we knew this we could plan accordingly - i.e. join in!

We loved our stay here! It was our first stop in Malta and the central location was perfect. The room was sort of typical (we booked the lowest tiered room) but very nice with a modern remodel. Their breakfast was one of the most memorable parts for me! The options, food and service were top notch and we even slept in one morning (we were jet lagged) and they kindly let us sneak in a few minutes late. Would definitely recommend staying here for a cozy urban boutique experience with great service!

A Wonderful Stay We had a wonderful 8 night stay. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the room was well equipped and comfortable. The hotel is in a central location which is perfect for exploring Valletta and for catching ferries to other parts of the island. The sun shone throughout our stay although it was very windy at times.

Enjoyed our stay last week in the St John's Hotel, part of the Rosselli - AX privilege.The hotel retains the wonderful architectural character of Valletta in the centre of the old city. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were thoughtful, attentive and always courteous,making for a relaxed start to the day. The hotel and location is beautiful ! Truly special place and that you have a pool near by is a bonus as well ! The room has all we needed and more , decor attention to detail beautiful. The view of all island from the terrace beautiful, all facilities lovely However few things could be improved… Drinks offered on arrival never came .. We popped for an upgrade with jacuzzi .. not worth it, as jacuzzi was like a chlorine bath ( not very inviting) or very attractive to use , honestly … The bedroom next to restaurant , even if it’s Michelin star .. but noise from loud guests can be disturbing.. Otherwise it’s a unique property and must visit at least once !

Let me summarize my experience: Negatives: The price doesn’t match the quality. I’ve stayed in many “high-end” places, and this is by far the worst. The rooms are outdated and lack intuitive design. I ordered room service, and it was terrible. Positives: The location is excellent, the property is beautiful, and the views are amazing. Overall: I would say it’s not worth the price, and there are probably better options available at a much better rate.

Had the best birthday there. Service and rooms were exceptional. The food at The de Mondion Restaurant was also incredible. I booked it for my birthday evening and would highly recommend the experience. Nice gestures like a Happy Birthday wish with dessert and a card.
