I recently stayed at a charming hotel in a beautiful village and was impressed by the excellent service. The hotel offers two lovely pools, one of which is thermal, perfect for relaxing. There’s also a well-maintained tennis court for those looking to stay active. The on-site restaurant is a real gem, serving authentic local cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend it!

It's a upper class Hotel / resort up in the mountain. The staff are very friendly and are always willing to help. The rooms are great and fully equipped, including a dish washer, have a bathtub and shower. A TV with Fast wifi and Aircon. They supply pool towels, and the pools are great to cool off. Both resturants on the premises serve good food. The resort has a shuttle service to the beach or to the village at the bottom. They do a round-trip every hour free,

We had a lovely stay here! Staff was friendly, room service offered daily. The room was very convenient to the pool & mini golf. They also have pet cats at the resort & they're so cute! Close enough to night life & the beach, especially if you rent a car. Can't wait to go back!

Honeymoon lesson, don't choose a resort. Or just not this one. On my first full day I was blinded by the soap from the shower. They provided no washcloths so you bath with your hands. Instead of the soap dispenser putting soap in my hand it shot straight into my eye making me temporarily blind for hours until I drove into town for eye drops. We had an issue on the 2nd day where our electric kettle we use for coffee was heating up sink water and we saw the container foaming up to 1cm above the waterline. We opened to smell pool chemicals. We made our review immediately because that is an issue. Then our trip was immediately sidetracked because management had been reached out to by the owners about the complaint. They met with me only to gaslight me with their side of the situation essentially saying that I was wrong and the water is fine. They showed me water testing reports all to distract me. Documents can be altered and falsified. They told me they have no chlorine, but then their water levels did have chlorine it's just at the "safe levels." The very next day they replaced our kettle and we tried to make coffee and it seems they decided to stop putting in chlorine because now the water smelled of hydrogen sulfide and again bubbled up in the new kettle. My takeaway is their water is safe to drink unless you use it for coffee. By safe I mean you won't die, you will probably have to use the toilet more often than you should. Normally their water has traces of hydrogen sulfide but they use chlorine to balance it. They just don't know how to balance it correctly because their water should be safe enough to make coffee with. They had me change my original review of 1 star including a statement that I hoped they wouldn't kill me. They didn't, but only because I complained and they decided to provide us with water bottles instead of let us use tap. Crete is full of places that offer clean tap water, no excuse why this place lied to me about the quality of theirs. Plumbing is also an issue where they don't have signs for not flushing toilet paper, so tourist will naturally flush making their plumbing really hard to have enough pressure to flush. Your bathroom will reek of poop/pee if used. We chose this place for the fact that it's higher up, quiet and away like a retreat. Having issues with the unit is not the greatest as we don't tend to use the resort for it's amenities. We signed up for a cooking class that also forces you to take part in a wine tasting(33€ for food, 17€ for the wine tasting). I told them from the beginning that I didn't want any alcohol and only wanted juice, water or soda. So they decided to single me out and provide me and only me with their non-alcoholic wines to taste(essentially grape juice). There were multiple children in the class that were also charged for the wine tasting and only received water or lemonade. None of the other children got offered the grape juice. Literally the worst experience ever. The manager that met with me about the water contamination was brought over as soon as they heard our room was in the class. They said hi to me and only me and tried to also single me out on the alcohol by providing local sodas. It was a nice gesture, but I asked for Juice(orange), water or soda(coke). They just wanted to give me enough options so that they had an excuse for why they charged me $17 for the wine tasting. This resort is great for families, and if you choose to never leave. They want your money. Locals even tell us the resorts only care about getting your money which we definitely felt. If you are looking for a place for your honeymoon, there are plenty of better areas to stay that take better care of you. Better off spending a lot less for a stay a little less modern in my opinion.

The entire staff was awesome from the soap and the massage services to housekeeping!The front desk staff did an exceptional job making my wife and I feel welcome. They made us feel right at home!We love this place and will definitely come back again!

Lovely spa hotel, spa facilities and pool facilities are great, I got a Greek massage which was unbelievable. The food was varied but not of high quality, and would have liked to see more authentic traditional options as didn’t really feel much like we were in Greece when we were eating. However still some nice options. Staff friendly and helpful, rooms clean and had everything you needed. Gym was poor, it was a room hidden away on top of a bar that no one mentioned to us, with a bike, a few dumbbells and a yoga mat. Weird rule about not being able to take more than one drink from the bar at a time, even if you were taking a drink for yourself and whoever you were with. So had to go back and forward. This was inconsistently implemented depending on staff on the bar. Cocktails very watered down. It was about 15 minutes in a taxi to the town 22 Euros each way, not much else around the hotel so if you’re looking for a chilled stay out of the way doing nothing at a reasonably priced all inclusive this is the place for you. They have a ‘private beach’ which is just a small bit of dirty sand with old sunbeds so really wouldn’t recommend it being worth the shuttle bus down there. Rethymno old town is lovely, if I came back I would stay nearer the town. Overall we had a nice holiday because the weather was good and the pools were good, and we could generally eat some half decent food. Not brilliant but not bad either, some good points and some to improve on.

I stayed here for a week the beginning of October 2024. The resort is beautiful although I wouldn't say it 5☆. The room needed updating and the showers were full of rust and limescale. The shower heads were full of limescale so didn't work properly. The food was ok, definitely not 5☆. The entertainment was poor. The pools were lovely and plenty of sunbeds but that could be different in peak season. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. I would recommend the resort as a 3 to 4 ☆.

Before we came we were very worried because of the bad reviews But we have just spent a week here with our 5 month old baby and it's been the one of the best holidays we have had. Yes there is a drinks rule but you can get cocktails all day, beer,wine , soft drinks and hot drinks ! Spirits are after 7 so it was like a little treat in the evening. There is a rule of only 1 drink per person but all you have to do is put the drink on the nearest table and you can grab another no problem. The food was amazing different selection every night and the snack bar by the pool had a good selection of pizza pasta and salad. Perfect for lunch. The staff were really friendly and welcoming had no issues at all, and made such a fuss of our little girl it was lovely. At the pool they come and clear all your used plates and cups up so you don't have to take anything back. The Greek nights were brilliant got everyone up to dance and we had such a laugh, we had such fun we attended Greek night twice ! The shuttle to the beach and back was really good always on time and the man driving the bus always helped us on and off as we had the baby again lovely people. We booked the shuttle into town had to book this 2 days in advance no issues we spent 6 hours there and again the bus was on time picking us up and they even provided a car seat for our little girl which we was so grateful for. The people that write the bad reviews in my eyes are just to stuck up there own bums 🙃 ! If you want a nice week away good food lots of cocktails this is the place ! Would 100% return again ! We also got late check out as our flight was a late one this was only an extra 25 euros and as they understood we were allowed to keep our bands for the rest of the day so we basically had an extra day for free !

Nice room, good aircon, no English TV. Food was very good although typical of all inclusive buffet my husband who is a vegetarian said it was the best he's ever experienced especially if you love salad and cheese. Beach too far to walk but transport provided by lovely driver and we went every morning. Complex not suitable if you have any mobility issues as steps and some slopes quite steep. We would go again.

Nice hotel. But you need to be fit as it is all on hills. the beds are so uncomfortable (2 single mattresses pushed together) most of the staff is very Rude. My partner was ill so i got some bread from the restaurant to take back to the room just some she could eat something. I was stopped and shouted at in front of all the Guests, Even though i could of ordered room Service at an extra charge!!! I didn't take any glass plates i put the bread in a paper towel so i didn't see what the problem was. When we first got to the hotel (11pm) there was a bar open so we could get a drink and some food as the bus ride and wait was 4 hours. But we had to pay £25 for 2 cokes and 2 sandwiches. And that was after paying £70 hotel tax.

A boutique hotel in a renovated Venetian building. It looks like we're living in history. Love the exposed beams on the roofs. The bed is very comfortable. The host is warm and welcoming. The place could be better insulated to sound, but with a historical building, I am sure there are limitations. The location is excellent. There are no elevators, so not ideal for people with mobility issues.

Nice, family owned, tranquil hotel located in the old town, walking distance to everywhere. Has a nice restaurant attached which serves a variety of taste dishes. Supermarket 5 min walk from hotel. No elevator and some of the stairs are steep - the higher you are the better the view but the steeper the staircase.

A little gem in the heart of the town. What a wonderful hotel so full of history and character and so well preserved. The family who run it are wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfasts were amazing and we felt thoroughly spoilt! The pool although small was so refreshing in the heat of the day, and the courtyard a lovely place to relax amongst the pretty flowers and plants. The restaurant next door is very good, the service excellent. We would love to go back there should we visit Crete again. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

I really enojyed the location of this establishment and the decoration. The people working there are also extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we were not able to sleep. While the bed was comfortable, there was no sound isolation. We could hear partygoers until 4am as if we were sleeping on the street. I would recommend this place to anyone who actually wants to go party until late in the night, but not to people who want to enjoy a calm stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Filion Hotel. The room was spacious, fresh towels and cleaned everyday. The staff were very helpful with a quick and efficient service. Nothing was too much for them. We like a quiet holiday so the location was really good for us. The pools and areas were very clean. We were also well and truly entertained every evening whilst enjoying some cocktails.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The pool area is well maintained. The location is not ideal if you prefer local shopping. My only criticism is lack of spoons in the dining room. Food is plentiful and available in the pool bar throughout the day. The room was very spacious and clean

We enjoyed a lot our stay in Filion- Sugar villa. Service was perfect. Employees were very friendly and helpful, they accommodated with everything we needed. We had very beautiful view with mountains and sea. In the villa was really clean and we found everything what we needed, like kitchen utensils. There was also nice terrace with the private pool and the grill. The restaurant had amazing medetarian food, where you can choose everything from self service buffet. Really recommend the place!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We found all of the staff to be very kind and helpful, fixing any issues we had quickly. Reception, restaurant, bar staff and cleaners were all very friendly. Room was always left clean with fantastic views from the balcony. Only issue was WiFi connection was quite temperamental in our room. There are three pools to choose from with plenty loungers, with the one we picked very quiet but great to lounge or swim at. Food was perhaps a small selection but still enough. Grilled food was always excellent and always fresh salad available. Downside would be the location. While it is quiet due to being in the hills, this means the local town isn’t walkable but they do offer a free shuttle bus there and back. Overall, an excellent stay.

We spent a week at the Filion Hotel this September and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Despite some of the negative reviews (mentioning issues like cleanliness diminishing the further you were from the main areas, inconsistent pool maintenance, unenthusiastic staff, and hit-or-miss food), I felt the hotel delivered on its promise of a quiet and relaxing all-inclusive holiday (esp. when you consider the price). While the pools were relatively small, there were three to choose from, and finding a sunbed right by the pool was never an issue. It's worth noting, though, that the pool floors were not cleaned daily, and some debris could occasionally be felt at the bottom. The staff was generally helpful and friendly, with special recognition going to the reception team and the pool bar staff, who consistently provided excellent service. The main restaurant offered stunning views and a good variety of dishes, though the menu tended to be repetitive. You could expect to see the same main courses every two to three days. However, this allowed guests to focus on the better-quality options and avoid those that were less impressive. Some of the cutlery wasn’t always spotless, but the staff promptly replaced it when asked. Overall, while the hotel may have seen better days, it still met my expectations and provided the relaxing experience I was hoping for.

Ok, I've spent a nice week at the hotel in first part of October so here is my review. First thing first, if you are looking for a real 5 star experience this is not it. While some elements are almost up to par, other lower the rating. 1. Localization: Good - next to the beach, close to the biggest city on the island, nice park next to the hotel, nice clean pools. Bad - Nothing interesting in walking distance, power plant as a view, next door hotel can get noisy (so can be the workers picking up supplies and trash), no chance for a sea view. Rooms: Good - Clean, comfortable bed. Bad - outdated and in need of renovation (bathroom!!!), extra paid safe! Restaurant: Good - Wide selection of foods, themed restaurants. Bad - Overcrowded! even after the main season! Main restaurant is just too small! sometimes the staff took the old plates while I was getting more food and I lost my place!!! Food: Good - traditional food from Crete, fresh, some good items in the selection almost all the time (fish, shark, seafood, beef,salads). Bad - very uneven taste and quality, pork and chicken usually quite bad, breakfast is just repetitive and bland (scrambled eggs are just terrible, not freshly made omelet), watered down juices, small and repetitive lunch selection at the beach bar. Drinks Good - some good selection with few that are ok Bad - some are just laughably bad, especially with orange juice or rather orange looking water! Everything felt as cheap as possible!! Beach: Good - clean and good number of sunbeds Bad - some rocks, not really much of an infrastructure Staff: Nothing bad to say, very nice and helpful. Some nice animations and live music but not too often sadly. Overall 6/10 experience and I am being very generous here. Only take all inclusive as half-board is beyond ludicrous expensive! Also as this hotel is rated 5 stats the local tax is very high!!! The price to quality ratio not great!! PS. Side note for the travel agency - Coral Travel - Avoid them due to overpriced trips and no real care for the person paying!!!

It's a really nice location with mostly friendly workers. Great animators are the souls of Apollonia and do everything to make this place alive and interesting. Great beach, pleasant pools. Near to the airport. The hotel shop is not overpriced. Spa is expensive, but massage is really good. Night life in the hotel doesn't really exist. After the show, you can just enjoy drinks at the lobby bar. If you are looking for silence and relaxation, with not overcrowded beaches, it's a good choice in September.

A very nice hotel with spacious rooms and individ. air-conditioning. With great views from the balconies... An amazing garden with trees, flowers and places to rest and have fun. A pleasant interior with helpful staff and great choice of meals, fruit and cakes in the main restaurant, together with the possibility to eat in the á la carte free. Nice beach with higher waves in the afternoon - due to almost constant slight wind. A big minus - situated next to an electric power station with constant buzz 24/7 and a hindered view from the beach to the left

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The food was delicious, our room was kept very clean by the excellent housekeeping staff and the evening shows were very entertaining. (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😄) The absolute highlight of our stay was the animation team; they were very friendly and engaging, and the Mini-Club was fantastic for our kids. (⚽️🏓🤽🏽‍♂️⛳️🎨🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🤩) The only minor downside was the room amenities, which didn’t quite meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel. (⭐️⭐️⭐️😐) Unfortunately, the response to our complaint was not better. (⭐️⭐️🙁)

We had a lovely stay. If you are able to accept the Greek easy going style of life, you will be have a good time. The resort has it's quirks, given it's age, but the stuff is making sure you are well cared after, some going extra mile, namely Lefteris, working in main restaurant and day bar area, what a top guy!

As other reviews say, this is definitely not a 5-star resort. The overall offerings of the hotel are good, but there indeed is room for improvement. Food was decent, with a fair selection of foods to choose from. The rooms are OK too for what you pay for, but they could use a renovation — same for much of the rest of the hotel. The activities throughout the day were nice. There is an animation team that puts on a show each night. The animation team on-site are employed by either one Italian travel agency and one French agency. Part of their job was to interact with guests, and unfortunately, they will only acknowledge you if you are a member of that agency. That is my main complaint of this: if you are not a part of either of the two agencies that have a large presence at this hotel, you are completely left out on a lot of the experiences. The beach and pool were nice, but not enough places to sit on most days. Be sure to bring water shoes if you plan on swimming in the ocean.

This hotel is definitely not a 5 stars hotel. I would say more like a 3 star. The staff work hard so not blaming on them but on the management with their poor choices. Food is nice but sometimes some food taste like the have been cooked few days ago. Drinking running out in the machines and I couldn’t get hold of the sweetener I use and someone from the pool bar was in a mood with me just for asking for it. At this time of the year there is barely not much entertainment and the pool table is not free charging 2 euros for each game. We came as all inclusive and most drinks you have to pay. The little fridge in the room doesn’t work and its dirty. I am not being harsh just being honest so people know what to expect if they book this hotel. They could do with some improvements.

Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel spa was very disappointing. We had booked facials and body scrubs for three people. When making the reservation, the staff member and manager of Spa assured us that we could use the spa amenities for the rest of our stay. However, upon arrival, we were denied access to these amenities, and the staff reneged on their promise. The treatment room was too cold, and there were no blankets available for us. After the treatments, we were sent to a shower area without doors, where I ended up being seen naked by a gentleman using the sauna. Overall, this experience was far below our expectations, and we were very disappointed with the service and facilities.

I recently stayed at Annabelle beach resort and had an incredibly disappointing experience. During my stay, my money was stolen from my room. Despite reporting the incident to the hotel staff, they were unhelpful and dismissive. There was no security footage reviewed or any serious attempt to address the theft. I spoke to several of my neighbors at the hotel, and they also reported having their money stolen. I felt completely unsafe and unsupported. While the overall amenities and other aspects of the stay were okay, the cleanliness was lacking a bit. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a secure and pleasant stay.

Amazing service, food and drink Room didn't have kettle, and wasn't really up to normal spec you'd expect in an advertised 4star plus. Not wheelchair friendly as was told by jet2. But the staff made up for everything and helped my disabled mother into a golf cart and took her anywhere she wanted. Nothing near by really. Up hill a shop and restaurant but a bit of a walk

Title: Unforgettable Stay at Knossos Royal - A True Gem in Crete! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Knossos Royal, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The property itself is stunning, with beautifully landscaped gardens, multiple pools, and a private beach with crystal-clear waters that make for the perfect escape. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering a fantastic mix of traditional Greek charm with modern comforts. My room had a lovely view of the sea, and it was a joy to wake up to such beautiful scenery each morning. The staff deserves special recognition. They were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive to every detail, going out of their way to make my stay comfortable. From the front desk to the restaurant servers, everyone was genuinely warm and helpful. The dining experience was excellent. The breakfast buffet was extensive and fresh, with a great selection of local and international dishes. The themed dinners offered nightly kept each meal exciting and allowed me to sample a variety of Cretan flavors and Mediterranean favorites. There are plenty of activities and amenities to keep you entertained – water sports, tennis courts, and even an animation team that hosts fun events throughout the day. Whether you’re looking to relax or stay active, there’s something for everyone. Overall, Knossos Royal provides a perfect balance of luxury, relaxation, and authentic Greek hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Crete – it’s an experience you won’t forget!

The location of the hotel is the best of the region. The gardens are beautiful. The food is mediocre at best. Breakfast is good (although menu service such as eggs benedict and fresh waffles is missing). Lunch is a joke. Dinner is okay. The all-inclusive value is bad unless you like alcohol very much. The beach bar was understaffed. The rooms are dated. My room was not properly cleaned. Mold was ignored by the cleaning staff until it got so excessive that I complained to the hotel. After I complained about it, it was cleaned, but only partially. After I complained a second time, more of it was cleaned, but still some spots were missed by the cleaning staff. The hotel advertises itself as pet friendly with a pet corner for cats, but the pet corner was in a miserable state. Full of trash and without any water or food. I made guest relations aware of this. But they did nothing. Overall, the guest relations team was a mixed experience for me. All in all, the hotel is a good 3 star hotel, maybe a 4 star hotel at best. They don't even have spoons or proper cups.

If a holiday is made by the people you meet ,then this is absolutely fantastic. Lovely villa , lovely pool, close to the beach, lovely food even my vegan wife agreed, did we care that our shower had a slight leak absolutely not .

Hi, This was my first holiday to anywhere in Greece and what a great first impression i got. I travelled to this resort last week with my wife, 2 kids and mother in law. From the moment we entered the place the staff treated us with kindness and respect and were helpful, friendly and eager to help. This level of service from all the staff we got throughout our stay to when we got on the coach to leave. The hotel complex is in an ideal location mostly surrounded by beach and has stunning views of the sea, sunset and sunrise. The apartments and villas are very nicely laid out with lovely shared private pools. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The communal areas are also very nice to go for walks and the grounds are kept to a very high standard. We tried all the restaurants (great choice) and food areas and the quality of the wide variety of food and level of service was excellent. They also have some nice bars. The beach bar was my favourite. The main bar has different entertainment every night. I would highly recommend this resort to families, couples and friend groups. Lastly, I would like to thank all the staff there for making our holiday that extra special. Also extra special thanks to the very nice lady with blonde hair ( there was only one and sadly didn't get her name) who served us lunch at the beach restaurant.

Very nice location directly on a sandy beach. Hotel rooms are OK, the staff is mostly super friendly. Breakfast is above average with a big selection of cereals in addition to the usual bread, fruit and warm/egg selection. The juices were 3-star standard though, nothing freshly squeezed. Dinner buffet was OK, desserts were nice, the main dishes mostly good. Child club was great, with the ladies taking great care of the kids. Main downside though: this is a very smoker-friendly (and non- smoker unfriendly) hotel, without any outdoor smoke- free places. Even the kids disco was in a semi-outdoor bar where people were smoking. Waiters were a bit too pushy when trying to sell wine.

After 10 days here I simply can not recommend this hotel. -Pants for dinner at a beach hotel in 2024, ridiculous and uncomfortable -Kids club staff is competent, wonderful with the kids and really making an effort all day. The program however is repetitive and not interesting (at least for my son) -Kids playground and pool lack in maintenance and majority of it not functioning -The “infinity” pool is simply a normal pool surrounded by sunbeds with no sea view from pool. -Frustrating Restaurant policies-seating times, fixed tables, drastically reduced menu in a la carte restaurants for half board guests etc. -Tennis courts and the “volleyball net” are not at all maintained -Basically whole resort is concrete and filled with stairs with virtually no green space -Overpriced drinks at bars and restaurants, double local standard outside resort. -The rat on stairs up to kitchen says all you need to know about hotels standards, see photo -Main positive are beautiful sea views from nearly anywhere on resort. You can do much better in Crete for the money charged.

Great location of the hotel, right in the centre of Stalis. The beach was clean with a nice view. The staff very friendly. A big thank you to the Kids Club Team, they are passionate and very experienced. We moved from Ikaros to Alexander Beach this year because we know the team of the kids club. Improvement: The food is okey but not a five star rating. We come back.

My family had wonderful time at the hotel: we received a kind offer to occupy a room with a private pool which was a perfect place for our 2 year old to learn how to swim. The staff at the hotel are very welcoming and particularly kind and understanding of families with kids. The beach has sun lounges that are owned by the hotel which makes it very accessible and easy to use. We left with lovely memories of our stay in Cretw

Terrible WiFi. The only place you could use it was in the main lobby and even there the connection wasn't perfect. The pool was full of chemicals and hurt your face and eyes after 10 minutes. Otherwise it was amazing and beautiful. The beach was nice and the room was comfortable. Would go there again.

Superb hotel, spread over a reasonably large area you don't feel crowded in. The two main pools along with the beach adjacent offer a variety of areas to relax and enjoy your holiday. The pool bar, crepere and poolside restaurant means there's somewhere for all tastes to enjoy a drink, snack or full meal. The staff are friendly and always smiling. Nothing is too much.

We had a lovely stay in Serita this October. Restaurants were good, facilities great, rooms could be better (cleaning was irregular), grounds and common areas immaculate though. Can use handy bus service just outside the hotel to Heraklion and Agia Nicholaus, cheap and efficient if you want to get about. Guests are mostly Polish, French and some English. Special thanks to bar staff Kostas and Alexandros and also reception staff Theoni and Maria, you are the best! Beach is fine despite the rocks, shame it was windy.

We spent most of the time around the pools because the beach is not really usable (stones, rocks etc) that's the only less positive thing about this place. Overall 5 star experience.

This was our second stay at this hotel. The first time we went to this resort at the end of September in 2021 and now again in August. The hotel was fully booked but as it is a quiet small and comfy hotel it doesn't feel crowed. You have enjoy space and u can really enjoy it to the fullest. Sometimes it also feels like a private little beach. Went to the spa two times. Maria explained all treatments in detail and was super kind. The two girls at the spa Georgia and Anna did an amazing massage. It is a pity I fell asleep, but it was too relaxing. Also it was just us at the spa, so even more quiet atmosphere. Never been to an accommodation twice but for this hotel I made an exception 🙃

Nice Spa-Resort not far from Chania. The resort as such is beautiful, the rooms are nice, maybe a bit too small. The Service is great, the stuff always very kind and helpful. The Bar at the beach is the nicest place for a Cappuccino prepared by Marianna who always has a smile for her guests :-) .

All in all a great experience, food was delicious and the staff more than polite and helpful. Some minor stuff triggered me a bit, when having in mind that we paid 350€ for one night: - the room with hot tub was really really small. We struggled to find a place for our suitcases. - In some evenings (two out of four) was no warm (not hot) water available in the shower - There wasn't even a bottle of water included for the evening buffet. You got one on your room every morning tho. - The sea is bit really nice for snorkeling, there is nothing but small stones and sand (just for your information, not an issue of the hotel) - The "adults only" thing is nice, but If there is a group of Americans being louder than a whole school class it's kind of pointless. But I guess that's the same thing wherever you go. + The hot tub was amazing + We really enjoyed the play room every evening with ping pong and pool tables + Great concept with ordering via app directly to your sunbed. The pizza was amazing, the cocktail however not. We tried once and were harshly disappointed.

The hotel facilities were splendid ! Everything was carefully planned and set out for our arrival and the entirety of our stay. Regarding the Spa and Wellness facility: we booked a Duo - full body - Cretan massage that was highly recommended. The advice we received was precise, tailored for each individual and carefully thought out. Maria and her team (Anna and Georgia) did a formidable job: they were always so welcoming and the quality of the treatment was excellent. We also enjoyed the other facilities available in the Spa: indoor pool and steam room. Everything was clean and soothing. Overall great experience.

Stayed at La Mer for 7 nights with my partner as a birthday holiday. The second we walked through the door, we were greeted by Giorgos who instantly made us feel comfortable and made a raki mojito (now a firm favourite) while we went through the details of our stay. I cannot begin to thank all of the wonderful staff here enough for making our stay such a memorable trip. The food was delicious, offering a different selection every evening and again, lots of warm welcomes from the staff, making sure we had our glasses topped up. Very sad to leave this Cretan haven but very much looking forward to coming back in the future!

Always good but now even better. This was our fourth time back at the resort and we were glad to see that it's survived the pandemic with many of the existing staff, but they're making improvements! We had villa 408 which now has 40Mb wifi and very comfortable memory foam memory toppers. Of course, the food is still excellent - it's really nicely done authentic Greek food with superb service. If they don't have what you want, just ask and it will be there the next night. Very vegetarian friendly but you need to ask for the veggie moussaka which is excellent (I hope it's made it to the menu now). Breakfast is a great buffet with everything that you need - loads of variety. Grounds are still lovely. Receptionists are even better and more knowledgeable than ever!

The Royal Heights Resort impresses with its spectacular view over Malia. The room seemed in good condition, though it was obvious that renovations are needed sooner than later. Staff was always attentive and very friendly, they were trying their best everyday.

An absolutely stunning view of the mountains a great place to relax. The pool is large so it’s never crowded, plus there is a shallow pool for the little ones it’s amazing. The bar service is great they speak English really well and have a good variety of drinks and serve foods such as toasties, crisps and chips. It is an amazing place for a wedding reception with tables ready to be built up for weddings. The inside is so pristine and elegant i would definitely recommend to people staying in Crete.

We travelled in October 2024 with young children, having previously visited twice before when the hotel was Blue Sentido. The hotel is very clean and nice, however, this hotel does not cater at all for children - our children were very disappointed at the poor mini disco and turning up when mini disco was supposed to be on and it wasn't. It ruined our holiday as the hotel was advertised as having kids entertainment. Years ago the mini disco used to be held in the main bar area so parents could enjoy a drink. However, they put the mini disco on in the outskirts of the hotel where it was so dark, poor sound system, no atmosphere at all. It was shocking. One evening my kids got dressed up excited to go to mini disco, only to turn up and the person meant to be taking mini disco was kicking a football around instead. We left before we got hit by a football and asked why was mini disco not on. Almost all the guests at this hotel frowned upon the kids as if it should be an adults only hotel. We didn't feel welcome at all with the kids. There is nothing for kids to do during the day and nothing in the evening. The evening entertainment is not great. And the bar area is full of older German people smoking and being very loud. On a positive note, the hotel is very clean and staff are friendly but the place has a weird atmosphere with nothing for children. We asked for a sea view room but were put into the Annex building which felt really shut off from everything. Lots of mosquitos around. I got around 20 bites during our 7 day stay. Manager was very nice but kids facilities and entertainment very poor. This should be an adults only hotel. Wouldn't return.

Myself, my mum and daughter have just returned from spending 10 fabulous nights here. We have had the best time and that is down to how beautiful the hotel and grounds are, the staff, the food and location! Firstly the hotel itself is set in the most gorgeous gardens surrounding all the rooms and facilities. It’s immaculate and the variety of plants and trees is stunning. Our room had a garden view and was central to the pool and restaurant/bar areas. We were in a block of rooms all ground floor with seating area outside with loungers. There are other blocks of rooms that are 2 storey too. There’s a mix of rooms, some are next to the pool, or on the front facing the sea, and some have their own pool. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard. Even though our seating area was taken up by a bed for my daughter, we still had room to get ready in comfort. Only slight negatives on the room is the air conditioning could be better within the main area and the tv has only a couple of English channels which are just news ones. It would of been good to have the option of seeing other channels for those times when relaxing in the room. Restaurants- The main buffet restaurant is a great size with both inside and outside seating. The staff are fabulous and friendly and are at your table within a couple of minutes to take your drinks order. The food variety is good but I would of liked to see more beef, chicken and fish being offered at the chefs grill. We only had roast chicken one day and I didn’t see and chicken being cooked on the grill. Fresh fish would of been good too- I would of loved some fish and salad. There tended to be a lot of pork on offer which unfortunately I don’t like too much. There was a couple of occasions that I just fancied a tuna salad and as it wasn’t on that day, I spoke to one of the kitchen staff and they kindly brought me out tuna which was fantastic. All the staff at the resort can not do enough for you and are always super happy to help. The a la cart restaurant was really lovely too. We had one visit included within our all inclusive and booked it with the lady at the entrance to the main restaurant. The food was fantastic there and the lady who is the chef there was so friendly and informative on the food on offer. It’s only small so book early! We loved the decor in there too and it looks out to sea which is just gorgeous. There is also the pool bar that serve fresh food to order, great burgers, wraps etc. The wait can be a while in the queue at peak times but if you just leave it till it’s quieter it’s much quicker. Pool- The pools were all really clean. They are not massive but ample enough and my daughter loved them as did I. The loungers around the pool on the grassed area are a little tired- it would be so much better to have the loungers that are at the pool by the bar and the front of the hotel. They are so much comfier with the padded toppers as oppose to the older loungers which can be a little uncomfortable. The tree crickets in all the trees are super loud but we actually didn’t mind it and quiet enjoyed listening to them! Evening entertainment- This is the only negative to the hotel to be honest. It would be so much better if they had a proper show or something aimed at a younger audience. There were some traditional singers and a couple of nights of dancers but something more entertaining would of been good- maybe a magician, acrobats, a pop singer tribute act etc. We felt the entertainment was a little stale and more aimed at an older audience. The bar is lovely and airy, nice seating areas and a fab variety of cocktails on offer. Beach- The beach itself is beautiful and the sea comes right up to the wall and it’s not a big walk to the water, it’s just metres from the sun loungers. The view of the coastline is amazing and to be honest the whole area is stunning. There are lots of shops, bars and restaurants right next to the hotel so it’s just a very short walk which we found as a big plus to the hotel. We cannot wait to return next year! We had the best holiday!

