we stopped over Christmas, it was last minute so there wasn't much left. we booked breakfast on arrival that worked out at only £3 each a day, it was basic but decent, everything you needed, warm and well cooked. right the hotel needs some serious renovation's, its really dated and hasn't had any money spent on it in years! they really need to rip down all the horrible holey yellow curtains, looks like somebody has been chain smoking solid for 10 years! it does smell like weed most days but that's not the hotels fault! we only booked self catering so for what we needed it was ok, to sleep and a base to enjoy Puerto del carmen, we spent most of our time at the beach and walking. the pool is absolutely freezing, on arrival there was 5 black ducks in the pool haha. the good points, location is absolutely fantastic, the views if you book a room with a view is the best view we've ever had in any hotel we've ever stopped in, room was cleaned 3 times in 7 days with fresh towels when needed. unfortunately there's no lifts so its about 150+ steps, so if you're not good on your feet or have little ones and prams then these rooms are a definite no! it kept me and my family fit for a week, now my calf's are like concrete lol. it is a real shame, back in it's hay day, i bet this hotel was fantastic, just needs (a lot ) of money spending on it.

Honest review of this hotel after reading many mixed reviews. Location is fabulous right in the old town, about 15 min walk to promenade, there are steps (quite a lot) to get to hotel or there is an incline walk for those able. We are couple late 20s/early 30s and this did not bother us. The hotel itself, we found it very clean, pool was cleaned most if not every morning, it is very cold. As we went mid October we had loads of loungers and parasols so this wasn't an issue for us and pool bar is also ok for drinks and snacks. Breakfast is very good value, we stayed self catering and enquired about breakfast on arrival for the 2 of us for the week was €44! Couldn't believe it and good selection of hot, cold, fruits, yogurts etc. so definitely recommend this. The rooms, yes dated, beds not the best, we found 3 cockroaches throughout our stay in the bathroom. The biggest thing for us was the lack of air con, the fans in the room were just awful. I genuinely don't know how people survive this in the summer months. So a few nights no sleep for us with the heat as it was unbearable. The shower was very powerful and loads of hot water. Nice chairs and table in the small balcony. Would I stay again? No - Only on the pretense of air con. The hotel is generally good and if you're not expecting much from a 3* hotel and you don't mind sweating at night 🤣 then go for it!

I don't know where to start. The hotel is not bad, it is old, but it does need remodeling, but what I like most apart from the location is the staff. They are all incredible, starting with the receptionists Fer and Jonathan, always attentive to everything we needed. The food is not bad, although it is true that there could be more variety, especially in the desserts, because every night it was the same, but I am not complaining. Now, the waiters are all incredible, highlighting Natalia, Angel and Juver, very kind and familiar. And finally, Jonathan, the animation guy, a lovely person, I loved the way he addressed the children, always cheerful and attentive. I am not giving the hotel 5 stars because it is true that it has aspects to improve in terms of the building, but for the rest, incredible.

Great location for old town and only around 10 minute walk to the strip. You can walk down to old Town in 2 minutes. Loads of food /bars to choose from. Apartments were basic, no AC, fans were installed. Room was clean enough and the staff did a great job of cleaning. The place is showing it's age a bit, but it is ok for the price. Pool was good, some wear and team and a queue for the loungers. We were in the third tier, so had to climb around 65 steps from the road to get back. I got fitter! but it might not suit anyone who can't climb. Would recommend a terrace not balcony if you can get it, even though people can walk past, during the day you get the shade of the balcony above you.

Exceptionally clean, and wonderful views but dated decor. With faded apartment pictures, original clean 80's curtains, mismatched furniture including old dresser, oversized electrical equipment for tiny kitchen units and painted or badly applied silicone patched bathtubs with shower curtain. Functional but needs modernisation throughout. The pool tiles definitely needs attention. I only used the pool once (for core temperature relief from the 37°C heat) during my fortnightly stay due to uneven cement surrounding the pool and the tens of reviews on various websites about the missing, broken and jagged mosaic pool floor tiles.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment. The sea view from our private terrace was amazing. There was a table & chairs plus a sun lounger which was great for undisturbed sunbathing. There was also a door that led to a balcony. The kitchen was equipped with basic amenities but we needed to buy tea & coffee etc plus washing up items. We had a couple of issues such as the door handle coming off the entrance door, the TV not working and the broken sun lounger but these were all resolved very quickly the same day. The aircon wasn't really necessary as the wind blew through the apartment when windows were opened, which was a blessing! Housekeeping came most days but towels and bedding weren't changed often. The hotel was clean and modern and there were plenty of sun loungers around the pool.

Spotless apartment. Slightly dated, but comfy. Shower curtain sticking to you is a pain, but hey ho . Tidy grounds & oh so quiet. Efficient and good buffet breakfast's. Massive Spar shop right next door for all the essentials. Happy enough with this place . Relatively close to a bus stop too.

Don't be put off by negative reviews. I was really worried previous reviews but it was lovely! We arrived late at night and they had snacks and water ready for us, we were also upgraded to a larger apartment which was perfect. Apartments are dated and could do with a deep clean but they were fine! Food was good, there was a nice variety of healthy foods and they changed each night. Location is great, spar right beside hotel, across road from the beach and 20 mins walk into PDC. Overall we were really happy with our stay.

Very dated apartments,Large but that didn't make up for not having a balcony , which was on booking form , asked for a move, late arrival told next day would better,but no luck.housekeeping can't complain even though it was too early every morning! Bit of walk to nearest bars restaurant, OK if you're fit and used to walking! Puerto del Carmen is definitely bus or taxi ride, beach right opposite, won't be coming this area again .

Recently returned from our 2nd stay at costa mar, apartments very spacious, we were in block E which had a lovely sea view. Upon arrival the staff upgraded us to a 2 bedroom apartment which was a lovely surprise, our balcony was huge, staff lovely, clean facilities didn't eat in restaurant this time. Good location will definitely return.

The main point is, you get what you pay for. Nice clean hotel but rooms are basic, dated and no Aircon. The 2 room issues we had were resolved within a day. Staff were excellent, more than helpful and willing. Wide selection of food at all meals. Only negative here was food wan never hot, more warm or tepid so the microwave was necessary. Long queues for tea/coffee machines,. Could do with more less complicated machines. Taxi to town (The Strip) €5 to €8 or a 30 min walk in downhill or 50 min walk back, mostly hill. Overall acceptable place, great staff,

nice, quiet hotel. Rooms were tidy and cleaned every 2 days. All staff were a joy, particularly bar staff. Drinks on the all inclusive were of a wide range and tasted as you’d expect. only slight let down was the limited range of food at the hotel, although the quality of the food wasn’t awful. quite far walking to the main part of PDC but very accessible with a taxi only taking 5 or so minutes. The area surrounding is very hilly so not ideal for people who have mobility issues. overall, a good experience with only the food slightly knocking the score. Would recommend.

Room was clean and adequate for what we needed went all-inclusive food was good they had a good variety each meal time. Drinks where good, Staff where helpful and friendly. Pool area was clean and tidy. Nice walk to the bars and restaurants. All in all decent place would go back 👍

I’d never gone alone on holiday before. Staying here was so much fun. The staff were - all AMAZING. So helpful and friendly. The room was perfect. The food was Amazing. Really enjoyed the variety of options everyday. Can’t fault it. Would stay again.

this was our second stay and we loved our second stay at this lovely apartments staff were so nice, couldn't do enough for us. Jose on the desk is so nice and helpful. Bobby in the bar is such a gentleman, helpful and kind with the best smile, he would just make your day. I just wish it was closer to the strip. but taxi is easy to get. rooms could do with an update but very clean We will be back

Decent hotel, we only stayed self catering and were out and about a lot but the accommodation was fine - clean and tidy and well maintained. Had a look around the hotel side of the complex, pool looked nice and had shops etc on site.