We stayed in a room with a private pool, close to the main pool. We were there in June, so the weather was perfect and it was not as crowded. It honestly looks better in person than it does in the pictures. The sunbeds at the pool are of very high quality and very comfortable. The room is very large and the private pool is private, you can’t be seen from the outside. The resort is very large, so there are long ways to the different areas. You can order a golf cart but that takes a while sometimes and by that time you can just walk. The beach is on the other side of the road through a tunnel, again you can asked to be driven over. The water park is also awesome for kids. The whole hotel is very luxurious and modern. We had half board. The drinks and lunch was pretty pricey, so if it makes sense upgrade to all in. I would say it’s worth it to do it for €100 p.p. The hotel is also kind of out there, so I would recommend a car rental. Although I believe there is a bus stop not too far away (saw it but never took it, we always rented a car). It would have been a five star experience if the food and evening entertainment would have been better, but the rooms and common areas are pure luxury, I would definitely go back and recommend 100%

Nice place to stay. We booked a 2 bedroom suite but changed to a suite with 2 rooms and sofa beds in the later. Both with private pool. You should be aware that the 2 bedroom suites have the second room and living room in the basement (bedroom without windows); I.e., only book these rooms if you are comfortable with a bedroom without windows. Two room suite with 2 sofa-beds worked better for us. Rooms otherwise are good. Very good and swift cleaning. I am yet on the brakes on service as the quality of food especially at dinner is mass tourism like and average at best. We opted out to have dinner outside. On the flip-side, breakfast is very good. Processes in the hotel are partially bureaucratic (e.g., you get paper vouchers to swap them into pool towels, exchange only one by one, they want to charge fees if you need a new room key (the usual plastic cards), and some things simply do not work: one of the two toilets did never really work - maintenance did some fixes once that worked for 15 min, and never showed up again despite calling the reception multiple times. They basically do not really care. You only get the standard answer „will come immediately“ which eventually never happens. But very nice location. Good beach access and transport with golf cars if needed.

My second time to Anemos. One of the best buffets among all the 5 star hotels on the island. Always fresh and with various choices. I litterally will come back again just for the food :). The room is very clean and the private beach is cool too.

The hotel was very nice, there were nice pools and the beach was very nice where we were there. During the autumn holidays it wasn't so busy and we didn't always have to reserve sunbeds at the beach. We had a room that was right next to a pool which was very quiet and relaxed. But at the main pool you had to reserve sunbeds otherwise they were all gone. At first we thought there wouldn't be much entertainment and activities. That was the case at the beginning. The first two days we didn't know where the activities might be during the day. But it turned out that there were shows and aqua fitness by the jetty at the main pool and at the beginning there was some kind of game in the evening where you had to guess the songs but it was a bit stupid because they spoke French and we didn't understand anything but then for the last three days there was real live music and on the last day there was an Al White party. There was a little show and an entertainer sang and danced beautifully, so that was very, very nice, but now we come to the bad part of the holiday, the room. We had a room for three people and as soon as we walked in there were ants. The shower wasn't clean and had a bit of limescale on it and it just wasn't clean. Then our safe didn't work one time and we didn't have a telephone to call and they said we had a telephone and so on, but we didn't, so we would have to go to reception and let them know, but it was all sorted out and they were very friendly, but it was just a shame that we didn't have a telephone, but otherwise it's a very nice hotel with very friendly staff and entertainment, the room just wasn't the best. Maybe it was just ours. The drinks at the bar were good, but there were only three non-alcoholic cocktails which were included in the price, and the drinks always had some sweet stuff in them which wasn't really my taste.

We are extremely disappointed with the resort’s (lack of) customer service! Since November, we have been trying to get a wedding quote for May, and after three months, we still haven’t received it – this is simply unacceptable. We sent over 10 emails, Instagram, and Facebook messages from multiple accounts, yet it’s unbelievable how they just ignored us. As an international wedding planner, I communicate with 10-20 hotels daily. The longest response time I usually encounter is one week in the low season and two weeks in the high season. The issue here is not that they didn’t receive our messages—because they always replied to the first email—but then they disappeared, no matter how many follow-ups I sent! If they had no availability, they could have just said so. Instead, the poor couple were waiting for their response every single day, as this was their first-choice venue, and they had no backup plan—we put everything on this one option. Luckily, I found another hotel’s venue in Crete where the customer service is truly five-star, and they responded within a day. If we had kept waiting for this resort, the couple would now be left without a venue just three months before their wedding. It’s truly disheartening to see that such a supposedly five-star venue can be so unreliable!

Pro: The location of the resort is wonderful! The room was spacious, the air conditioning worked very well, and the room was cleaned every day. The staff was very professional... perfect service (at the beach bar, restaurant, and other places where drinks were served). I liked that the staff always helped immediately with a smile on their faces. The whole place is amazing. Contra: There are some things that don't work... for example, the fountain, the restaurant that isn't operational, and some areas that could be better maintained.

Im sorry to say that I came home after a week here feeling disappointed and still feeling aggrieved at the cost for such poor quality. Lots of plus points -excellent, friendly staff, very clean etc but I was very disappointed with the food, quality and selection were very poor for such an expensive holiday. Very limited choices of main courses and most were cheap cuts of meat prepared into local dishes. I have to say the turkey roll was disgusting - tasteless, full of gristle and bits of bones and no special diets meals for my wife who is intolerant to gluten. The food was nearly always cold despite being in heated containers and portions small - a very thin pork chop cut in half!! What's that about? I should have booked B&B only and used the many local eateries My other 'beef' is the superior swim up room which was very nice but the private sun lounging area and pool, didnt see the sun after midday so definitely not worth the extra money. We could only sunbathe outside our room for about an hour first thing in the morning before the day heated up so the pool was very cold too! We could have had a 2 week 5* holiday with much better food for the price

Amazing hotel. We are in a swim up room, and it has been perfect. Few niggles with the room as I think we are the first ever guests to stay in it, however they were all sorted out quickly. The service is excellent, the staff are all very friendly. We are here on a bed and breakfast tariff, and the breakfast has been great. I wouldn't bother with evening meals or lunch, there are so many nice tavernas around that do fantastic food, as tourists we need to keep them in business.

We had a very relaxing and tranquil stay at Castello Boutique. We stayed in one of the suites with sea view and infinity pool which are amazing, we enjoyed watching the sunset and sunrise from our balcony. The staff were very welcoming, Aphrodite and Christina on reception were particularly helpful. Good breakfast spread and clean facilities. Recommend going early for breakfast if you like hot/warm food. The hotel is close to shops and restaurants only 5 mins walk away. There is a lot of building works within the vicinity but this didn’t affect our stay in any way. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the gym is inadequate for a 5 star facility. Needs air con and better variety of equipment. Also the air con on our floor stopped working one night and the heat was unbearable to sleep. The night porter really tried to help but moving room at 3am wasn’t ideal.

We had an amazing stay at the Castello Boutique Hotel and it's fair to say they saved our holiday. We had originally booked a 7 night hotel stay around 20 mins away in Koutouloufari but had such a bad experience with staff and the room that we checked out after only one night. We looked online and found the Castello Boutique and drove over to see if they had an availability. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating - showing us the room that was available before booking us in for 6 nights. The room was fantastic - really clean with a super comfortable bed and with the bonus of a hot tub! Facilities at the hotel were outstanding - a fantastic spa with a lovely indoor pool and gym and beautiful outdoor pool area. The breakfast buffet was great - a great selection of hot & cold options and number of traditional local favourites too. The evening a la carte menu was also outstanding - brilliant traditional food with a modern twist and brilliant value. However, it was the staff who made this such a great stay. Every member of the staff throughout the entire hotel were not only professional but also incredibly welcoming and friendly and more than happy to go above and beyond to help. It was a true pleasure to stay here and we can't recommend it highly enough!

Despite the fact that the hotel is not new, we felt very comfortable in it. We were given a room on the left and not far from the main building. We were accommodated on the first floor and so we did not have a pool, but in this case we came to the sea. There were fewer sun loungers by the beach and that was the reason why we lay by the pool. We experienced days when the wind blew more and so it was not possible to swim in the sea. We were accommodated in mid-September 2024. We did not have any problems, as some guests report. The food was plentiful and varied. Every evening was themed. We really enjoyed it there. We also recommend the ala carte restaurant. I do not say that we will ever return there, but we liked it.

The hotel definitely doesn't look like a 5-star hotel. The room – nice at first glance. The bathroom could use a complete renovation. The rooms could use a thorough cleaning (there was a significant mess under the bed and in the corners), the air conditioning worked, but sometimes it had a mind of its own. The terrace door couldn't be properly locked. However, the room looked nice. The restaurant – excellent, great food, and there's something for everyone (meats, salads, fish, pasta, desserts, fruits, and just about everything you can think of). Every evening, the dinner was in a different style (Italian, Cretan, Mexican, etc.). The staff was very pleasant, and the restaurant was clean. The pool – although they take care of the pool and clean it every evening, unfortunately, the pool was slightly cloudy the entire time, and the edges of the pool could also use a cleaning. (Maybe better pool chemicals or better filtration should be used). But overall, the pool and its surroundings were very nice and pleasant. There was a bar and an afternoon restaurant by the pool. The bar offered a wide selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and they were very good – prepared by a skilled bartender. The hotel is located right by the beach. The beach was sandy and clean, with the option to use the hotel’s sun loungers and umbrellas for free. The sea in this area is very clean. Despite the fact that the hotel could use a bit of renovation or repairs, I highly recommend it, and these shortcomings are definitely balanced out by the excellent staff, location, and delicious cuisine. And you don't have to worry about getting bored at the hotel. Practically all day, from morning until night, there was some program organized in different parts of the hotel by the talented animators – beach volleyball, ping pong, guessing songs, pool exercises, etc.

Booked my stay as I thought it was a 5 star hotel but it wasn’t (advertised as a 5 star). Room smelled a bit like sewage and the entire place is a little run down. The neighboring hotels looked much better. Nonetheless we made the best of it and enjoyed our time with the all inclusive amenity.

Four of us (2 adults and 2 children 8 and 13) spent 5 nights at Kiani Beach Resort. It was brilliant - even better than we expected. Our room was fabulous- very spacious, great bathroom and the beds were large and very comfortable. The hotel staff couldn’t have been nicer. We had zero issues throughout our stay so we didn’t need their help but everyone was so welcoming and sweet with our children. The food and drinks were superb - something for everyone and plentiful even when we made it late for breakfast or dinner. The setting and the facilities are excellent. The hotel is right by the sea which is perfectly safe for bigger kids - young ones you would need to watch out for as it gets deep fairly quickly. Or you can use the numerous pools including a great indoor pool which is next to a very decent gym. And there’s a paddle court and tennis court too as well as group activities like beach volleyball. So if you want to be active you can or you can just completely relax in a lovely setting. We’ll be back next year! thank you for such a brilliant holiday.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Kiani Beach Resort with our two small children (3 years old). The hotel has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and is divided into three sections. The first one is the oldest, right by the sea, with a pool, while the second is newer and features a fantastic children’s pool with slides. The third section is the newest, and we were lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade to a room with a private pool there. The room was stunning, modern, and very comfortable, and having our own pool was simply incredible. The food was delicious, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this resort, especially the rooms with private pools—they're the newest and really add something special to the experience. The beach is also excellent for families, with soft sand and a gentle, child-friendly slope into the water. We had a fantastic time and would love to come back!

Been there for a week last summer and it's been mainly a disappointment. Room was rather spacious and nice as well as the dedicated pool. But there were free problems that the administration very arrogantly turned them down (water temperature, leaking balcony). Very unprofessional! In particular for a such high price. Moreover the overall property was very dense and you'd have to pass by people's supposedly private areas. Disappointing.

We stayed 11 nights at Esperides. We really liked everything there and the hotel itself is absolutely great. The different levels of buildings makes it very unique and you feel like in a small village rather than a massive hotel complex. We enjoyed half board and liked the different variety of food. The rooms are spotless and cosy. The hot tub was also clean and relaxing. I would like to highlight the friendly staff and how they also care about their guests. We wanted to change the room for some reason and they even offered us an upgrade! We are very satisfied with our stay . Thanks to the whole team! We can highly recommend the Hotel. The village around the hotel is stunning and it offers more than 30 restaurants with authentic Greek food. I recommend renting a car to explore Crete and to stay flexible. Free car parking is available.

We are family with 2 young children 4,7 This place is outstanding. The resort is very authentic, greek style.. The room is lovely, and very clean. Stuff are cleaning the rooms and the area at all given time No problem with towels. Stuff are nice and helpful. Dinner is changing every night and has lots of . options. Even a section for gluten free , everyone can find something to eat.and it is above my expectations. Right outside of the resort there's a supermarket which is convenient. Also lots of restaurants, tavernas and caffe. To go to the beach you need to register a day before for a free shuttle which goes only once to the beach and back in the evening. We took a taxi to a different beach in the area. It is absolutely value for money and recommended.

Booked a two bedroom family suite, but upon arrival were placed in one large space with 4 beds (so not separate bedrooms) - which was not convenient traveling with two little kids. After some perseverance and with help of our local travel agency agent, the next day we were offered an alternative suite which did meet our expectations. From that point onwards the remainder of the holiday was great! Great location, small scale resort, kids club was superb, food was tasty, drinks okay but some very sweet. Would recommend!

Large package tourist hotel set out in a series of low rise apartment buildings. Good location on the coast and just a short stroll from the town. Food is fine (apart from the oddly empty a la carte greek restaurant) and staff mainly friendly (apart from the occasional frosty receptionist). Some elements (room fittings, sun beds, tennis court) slightly shabby. Unheated pools a big minus as by October they were just too cold to use for more than 15 mins

Please do not believe any poor reviews. This resort is a quiet resort in a great location. Receptionists and managers were lovely. Room was lovely and cleaned every day by a lovely housekeeping team. All staff were so helpful and so nice. The food selection at all meal times was excellent. The resort is kept to a very high standard and cleanliness is also a very high standard. I would highly recommend this resort especially for families they have a variety of pools and a kids club!

Had a lovely holiday at Vasia Hotel. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Great entertainment and music at the Cotton bar and learned some of the local language from Esma the bar man.Sisi is also a stunning little town with a cute harbor. For sure we will be visiting again

Hotel spotless. Staff lovely. Lack of storage in rooms only small wardrobe and 3 draws, for 2 people staying 10 days. No bright light for applying make up. Food, repetitive and not hot. Coffee served at breakfast luke warm. Asked for machine coffee, but even that was just warm. Restaurant open till 9.30pm but staff started clearing unused tables at 8.50pm. Throwing table clothes in a pile over their shoulders. I appreciate they have a job to do, but not whilst people are still eating and it's a while till end of service. Sun beds available, but if you want one I the sun, you have to be up early. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Very aesthetically beautiful hotel. Around a lot of shops and right next to the sea. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous. We had a view of the hills and it was amazing. The buffet restaurant wasn’t the best the food is great if you aren’t picky, there should definitely be a small bit for picky eaters or even children. The male manager of the restaurant was disgusting toward the staff always making sure to embarrass them infront of everybody. Every other restaurant staff was so kind. Some staff around the hotel are quite ignorant and not very helpful. The entertainment is great and there is a variety of things to do. The hotel isn’t for children though so if you’re looking for a nice quiet break this is the place. Overall an amazing stay just a small few downsides!