I've just spent 4 days with my family in THB Flora hotel in Lanzarote and was so impressed! We all had such a wonderful time. Everything was fabulous..the room was spacious and clean..lovely pool and bar, the food served in the restaurant absolutely delicious and service outstanding. Over rated hotel you'll be lucky to get a hello or good bye from the staff makes you feel. Unwelcome. Food in restaurant is average. The maintenance men and cleaners are great they dont stop. Disappointed to be honest. Be careful of your food especially chicken they served it raw on a pizza. Shown it to the staff and they didn't really careless. If your breakfast and evening meal you have to buy your drinks with evening meal terrible. You spen all that money on a family holiday and they wont more Definitely will not stay at this place again

Spent an expensive night here this week after my 'not so easy jet' airline cancelled our flight at the last minute and insisted we must book a 3 star hotel. No working air con in either room and no other rooms available. When I reported that the air-con was not working I got a sympathetic shrug from the nice girl on the reception and advised to open the windows and doors. To be fair, the next morning when checking out there was workmen including an air-conditioning engineer running about the place so looks like the air con issue was more widespread then just our rooms so I wish they had advertised that to us that they had issues. So hopefully for the next poor souls to go there may be not so hot in the rooms. The rooms are tired and basic but the beds comfortable. Overall not very clean with someone else's hair and litter still on the floor in our room. I would not stay again and had I known about the air con issue would not have gone there at all. Did not eat there so cannot judge that and the late night entertainment went on till about 1am was overly loud and an out of tune poor quality singer which is fine if you like low ball cabaret but not for us. For the price we paid (£150 plus per night per room), not worth it even as a same day booking. I am sure it is much cheaper as a package holiday. It probably is a 3 star hotel as seems to have the appropriate functions but that does not always mean nice environment.

First time here, arrived late. They had some bags of food for us. ( nice touch). Rooms great, had 2 studios loads of space, tea and coffee, flat screen TV. Hotel is 5- 10 min walk from everything, ignore "heart attack" hill, says more about the bone idle. Been impressed with this place. Food is very good.

Our second time staying in this hotel. The location is lovely. Rooms are big and spacious. The food isn't really great so we only had bed and breakfast and didn't opt for all inclusive. The staff are friendly and the entertainment team are amazing. My daughter loved them! They were full of energy and were always smiling. Its a lovely hotel and would definitely stay again.

Just stayed here for new year's eve for 4 nights. Rooms spacious, great location as it's about 5 minutes walk or less to the beach. Shops along the beach also and a spar supermarket. Lots of restaurants around to eat in. We only had breakfast in the hotel which was fine buffet. The staff were lovely it's a really big hotel. Downside is my side of the hotel I could hear the entertainment from my room. With 3 small children this was not good as they wouldn't sleep. My sister stayed on the other side of hotel with no children and it was quiet. They should really sleep children on the quiet side. Pool was freezing also to be expected but one of the pools was meant to be heated so that was disappointing. I would stay here again

After reading bad reviews I was concerned about coming here, but we've had a fantastic week. The rooms on the airport side haven't been renovated yet, but they are clean and spacious and are cleaned daily. There is plenty of food choice at all meal times, even for picky eaters like my son. None of us went hungry and the food was good quality. Pool area gets busy quickly, so we did go down early to get sunbeds. Entertainment has been good this week and my son has loved the mini disco at night. The kids club is brilliant! My son has had such a good time this week and made so many things and created so many memories and he was sad to leave today. The way the kids club look after the kids is fantastic and the best thing about the hotel my son said. Negatives - it can get noisy at night at the weekends with the planes, but during the week it wasn't too bad. People leave rubbish everywhere instead of tidying up after themselves and the staff are struggling to keep on top of it all. Bar service in the evening is slow and you're only allowed 2 drinks, so as a family of 3 it got very frustrating, as the bar queue gets silly sometimes. All in all, we have had a lovely week here and although we usually book 5 star resorts, we would definitely come back to this hotel in future.

Clean, spacious and welcoming reception are. That's the good part. I have just spent Christmas & New Year here and I have to say I am very disappointed. The room was not big enough for a family of four, very dated with poor quality beds for the kids. Food was awful, same over cooked, over seasoned rubbish served up almost every breakfast, dinner and tea. Evening entertainment - packed up and gone for 10:30 so definitely not good. The only good thing about the place is that you can have your room made up every day if you wish. When was the last time this place was given it's star rating? Definitely NOT 4*, 2* at a push. Over priced and will not be back.

I stayed at this hotel in 2012 (a winter holiday). It's an older hotel on the coast and was very comfortable plus the food was great - I booked the 'all inclusive'. I had a large balcony ensuite room. The spa was a real treat. There were some hotel activities (music/musicians in the evening), pool games and coach trips. I booked the 🌋 volcanic 🍇 vineyard 🚍coach day trip which included lunch and had a wonderful day. It was a relaxing environment and the beach was just outside the hotel so was ideal for evening walks.

Such a lovely hotel. The apartment we got was a pool view with breakfast. We were on the quiter side of the hotel through the gates. It was perfect. We went for breakfast each morning and they had a wide variety on display, always fresh and tasty. The pools are clean and very well maintained as are the grounds. The rooms are cleaned every single day. We stayed 10 days. The large pool is a sea water pool and it's so lovely as the smaller one in front of our apartment was a lot colder, still nice but I preferred the larger one. Rooms are very clean and have the basics. Air con, TV. The beds are comfortable but I found the pillows a little uncomfortable personally, my husband didn't though. Easy to get a bus or taxi into the main strip if you want more night life, but plenty of restaurants and bars around the area if you want a little less madness. So close to the beach and spar across the road. Can't wait to come back again.

Just returned from a 10 day break at the Floresta with my wife and 3 kids. We had a great time and will definitely return. Great location, large spacious apartments which are cleaned daily, lovely pools and lots of variety in terms of food and drink. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The entertainment team work so hard and do a great job. The only criticism is their lack of consideration for food allergies. My son has a diagnosed egg allergy and none of the food was labelled, they couldn't provide any kind of allergen or ingredients list and had a rubbish system where you order off a set of 3 or 4 basic choices each day and have to book a time slot for your meals. Despite that, we still loved our stay. Definitely visit the volcano /national park. We hired a car for the day to go and it was a great experience.

A lovely hotel, this is our second visit here. It is ideally located not to far from the beach and only 10 minutes from the airport. Yes, it is only a 3 star, and it may show it at meal times with the level of choice, however we have always managed to find something to eat and never had a bad stomach. The hotel, rooms, and ground are always well kept and tidy, we would recommend it and would return no problem

Just returned from 10 days all inclusive and As any hotel there were some good and bad points to the stay. We loved the location of the hotel as we were very close to the beach and plenty of bars and restaurants only a short walk away. Excursions were easy to book via reception and staff were very helpful with bookings. We really enjoyed the pool as it was large in size and not too cold with it being salt water. The restaurant held a few theme nights which were nice. I had my 25th birthday while we stayed and we had a bottle of sparkling wine left on the table which was a lovely gesture, thank you!! The things that we were disappointed with was the night time entertainment, very underwhelming and not really worth waiting until 10pm for. Although the food was good, breakfast was very repetitive with very little rotation of different foods to try each morning. Our room was cleaned daily, sometimes very late in the afternoon, however the sheets were never changed and only straightened up. My other half had a cut that bled in the night and the blood stains were seen for days as the house keepers never put on fresh sheets. Although reception staff were lovely, most of the restaurant/bar staff looked like they couldn’t be bothered and never greeted you with a smile. Despite the disappointing points we had a lovely stay

Currently coming to the end of our 10 night half board holiday. It had exceeded our expectations. Short transfer from the airport. Hotel and grounds are clean and well kept. Great room. Exceptionally clean. The cleaners and staff are friendly. Great pool area always got a sun bed. Big pool and small pool at the main complex. Salt water. Another pool in the quieter complex along with a nice little play park. Not much shade for little ones so take a hat. Pool bar excellent value for money. Portions are huge. Food in the restaurant is very good and better than what we expected. Always something to find to eat. Great variety. We enjoyed the breakfast the most. But did like the themed nights on an evening. Nice mini disco for our 3 Yr old. Fab location near to the beach and promenade. First time here and would definitely return for a relaxing family holiday.

Good value for money hotel. Enjoyed the All inclusive buffet, food changed and was tasty. Two pools is a bonus. Downside was air cons not on during off peak season (wasn't clear when booking), the gym was shut permanently (likely to be open during summer) and the front desk staff are not super friendly. But overall good stay, in November.

I stayed at this place way back in July 2007 when I was only 9 with family. So writing this review and giving it a rating is really out of sentiment, since there will no doubt have been changes over the years. Based on my memory, I remember this place being a very good place to stay for both adults and kids. The breakfast buffets were always very good. The room was pretty standard with a ground floor balcony overlooking C.Tomillo (street name) towards the beach. The swimming pool was also fun with a bridge crossing over it. I hope this place is still doing well.

Staff and rooms fine, breakfast is the same most days, with ques for toast. Pools fine even thou folks had towels out before it opened. If you have rooms 425 426 325 326 you can't open your bedroom window without the noise( entertainment) goingnon past 11pm then the smokers hang outside this area, with some liking a noisy chat before heading away. The fault really for the money are the above mentioned rooms, everything else was fine.