All the hotel went over and above to make us feel comfortable and relaxed from the reception to the service. The food is very tasty. We also visited the spa . It’s was top class 5 start, counting ask or anything better really. Just as long as you realise in some countries a lot in fact what’s classed as a 5 star abroad that it would equal 4 stare maybe 4 abd half although the beach resort are above a 5 in someways but not in others. Give them time because you can see what they are striving for. Had a chat with some of the staff and they followed it to a T one or two things was not ever going to get them a 5 star unfortunately. 10/10 ten for trying at the beach resort

Nice hotel in a central location in Stalis. Food very good tasty and varied. It is very modern in design with lots of glass. The rooms are comfortable but lack storage. We were in a room on the 3rd floor which had a bathroom. The walls of the bathroom are coloured glass not really possible to see through it. It has a super shower. The bathroom is very small This is why I have only given the room 4stars. Small bathroom and no storage. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean

This is a wonderful hotel for a family vacation. It is located with a great view of the mountains on a wide sandy beach with shallow water which makes it perfect to enjoy the sea. The hotel is set up like a village inside of a park and has several large pool areas which are really pretty and well-maintained. The rooms are very nice and well kept, every building has only two floors so each room either has a terrace or a balcony and is rather quite and sometimes even surprisingly private. A little drawback for a vacation with small kids is that none of the pools are heated. Even the small indoor pool is a bit chill which is nice for adults but not so good with kids. Also a minor point is that the hotel is split into two areas by the main traffic road but there is a tunnel between both parts and there is hardly any noise from the street. The food is really good and on the upper range of quality for hotel buffets. The bars are located nicely and quality of drinks is also good. The hotel offers a kids club, a paid mini train to two nearby destinations and private beach access. There are also small shops and a mini supermarket in the hotel as well as a rental car office. Only minor drawback is the service - the staff is friendly but sometimes takes quite some time to notice the guests and their orders as well as setting up tables. Overall, this is a really great place for a vacation in Crete.

This hotel is definitely not up to 5-star standards. If you're accustomed to staying in 5-star hotels, you'll likely be disappointed. While some aspects are good, many fall short of what you'd expect from a 5-star experience. The location is nice, with a good beach and plenty of loungers available. However, the food is mediocre—I don't understand the positive reviews. The menu is repetitive, the quality is average, and the desserts are poor. The waitstaff, especially the male servers, are rude. I often felt like I had to apologize just for requesting water or coffee. The main restaurant feels more like a cafeteria, with tables packed closely together and music that is too loud. The pools are okay, but they don't seem very clean. The water is always murky. The rooms are okay, but they don't meet the standards of a 5-star hotel. The cleaning staff do their best, but it seems like they are overworked.

Fantastic family friendly hotel with a beautiful beach! We've visited Pilot Beach Resort two years in a row with our very young children (1 and 3 years old) and it's been a wonderful experience both times. The beach is amazing, clean, safe and with (most of the time) calm waters. It’s ideal for families. The rooms are as shown in the pictures and being close to the beach is definitely worth it. The buffet options at all the restaurants are excellent. The appetizers and main courses are always well-prepared and there’s something for everyone. However, for the desserts, only a few really stood out. The kid’s corner restaurant is great, it is open during the day until 5PM. In 2023, we noticed it was a bit dirty but they’ve made more efforts in 2024 to keep it clean. The variety of food for kids is fantastic, although I wish they had boiled vegetables in the buffet options (like in all the other restaurants). The staff is wonderful, always friendly and accommodating to families. Over two years, we never had a single disappointment with the service. There’s also a new playground near the football grounds for kids aged 3 and up, which is a fantastic addition! I only wish they had something there for children under 3. Almost every night, there are 2 to 4 events or shows, all worth attending. Our kids especially enjoyed the mini-disco and magician shows. On a practical note, we had to visit the nearby hospital during our stay and the staff there were excellent. We felt very secure and the doctors were professional and attentive. Thank you Pilot Beach Resort for giving us amazing family memories! We came here twice during a time when we desperately needed rest and fun with our little ones and both visits exceeded our expectations!

My family (2 kids with ages 1 and 3), my wife and I were there in August 2024, for a half pension stay. We wanted to try out different restaurants and different tastes of delicious greek food, at least for din er, and we are satisfied. For the hotel, everything was good : clean rooms, nice sandy beach reserved for hotel in walking distance, delicious food at buffet, and friendly staff . (Our 3 year old daughter loved the animation staff, and wanted to participate for almost all of activities :) The only improvement topic I can think of about the hotel is, the taxi driver that the receptionists call when you need a taxi. The receptionists called almost the same taxi driver who was rude and trying to hurry you up in a disrespectful manner; which is the last thing that a family with kids need in a relaxed holiday plan. My suggestion is, find another taxi when you are in Georgiopolis city center, and call the taxi by yourselves, instead of being directed to the impolite taxi, as if it was the only taxi available in the whole city. Because, thee only rude person in Kreta can be that taxi driver, rest of the population is very friendly, including taxi drivers.

We absolutely loved this place. The welcome was outstanding with just the right amount of information. The activities were discrete, really great and kid's club spot on. Family disco was well handled and the Saolin Acrobats out of this world. The staff were immaculately friendly, polite and engaged even though our stay was the very last week of the season. Our room was well looked after all week. It wasn't fully booked as it was Oct-Nov so maybe there was a little more space for everything to happen easily. We had booked B&B and the breakfasts were varied, plentiful and delicious. Great, fresh food. The pool is salt water which is so much nicer than chlorine. The loungers were comfy, towels plentiful and there was no banging music (phew!) It felt really high class and like a luxury stay. Thank you, Grecotel Creta Palace for a very memorable 5 days.

Please be aware that hotel easily downgrades the room and does not offer a different room or even money back. Under all rooms description where you will find the phrase "Room features may differ" means that your room will be easily downgraded and hotel will not even apologize. We booked a superior family bungalow garden room and expected two separate rooms but received only with one room and a hallway. Of course, there was also only one TV, one wardrobe as well, even if description and floor plan in hotel website showed differently. During our 9 days stay the hotel did not manage to change our room, so I would assume that majority of rooms in this hotel are not according to specifications listed on their web page. Be careful and I don`t recommend to book this hotel.

So happy to spend time at this hotel. Check in went fast, and we were a group of 7. Been there several times, and it is always nice to come back. Friendly and helpfull staff. Excellent service from Nikos at the beach bar, always had a smile and checking if things were ok. Spent everyday at the beach and paying for sunbeds is ok, then they are ours all day.

It is barely a 3 star hotel, I cannot call it a 5 stars. Small rooms, old furniture, the bathroom was dirty and the room floor full o sand. They clean the rooms daily but it is very supperficial. The front desk people are very rude and unfriendly. I paid for a pool/farden view room and they gave us a street view room, which prevented us fron sleeping all night. Porto Platanias is very noisy at night, beware of that. We asked to change our room and they showed us a room which was poorly illuminated, stinky, with no windows in the sleeping area, next to a pool. I refused it and kept the loudy street view room. They did not offer us other rooms, saying they are fully booked. The outside area is nice, they have a kids corner area, the resort was cleaned daily. They have multiple pools, but it is overcrowded and people book their sunbeds in the morning even if the hotel says it is forbidden, leaving no free spots for the others. The food was ok-ish, the breakfast was the same daily - eggs, bacon, pancakes, yogurt, porridge, a mix of local fruits. We had dinner included as well, it had multiple varieties from sea food, fish, pork, lamb, beef and local dishes, but the salads corner was not once, but at least 3 times gone bad, having a rotten taste. Probably they reuse the remaining from the previous breakfast/lunch. At least the restaurant has a nice view to the sea. If you come here with the kids, the beach area is not very child friendly. The beach is very narrow and crowded, it can barely host 6 rows of sunbeds. 10eurs 2 sunbeds and one umbrella. The beach is full of gravel and the entry in the sea as well. At around 20 meters from the hotel there is a pipe crossing the beach area to the sea, probably somebody dumps waste water in the sea through that pipe. I recommend you take the bus to Agia Marina instead. Overall, I wouldn't chose this hotel again.

The hotel is right next to the beach and they have many pools. And the best of the best is the Animation Team!!! They suggest good sporty activities and night shows. The team is very nice, they have a lot of energy and good motivation. You are never bored during the day. You can always find somethig to do thanks to the animations.

I'm writing to express my deep disappointment with our recent stay at your hotel. We initially booked a suite, but were given a subpar room that in no way matched our expectations. When we requested a room change, it took days to accommodate us, and the replacement room had issues of its own, namely mold and a malfunctioning air conditioning system. Only after 4-5 days were we moved to a room resembling what we originally booked. This is simply not the standard we expected when booking. The dining experience was another letdown. The food at the buffet was not up to par, and the fact that the restaurants were constantly fully booked left us with no other dining options. It's frustrating to have such limited choices, especially at a hotel that presents itself as a 5-star establishment. From my perspective, the hotel rating feels closer to a 2 or 3 star, rather than the advertised 5 star. Frankly, we feel like our money was wasted on this experience. It was noticeable too that there were always guests lined up at reception with their own complaints, which doesn't speak well of the overall guest satisfaction. I hope you take these points into consideration for future guests. The experience, as it stands, leaves a lot to be desired.

Beautiful hotel, had such a relaxing week here. Buffet has such great choice, plenty of variety and tastes good. Staff are all friendly and helpful, they could just do with keeping on top of clearing dining tables after people have finished eating. Our cleaner was so lovely, our room was always clean and comfortable. Good working air con, loved the all inclusive cocktails. Beautiful turquoise sea, enjoyed swimming with the fish. Nice hour walk into the nearest small town Sisi. Agree with others that some things are starting to look a bit tired - some things like the sun loungers could do with an upgrade.

Booked an all-inclusive holiday at this resort. However, we arrived late after our flight was delayed, it was after 11pm. The reception said that there is no restaurant open at this hour but if you want to eat there is a restaurant that is open where we will have to pay. This restaurant was within the resort. We were all hungry. So we ordered a burger, spaghetti and a couple of chips and soft drinks. The bill came to 69 Euros. The next day, we found that at every service counter, there was only one person serving. It didn't matter how busy that counter or bar got. I have given four stars for the room we were in as it was a villa and was quite spacious. However, other guests complained about their rooms, they said they were small with a bed that was so high that they had to climb on it... The resort is out in the sticks, and you can not go out unless you hire a car, and for a small car, I paid 80 Seuros for a day. The food tasted the same every day, even when the menu was changed. Breakfast had the best menu. All in all, the service was diabolical for Radisson Blu. We have stayed in a couple of these before, and they were excellent.

We went for 10 days. I was terrified after reading the reviews. The truth is somewhere in the middle. The pools and beach are lovely. The kids Club although in need of renovation was a hit with the kids. My daughters made friends and loved going for a few hours daily. The buffet always had great salad fixing. The drinks aren’t great and they definitely have issues producing the amount of ice guests require. That being said I enjoyed the iced coffee and had a more than a few pinocoladas at the adults only chill spot. My biggest complaint was some of the guests. The messy crazy seat saving towel hoarders. I just sat where i wanted by the beach or pool. They usually don’t come back to the saved seats.

No fresh food, going as far as spoiled vegetables, and it's the same every day! You end up having to eat chips and pasta every day cause the rest is just inedible and tasteless! No entertainment and even if there is an attempt, everything is in french, no english speaking at all!! I mean I understand that your client base are french but it's a bare minimum that you also explain things in english also!! My sister went to Turkey, paid £700 x2 (each), which is almost half of what I've paid, and the two cannot even compare! Absolutely 5☆ service and food! Sorry, but no more of this rip off place !! BE AWARE PEOPLE, RIP OFF!!!!!!

Horrible experience, Sold as 5 star hotel. Wouldn't give it 2. Rooms are great, beach amazing. None of the food was even remotely close to good. Nothing. Half cooked, dirty dishes and standing in the 30 degrees sun. Snack bars offers snacks that are either dry, uncooked or plain flavorless. This hotel is run by French groups that take over the 30 sunbeds. After staying in the Stella Palace before. This is not 5 star. Not even 1. Take your money to some place else!!!!!

Just got back from our week long holiday at Akasha hotel. Hotel is very lovely and has a beautiful aesthetic! We were all inclusive and the food was the best we’ve ever had at an all inclusive, cooked to perfection and different every meal which is rare when all inclusive! The staff at the restaurant and around the pools were lovely, couldn’t do enough for you! Now onto the things that completely ruined our holiday.. We arrived at the hotel at 5am after an over night travel, where we were completely knackered, only to be told we had to wait till 3pm to be able to check in and given a room! That’s 10 hours basically homeless in another county! When we asked the reception staff what we are supposed to do for 10 hours we was told “go for a walk or get some eggs” through out the whole day I noticed the reception staff were nothing but rude and arrogant. We had to sit on sunbeds and try to sleep at 5am and the reception staff did not seem to care or have any sympathy at all. We then had to pay £180 to extend our room and all inclusive rights on our last day as they want you out at 11am. I expressed to reception I didn’t think this was very fair considering we had no room when we got here to which I basically just got a shrug! We are so disappointed as this holiday is of premium price, so I will not be able to recommend to any one as our first impressions when I got to the hotel where nothing less of shocking!

1. Upon booking on love holidays there was no option to select interior pool view. On arrival the room given had a pool which was exposed to the whole city. As a muslim woman i wear a headscarf and was unable to use this pool due to the exposure 2. I had to pay extra to change this room and also missed breakfast due to this as we were supposed to have a floating breakfast. 3. The floating breakfast was not worth €90. As much as we needed vegetarian options the whole breakfast was all fruits. One egg between the two of us and a LARGE plate of tuna. No mayo for us to even create a mix to eat it with the bread. Upon going to breakfast the next day we realised there Were so many other options such as pancakes, crepes and desserts which we could have been offered but we were not. We were also not given an option of drink either. 4. We had to change the second room as we were given 2 single beds which caused a lot of discomfort and falling in between the bed and also had to pay another €170 for changing the room again. We were shrugged off and told “you didnt specify you need a double bed” when our original booking was for a double bed?? These staff clearly lack common sense. 5. Our room green sign had been on since 2pm and no one cleaned our room. When calling the reception desk they said our green light was not on, but it was. They sent another Housekeeper at 8pm to clean our room. 6. It was not mentioned that we would be charged for drinks although we had half board. How are people supposed to have “half board” breakfast and dinner without drinks. Your service should include soft drinks without charge like every other hotel. 7. The staff are very rude, they chat back to you even when they are wrong. They have no customer service manners. The hotel tried to lie upon emailing them and when i responded with proof, they have now started ignoring me. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. Especially if you’re a person of colour/different religion. There are better resorts than this. The place has nothing to show for.

Room: sleek and modern design. The room was spacious and had good amenities and features. The only thing that was a let down was the bed duvet provided had a massive rip in one corner and had stains in certain places...not the quality i would expect in a 5 star hotel. I would suggest the maid/room cleaning team pay greater attention to the the bed sheets/duvet in future and also should ensure the lotion and hand wash are sufficiently filled, as the lotion bottle provided was empty after a couple of days. Service: 10/10 service provided by the restaurant staff. Nada in particular was always very polite, attentive and made sure i was well taken care of during breakfast and dinner service. In fact, all the restaurant staff provided excellent service to myself and other guests from my observation. They all greeted me politely and were all fantastic! Food: The desserts in particular were divine and presented beautifully. Food quality was pretty good. It was buffet style but there were plenty of options and variety to choose from. Location: not much to do nearby as there are mainly just shops and restaurants. However, it is located on the main road and there are bus stops, supermarkets and excursion shops nearby. If you can drive then i would say the location is not an issue as lots of rental options nearby. I don't drive so i did find i got quite bored and had to rely on booking excursions to fill my time. There is a beach right outside the hotel, but does get filled up quite quickly. Overall, nice hotel but definitely more a 4* rather than a 5* in my opinion. I would also suggest adding evening entertainment for guests and maybe some more facilities, such as a ping pong table etc.