Having read some reviews before our arrival, I was a little worried about what type of experience we would have. I can't fault it, I'm pleased to say. I had requested that due to reduced mobility if possible that I didn't have to walk up steps to my room, this request was honoured by putting me in a lovely apartment, with no steps & close to the pool, restaurant & bar, I couldn't have asked for more. I thoroughly enjoyed the food. They had so much choice & were always replenishing it. We stayed by the quieter pool which was lovely & there were always plenty of sunbeds. The only negative for me was the 3 cats I saw wandering around, but apart from that, my experience at Livvo Morromar was a good one & I would happily go back & hope to do so soon.

Stayed for a week vacation - Morromar is simply wonferful place. Clean apartments, great food, lovely staff - everyone was helpfull, from the people working at reception to ladies that cleaned the whole place. Breakfast mostly the same with little changes, lunches and dinner on the other hand were different almost everyday - everyone can find something for themselves. And everything was fresh. It was 10/10 stay for me.

Great clean room, we stayed in the self catering part of the hotel. Apartment was very spacious and clean with all what you'd expect, cooking and cleaning tools. Great balcony view of the chill out area and beach. Staff are very pleasant and helpful providing all the info you need to have a trouble free holiday. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Just back from our 10 night stay. The hotel itself was lovely and very close to the strip and beach. It’s about a 15 min walk to the old town too. The hotel is situated at the top of what everyone calls ‘cardiac hill’ but it really isn’t that bad maybe if you have a disability you probably would struggle. The hotel does have a side entrance you can access through and then go up lots of steps but the gate closes around 7. Also another way is to enter from the strip at the bottom of the hotel near sun lounge. The rooms are bright, clean and modern we loved the room and we were very pleased as we was near the pool area. The only thing with the room was mopping up every time we took a shower. The hotel doesn’t like inflatables in the pool or said no ball games but people did have balls in pool and the pool staff didn’t seem to mind. Sun beds were taken very early but the staff removed towels if they were left unattended for long. The only reason why we wouldn’t return to this hotel is because the pool was absolutely freezing!

We spent 11 nights here and it was great. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, the outside area is kept very clean, there are lots of people working here to keep it tidy. It is just a minute away from the beach and the pool area is also good, I will definitely come back here

Nice hotel. Friendly staff . . Right on cardiac hill. . . Pool was good to cool down when it was roasting hot . . Had a great time. But the only complaint was the towels round the pool . Some days hotel staff would remove them if guests left them.. maybe yous should've done this all the time rather when it suited you's . . As people could have been away for hrs and nothing would be done . But yet others would be lifted within minutes of them leaving the hotel. . Team meeting I think and make sure yous all work off the same hym sheet . .

Our experience for Kontiki is great. Good location, neat rooms, nice, a bit too cold 😄, swimming pool. The time we stayed there was checked every day for putting towels on the sunbeds. Special thanks to the staff who are busy every day to make the rooms and garden tidy.

Here now No drinking water in our room! No way is that 4 star service! Kettle but no condiments! Teenangers riding E Scooters around the pool & inside the Hotel! Nice to beach Still time to rectify my review Edit: 25/12/2024 Thank yin for removing the e scooters round the pool. Must say I'm impressed by the animation team. Really good effort and energy from the team. I paid €30 to have drinks like water in the mini bar- bottles that came with bottle tops that need a bottle opener! 🤦🏻‍♂️ I've taken coffee from the restaurant to use in the room, but no milk sachets. Food is nice Service is respectful Location to the beach is brilliant! Edit: Christmas dinner was a disaster! Less said the better! Repeat again: Having water bottles in our room that need a bottle opener to open! No use to me or my 8 year old daughter when we are thirsty in our room at night? After paying €30 to have drinks in our room P.S. we are meant to be all inclusive

Stayed at Sol Lanzarote for a week. The good parts included a modern room, cleaned every day, 3 pools which were not too busy apart from the heated pool which is full of kids most of the day. I thought the food was decent and you do get a good selection everyday including meats, cheese, bread, fruits and vegetables, and desserts. The beer and wine is on tap so it's very easy to get yourself a drink whenever you feel like it. The hotel has very good beach access which is literally only a 30 second walk away from one of the pools. The only negatives I would say are the music is very loud and lively all day from about 10:00 am to about 22:30 pm at night. There are also a lot of children there who are quite loud as well. Overall it's a good hotel but I personally think it's more suited for a family with children than a quiet holiday getaway for a couple.

What can I say about this hotel except a week is not long enough. The staff are so so friendly, the food caters for all types of critics, the rooms absolutely spotless as was the whole area surrounding the hotel, walkways, stairways, pool area, gym and laundry area. There is a small shop located in the foyer but on the last day we discover a large shop connected to the back of the hotel. I seriously cannot fault one thing about this hotel. Located directly at the beach with some shops in the local area, as this is situated in Matagorda it is a good 45minute to hours walk to the main shopping area but sure when on holiday in the sun isn't the beauty of that in the walking and taking in the scenery. Looking to go back this year.

So clean and tidy with great attention to detail. All inclusive so the food is what you would expect. However the drinks are absolutely bob on with proper sized wine glasses and a decent lager on tap. We will definitely be returning.

We booked last minute for a 4 night break. This place didnt disappoint. The people were amazing. The food in the small cafe/restaurant was fab. The rooms were spotless. Only downside was no air conditioning. Would.come here in cooler times but not peak season. The pool area was so well maintained by lovely men. Immaculate.

Great budget hotel, overall 5 star as this is a budget hotel rated as 2 stars, and as a 2 star hotel it is excellent. Stayed for a long weekend in November with friends, everything you could need as a base. Supermarket 5 mins down the road, main strip about 20 min walk. Helpful reception staff, Clean basic rooms, pool bar with friendly staff and decent snack food and drinks, housekeeping staff lovely (but not daily). Pool was cold but refreshing. Sunbeds could use a little TLC or updating but all in all a great choice if you need to watch your budget when booking. Would happily stay again.

Location ok, about a 10 min walk to the main strip which is really good. Good variety of shops, plenty of options for food, great beaches. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were basic but adequate. Pool area had a good vibe. However, many guests booked sunbeds 24/7 but hardly seemed to use them, on more than one occasion we couldn't get one and had to sit on the floor on a towel. One thing to be aware of, the reception/site has no staff after around 8pm. The problem this caused is no one was there to monitor evening activities. About three times during our holiday some guests gathered and had parties by the pool until around 2-3am keeping us awake. This may be your thing, but not ours. If there was more control over evening activities and sunbed booking I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, but...

The room had all the things that had been mentioned in the description. However, it was not as clean as it could've been as there were stains on the bathroom walls and we also found some pieces of hair in our bed and blanket. The fridge and freezer were quite dirty too. Moreover, it was rather cold during the night in January, and only thin blankets could be found. The walls are thin and to our bedroom we could hear the staff starting to talk early in the morning. The location of Los Tulipanes is excellent, just a small walk and the main boulevard can be found. In addition, the gates were locked at night time and we felt safe the whole trip.

AMAZING staff (Sara!) she truly is an asset to the hotel. Having disabled parents with us and Easy Jet not passing on details of this Sara took it upon herself to make us as comfortable as possible, including changing our apartment on day 2 (we were originally given upstairs!) Sara arranged for us to change to a poolside apartment to make things easier which meant my parents could enjoy some independence and not rely on us helping them up and down the stairs. She truly made our holiday. The care and compassion she showed us made the experience amazing, giving the personal touch. The apartment was nice, and the 2 pools were great as it meant there was no overcrowding. The main strip/ beach was about a ten minute walk with a shop a couple of minutes away.

This was our third visit to these apartments. A very small, adult only complex comprising of about 24 apartments. They are very basic studio apartments, an open plan kitchen/bedroom with a bathroom. Nearly all the apartments have either a terrace or balcony over looking the small unheated pool. There are about 12 sun loungers situated around the pool and my only complaint was the early morning sunbed baggers, who would put towels out, then go out for a good few hours preventing other people from using them. We stayed for three weeks and saw a big turnover of guests and they all seemed to want to do it. The apartments themselves are dated with very basic cooking equipment and utensils. A 2 ring hob and a microwave. 3 forks, 3 knives and 3 spoons. 3 cups, plates and 2 bowls. You can ask for more apparently but we managed. The apartments are serviced with a basic clean and towel change once a week and a more thorough clean, bedding and towel change once a week. It’s clean and the beds are very comfy and very quiet at night. We don’t need much moreVery close to the strip, within walking distance of lovely restaurants, bars and the beach, just in case you don’t get up early enough to bag a sunbed. The staff are lovely and assist as much as they can. It ticks all the boxes for us despite being basic. We will definitely return.