Beautiful hotel just by the beach. Design is very classy and the staff working in the restaurant extremely nice. However according to EU standards this is not a 5*, similar situation to Turkey, in Greece hotels are of a lower standard than what we are used to in the rest of Europe. First the cleaning stuff: at the first sight rooms look clean but then it becomes visible it is very superficial I got fresh glass which was all smudged with a lip balm one day, had to ask multiple times for the products in the bathroom to be exchanged. Next is the food- good presentation, very mediocre taste Risotto was mushy and overcooked every single day, what was called paella the other was simply some mushy rice with some chicken, nothing like what a real paella is. I know hotel needs to cater to all tastes, but it should have good representation of local food Here we had dakos every day and some pork stews, but basically no seafood: grilled shrimps, mussels, octopus, saganaki, taramasalata- not found even once. We were on half board luckily, so we had all this for lunch in the taverns, otherwise it would be a huge dissapointment. The hotel is quiet with classy lounge music, no weird animations, which I appreciate a lot. However, it is also very popular among aspiring SM star Brits, so be prepared to have photo sessions taken at any place in the hotel any time of the day. The opposite of what I would call quiet luxury, but that is not for the hotel to blame, just cultural vibe of some guests. All in all- recommend for location and aesthetics, but definitely not for food.

What can I say except what a place! From day 1 the staff have been so amazing and you almost feel like you’re at home. We brought our 1 year daughter of which was her second holiday abroad and the staff were just so lovely towards her and making sure she had everything she needed, I feel like not a lot of places do that even family friendly ones. When we arrived we got a shower bundle for the wee one and a wee teddy for her as soon as we walked into reception. It does feel like a retreat when you first go in. But I will definitely be leaving 5 stars because it’s very family friendly too

The hotel is fantastic, all the staff are very friendly. The gym is a decent standard. The tennis courts look very good. The food generally is good. The sunset from the beach is incredible. It’s unfortunate the beach bar isn’t open later. The rooms are good and beds are. You get delivered to your room on a golf cart with your luggage. If you want premium spirits they are included you just have to ask. It’s about half an hour walk to the nearest town, which is a wash with bars along the shore with good places to eat and drink and everything you could need.

Excellent first holiday as a family here. The staff are very polite and helpful. They always tried to entertain our baby too which was lovely. Especially the cleaner and lady who welcomed you into the main restaurant. We had a shared pool which was amazing with us having a ground floor bungalow. I’d definitely recommend requesting ground floor if you’re paying extra for a shared pool. The place was spotless and everywhere in and around the hotel looked beautiful. The only downfall was I’d say the food isn’t 5*. It was nice, but the individual restaurants weren’t top notch food and the portions were small. We ended up going to the buffet some nights even after a meal. Other than that, would definitely recommend!!!

As a couple we visited here in September. All I can say is, it was an absolute privilege to have stayed here and we will be back! The hotel was absolutely immaculate and very well laid out, offering areas of peace and quiet or entertainment throughout the day. The food was faultless with an amazing selection to choose from 24/7. The standard of cocktails and choice of alcohol was excellent and I throughly enjoyed starting my day with an iced coffee by the pool. The staff were extremely attentive, and work very hard. We honestly cannot fault the resort and look forward to visiting Mitsis Laguna and its sister hotels in the future.

Service was wonderful, staff were so friendly, location was ideal, I wouldn’t advise folk to get the transfer bus, as it takes forever, but the whole resort was beautiful. We have kids who are easily overwhelmed and the entertainment and kids area are so chilled and welcoming that they both enjoyed every moment. Would love to go again. The architecture and design of the hotel and rooms were unique and special. Everything is super clean, stylish and new. The bars and cafes in the area really had excellent service and the staff was very professional. The biggest problem with this hotel was the quality and taste of its food. The buffet had everything, the variety of food was very high in all three meals, but the taste of the food was not acceptable at all. I felt that all the food had just salt and cooked and served without any spices. I suggest you change the chef, because the quality of the hotel itself was really different from the quality of the food.

We have stayed in a Mitsis resort before and the service is always excellent. Clean rooms, good food, great service. Laguna was no differently. This trip loses a star for the room. We paid extra for a swim up room, but it was north facing and given we arrived in mid October, we lost the sun around 10 a.m. If you are planning a late season visit, I'd save the money as the loungers and swim up option were out of the sun and a waste of money.

Lovely hotel in general the luggage storage is lockers you pay 2 euros per locker that's not returned after so if you need something in or out your locker you pay again. It's a lovely resort but spread out. Short walk to the beach food basic all inclusive we ate out a few times. Easy enough to get public transport. The spa is expensive

We had a week in Gouves Water Park Holiday Resort from 04 to 11-09-2024. Very happy with the service and friendliness of all staff. Literally all staff was very kind for our 2 year old daughter. She had the time of her life in all different swimming pools with slides. Rooms, open areas, pools and restaurant were getting cleaned all the time. The open buffet tasted nice and quite some variation. We were surprised most of the cocktails were made with alcoholic beverages of very well known brands. We didn't like the wine though. Both checking in and out went quite smooth. For the price we paid, we found it a very good experience!

Timing is everything. We stayed in this hotel during the shoulder season when it was 5 days from closing down for the season. They upgraded us from a 1 bedroom suite to a 2 bedroom suite. It was incredible. I was blown away with the fantastic private pool, the balcony view and the amazing room. They also had air condition that worked really well. Keep in mind, I was there end of October so the AC was not really needed. I found the staff extremely helpful. The breakfast was good. Not anything super amazing, but plentiful and full of variety. Plus I could make my own tea which made me happy. The bottle of wine they gave us was delicious. Their olives were divine. The restaurant was okay for some food and really good for some dishes. The Yacht club food was absolutely fabulous for me. Their beach was lovely and since there was no one there in the morning until 10:30 AM, I felt like I was on a private beach. They have a dive shop and the water is perfectly clear. I really enjoyed my time here and I have to remind people the timing. End of October is wonderful of you can handle the cold.

A resort hotel that has managed to bag one of the best spots. Fantastic views over Mirabello Bay, lovely little sandy beach and rocky promontory with more than enough loungers to go round. Beautifully kept grounds. If you want space and beautifully kept grounds with flowers and peace this is perfect. The sea is so clear we able to see fish with just goggles. Some of our party were upgraded to a modern villa and its bathrooms and infinity pool would compete with anywhere. The others stayed in a bungalow that was perhaps a little outdated and could be redesigned to make better use of the views but you still enjoy all the facilities and that amazing setting. We didn't eat in the hotel apart from breakfast which was good although not the best of the holiday. We took advantage of the tavernas in Elounda and Agios Nickolas.

If you are well traveled you will be shocked by this hotel being 5 star .. I recently stayed and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, they were the only bright spot in an otherwise disappointing stay. The coffee was a major letdown—terribly brewed and practically undrinkable. To make matters worse, the hotel offered no non-alcoholic beverage options, leaving guests with limited choices unless they resorted to tap water. This lack of consideration for all guests was surprising and frustrating. The rooms were another disappointment. They felt outdated, with old furnishings and decor that seemed untouched for decades. The lack of modern amenities made the stay feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Dining at the hotel was a costly and underwhelming experience. The food was overpriced, with a menu that promised much more than it delivered. The dishes were bland and uninspired, far from what one would expect for the price point. Additionally, long waiting times for service were a consistent issue, compounded by a buggy service that often got orders wrong or took far too long to correct them. In summary, while the staff were great and did their best to provide good service, they were overshadowed by the hotel's numerous shortcomings. From poor coffee and beverage options to old rooms and overpriced, subpar food, the experience was not worth the cost. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

The things we were offered for an all-inclusive stay doesn‘t justify the money we had to pay at all. So this hotel definitely doesn‘t deserve 5 stars. First of all, it‘s ridiculous that not all drinks are included in the all-inclusive package, like not even an iced cappuccino or orange juice. The food at the main restaurant is very blant and repetitive despite the theme nights. The service is also always very unmotivated. We had to wait 30 mins for two ice teas during dinner. Our room (which doesn’t represent a 5-star hotel-room anyway in our opinion) faces the main pool, giving us almost no privacy + there are so many ants in our bathroom. We do not recommend any spa treatments, considering we paid 300€ (!) for two people and now both have severe neck pain since our treatments. The treatments were also shorter than promised. The facility, however, is beautiful and well maintained. The private beach section also has very clear and clean water - however, it sucks having to walk up to the Dedalos Bar every time to get drinks, considering it is supposed to be a 5 Star service. All in all, we‘ve been to way better hotels for less money.

This is a beautiful place with lots of greenery, direct access to the beach, nice food options. Some beautiful seaviews. Rooms are kept very clean. The staff at the restaurants, SPA, reception desk and cleaning service is well trained, polite and kind. Food options are varied and food quality is good. All Inclusive was good value for money and included some drinks. 2 bottles of still water are made available in the rooms daily and free drinks are also available at the reception throughout the day. Quite a number of stairs but with some accessible rooms and restaurants. Would definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our holidays at the Sunshine Crete Beach Hotel. We have stayed in a semi-separate apartment out of the main building. It was clean and quiet. We asked for a sea-view room but we could barely see the sea as it was mostly hidden by other buildings which was not so big issue at the end as we did not spend much time in the room anyway. The catering was also great in the main restaurant and at the beach bar. The overall atmosphere was perfect, mostly thanks to the animation team. They took care of the children as well as of adults during the day and evening. There was always something to do and it was always fun. Amongst others stretching and aqua aerobics in the morning, water polo and some competition in the afternoon, and a mini-disco for kids with another competition or karaoke and a disco in the evening. Go, animators, go!

There are many aspects to my review. In general, we were really happy with our vacation. I do not know what many of the complaints I have read come from. Yes, the rooms, especially the bathrooms could use a renovation - shower curtain, clogged bathtub drain, loose toilet seat. But overall, the rooms were really clean, room service was offered everyd day. The same with the food - the breakfasts kept reprating the offer, but to be honest - myself and the kids eat almost the same thing at home anyway so why judge? Lunches and dinners were very variable and really tasty so no complains here whatsoever. I would appreciate more if other guests were a bit more considerate regarding the noise they make in the night and early mornign but this is hardly the hotels fault. And last but not least, the animation crew! These people are just amazing. Huge thanks go to the czech team, Sebastian and all the other people as well! The kids had a blast in the kids club and us, adults, enjoyed the activities as well. Thank you all!

Good stay. Pools were very cold but plenty of sunbeds and pools around. The indoor pool was very welcome as it was warm. The gym is very good! The rooms are very nice, plenty of room. The food, although was different every theme night, was not the best. The reason I say this was there were times people were waiting too time for the food stations such as chips or chicken. It's as if they need more staff. Also the drinks are very watered down. It was OK when the bottles were out. Overall good stay.

Fantastic half term break. Choice of eateries and some fun entertainment, despite the water being unheated the pools are great fun and there’s lots of pools to choose from. The water park is great with fantastic kids section, and lots of flumes to go on, the lazy river is also a nice addition. Our room was comfy and cleaned everyday. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. Drinks were good on all inclusive and the beach setting is great. Snorkels necessary as lots of shoals of fish just off the beach.

Fantastic Stay at Lyttos Beach Hotel, Crete 🇬🇷🏖️ We spent 7 nights at Lyttos Beach Hotel on an all-inclusive family break during the UK autumn half-term. It was an excellent experience from start to finish! ✈️ Travel & Location Our trip was booked with Jet2 Holidays, flying from Leeds Bradford Airport. The flight should have been 3.5 hours, but we had a 4-hour delay. Thankfully, once we landed, we got through passport control quickly, and our transfer took just 30 minutes. 🏨 Hotel Overview Lyttos Beach is a 5-star beachfront hotel with 672 rooms, offering double rooms, suites, and family rooms, some with private or swim-up pools. There are 5 restaurants, 4 bars, and plenty of facilities, including tennis courts, a gym, and a water park. 🏠 Our Rooms We stayed in a Double Room with a Sea View – spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, TV, safe, and plenty of sockets. The balcony had a great view of the Olympic pool and sea. Our son’s family stayed in a Family Room, which had the same facilities but was larger and included a bath. Their ground-floor room also had a patio leading to the family pool. 🌊 Pools & Activities If you love water activities, you won’t be disappointed! There are 7 swimming pools, including an Olympic-sized pool, plus a water park with: ✅ 2 extra pools ✅ Lazy river & splash zone ✅ 5 larger slides for older kids & adults Other activities include: 🎾 Tennis, football, basketball & bike hire 🎮 Amusement arcade 🏌️‍♂️ Mini golf & playpark for younger kids 💆‍♀️ Onsite Spa (extra charge) The beach is directly accessible from the hotel. While it’s not the most scenic, it’s great for a relaxing swim in the Mediterranean. Plus, there’s a beach bar for drinks! 🍹 🎤 Entertainment Evening entertainment is based at the amphitheatre, offering a kids’ disco, local acts, and animation team productions. We watched their Moulin Rouge show, which was very enjoyable. There were also live music acts and quizzes in the bar each night. 🍽️ Food & Drinks A standout feature of the hotel was the food! With 5 restaurants, there was plenty of choice: ✅ 3 main buffet restaurants ✅ A Chinese restaurant (booking required) ✅ A fast-food bar in the water park Food was available from 07:30 - 21:30, covering all tastes. The bars were busy but well-run, offering self-service drinks and a full bar service. The beer 🍺 and gin & tonics 🍸 were great, but we weren’t fans of the red wine in the All-Inclusive package – you can buy from a paid wine list if you prefer. 🛍️ Shops & Facilities The hotel has a well-stocked supermarket, plus a souvenir shop, jewellery store, and fancy goods shop. One of the best features was the locker room and shower area for late departures – a fantastic idea that saved us from paying extra to extend our room. ❌ Things We Didn’t Like We really had to be picky to find any negatives: ❌ The included red wine wasn’t to our taste 🍷 ❌ Guests hoarding inflatable tubes for the lazy river & slides 🚨 ❌ Limited trips outside the hotel in late October, but there was plenty to do onsite 🏨 👍 Would We Stay Again? Absolutely! This was a fantastic all-inclusive family hotel with great food, excellent facilities, and plenty to do. The WiFi was the best we’ve ever had in a hotel – fast, free, and easy to use! Everything you would expect from a 5star hotel. The staff were very attentive and polite, the rooms were clean and modern with stunning views all around. This complex is very big however getting around to the different restaurants and bars was easy on the buggy’s. The spa facilities were 10/10 with a wide choice of treatments.There is an indoor swimming pool and gym right near the beach. The only downside for us was that it was just over an hour away from the airport costing around 100euro.

The hotel is very good and the service excellent. It's located in a lovely bay and the sea swimming is excellent. The food is good and there is a good choice alongside varied menus. We moved rooms - the sea view room we were supposed to have was obscured by palm trees - and the staff were excellent in finding an alternative - which was lovely. The downside is that despite being five star the dreaded 'hog a sunbed' happens - with people grabbing sunbeds as early as 6am - including from some in the swim up rooms who had sunbeds by their rooms. Very disappointing. A hotel of this quality you'd expect allocated sunbeds. Otherwise, worth staying.