I recommend Las Lilas 100%. Intimate, quiet and peaceful. Great owner and nice service. Closest shop across the street another 5 minute walk. Beach, restaurants and bus stop 3 minutes away. Rooms clean and properly equipped. A small disadvantage is the lack of a jug. I highly recommend Las Lilas, the proof is that I returned there after 4 months for another vacation. Lovely apartments, we had app 114 which has mobility scooter accessibility. Pool is rather cold as it doesnt get much sun but is very refreshing! Good size, very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be back in the not to distant future. If i was being picky i would say that some areas could do with a little more cleaning but it was more than good. It was my birthday while we were here and i was given a lovely bottle of freixenet as a surprise, which i thought was very sweet of them.

We spent 3 nights there and it was perfect: clean, well equipped with everything needed (especially the Moka, for Italians), the host was very kind and available for every need. The location was also good, 3 mins by foot to reach the beach and all the restaurants/pubs in the center. The pretty pool is perfect to chill and enjoy the place. We loved it.

Terrible place, I am 49 and came with my elderly parents who are 74 & 77, we were not greated kindly at all, the regular guests who stay for months treated us like we were in their way, watching everything we did and looking in our rooms, they didn’t like any noise or movement, the maid service was none existent, will be staying anywhere but there in the future

Just returned from a great week here. Was a little worried about going as I'd read a few negative comments, but it's been lovely. Cheap and cheerful, great spot, lovely and quiet and just a 5 min walk to the strip. You get what you pay for but it's clean, the maid was in everyday, towels changed once during the week. Could do with updating, never used the kettle, toaster or microwave as they were a bit past their sell by date. It hasn't put us off as we are hoping to book again for next year. Loved it!

Just returned from another stay at the Laguneta. We love these apts, clean and spacious quite basic but so so peaceful. Mingo on reception was again very friendly and this will not be our last visit Staff will give towels/toilet rolls if you ask and apt cleaned daily. No 7 needs bigger TV 😄 See you soon

Lack of everything needed. Dirty, no reception, potent surrounding smell, very small TV. Many other things. Let me just say that we stayed here in these same apartments in 2017 then again in 2018 but gone they have gone right down hill. Was in Lanzarote last year when heavier restrictions (different better staffed apartments which we loved ), main issues in Laguneta mostly stem from lack of necessary staffing. We will definitely keep returning to Lanzarote as we have done for the last 18 years but not to these apartments.

This is a great location. It’s close to the main central strip and beach. The grounds here are immaculately kept and the pool is very good - deep around though so flotation devices for kids is a good idea. Having said that the pool area and pool are quiet. The apartment we had was nice if a little tired. It was hot when we were there in August and 3 people so needed an extra fan staff were so helpful and got one straight away. Mosquitoes are an issue if you leave windows open at night for me - rest of family weren’t to bad. Would highly recommend

We stayed here for 8 nights and loved it! The apartment was clean and they cleaned the pool every morning! It also wasn’t too crowded. If you are a 5star all inclusive person this might not be your cup of tea but I think it’s a lovely little accommodation, close to Spar and the beach on a little hill🌊🐚 they also had everything in the kitchen so cooking is easy. Check in and check out was very easy

Fabulous quiet complex with friendly staff and a nice pool!! I sent a few emails before our stay which were replied to so quickly. The minute we got to the place to check in we were greeted with a nice staff member. Room was spacious, very clean and basic but ideal. Beds were very comfortable and a fan provided which was great. The complex is gated and it closes early so you need a code to get in which felt very safe. Lovely quiet area and walking distance to both towns. Great place!!

It was a very good staying in VistaMar Apartments. Staff in the restaurante are amazing and super friendly, as well in the reception. The food is also very good. The Room View is the best that you can have, however the rooms are a little dated. Only bad side is the Breakfast is a bit late (from 10am) which make us waiting until late to go out an discover the island. Thank you

Very good value self catering accomodation at the top of the hill. Gym on site with changing facilities you can use on check out day. Swimming pool is deep, and quite cold, but it's refreshing when the days are hot. Kids pool also available. Great staff, very friendly and full of advice.

Close enough to be within walking distance of the beach, bars & restaurants but far enough away for decent sleep. The rooms have recently been renovated & they & the pools are kept clean. Just stayed for a week at Luz y Mar. From the moment we arrived which was at 18.30 there were no reception just a key in and envelope with my name on it stuck to the door. Walked in to the apartment to a strong smell of foist. Apartment was very dated, had a small TV that was on a table, the wooden sofa had a approximately 3 inch thick cushion on it, not comfy at all, the cover had a big stain on it, the balcony door dragged along the floor when you opened it. We arrived on the Friday, a guy came on the Monday and just give us clean towels and went, did not see any staff to clean the room or change the sheets and take the rubbish. We had the same towels all week. No security at all, no reception after 7pm to control any problems and so had to listen to a family screaming at each other. The receptionist during the day was miserable and had a bad attitude with anyone who needed assistance. Could continue to go on but that's enough. Would never go back there again.

Pleasantly surprised. This place isn't the RITZ, but everything works, everything is clean, the location is perfect, and there's a real friendly community around Kathy's bar staff. We were greeted by a lady named Maureen who showed us where to find the key (we were late checking in so they leave it with your name outside reception). Kathy's bar makes the resort, and the staff are super friendly and great with kids. The Lidl is less than 5 mins walk and it's a 15 mins walk downhill to the main strip and old town. There are 3 or 4 bars outside the resort that sell nice food and drinks at a reasonable price. We're likely going to go back.

I've been to the island more times than I can remember and this was the first time I had stayed here. On my arrival I was greeted by such a friendly lady on reception who explained everything very clearly and made the check in and out process very simple/smooth. Many thanks to her. The room I had was a good size for both of us who were only really there for the shower and sleeping as we went out the entire time. The times we spent at the complex we used Kathy's bar, this was perfect for tasty food throughout the day and drink when required. Thanks to all her team. The only thing I would say is there is a bit of noise from doors slamming in neighbouring apartments, this is not a dig at this place, it's the same all over the island and a little bit of foam around the door frames would help this. It's not a major problem and certainly will not stop me from looking to stay here again in the future. Good location in-between old town and the beach. Many thanks to everyone there.

Amazing stay made only better by Kathy, Maureen, Chloe and Emma (and husband). Would definitely go again rooms are very spacious, clean and most have a pool view. Food was delicious and great value for money. 5 minute walk to Lidl and the spar and 15 minutes (left on roundabout) to the front.

It's an OK place to stay. The beds are massively uncomfortable and are in desperate need of replacing. The sheets and blankets do not keep you warm at night. Also, the plug sockets like to fall out of the wall. They kicked us out at 10:00am. Even though our flight wasn't till 19:00. The annoying thing was they didn't start cleaning the room until 14:30 (we could see while we were waiting at the pool) So it wouldn't have hurt to let us stay in there until about 14:00. Kathy's Pool Bar is fantastic, and they are really wonderful people. Kathy is the only reason I would stay again.

Great location even though people are sometimes put off by the hill, it's not really that bad as access to the hotel can be made from the bottom through several levels. The staff are great, professional and friendly, the rooms could be considered basic but they are well equipped and above all clean and spacious, beds are comfortable and any road noise is minimal ensuring a good nights sleep. The location is ideal as a base to explore Puerto Del Carmen.

We arrived at the hotel at 8pm after a long day travel, the receptionist told us the hotel was full, there was no room for us even our booking was confirmed and we've got an official reservation. That hotel forced us to go further to another one we didn't want. Plus, it was the period of the New Year's eve, so it was impossible to find another one, good with my own preferences. I tried multiple times to call Booking.com to help us with that bad situation, but nothing. That doesn't make sense. Overbooking issues are not my responsibility, and I should not have to suffer the inconveniences.

Loved these apartments. Close to everywhere. Rooms were clean and staff were lovely. Little restaurant on site was lovely for food and drinks. Only 2 faults no air conditioning but you can rent a unit at reception and the bed i got was very uncomfortable. Still had a amazing 2 week holiday.

First time staying here, my 9th time in lanzarote. First off the location is excellent right on the strip which is located half way up cardiac hill we did not mind this but some staying here may. Pool is excellent and the sun loungers are great with views of the ocean probably the best views we’ve had staying in PDC. We only had drinks at the bar and they were great but I would say they only have a small selection of cocktail choices I would recommend a few more as several people said the same when we were here. Pool bar food looks very good and many love it. The views from our room is excellent we stayed in 505. Small things needed in the apartments - a lot of the sockets are almost hanging off the whole and are slightly broken - this seems unsafe and a simple electric fixing would have it secured, there is also very limited sockets I would suggest adding more or maybe an extension lead in each apartment. The fans were a great addition. We paid €55 to have air conditioning in the room for the 10 days so worth it! We have stayed in other places were it is free but again make sure you ask them. Rented an iron and boarded for free with a €20 deposit again very good to have this option. Beds very comfortable. Towel quality not great but they done the job, rooms cleaned every 2nd day which was great, when we did arrive I did find some dust and hairs throughout the apartment but nothing major. The apartments were clean and comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. Staff were very friendly and helpful with all our questions, it’s not the nicest I’ve stayed in Lanzarote but I would certainly stay here again and I look forward to booking it again in the future.

We just spent 10 nights here and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. We were initially a little disappointed as we had hopped for a sea view but the room was perfectly fine with a pool view the only downside was the bedroom was over the kitchen of nicos which was noisy extractor fans etc. The plusses : location is so accessible to the beach the strip shops restaurants. There's a well stocked supermarket across the street. We have spent a vacation here for a second time. The Livvo Apartments comprises of a large number of bright, airy apartments on the ground and first floor. The ones on the first floor are reached by outdoor, spiral stairs. The apartments are relatively well equipped with fridge, electric hob and shower. There is a large swimming pool with a smaller, shallow part for children. There are nice ornamental gardens and there is a bar serving drinks and snack meals.  BBQ area and a selection of books available. Free WiFi is available and I'm glad to say the need to log in every time you return or when you switch your phone etc on has been resolved. The rooms are cleaned on a near daily basis and all the staff are all pleasant and a special mention must go to Rosa who is especially cheerful. Overall Livvo Apartments offer GREAT value. Thoroughly recommended.

Great hotel with a warm and friendly welcome and amazing staff, chatty but not in your face and really helpful. We didn't eat here but the food being served looked really good. A nice 10 minute walk to the main front or on the other direction to the old harbour. The room was spacious and clean with lots of hot water and a good shower, basic cooking facilities (who cares!) but plenty of mugs, plates etc and most importantly a cork screw. Bottle of water in the fridge was a nice touch. Lovely place to hang out in evening with a few drinks, very reasonable prices. Lots of places to relax and change if you are waiting for your pick up after checkout. Tip....if you want a quieter room away from the outside bar as for a room in the rear block. Beautiful outdoor areas with flowers and trees, very well kept.

Fabulous hotel. Great position for the strip or the old town. We have stayed there twice this year and cannot fault it. The rooms are lovely and well supplied for anyone self catering. Everywhere is so clean. We saw our cleaner most days during our 10 day visits, even if it was just with fresh towells. Both pool areas lovely. We have eaten at the hotel both breakfast and dinner, and the food was very nice. Staff very friendly and go beyond to try and help in any way they can. I had a fall during our visit last week, not at the hotel ,but coming back from the strip. Not only did they offer to arrange transport to see a doctor but provided me with crutches so that I was able to enjoy the rest of my holiday. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. We are already looking to book again for next year.

What a lovely apartment complex equally distant from the very lively sea front with all its bouncing bars and great restaurants to the harbour area with a more relaxed feel. The apartments are clean, and most have been modernised recently. The pool area is lovely and we didn't have an issue getting a sunbed (contrary to some reports). Reception staff are great. Housekeeping are fantastic with ready smiles and greetings every time you met one of them. Poolside bar area is clean and the staff are great. We will be back.

Nice apartments but very dated and in need of refurbishment. (Looks like some rooms were refurbished), safe available in room at €2 a day. Flooring damaged, marks on walls, mould in shower, sink cracked, fridge freezer dirty and damaged in areas, cupboards in kitchen damaged, TV didn't work until I fixed aerial. Rubbish under the bed, shaver left on a shelf, dirty and dusty fan, housekeeping not great. Fans in the rooms very good better than aircon. 3 clean pools very cold though with life guards, not big but not busy either. There are no issues with sun loungers and signs saying no reserving but this did happen not sure if they'd remove towels in busy times. Pool bar & restaurant available with good prices, polite staff and good range. Breakfast, dinner & evening meal available at a cost, not expensive. Wednesday unlimited BBQ €15 very good. Reception staff polite and attentive. Gym available. No availability of rooms for late check out but booked shower room which was adequate for change on last day, available locked cases room after check out. Location approx 10-15 minutes walk but down 100 steps (there is a ramp). Taxis readily available for return of required.

A Decent Budget Stay at Hip Hotel Le Geria We stayed at Hip Hotel Le Geria in April while meeting family, and overall, it was a decent experience for a budget getaway. Lanzarote isn’t typically my go-to destination, but the hotel offered enough to keep us entertained, even with the weather being a bit hit and miss. The hotel itself had plenty to do, which was a plus, though I found the food to be pretty average. The service around the pool area was good, but I was a bit disappointed that floats couldn’t be used for sunbathing. The location was definitely one of the highlights. It’s close to the airport, the beach, and a selection of shops and bars. While it was relatively quiet during our stay, I imagine the area would be bustling during high season. A short taxi ride to the main strip opened up a variety of restaurants, bars, and live entertainment options, which added to the experience. Overall, while the hotel didn’t blow me away, it was perfectly acceptable for a budget-friendly getaway. If you’re looking for a convenient, affordable stay with decent amenities and proximity to local attractions, Hip Hotel Le Geria is worth considering.

1/5 Terrible This hotel does NOT have a spa as advertised. We were not informed that the spa was under renovation prior to arriving. We were only informed at check in only because i requested to book in for treatments amd for access to the spa facilities. The hotel had partnered up with a local spa which was also not finished, partially painted, jacuzzi freezing cold and not on, sauna warm not hot with broken time dial, relaxtion rooms filled with buckets and mops. We informed the hotel of this and i have been emailing the manager since retuning home all of whom were apologetic but did nothing really to help. You cannot advertise as having facilities and then shake off any responsibilities when you direct us somewhere that is also unfinished. The food at the hotel was rubbish - flavourless. The pool was cold. The bathroom constantly had flies. Save your money and book a different hotel - there are plenty down the beach with proper spa facilities, better food, are cleaner and with better trained staff. WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! WASTE OF MONEY. In response to your reply - if it was carefully selected why was it half painted, broken and dirty. As we were rushed out maybe others just left after their treatments and didn't use the spa circuit like you said we would have unlimited access to on the day of our treatment (surprise also not true we had an hour.) #YouDontCare

Why is it impossible to book for next December... I stayed in your hotel December 2023 & said I give it one more try as the bar & floor staff are so ignorant it would put anyone off staying... Plus on checkout day you loose your band the second you check out & yet we arrived late on our first day when we payed for 7 days all inclusive but yet only got 5 days as lost out on first day & got band taken on last day...

Nicely located, between playa del Carmen and playa Matagorda. Simple rooms with a huge balcony overlooking the sea. The beach is just in front of the hotel. The staff is very helpful and perfect, particularly Kellian at the restaurant. The breakfast is amazing with a lot of choice, and if you booked half board, the dinner buffet has a lot of choice, everything is very tasty. I highly recommend this place for unforgettable holidays.

Stayed here in the off season so it was very quiet but still very enjoyable. Choice of two pools and the rooms were spacious and had a lovely view of the pool and ocean in the distance. Staff were friendly and the hotel is located between old town and new so is an ideal location. Only had breakfast in the place as I dined out most evenings but breakfast was nice. Stayed at the above location with my husband and toddler. Sometimes IT IS BEST to read AND ACKNOWLEDGE what guests reviews are before staying!!!! Would love to give this place no stars at all except it won't let me submit my review without giving it a star. On arrival, we were greeted by an apparent non english speaking receptionist, who gave us no information whatsoever, and we later found out she has perfect english Cleaning was way below standards when it was done(my toddler would have done a better job) When we left the do not disturb sign up, the cleaners still barged in to do the cleaning, even when we said our toddler was sleeping Please be advised to not leave anything of value out on display when you leave as they seem to grow legs and disappear. We reported valuables missing and nothing was done about it, my husband spent the day in the police station to report this incident. Where do i start! On my last night in above location with my wife and child and to say our experience has been rude, below standard and has made us decide never to return to el dorado... On arriving our receptionist who " greeted" us claimed to have no english what so ever but was caught out speaking fluent to other guest in reception later in week and the "little" english she did speak she managed to tell us on our arrival she was fed up and not her problem.. wow! Cleaning(and i use the word loosely) was a joke. Forget do not disturb signs, even when our 1 year old was napping...means nothing to the cleaners. Barged in on more than 1 occasion. They choose their cleaning days and of what apartments of their own choice and as for valuables..LOCK UP!!! I spent a monday evening in a local police station filing a report on missing valuables from apartment. Hopefully insurance covers it as hotel"management" had no interest on my report.. The only good thing about this hotel/apartments was its location so my advice is you is get the address of area and book another one around it. U can check my past reviews on any resort. Made numerous attempts to see manager and was always told "not here" try tomorrow, which i did, to be told "not here" I have stayed in lanzorote a number of years among other holiday destinations and have NEVER felt as strongly to ever post a review. Would not return again and wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. Just returned. Cleaning very poor and general upkeep is of low standard. The staff at reception were so rude. Wouldn't hurt to smile and make people feel welcome. On our last day trees were being cut by the pool area as people were trying to relax and there was twigs ,dirt and dust everywhere. There were also alot of cockroaches for my liking around the area. We will definitely not be returning.