On arrival we discovered we had been put in a room for 2 not 3. The hotel were not able to offer any solutions or compensation. In the end they brought in a pullout bed. We sre paying adult rates for our teenager and as such expect to receive the equivalent in service. The room was only catered for 2.. 2 towels etc.. The water from the shower pulls over into the main bathroom and toilet area. Not what we expected from the luxury room we had booked and paid for. We made the mistake of booking half board. The food in the restaurant is not good at all. We opted to eat out every night in Elounda. So many choice, much better value and quality. The best part of the hotel is the location. The sea view is stunning and with guaranteed heat, very relaxing.

Just returned from a 10 day stay at the hotel, overall our experience was extremely positive, with great weather, great beach and most importantly, exceptional service from all the staff. The age of the rooms has been mentioned by others, and we too initially had some minor things that needed remedied by reception and concierge, all of which were handled perfectly. I would say that all the pros of staying here far outweigh any cons that may come with slightly dated rooms. Special mention to Nicos, who was on hand to help with the issues we faced, and the maid service was really top notch. The staff in the main restaurant were always happy to see us, and we found breakfast to be very good, with varied options, always fresh with a lively setting. The evening buffet we used 5 times and enjoyed it, with good options, well presented. The guys and girls at the beach bar were all good fun, always on hand to offer suggestions for house cocktails. We did eat in some of the speciality restaurants, but we felt that going into Elounda or Aghios Nicolas was a better way of experiencing a lovely part of Crete. I would recommend anyone to stay here, see beyond the decor and flaws in dated furnishings and see a really terrific hotel with some of the most attentive staff I’ve experienced. Efchariso!

Spent a week here at the end of September. Absolutely fantastic. The staff cannot do enough to ensure you are well looked after. All inclusive with food and drink on tap, the food is well prepared, tasty but above all, set out with thought and care that not only looks delicious, is delicious. The whole resort is spotless and the room beds are comfortable. Private beach with free sun loungers. Pool loungers are available all day without the rigmarole of people dumping towels early on. There is no downsides, however, this would get an 11 out of 10 if they could only make the bottom pool and one of the bars, adult only. Thank you guys for a wonderful stay.

I attended the week of October 14th (off season). Beautiful hotel. My room was clean on arrival and hotel staff was helpful upon check in. Room was spacious too with a lovely bathroom, sofa area and balcony. A few negatives though. The staff at meal times are not very nice, they hover over your tables to collect plates. There are flies all the time in the dining hall. The staff in the dining halls were not nice nor helpful. They looked very angry if we came towards within 30 minutes of the end of meal times. The food options could be better, only meal that was consistent was breakfast. This is an all inclusive resort, we have paid for meals and drinks and should be allowed to sit down and eat, even if the meal time is finishing in 20 minutes. Please note Bar for all inclusive starts at 11am and ends at 11pm, you have to pay after. Another thing. BE PREPARED TO WALK. I was a bit lucky as my hotel room (number 300s) was not too far from the reception, however other hotel rooms take about 10 minutes to get to or you have use the hotel ‘train’ (comes every 8 mins). It can be helpful but the train stops quite early and doesn’t start until 10am. They have a few nice activities such as the water park, tennis and volleyball. Private beach too. The pool area in the hotel gets crowded very quickly, I didn’t spend much time there but it is something I noticed. A lot of staff said this was the off season. So not as much was on offer and you could kind of tell. This resort is very far out so I would consider renting a car if you want to explore outside of the resort. And rent the car from outside of town and not at the hotel because they hike up the prices. All in all this hotel was nice, but not 5 star all inclusive. The service by hotel staff could be better, bar tenders and servers were very dismissive. Could have table service on the beach and more drink options at the other bars around the hotel grounds.

Lovely hotel, nice rooms and fantastic staff. Only thing is that the hotel is a bit isolated if you are one who likes to wander around shops in the evening. There is a bus stop up the road. Great relaxing spot and some watersports to keep entertained.

Absolutely loved our holiday here at fodele beach. The rooms, pool, food and staff were amazing. It is a bit of a way out and all trips into the centre take roughly 30-45 mins. The only down fall would be it isn't adults only which it should be. There were far too many families and kids running around. It definitely wasn't children friendly either and after speaking to other couples they felt the same also.

What a marvelous stay we've had. We stayed in the premium 2 bedroom suite which looked brand new and was very spacious and very luxurious. The food was actually amazing (although we were a bit hesitant at booking, because all-in concepts do not always offer the quality desired). Well flavoured and ample choice. The staff is welcoming and friendly while not being too amical, the pools and waterpark are clean and well maintained. The train that brings you up the hill drives every 7 min and the one time it was broken down, we were immediately brought up there by a friendly staff member in a golf cart. The beach is clean and the beach bar is well equipped. All in all we would strongly recommend staying here, we will definitely go again ourselves. Efcharisto poli, staff of Fodele Beach Resort!

It’s absolutely amazing place. Located right next to the beach. Very nice sun beds. We have taken all inclusive. It was totally worth it. They have theme dinner nights. Even though we stayed a week, we were not board of eating similar food. I loved their desserts. Staffs were very friendly. It was comfortable. I loved the sauna and the pool. They gave a dinner coupon to their own another restaurant. It was worth the try. 5 course dinner was delicious. They have a nice bar. Snacks are always available. Overall we really enjoyed our visit.

Got one night in a marvellous suite and a good rock solid room on second floor next day - great customer focus! And yes, food is excellent with great choices and quality. And yes too, the gym is a joke - go swimming 🤣. Nevertheless 5 well deserved Stars!!

From the moment we booked the service was amazing, the staff were able to arrange our taxi transfer from the airport making our arrival easy. The staff talked us through all the essentials when we arrived and helped us to our room via golf cart. We stayed in a sea view room which also overlooked the lower pool and the room was split over two floors. It was a very modern space with plenty of room and a balcony. We had no issues with noise either. The pool bar snacks were great, with fruit pots and fresh rolls each day, there were also crepes and waffles. All inclusive food was good and had a nice mixture which changed each evening. Easy communication with staff as they had a WhatsApp feature available. There was a photographer based at the resort who I would not recommend as he was very pushy and the photos were not worth the price.

My stay at the Seaside Resort in Crete was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming. Special shoutout to the morning chef, Μάνος, and the servers, Ελεύθερα and Eleni. Their hard work and hospitality truly made our experience special—they were always helpful and attentive. The resort itself is beautiful, and the gym was just enough to get a decent workout in. The open bar was a nice touch, and the daily buffet offered hearty, delicious food. I especially appreciated the espresso machine, which never failed to deliver my much-needed caffeine fix each morning. Location-wise, it couldn’t have been more convenient like 20 minutes away from the airport. The beach was just a short walk away (3 min walk), and there’s a supermarket, a bar, and two restaurants right next to the resort. I highly recommend renting a small hatchback car during your stay—there’s no need for anything larger unless you’re traveling with a big family. If it’s just a honeymoon or a small trip, the hatchback is perfect, as taxi prices can be steep. There’s no real need to exchange USD for Euros either, as 98% of places accept Mastercard or Visa. The resort also provided nightly entertainment at the main bar, which was fun and lively. The poolside bar, with Dimitri as the bartender, was another highlight. He gave us great tips on places to visit in the city, like ruins and museums. Lastly, the resort was affordable for the luxury it offered. We spent around $5,000 for a top-tier room with a private pool, though I’d recommend opting for a cheaper room since the private pool isn’t a must. Overall, this was an amazing stay, and I highly recommend this resort. We will definitely try to come back!

We had an amazing time here for 2 weeks. Our room was spotless and big and had clean towels every day. Staff are very friendly with a smile on their face, nothing was too much trouble. The main restaurant had lovely food with a lot of choices, 3 a la cartes to go to as well. We tried all 3, 2 of them twice, and found the Umi restaurant was the best. There are 2 pools, the top pool in our opinion was the better of the 2 as there was more room between the beds. The other pool was smaller. We did see one evening entertainment, The Drifters tribute, they were good. Location is out of the way but you don't need to go anywhere as you have it all in the hotel. There is a yoga studio and gym which we didn't use. We would definitely recommend this hotel if you want a relaxing, chilled holiday.

From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality truly set this hotel apart. Again we could not fault the food for breakfast, lunch and dinner there is plenty to choose from and if you would like a change they also have 4 onsite restaurants that are also included in your all inclusive package. Our room was just as we remembered – spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed. It offered the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The pool areas were a highlight once again. They were well-maintained and provided a relaxing oasis. We loved lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun, and enjoying refreshing drinks from the bar. Overall, our second visit was a fantastic experience. We can't wait to come back for a third time! Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable getaway. We stayed at Stella Palace in the fall and had a suite with pool sharing. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the direct pool access is absolutely fantastic. We arrived late at night and missed having wine or beer in the fridge, although it was stocked daily with water. The hotel offers several restaurants, and reservations can easily be made through an app. Every morning, we enjoyed breakfast at the Veranda (available exclusively for suite guests), which was delicious and very relaxing. The beach, however, isn’t the most appealing, so we highly recommend renting a car to explore the surrounding area. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and would definitely come back!

Really enjoyed our visit to Stella village. The reception staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. The rooms were small but very clean and possibly the comfiest bed I've slept on abroad. We travel as a family of three so prefer when the room has a separate area for child to sleep but that's just a preference. The facilities were great, particularly the waterpark. There was plenty of choice of food and all was nice but nothing was overly exciting to eat. Nice quiet location and easy to get to nearby towns for livelier night life.

Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. Our children enjoyed all aspects of this hotel, including the water park, kids club entertainment and facilities. The Poseidon restaurant had a huge selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were lucky enough to dine at the Al La carte restaurants during our stay and the food was amazing. This hotel was the most memorable experience during our 5 week holiday and we will definitely be back! A truly amazing resort with all-inclusive food, drinks, and entertainment. When it comes to all-inclusive, they do it exceptionally well. The food offers a lot of variety, with a themed buffet every day. If you stay for more than six nights, you have the option to dine at six different à la carte restaurants, all with fantastic food. Our favorite was the seafood restaurant. Drinks are served almost everywhere, with a great selection of cocktails. For entertainment, every night features different activities for kids and their parents to enjoy. The water is also such a fun and special addition to our experience One small suggestion for improvement is the beach area. It’s a bit small, and there should be a nearby toilet that is maintained better. We found a lot of seaweed there, which made walking uncomfortable.

Hi Reviewers & Visitors! My first visit to Crete was back in 2005 and it was a holiday of my lifetime! I fell in love with the island, its history and cuisine, and the people who are friendly, courteous and love children. So I just knew that my first trip with a baby would be to Crete. Rinela by Mitsis was recommended by a friend and this was a great choice! It was again a holiday of my lifetime but in a different way because it was with a 10-month old baby. Most of the guests were families with young children. We were welcomed with champagne by a friendly receptionist at 3 am (!) and our daughter got a wooden shape puzzle. We had a swim-up suite, which was absolutely gorgeous! We spent most of the time at the beach, which offered great sun beds and lots of shade and the beach bar staff made the best cocktails in the world! In the second half of the day we would come back to our suite so that we could practise some swimming & diving with our daughter in the shared pool. There's also a small terrace leading to the pool where we spent the nights watching some movies and enjoying the view of the stars reflecting in the pool. ;-) The staff were very friendly and nice, I can't praise them enough: the waiting staff, the cleaning ladies, who would drop in to ask if everything was ok, the beach staff. I was a little cautious about travelling with a baby abroad, but thanks to all staff at Rinela Mitsis, our first trip was memorable and would always stay in our hearts!

We’ve stayed at several hotels from this chain, and each time we’ve been thoroughly impressed. What sets these hotels apart is the exceptional quality of the food and drinks. There are virtually no queues at the bars, as waiters bring drinks directly to your table, sun loungers by the pool, or anywhere you wish. The hotel’s aesthetics are truly remarkable. Every bar, reception area, pathway between buildings – every corner of this place is a feast for the eyes. It is beautifully designed, and even the drink selection by the pool is outstanding. We spent two weeks here with our children, and we’re absolutely thrilled. The only downside we noticed is the main pool – while it’s large, it’s also very deep (2.5 m). At 168 cm tall, I lost footing as soon as I entered the water. If you’re planning to stay at this hotel, we highly recommend booking a room with a pool, preferably one with a sea view and a shared infinity pool. This is important because many rooms with shared pools are shaded for most of the day.

Best hotel for your summer vacation. Very nice rooms, stylish design of the whole hotel. Beautiful beach and a ton of options for food. This was a very enjoyable holiday thanks to the brilliant team in the hotel. The staff and customer service helped us with our requests. Themed restaurants were delicious, and eating your breakfast by the sea is a vacation within a vacation. Great shows and entertainment. The sunset is amazing. Stunning. Simply stunning. The only disappointment were the photo team ladies, who on our last evening constantly jumped in the pictures and almost tried to push us out so they could take pictures for their clients. This was rude and unexpected. Especially since all other staff were extremely nice and careful. Rooms were nice and spacious, clean and well maintained. Overall, very very nice. Can only recommend.

Best hotel I've ever been to. Amazing staff, extremely friendly, everyone focusing to give you the best possible experience. Nice restaurant in the resort, perfect beach with soft sand, cleaned every morning, spectacular breakfast, everything extremely clean, comfy rooms, and the most relaxing architecture. All details of this place have been thoroughly made to match the natural setting. Perfect view from the rooms, good massage at the spa, and outdoors and indoors gym open 24 hours, just enough for basic exercise. Can easily spend here a week without getting bored or leaving the premises. Very quiet also. Took some pics of the gym for those who need to see details.

This is our third visit to a Domes resort. All visits have been in luxurious facilities, in private areas. Which is what we wanted in our visits. On arrival we were greeted very well, with a nice drink and tour, which was welcoming and informative. Our stay here was for our “Mini-moon” a short stay away after we got married, which we were accommodated for, had some lovely welcoming gifts and some chocolates, flowers and love heart roses on the bed. The room itself was beautiful and was a fantastic room, very pleasing on the eyes and a great view. However, the room we stayed in didn’t get a great deal of sunlight all day due to the positioning, which was a slight downside, had you stayed in the same room on the opposite end of the pool, it would have had sunlight in the afternoon through until sunset. The restaurant you have to reserve a table for the evening, which we wasn’t aware of on the first night, but as soon as we were made aware it was no problem. The food was excellent and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful through the service and accommodating for vegans and vegetarians. The sun loungers by the pools were also affected by the positioning of the hotel as the hotel structure blocked some of the sunlight, not too bad if you like the shade. All in all was a lovely visit for us, it was a nice break from reality, great architecture and some lovely views. Would recommend to stay at this hotel, but would recommend short duration stays and in the hotter months to accommodate the sunlight etc.

Can’t describe how wonderful our stay at Domes was. The welcome from the staff and the service from all the staff everyday was excellent. They were always happy to help. The rooms were amazing, the plunge pool was lovely after a hot day in the sun. The pools were immaculate and a perfect place to relax. Breakfast buffet had everything you could want but every morning I had the 40% fat yogurt with a selection of toppings. The beach was so clean and there was always a lounger available. The staff really did make the experience extra special. Perfect honeymoon.

Late review but my husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in October. It was beyond amazing. Great staff and great facilities. Our days consisted of the breakfast brunch (sometimes with a mimosa) followed by a gym workout (pretty good facilities which people rarely use) followed by a day at the beach ordering white wine and Greek salad. In the evening we would step out to Chania for dinner, you can either take a quick 20 min bus or order a taxis. Regarding the food, the breakfast was exceptional with a different buffet menu every single day. You can also order omelets and any coffee or juice. The lunch menu was fairly small but perfect enough for us. Also, the streets are not unsafe at all, we felt perfectly safe walking to the grocery store or nearby restaurants. There are a lot of cats (not at the resort but nearby) , we ended up being guilted by their cuteness into buying cat food everyday but it made our experience that much better. We definitely will be back! Also highly recommend swimming in the ocean or doing a boat trip if the weather is in your favor!

When we had issues with our hot water, the staff was quick to address the issue. We want to thank Abel Sorreno for making our stay extra special. We have just returned from an amazing family holiday with our 2.5 year old. This hotel has absolutely everything you need. We stayed for 1 week, only a short drive from the airport which is perfect with a little one. The hotel is beautiful, with such a Greek feel around the place, beautiful plants everywhere. The pools are so clean & the water park is amazing for all ages. Me and my husband love the slides. The food was one of the best we have had at an all inclusive resort. Such amazing choices and love they you can visit all of the restaurants too! The staff are so friendly, a special mention to Stella how is a waitress in the main restaurant for lunch and dinner, her service was amazing & she went above and beyond for us - excellent with the little touches and wine suggestions. The drinks were also amazing, so much choice everywhere and loved how many bars there were around to visit. The entertainment in the evening was perfect for our toddler, lots of fun and dancing. I'll start by saying the food is great. A lot of options for every taste. The resort is very large and offers a lot of options to spend the holidays. The most annoying thing during our holidays was the silent fight for sunbeds. The hotel has a no-reservation policy, a lot of signs everywhere, but the policy is not enforced. Never. So when you have a 600+ rooms resort and a limited number of sunbeds, you must enforce the no reservation policy. The beach is fine, but there are huge underwater rocks near the shore when you get into the sea. You have to choose your path carefully in order to avoid them. Regarding the available drinks, they didn't even refresh the sparkling water in the room minibar. So, after paying hundreds of euros per room per night for all inclusive you have to go to the supermarket and buy sparkling water. What a disgrace! Also, the quality of the wines included in the all inclusive program was less than average.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and both agreed this is our favorite hotel we've ever stayed in! From the beauty of the hotel, the fantastic amenities provided, the comfort of the accommodations, and the incredible customer service/attention to detail...everything was PERFECT! The hotel is secluded enough (and sooo quiet and peaceful) but only a short distance to the center of Chania/harbor area. One of our favorite things about the hotel was the outdoor gym and the INCREDIBLE breakfast buffet. We would recommend Domes Zeen to anyone and hope to visit again in the future!

This is a great hotel within a nice walking distance (about 40 mins) to Chania Old Town. The service is impeccable here! We were greeted very nicely by Maria and she’s been making sure we’re alright throughout our stay. Kristina (Haute Living Supervisor) recommended great day trips and restaurants. My highlight was my spa treatments (I went for a facial and the Minoan massage with body scrub). Marina (the spa manager) was outstanding. She is extremely knowledgeable about the treatments, products and general health matters. She also knew a huge amount about the island. She is extremely skilled at her job, very lovely and caring and makes sure you have the perfect relaxing treatment. She’s fantastic! Overall we really love this hotel, but if we could change one thing, it would be to somehow add a sandy beach (this one is pebbly) to it and to serve more traditional Greek food. But I know the beach request might be hard… :)

Family of vegetarians and mobility challenges had an excellent stay: They immediately and consistently treat you with friendly courtesy that persists throughout the stay. The accommodations are accessed via golf carts which are frequent enough and easily available. My wife is mobility challenged and this place has ramps essentially everywhere. The beach is modest but adequate with cabanas, seating, and dedicated bar. The walk to the beach is negligible. The breakfast buffet was quite good quality and variety but again it is the consistently courteous service that bears repeating. The restaurant manager was proactively seeking out ways to make us comfortable. The food is quite good with a mix of local and modified options. Even though i eat everything, my family is vegetarian and they were quite happy with the options. Their menu is quite explicit about ingredients! My children absolutely loved the private pool which is why i felt comfortable giving the rooms 5 stars (otherwise i would have said 4 stars as the room was on the small side compared with other hotels) and it was well air conditioned and well maintained each time we returned. We had an excellent experience here.

We spent 5 days at this resort and loved every minute. Our two bedroom family villa was lovely, modern, with fabulous views of the sea. The half board package was outstanding as the breakfasts were amazing, both the buffet and a la cart. We could then decide whether our second meal was lunch or dinner which was great as we enjoyed going into town for dinner. The culinary experience at the resort was truly superb. Every meal was delightful. It was an easy 25 minute walk to town with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants and a short taxi ride back at the end of the evening. Our sons 19, 20, 26 all had a great time, enjoyed all the amenities including the outdoor gym and the night life in town. The spa treatment (massage) was outstanding… Equally important to the luxury of this property was the fact that the entire staff went out of their way to make this an incredible stay for our family. We stayed in several places in Greece and bar none the staff at Dome Zeen was second to none. Thank you for the beautiful memories!

The hotel complex is overall very well-designed, and the service is consistently good. While the prices are in the high-end range, they are still acceptable given the quality and ambiance offered. A room costing approximately €700 per night aligns with the average for hotels in this category. However, a significant drawback is the price for massages. A one-hour massage costs around €240. Aside from the fact that the quality of the massage was rather average, I personally find this price excessively high. What I found particularly frustrating was the lack of transparency regarding the prices for wellness services. Assuming I was familiar with the typical massage prices in 5-star hotels, I was surprised to learn that it could be significantly more expensive. More transparency and a fairer price-performance ratio would be highly desirable here.

What a stunning hotel! Calm. Peaceful. I stayed in one of the apartment suites overlooking the ocean. Staff always go out of the way. I’m a vegan and they specifically looked for and made special dishes for me every day! The beach is sandy but not necessarily amazing. But nice enough. Great service. It won’t disappoint!

Our check in experience was very good - the attention was overall good, although it took a bit of a long time because of a wheelchair we had with us. Dinner reservations were very hard to get on the same day (even during a relatively low season). Buffet was ok. However, 4 stars because we had a very early flight and the personnel that could have helped us with our luggage (we had one of us on a wheelchair) never came and we had to figure out the wheelchair and 4 pieces of luggage. Otherwise very good and they packed lunch boxes for us.

Review Greco Not bad but disappointing (Now this may have been due to our expectations (and past experiences in) 5* resorts). The resort itself is quiet nice. The pool, the grass areas at the beach as well as the general style with which everything has been built. But don’t venture outside - left and right of the hotel is rather ugly. And some of the amenities are run down. The staff really makes an effort - in particular the female colleagues, who were very forthcoming and friendly. The gentlemen were not giving off the same warm vibes. The beds left a lot of room for improvement. It took three attempts to get a / the bed to a comfortable state. The pillows - and we tried them all - were too hard. Simply not good quality. It falls into the category of „trying“ - not succeeding. The restaurants on site were good. But way overpriced. Also, it felt like they were artificially constraining capacities. Maybe to herd the people into the buffet, which was mediocre in the evening (unless you like to eat chocolate cake and other deserts as a main course). The breakfast was solid - particularly the lady making the eggs stood out as a gem. The indoor gym was apparently an afterthought. Small, poorly equipped, run down, and in a dark room next to the indoor pool. The outdoor gym was slightly better. But also not well-maintained and if you went there in the morning, you became the mosquito‘s breakfast. On a related note - the fact that they charge extra for a tennis court is inappropriate when the night costs close to €400. So, if this had been a 4* hotel and €150 cheaper per night, it would have been great!

A real mix of good and not so good. Location and views are stunning. Service was very mixed, some staff were lovely, friendly and engaging, while others looked and acted like they just couldn't care and didn't want to be there. Certainly not a 5* experience, overpriced when compared to other 5* hotels. Housekeeping in our room was awful, we had to wear slippers/flip-flops as the floor was so dirty. They didn't clean it well, can't believe they spent more than 2 minutes each time, certainly less than they spent on their phones! That was a theme, so many staff were on their phones alot, even at the expense of serving guests. That said, some staff went over and above, big shout out to Theodore in the restaurant, nothing was too much trouble, thank you. Management is nowhere to be seen, and overall the experience wasn't as we expected, we will not be back. We felt the publicity shots on website promised something different in reality. That all said, the views, the location and the overall quietness meant we had a very relaxing week, despite some of the poor standards of the hotel. Reading many reviews, there is a theme, so don't feel my comments are unique

Our last night here on our honeymoon (non cool living). I know everyone has a different experience but we have truly had the most amazing time. When we arrived at midnight after 13 hours travelling the day after our wedding and exhausted, we had a quick check in to our room where they had sandwiches and drinks for us in case we were hungry- we went down the next morning to have a proper introduction to the hotel. Prior to our arrival, they’d already upgraded us free of charge to a sea view room. We have had the best time from the moment we arrived up until now, staff have been nothing but amazing- every time a drink is empty they’re asking if you want another, reception have been amazing and make it so easy to book a taxi if you want to go anywhere. We asked how much it would be to upgrade for our last 3 nights to a private pool which was taken to the manager, we then had the guests relations manager come out and speak to us who told us they would upgrade us to a private pool room free of charge as there was one spare which has been absolutely beautiful and we never expected. We never once struggled to get a bed at the main pool even though we weren’t going to get a bed until 10/10:30 every day. The breakfast is the same every day but plenty of options, the food has all been lovely in the main buffet - a bit samey every day but if you book the restaurants it breaks it up (do this when you arrive as they get full quickly). We truly don’t have a single complaint. It’s a lovely place to come if you want to relax, forget what the day is and not even know what the time is. Like I said, I know everyone’s experience is different and not every may be happy but even not having cool living we definitely feel we had a 5* experience and it was worth every penny🩷

I`m writing the review sitting on my balcony enjoying wonderful view of Spinalonga island. I can’t recommend Domes Aulūs Elounda Resort highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I am blown away by the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Every member of the team is ensuring that my stay is comfortable. Really appreciate it! One of the standout features of this resort (worth mentioning) is the dining experience. The variety and quality of food offered is top-notch. As a Hilton Diamond i was upgraded to Sea view room with shared pool. Room is cozy and well maintained. So making a long story short Domes Aulūs Elounda Resort is the perfect destination for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

Overall a beautiful hotel with stunning views. Would I book it again? I'm not sure. Here is why: - Hotel itself: The property itself is beautiful. However, I wasn't aware that the way to the rooms is that steep. I would consider my boyfriend and me as fit people and we had trouble walking up or down because it's really steep. There are no stairs to the higher rooms and if you wear anything other than sneakers, it's really difficult. However, there are shuttles and you can catch a ride easily. The pool area is a little small but nicely done and the same goes for the beach. - Rooms: We got upgraded to a beautiful room with a stunning view and we really enjoyed the room. The interior was very elegant yet cozy and the bed was heaven. - Staff member: The staff was great. The people working there were very helpful and kind. They made sure everything went smoothly. - Food: The food was a little disappointing to the honest. The snacks at the beach were good but the food at the buffet (morning and evening) was very underwhelming. The fruit didn't taste like anything, there were hardly any vegetarian options (only the sides, no halloumi or falafel or anything like that) and in general the quality of the food wasn't great. I can imagine it's hard to provide a good quality for so many people but for the price I expected more. Overall it was a nice hotel with great views, but I was missing the wow factor when it came to food & beverages.

We are extremely satisfied with our stay at this hotel. Stella, the manager, took excellent care of us, especially since this is our second visit and we are celebrating our wedding anniversary. We are thoroughly convinced by the quality of this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and offer an amazing view. The staff are friendly, and the food included in the half-board option is delicious. The beach restaurant is fantastic for lunch, with great food and a superb atmosphere. Nikos form the beach is kind, funny, helpful and always in a good mood. Both the pool and the beach are beautiful. The golf carts that transport guests around the property arrive quickly and are very convenient. Additionally, this hotel is very child-friendly, making it a perfect destination for families. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and look forward to our next visit.

I had an absolutely perfect stay at Domes of Elounda. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of. We had a lovely stay of 10 nights at this hotel. All of the staff were extremely courteous and helpful and made sure our stay was the best it could be. We would not hesitate to come back here. I would suggest the following for feedback - which whilst did not take away from our overall experience at the hotel, could be improved for future guests. 1. Porridge at breakfast would often be cold - I do not think the electric hob where the cast iron pot was placed was hot enough to maintain a desired temperature. Especially as the pot was topped up with milk throughout the course of breakfast - this often led to cold and overly milky porridge. A real shame for us porridge lovers! 2. The BBQ held at the Core / Street Food location on Thursday was not included in the half-board option despite other nights being inclusive. This was not properly communicated ahead of time which did result in an unexpected bill. 3. We have a 10-month old who crawls everywhere and presented us with a first hand experience of the level of dust that can accumulate on the marble floors. Whilst high traffic areas such as the hotel reception are hard to keep pristine, we did note that certain parts of our family room caused some black feet and knees! I'm not sure if cleaning staff regularly mop the floors or just do a light dusting - but more could be done here to improve the cleanliness of the floors. 4. The golf buggies are a great touch and ensure guests can be at their destination in no time. However the waiting times from the family pool area back to the main resort can be long. We often decided to walk it back instead of waiting and whilst I was happy enough to get some much needed exercise, this would be a concern for anyone less able to do so.

We stayed here for a wedding and the entire experience was incredible! Rooms - The accommodations were charming, but they did show some signs of age. A few door handles were a bit loose, and there was a minor leak in the shower. A little extra maintenance would elevate the experience even further. Service - The service was outstanding! I would rate it six stars if I could. The staff were consistently attentive and friendly, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. Location - The location is absolutely breathtaking. The views of Spinalonga are stunning, and the beach is delightful, with olive trees offering natural shade for relaxation. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and I will definitely be coming back!

This hotel deserves every star if not more! From the moment our family set foot in this place, we were treated with the utmost welcome and warmth one could imagine. The ambience, rooms, food, and amenities are superior. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and looked after. They also have a wonderful group fitness instructor who ran aqua fitness, strength and Pilates training. The evening entertainment program is gentle and enjoyable - none of the obnoxious loud music other hotels offer. Overall, our experience was heavenly and I would highly recommend this place!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Caramel Hotel, and we were absolutely amazed by the beautiful villa we received. The rooms were very clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly sets Caramel apart, though, is the warm, family-friendly atmosphere. We’ve always enjoyed the food here, but this year it was on a whole new level—kudos to the Chef and the entire culinary team! Every meal was a delight, showcasing an excellent variety of dishes that catered to every palate. The service, as always, was outstanding. A special shoutout to Konstantina, Alexander, Oggy, and the rest of the team. They consistently go above and beyond, with their friendly and helpful demeanor making our stay truly exceptional. One small note would be the quality of drinks from the bar. While they were perfectly fine, they didn’t quite match the exceptional quality of the food. That said, this is a minor point in an otherwise fantastic experience. Caramel Hotel is undoubtedly a dream destination for family holidays. We can't recommend it enough and are already looking forward to our next visit!

The hotel was lovely in general, big clean pools, lots of loungers, delicious and varied buffet. Having said that, we had several little niggles that added up to an overall okay experience. Firstly, we'd paid up for a private pool and unfortunately the room we were given never got any sun so the pool was freezing and we didn't use our private terrace (we were there in mid-Sept and it was only 20-24 each day with a cool wind so shade wasn't appreciated like it might be in summer). We told the reception about this and they insisted every room got sun, as if we hadn't stayed there and known...? The hotel also didn't seem to encourage or support refilling our own bottles. We asked where we could do this and were given three new plastic bottles instead. We eventually found a cooler in the gym, but would have been nice if they promoted this more to save plastic waste. One perk they offer is a pillow menu, but we were told it was "unavailable" during our stay. They also claim to offer a transfer to the airport, but we were told that was only if we stayed a full week. Staff were nice enough, but fairly unhelpful. We were often met with "I don't know" or shrugs when asking for things. Perhaps we got unlucky, esp. with the room and private pool we hardly used due to lack of sun, but we don't feel we got value for what we paid and wouldn't go back.