Great apartments, really big and the 2 beds have 2 large bathrooms with showers. Can be steep with steps and ramps if mobility is an issue. Location is great as close to the strip, shopping centre and only 5 to 10 mins from old town for a change of scenery.

Staff are very friendly and courteous. We were upgraded to a Seaview apartment on our arrival. Rooms are very clean. No air-conditioning, but there's ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room. We got a double bed which was very comfortable. The pool is a bit small and very deep (1.9m for none swimmers). The pool area is very quiet at this time of year, as there aren't any children about. Sunbeds aren't a problem. A few more wouldn't go astray . Parasols are in short supply and also in need of some TLC. Wifi is readily available but is shockingly slow. (Not fit for purpose in this day and age). Lots of steps: It is split over 3 levels, so it could be problematic if you are bad on your feet. You can use a mobility scooter, but you have to use a back street gate, and it's like a maze to find your way to reception to park up. Location in fantastic, just on the main strip and across the road from the beach.

Stayed for 2 weeks and it was absolutely lovely.. Rooms were always clean, location was perfect, just a walk away from all the restaurants and shops. Had a problem with the water and it was sorted within the hour, anything we needed help with, someone was there to show us. The Pools are close to all the rooms and there's even a snack bar if you fancy buying food there and staying round the pool for the day. Beach is on the front, which is a 5 minute walk and a park for the kids. These Bungalows aren't modern, but they don't need to be, they are perfect and don't need changing. Maybe a little paint in places, but otherwise great. We will definitely be coming back here to stay! It was worth every penny and my little big loved it.

Great place to stay. Out of the main town enough for peace and quiet but a 40min (flat) walk along the beach to town or a 10min bus ride for countless bars, restaurants and atmosphere. Staff were great. Hire your car from reception and they'll sort it out for you within the hour if before 1pm. Couldn't be any easier. Loads of bars and choices to eat in the complex too. 2min to the beach. What more can you ask?😎

I stayed in this property last week (June 2024). The property is amazing and cozy. The staff is super friendly and love to help their guests. Rooms were very clean and the apartment was very spacious. Location is amazing too and very close to the beach. Taxi station is like 2 mins walking from the hotel. Overall I loved my stay at this property. Staff is very kind too, I had a late flight to catch after my checkout at 12 pm, They allowed me to store my luggage and also allowed me to shower while leaving the hotel later.

The cleaning staff keep the place spotlessly clean as do the gardener's always doing something around the grounds, the bungalows themselves are rather dated and the outdoor furniture could do with a good scrub down, but we're making the best of our 10 days here, towels are only changed every 2 days and cleaning is done 5 out of 7 days but we only had to ask for anything and the staff would accommodate, would we come back here, yes we would, would we recommend this to others absolutely, super clean basic accommodation in an excellent quiet location of Matagorda Lanzarote.

We are currently staying here, for the second time so a good time for a review. Decent well equipped rooms, very well cleaned by friendly housekeeping staff. Grounds are also very nice and well maintained. Bad points- apartment doors are not soft closure so you lie in bed listening to crash , bang as doors are slammed closed along the line. SMOKING - There is a sign outside the main reception saying no smoking, and no ashtrays seem to be on the balconies which is very good. Despite this people are smoking around the pool, on some balconies and next to the open breakfast room, sharing their disgusting habit with the whole breakfast area, and rooms nearby. It would be nice to sit outside for breakfast, but a few smokers ruin that idea. SUGGESTION - clearly identify the hotel as non smoking throughout, and enforce it, and use this as a marketing aid. Watch your bookings grow further! Sort out the smoking and soft door closures and this would be a 5 star review. Thanks.

Fabulous apartments. Pros, fab staff , lovely pretty pool area. Swanky new sunbathing deck, sauna, quite, any problems were addressed straight away. Towels provided for pool. Cons , no air conditioning, you can rent a unit but its very loud. Hardly no kids so probably more adult aimed. No floaties , no balls in pool , could be a pro if your not a child . They are very disability friendly. Spotlessly clean . Over all lovely apartments.

Lovely, clean, and very quiet place. We will be returning here for sure. Shop and restaurants are so close, but it's not in the busy area. Very close to the beach. The apartments are very nice and clean. Kitchen fully equipped, so the guests can cook for themselves everything. Bar, they have great maybe the price is not the lowest but the food are great!! They have amazing cook. At least for October, the place was just perfect. We will see how it will be in another month, next time.

Probably one of the nicest self catering apartments we have ever stayed at, compact and not over crowded. Staff, rooms and pool area all perfect. Great service from the baily bar and happy hour was a nice bonus. Filtered water in the room was also a nice touch. Only area that could be improved is when the pool was quiet (ie when only our kids were in the pool) the life guard could have been more flexible with the rules about toys in the pool, but saying that we will be back.

From the amazing pool bar to the celebration evenings, everything was perfect! A lovely, peaceful stay was had here. Not too overcrowded and nice and clean. The breakfast was good for a 3 star hotel, and the staff friendly and attentive. The pool is clean and quiet, and some entertainment was laid on for the guests too. No rushes to get a sunbed and no screaming children. I would recommend this to couples seeking a peaceful escape away from the more busier and crowded hotels that we had passed.

The look when you pull up was questionable but as soon as you got into the reception area it was beautiful as was the rest of the hotel. Great family hotel. Overlooking the beach. Food choices are limited but if you're happy with bread and butter and plain meats you'll be fine. Also available were fresh salad, meats and cheeses plus variety of puddings including cakes, jelly and ice cream. I liked the variety of meat and vegetable dishes but rest of my family weren't keen. Bar/dining staff were a bit rude at times but could just be a language barrier, some were very helpful. Great location for quiet holiday, 15min walk to the nearest decent supermarket but almost completely flat walk and choice of road or beach paths. Mini disco on a night for younger (up to age 10) kids, singers and performers for evening entertainment. We were hoping for a bingo night but no luck! Pool is cold but kids aren't bothered! Housekeeping is top level, daily beds made and bins emptied and fresh towels as required. Would recommend for families.

Lovely receptionist got our holiday off to a great start with a superb mention. We had no issues with our check in and were in our second floor room before we knew it. Watch out for the room doors, which are stiff and easy to inadvertently leave open. The room was spacious and had a kettle, fridge and desk. The sea view was impressive and we had regular visits from parrots which were almost tame. Being all inclusive, the food was OK but repetitive and labelling was very poor indeed. We couldn't see a menu and often it was guesswork when it came to some of the offerings. Allergy warnings on individual plates were non existent, so if a coeliac this is probably not for you. Unlike most all inclusive, it didn't seem rammed at any time and while there was the usual free for all at the start of meal times, it was generally OK. Outside the loungers are easy to find, and there are shaded areas with seats and tables for those who want to hide from the sun. During the day, all drinks come from one pool bar, which to be honest is a real pain. Summing up, I would suggest much more labelling of food, menus on the door, and help yourself soft drinks for all inclusive guests. Cleanliness not a problem, but with an average guest age of probably 60 odd, it's a hotel for those seeking calm.

This hotel is an absolute gem if you know what to expect. The food here is not too fancy but the personnel is EXTREMELY friendly, trying to make a joke or two. The rooms, although not fancy are extremely well and timely (!) cleaned The hotel is located slightly off-centre but well within walking distance of everything, a supermarket for forgotten items (We all do that!) is just opposite My only slightly posh complaint is that liquors are not included in All inclusive but with a discount still are a bargain Two points of advice / suggestions * cash only at bars is a bit 1990, card terminals would be more 2024 * Is your hotel maybe a bit too cheap and would a slightly higher price enable slightly better food quality options? (where are the raw paprika's/peppers?) WE WILL DEFINATELY be back here!

Good value for money, food was pleasant especially breakfast there was always something to choose from. Loved the pool. Only negative is could of done with a fan in the room as pretty warm at night. Had 5 days there with my boy, had to have cash for a 1€ cup that you have to guard with your life and take each time you have a drink, 10€ for the remote for air con! Yes you get them back but you never get told! Never saw pool towels and evening entertainment! Where was it as I only heard a singer 1 night! 1 toilet per gender for the restaurant and pool! That didn’t even lock! Next to no sun beds and they were so dirty! Food! Well evening meal wasn’t edible! Could just cope with breakfast and lunch! Could be an amazing place with right manager and money behind! Never would I put that at a 4*! Been to better 2* in my teens! Thank god for Omar the bar man and the friends we met! Great location tho!

I was surprised at how pleasant the hotel was after reading negative reviews. The staff are lovely and work extremely hard. Great experience with the hotel arranging car hire which was dropped off and picked up. Rooms very basic like reviews have mentioned but very clean. We stayed AI and the food was better than the reviews made out. Breakfast was fine bacon not so but plenty of fruit, yogurts, bread and porridge. Lunch/dinner fine chef daily cooking meat on the grill not mentioned in any reviews. Local alcohol spirits tasted weak but can pay a small charge for premium. Great location also had meals out and on day trips exploring the whole Island. Like other reviews would say this is a good 3* and perfect for families on a budget. However, we hadn't paid thousands so didn't expect 4* or 5* Overall we had a better than expected experience after reading such negative reviews.

Wow. What can we say. An amazing holiday from start to the end. From the moment we arrived the staff were courteous and supportive. Wheelchair access is perfect and convenient. The rooms aren’t massive but perfect for two people for a week. The hotel is spotless and cleaned thoroughly. Rooms cleaned every other day. Air con is €10 to hire and refundable. The drinks glasses are €1 but also refundable. The food is great. Something suitable for everyone Good selection of drinks on the all inclusive. Close to the town although quiet and not noisy. Close to the supermarket to get every day supplies. Cannot recognise hotel enough. Will definitely return

We enjoyed our week at Bluesea Lanzarote Palm. The staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful. We were in rooms 57 and 58, beds very comfortable and very clean. The sofas aren't the comfiest but we were on the balconies most of the time so not the biggest problem. We were all inclusive. Drinks wise we aren't big drinkers so only had a few g +ts which were nice. The food, breakfast basic cooked and contential. Lunch and Dinner, we always found something we liked but could do with more variety. There was only evening entertainment 1 night while we were there and the bar was always pretty quiet. The pool area was kept clean and we always found a sunbed when we wanted one. The pool was a little chilly but fine once you were in. Location, the hotel is a 5-10 walk down to the main strip and beach. We did enjoy our walks down and gave us some exercise but it is a bit of a walk back up the hill, good for the calf muscles. The staff and the cleanliness of hotel are the big plus points. We would definitely stay again.

It was a holiday in paradise I felt like a , the staff always made you feel welcomed. Nothing too much ! Plenty of choice of food apartments spacious clean and a cleaner 6 days a week apart from Wednesday s as it was their day off and right gully so. We could only buy half board or bed and breathing. At night at yhe bar is entertainment if you want it. Reasonable bar prices too. There is a breakfast and dinner buffet , all you can eat. Local Hippo supermarket at great prices around the corner. Down the hill is the harbour with cafe s and restaurants. Up the hill was the barbers shops and a shopping mall. Plenty of taxis and bus stop a minute walk from the hotel.

My wife and l had a very pleasant ,10 night stay at the Vik San Antonio 02-12 January. The location,staff,and the hotel itself were all very nice, nice food and good entertainment. Negative reviews seem to focus on the advanced ages of most of the clients but although l fit into that category l found it was a nice mix of ages including plenty of young children just after Christmas. People need to read the reviews before they book and not trash the hotel because of it's clients ages. We had a great time and will be returning.

Please stay away from here holiday from hell like you see on tv , I paid £5500 for all inclusive and you still have to pay for potato crisps and ice lollipops etc. it’s a retirement home 90 percent of the people are over 70 years old the entertainment is crap. I paid extra for a superior room absolute waste of money tiny , outdated . Everyone has fallen sick , which looks like food poisoning. Me and my partner had and were stuck in bed for nearly 5 days , ended up going to a uk doctor to gets meds which cost 200 euros . Where heading home today which am looking forward to . Oh and another thing, two male waiters in the dining area they have bald heads , there two ignorant men a smile would kill them. Please stay away and keep healthy.

I had half board & personally next time would just eat locally (as walking distance to town). But see appeal of full board especially as service quicker. Nice pool & beach. Terrible experience, will never be near this hotel again it's put me of holidays, look forward to a holiday all year to end up sick with some sort of food poisoning along with majority of the other residents. Has been a waste of time money and caused a lot of stress & anxiety! We went with jet 2 who should have advised us that it's a much older clientele. Luckily most of them were lovely but also sick, definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Has caused me so much distress I don't think I'll be going on any holidays in the near future, I hope there's some kind of compensation available, who wants to spend 9 days of a 10 day holiday in bed throwing up?!!! Not to mention the emotional distress, I'm absolutely disappointed beyond words!!!

Sadly not POC friendly, had a few racist interactions with staff, treated completely differently then rest of the guests. Definitely NOT a 4* maybe it was in the 70s but the interior is extremely dated and run down, mould in the bathroom, dusty worn out rooms with filthy soft furnishings. The hotel is NOT family friendly, the average age of all clientele is 80 and they are the only ones catered to especially for food and evening entertainment. The food is terrible, we left every meal hungry and filling up on bread - a lot of pork and boiled potato - couldn't of been more disappointed for the price we paid. Also no food available between 4-6pm. Advertised as having heated pools but they're pretty cold and with nothing for in them, not even the kids pool. All families we interacted with said the same, just extremely uncomfortable, not relaxing or welcoming, definitely not somewhere we'd come back to sadly - I have a disabled baby that's spent the holidays in the hospital so we really wanted to go away as a family for a break but this was anything but. We all were ready to go home after the first night, we tried to move hotels but all were booked as its new years, never looked forward to going home so much.

We were really happy with our stay. The hotel is central, not too far a walk down to the strip at all (massive plus point for me) - the rooms are clean and really spacious and are cleaned 5 days out of 7, there plenty sunbeds available (could be doing with more parasols though) there is entertainment around the pool with the fabulous Alex, a real credit to the hotel. Food wise we were happy also, a good bit of variety at the buffet each meal, each day something different. Would not hesitate to recommend and would absolutely stay here again

Well, what shall I say... target audience is probably looking for affordable vacay at a nice spot and if that's you, you're in a good place. Literally, as location is indeed spot on - best beach, all the restaurants and bars you want next door. But I wouldn't choose all-inclusive necessarily, food's pretty basic, and drinks...let's not talk about it. Staff is nice tho, rooms are spacious and very clean and feature a kitchenette. So if cooking is your thing - probably good spot. Overall: come for the location, sun, not for the food or luxury.

Myself and my two teenager children had a great time at Relaxia Lanzaplaya. The hotel and rooms were very clean and the food was lovely. All inclusive can be a bit repetitive but the dishes were cooked really well. Alex, the entertainment man was hilarious and made our holiday! He made everyone laugh constantly and we missed him if he wasn't around! He entertained the hotel single handedly. The only downsides to the hotel were there was only the pool bar you could sit around on the night and the bar in the hotel was closed. It would have been nice to have that bar open for somewhere different to go. Also, there weren't many umbrellas by the pool so you did have to get up early if you wanted one. The location was great right near the bars and restaurant and beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

After spending 7 nights at this hotel I am sorry to say save your money. My friend and I asked to change rooms as soon as we saw ours, room 111 when we arrived on Monday 25 Nov 2024. We had to wait till Wednesday before we got a better room. The rooms were dated with rust around the edges of the bathroom mirror. Access to the shower involved climbing into a deep bath, not for the elderly. The hotel entertainment left a lot to be desired. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The mattresses on the beds in our second room 206 dipped in the middle and we had to turn them over and around to get a decent nights sleep. The food was mostly okay, however, I started with sickness and diarrhoea at 6 am Sunday 1 Dec, I spent the last day of my holiday in bed just drinking water. I could not risk being ill on the plane coming home the next day. I would not in all honesty recommend this hotel. Thank goodness the weather was good.