This is a nice hotel, it looks very impressive. Food both breakfast and evening meals are varied and good. We used one of the restaurants on site one evening, and that was very good. Everywhere is clean, tidy, and well maintained. We had a room with a swim up shared pool because we wanted our own space without the usual sunbed issues. Unfortunately, the patio and pool area was completely in the shade from about 1pm. We found the buffet restaurant area very loud, and it would have been nice to have some dress restriction in the evening. The tea and coffee wasn't refreshed after the 1st day, but water was supplied. Overall 4 stars.

The amenities of this hotel are amazing! The beach is not so welcoming and that's a pity but the pool is very nice. We had our room upgraded from a garden view to a pool view. The Half board service is wonderful. The variety of food and the service delivered it's top quality. I will come for sure if I visit west Crete again.

As I have a health condition I was looking for a good quality hotel in a quiet setting with easy access to good quality meals, I found this in the Avra Imperial hotel. My room was in the Residence Collection (Adults only) which was lovely and quiet with a stunning large pool, plenty of decent seating and restaurant/bar. I was upgraded to a room with a plunge pool and loungers, which was great as I spent a lot of time on my room's terrace. The reason I gave 4 stars for service and not 5 is that the staff who delivered room service, which i used several times, were unpleasant. This was in stark contrast to the rest of the staff, either reception, restaurants/bars or concierge who were extremely helpful and pleasant.

We recently stayed six nights at the Avra Imperial Hotel, and our overall experience was fantastic. We would highly recommend it to anyone, but with a few caveats. We stayed in the adults-only section, which, as two adults traveling without children, we found essential. The atmosphere was noticeably quieter, and we didn’t have to deal with the usual competition for sunbeds. The separate buffet for adults was also a plus, though we found it lacking in options for evening meals. The hotel's restaurants were exceptional, but it's crucial to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Unfortunately, we found the evening buffet food to be underwhelming. Our suite with a private pool was excellent, offering a peaceful retreat away from the busier main areas, especially in the afternoons. Special mention goes to Maria at the adults-only pool bar—her service was outstanding. She was attentive, kind, and consistently thoughtful throughout our stay, and is a real asset to Avra. In summary, the hotel is fantastic, but your experience will largely depend on your room choice, the area you stay in, and making sure to pre-book the restaurants to avoid relying on the buffet for dinner.

Excellent hotel, we had a beautiful swim up room which was memorable for its views and set up. The pool areas are very nice and the hotel is clean and very modern. Food on the whole was decent with a good selection of restaurants. Drinks in the bars and restaurants are excellent but they were very hit and miss by the pools, some were not drinkable.

We were a couple of days at the "White Palace." From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience! Arrival: We arrived relatively early but were able to check into our room immediately. To our surprise, we received a room upgrade to a villa with a private pool. What a great surprise! Food: The food was fantastic. At the buffet restaurant, you can eat without a reservation at lunch and dinner. The selection is HUGE... and the food was always very good. At the other restaurants, you need to make a reservation for dinner. The food there was also outstanding. Room: The pool in the villa was cleaned daily, and the minibar was refilled every day. Everything was always very clean and tidy. Beach: The private beach belonging to the hotel is well-maintained. Sometimes some seaweed would wash ashore, but it was quickly removed by the staff. You could also order drinks at the beach, which were brought to you quickly. Staff: THANK YOU! The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. For example, one employee noticed that I really enjoy the foam on my cappuccino. When I returned from the buffet, a cup of milk foam was waiting at my place! I've never experienced such attention to detail and care in any hotel before. For any questions or requests, you could always contact the staff via WhatsApp and receive a quick response. Departure: Our flight was very late in the evening. After consulting with the hotel, we were able to stay in our room until departure. That was very accommodating and customer-friendly. Conclusion: A beautiful and clean hotel, delicious food, courteous and friendly staff. We will definitely return and can hardly wait! Thank you very much!

Had a great experience here. At first I was a bit disappointed by the relatively small pool, lack of activities, dated buildings and rooms, but after the second day all that was in the past as the hotel continued to impress with its hospitality, variety and service. Great, friendly staff who anticipate all your needs (thank you, Nikolai, you’re the best!), wonderful diverse food in each of the many restaurants, plenty of options. It won our hearts even if not every part of the place was perfect. We hope to be back one day again.

It's a nice hotel for adults that are seeking a pool vacation - the pools are nice with animation and music. Service is great, rooms are clean and nice (although air conditioning cannot be programmed to temp, only to speed...), the hotel is not wide spread at all, hence not much green. The beach is very small and thin, nor inviting at all, but the pools make up for it - there is even a sun protected pool for small kids (however right next to the pool with music and animation...). The kids club is a small tent with no visible toys or kids decoration, not inspiring or inviting. Overall, if you're after good service, food and pools, that's great. For beach and family, there might be better options.

Stayed at Stella Island in August, a special holiday to celebrate our anniversary and retirement, On arrival in the evening we were greeted and made extremely welcome, with a lovely cocktail, after being dropped at our room, which was a swim up, the room was immaculate, a beautiful cake and chilled wine had been left for us, such a nice touch. The food, service and facilities did not disappoint. All of the staff were attentive nothing being too much trouble, the food was superb with plenty of choices, the steakhouse restaurant in particular was amazing, thank you to all for very special stay. The minute we arrived in Stella Island we were stunned by the breathtaking resort, and we arrived at night, so you can imagine the delight the next day when we woke up in this tranquil paradise. The resort is exactly as it looks in the photos, stunning & luxurious. The service was impeccable & consistent from everyone in every restaurant, reception, bar etc. The food was like being in a fine dining restaurant every night, especially the main buffet. We visited all five a la carté restaurants with ease & were forever blown away by the presentation and quality of the food. The entertainment was riveting with variations daily. We couldn’t find a single flaw, so at a push felt like the check out process could have been as inviting as the check in process.

Incredible experience! This was an amazing property and the service, along with the amenities were great from start to finish! My husband and I went to Elounda on the third leg of our island hopping honeymoon and we most definitely saved the best for last! We were warmly greeted with drinks and snacks upon arrival as well as a bottle of champagne in our room (as well as the traditional honey and nuts). Every little detail was thought of, down to a heart shaped door mat in front of our room. They also had a private breakfast delivered for us in our room the first morning. We had a private pool and beach access which was WONDERFUL! The view of the sunrise was unforgettable! We also went to the spa and experienced the pool, saunas and steam room (A+ experience). We ate at two of the restaurants (Il borro and Yacht Club) and had room service during our stay. The options were unlimited, but our favorite was Il Boro. The staff there was so accommodating (especially our waiter, who is hospitality at the nearby university!) We also frequented the beach bar quite a bit and Andreas was awesome! The breakfast offerings on the property were also amazing… several traditional Cretan dishes. We were so relaxed by the end of our stay here at Elounda!

The beach area, the restaurants, the attention to all details, are all first class! A unique experience, from first to last minute.

I am always reluctant to critique a resort or a business as I believe negative criticisms ought be addressed directly to the resort itself. Yet, when it comes to the Elounda peninsula resort, the problems are so intrinsic to their business model, so ingrained in their philosophy that I am left little choice. Additionally, we previously posted on Travelocity about our stay and the hotel responded that we obviously must have stayed at a different hotel. But we did stay at the Elounda Peninsula hotel and not another hotel in Elounda. Yes, the hotel is situated on a beautiful piece of property and yes access to the sea is well thought out. But 1. Upon entering the lobby which lacks functional air conditioning and was almost 90°, one is greeted with the request for passports and a credit card. Immediately the hotel charges one's credit card for the entire stay. No greeting as to how was your trip, no warmth, nothing but a transactional relationship. Never have I been greeted with the demand for payment in full, not at a single hotel, not at a single location anywhere in the world 2. There is no air conditioning in the breakfast restaurant. Nothing like eating breakfast while perspiring in 90° temperature. There isn't even a fan. All one wants to do is eat as fast as possible and exit for a more appealing location. 3. While each guest is left a beach towel in their room, if one wants a second towel they are told that there is not a sufficient supply. 4. Those guest seeking quiet migrated to the periphery of the property. The Wi-Fi system does not work there. Hard to believe a "five star hotel"cannot get this right. 6. The umbrellas are 5 feet high and fenestrated. We were told by several of the employees that virtually every guess hits their head against these low lying umbrellas, and that several guest have sustained injuries.. Nonetheless, when we visited other hotels far superior umbrellas which do not oppose a threat to one's health exist 7. Even the senior management states that they are aware that systemic problems exist. As for the minor less systemic issues: 1. The bathroom in our two floor suite was not clean. There was toothpaste at here to the sink and hair in the sink. 2. The supposedly private swimming pool was not private. I refer management to the ERIKOUSSA room room 3153. The barrier between the staircase leading to the beach and the pool was absent, allowing all visitors to look in word. 3. The edge of the private pool was sharp and my son lacerated r his finger. The next day maintenance fortunately repaired the obviously irregular pool edge. 4. The luggage was brought to the living room on the first floor of the suite and left there. It took several phone calls to have the porter bring the suitcase up to the bedroom on the second floor. Additionally one should know that the steps are narrow, and one could easily trip and injure themselves. 5. The restaurant il. BURRO had a 30 minute wait after being seated before anyone came by to take an order. Three requests were made for bread. 6. Yes, we changed rooms to a better suite and thank you but even there the bathroom shower when carefully inspected had black hairs at the periphery. We were locked in financially as the hotel would not refund any nights. This is their policy and it is stated as such. Perhaps it is their policy because so many guest are unhappy. Perhaps it is their policy is so many people wish to leave early as the hotel does not meet the standards of a five star resort. Perhaps is their policy as they fully understand their shortcomings, but are unwilling or unable to correct their systemic faults. Perhaps is their policy as they more concerned with profit and not as concerned as they ought be with the guest experience. Perhaps if they had functional air conditioning, towels, Wi-Fi, cleanliness, drinks, which could be purchased from a mini bar instead of an empty mini bar, people would not want to leave there is little that they can respond to. Caveat emptor.--buyer beware

It is definitely one of the most beautiful hotel in the entire world. The view is just amazing and the hotel is superb. The spa is great and you have and exceptional view of the sea from the restaurant . There is also a huge golf course and a lot of activities like jet ski and boat trip. All the staff are extremely kind and respond to any request immediately. I highly recommend and I hope to be back there soon!

Stayed in the Presidential 1 bedroom villa for 3 nights ! Amazing time .. we took a helicopter from Mykonos so we were able to land right at the resorts helipad . They left us a bunch of wine , fruits , cakes and food in our villa waiting for us ! The hidden gem of this suite was the walkway down to a private jetty right on the sea ! Amazing little spot ! We also took out the resorts yacht for a day sail where I proposed to my girlfriend ! They set it up beautifully! 10/10 for style and service ! We did not visit the hotels pool since we had our own private pool and sea access but everything looked beautiful!

A true five-star hotel with nothing to complain about, except for its remote location. Many hotels claim to be five-star but barely reach four at their peak. This one truly delivers luxury, with exceptional rooms, outstanding staff, and food and drinks that exceed expectations. The only drawback is the location. The nearest large town is about a 30-minute drive, and having a car is essential since there is nothing nearby. For a relaxing, stress-free vacation, this might be the perfect choice. The beach is beautiful, the dining options are excellent, and everything within the hotel meets the highest standards. Those who prefer walking to a bar or taverna may find this inconvenient. Even with the remote setting, which was not an issue in my case, everything else was flawless.

We absolutely loved our stay at Daios Cove. Beautiful resort, clean, well designed (except for the elevator system, that’s cool in concept but not logistically sound as you can’t transfer between sides easily). Amazing food. Definitely get full board as it’s easily worth it. The slow roasted lamb at the beach restaurant was honestly the best meal I had on our entire vacation. If you’re looking for an adult only resort, this is not it, but we didn’t find it to be too obtrusive to our stay. I honestly wish we would have just stayed here instead of heading to Chania after 2 nights.

Summary: Second time in Daios Cove and we were not disappointed. It is still a beautiful place with lots of things to do. Front desk: Excellent speed and when we asked for a specific room, we were moved promptly when it became available. They also organized the toy that went missing because it was caught in the sheets… Beach/Pool: It was quite packed on the peek days and yes, quite some sunbeds were occupied before breakfast. We still enjoyed it as asking for a sunbed usually worked. The dive crew offered free trials in the pool which I think is a great idea for the kids. Food: Great choices of gluten free stuff. The staff is very attentive to food allergies. The manager of the breakfast was super helpful and from the first day on, we could enjoy gluten free waffles and pancakes. Consistency with the gluten free waffles and pancakes can still be improved. Sometimes they are great - other times the kitchen used too much corn flour. It would be great to have a recipe everyone could follow. Most dishes were great, though the new interpretation of the excellent “Galaktompureko” was a big disappointment to us. Sadly, there was no way to have it the “old” way. Family: It was great that we could use the Ocean for breakfast. We did not quite understand, why there was an adult section as the whole Taverna-Restaurant is there for breakfast (adults only).

The best choice we had for our first trip as a family with our one year old baby! This paradise had everything we were looking for: amazing view, options for food, family oriented options everywhere, wide bed in a spacious room, great beach, excellent staff! All the personnel was there for any help, request or just a warm smile to all of us! Special thanks to the Front office Manager, Kyrillos, who made us feel so warm welcomed and relaxed in every possible way! He transformed our trip into our most valuable memories just by making everything easy to us and our baby! We will definitely go back next year 🤩

Where do I even begin?! We are still in awe of how incredible the past week spent at Daios Cove has been. So much so, within 12 hours of being home; we’ve already booked our return for June 2025! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and taken care of by each and every member of staff. Whilst being genuine and not pushy, the professionalism and kindness of each employee was incredible. Julie, Kostas and Manos from the Pangea buffet are just to name a few who made our stay so so special. Katerina from the Crystal bar kept us well hydrated every evening, she’s so lovely. The housekeeping team kept our room and the hotel in pristine conditions throughout our stay. They are a true asset to your hotel. The food selection at Daios Cove is just incredible - it’s well worth paying for all inclusive. We’ve never gone for all inclusive due to the stigma of these hotels however…The standard of the restaurants here are truly exceptional - we highly recommend the Taverna and Ocean restaurant for a modern, authentic and extremely high quality restaurant meal. The Pangea buffet is perfect for a relaxed breakfast/dinner (with an array of delicious options). It didn’t feel like one of those ‘mass’ hotels with an overwhelming amount of food. The crystal bar had incredible ambience and quality music every night - we loved DJ Manolo. It is worth mentioning the absolute beauty of the interior, exterior and surroundings of this hotel. The attention to detail of each and every aspect of Daios Cove is truly astounding. The beautiful beach and pools were also so well kept. It felt like we could have been on a private island, it was that beautiful. As an active family, the gym and wellness facilities are the best I’ve ever seen. We love running but due to the lack of access to good running routes, we were super happy to use the excellent facilities. Next time, we can’t wait to explore the Kepos spa as it looked absolutely beautiful. There is absolutely not a single negative we could think of however if we had to mention something - it would just be that we booked a room for 3x adults, and the extra bed in our room was just a tiny sofa that wasn’t very comfortable. Other than that, it didn’t bother me because everything else was just so amazing. Thank you for such a beautiful stay and we can’t wait to be back next June :) Helen, Nick & Anna Humphrey-Taylor