Just returned from a week stay at this hotel. Had an amazing time. Rooms are clean and attention to fresh towels and bed linen great. Sometimes the room cleaning service a little late in day getting done which can be a bit frustrating if you like a siesta in the afternoon. The range of food is very good. Over my week stay I never had same meal twice. Food could be hotter but I suppose it’s very difficult. I was travelling alone so preferred to stay in hotel at night. The entertainment was good, especially when hosted by the amazing “Dumi”….what a character! He had the whole place laughing, having fun and relaxing with each other. Special thanks to him for making my stay so enjoyable. Well done everyone at Hotel Pocillos. I will definitely return.

Excellent hotel. Just on the outskirts of Puerto del Carmen about half an hour walk to there but go other way to Matagorda about 15 minutes Hotel is adults only which makes it a really lovely place to sit back and relax. Aida the entertainer is lovely we joined in which is something I never do but she made it feel very comfortable and by doing this we got to know the other people which was great and ended up meeting up later for a drink. It was my birthday while we were out there and the hotel left me a bottle of bubbly in our room which was a nice touch. All in all excellent hotel will definitely be going back

We have paid good price for this holiday and you don't expect the hotel to run out and no delivery of as yet cos just checked at the reception 3.1.2025.

The hotel is well located to all restaurants and bars. The food is very good and the hotel is spotless.The entertainment team makes the hotel they all work very hard to make your holiday. The entertainment in the hotel is ok, but the show the entertainment team performs on a Thursday night is outstanding. Franklin is so professional in what he does in the show. Jenni and Raquel are in the kids' club, and they are fantastic with the kids. You can tell that all three of them want to make you have the best holiday. I would definitely return to this hotel as we were made to feel so welcome by the whole entertainment team.

Hotel is OK but a bit dated, and the restaurant has more of a cafeteria feel rather than a 4* hotel dining room. The food was fine, although it got a bit boring after a few days because there wasn't much variation. The sunbeds need re-covering and they could do with toilets near the pool rather than only 2 public toilets in the hotel itself. The location however is great - you can see the sea at the end of the road and it's an easy, flat walk to beach, shops and amenities

About 20 mins (by taxi) from the airport, 300 metres from the beach the hotel is ina great location. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the entertainment is great and the facilities within the complex are brilliant. The food is delicious, lots of local and traditional dishes as well as other European food. We stayed in a superior room overlooking the main pool area and the views of the sunsets were beautiful. It was clean and well maintained, traditional. While we were there the entertainment team hosted evening parties, live music and a fire breathing show, something different every night. During the day there was archery, pool and table tennis. Lots of space and sun loungers round the main pool as well as two others to choose from. We had a great time and would love to come back 🥰

Well my Bluetooth earbuds which I used on the plane only and then left in my bedroom were taken from my room . I have rung the hotel numerous times each time told to ring back to speak to the cleaner. And never received the callback they said they would arrange. I had seen on a few previous reviews of money stolen so we kept our money with us at all times. Lucky that we did really ,after having the buds taken. On the Hotel itself I don't think it could have been more laid back, I suppose the clue is in the name really. We expected more festivity for being there over the Christmas period but a quick visit from a staff member in a Santa outfit seemed to be it. We have been to Lanzarote many times in different areas at Christmas. Every time other year in other Hotels ,also 4star .Father Christmas visited on a camel music blaring everyone following behind them photo ops and gifts for the kids. The drinks were so full of sugar ( I love sweet drinks) the first night we all woke up after one cocktail with banging heads. The food was varied enough but never hot. Christmas Dinner was nice as we the choice of which time we wanted of the 2 sittings and we had our own table with our name on.Any other time the closest to hot food was the morning omelette made to request. Though god help anyone who didn't talk to one of the women making them . I saw her be rude on many occasions to people who were just trying to look at the food and not at her. Younger Lady was lovely on this grill though. Big tip from us to the Hotel, make sure you always have gravy for the meals as the meat was very dry at times. Some of the staff on Christmas Eve Night left to spend Christmas with their Families which was lovely of the Hotel and they were so happy when we saw them outside. All in all we feel like Christmas passed us by this year which is such a shame when you consider you've saved to go away then and make it a special time for your family. From the average entertainment and lack of comfort of the beds I'd say 3 star to be honest. And when the dirty great big cockroach fell from the hanger my dress was on onto my arm I had just about had enough. I did find it and and enclose the beast for proof. We ended up eating out a lot. Local area is reasonably priced. We made great friends with the Hotel cats. Named by my Family as Wonky, Bertha , Lobby cat and B2, smoky .

My wife and I spent 17 nights from 19. November staying at this terrific hotel. On arriving we were greeted with a lovely glass of fizz. A slight problem was highlighted with our travel agent having only booked 15 nights. Not a problem for fantastic reception staff and Sebastian set to work on sorting it out . Within hours our booking was corrected a massive thanks to Sebastian for sorting it out so we could stay in the same room for the extra 2 nights👏. A real star. We stayed in the standard room on the ground floor and a real bonus was the 2 sun loungers on our patio. Rooms were spotless, bed was large and comfortable and room cleaned every day with fresh towels supplied. Safe in the room was 20€ returned on checking out. We booked 1/2 board and can’t speak highly enough as the food was restaurant quality. Breakfast was fruit,breads,pastries cereals with followed by a hot breakfast where you could order whatever you wanted. Omelette,any type of egg,bacon,sausage,mushrooms,hash browns and beans which was served at your table. Dinner was a 3 course from a set menu plus a specials board to choose from. Staying 17 nights we tried everything and cannot find anything to say on the quality,portions and choice except that it was fantastic. If I was to name the staff in the restaurant I would need to compliment every one of them as they were friendly efficient and made our stay really enjoyable. A big thank you to them all for making our stay a terrific experience. Location is 600 yards uphill from the strip which wasn’t an issue but if you felt the need for a taxi they are plentiful. We never found the need. Pools were clean and plenty loungers as a lot of guests used the loungers on the patio/balconies. Public places were cleaned continuously and communal toilets spotless. Even though it was November there was entertainment most nights if you didn’t fancy the tribute acts and singers on the strip.. On speaking to other guests it was clear they were regulars coming back each year.. In summary having travelled abroad for 50 years this is by far the best hotel we have visited. It’s hard to believe but the reviews are correct it’s 10/10.

Beautiful hotel, lovely and clean, staff super helpful and friendly. Breakfast selection excellent, never had to wait for table. No hogging beds around the pool. Entertainment not great and location up a little hill, was not problem to us but if you have a mobility issue it could be. Loads of places to eat and drink within a 5 min walk. It was our anniversary just before we came and they dressed the room and left us a bottle of fizz, lovely touch. We are already planning on returning

Just home today after spending 20 days in this beautiful hotel, the rooms where very spacious and clean, loved having your own sun loungers at you patio. There was no problem getting sun beds at any time of the day which was great. Breakfast was very nice, had lunch once here which was also very nice. The pool was lovely but very cold as was the jacuzzi. The hotel is on a hill but not to bad, maybe not the best if in a wheelchair. Not many kids at the hotel but to be fair there is not much here for them. I did take my gym wear to use the little gym but did use as to be fair it is not the best but that isn’t a problem. Would definitely go back here again. You also get a bottle of water in your room every day and a bottle of wine on arrival in your fridge.

Spent a week at this hotel in July and loved it, room was very spacious and clean, tea and coffee and water were refilled on a daily basis. The food we had for breakfast was also decent. It’s a great distance from the main strip and beach so easy to find places for food and activities. Would highly recommend.

Great place only problem is it's hard to book a balcony on jet 2 so that's disappointing I emailed direct but no reply from them. Also no room to shower your out the room by 11 even though your flight is 5.45. wouldn't mind paying but it's just not possible so a disappointing end to holiday. Otherwise a nice place .

My partner and I recently stayed at Hotel Las Costas and we had an exceptional time- excellent facilities and provision were complimented by a friendly and attentive staffing team that we will genuinely miss! Without wanting to spoil anything there were some pleasant surprises from the hotel too. We could not recommend this hotel highly enough and, although I don’t know much about it, I’m not sure what is required to take this hotel to five stars! Massive thanks to the hotel for making our holiday memorable for all the right reasons and hopefully see you again

Spent 10days at las Costas , we went half board the food was very good best holiday my husband and I have had for a long time, the hotel was extremely clean and the gardens are well maintained. All the staff were very friendly especially Ellie our cleaner she is very hard working when asked for something it was never a problem for her to sort it out. We have change our holiday dates for next year with our companies, so we can come again as the hotel is closed in July for refurbishment so we have booked in August as we throughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Fantastic hotel! Very clean and the services are also brilliant!, Nancy the cleaner was very polite and always had a lovely smile on her face whenever we bumped into her :) the reception staff too were brilliant, always helpful and friendly! The breakfast had lots of choice and it was well presented :) the pool bar was very clean and the chicken sandwich was excellent also very fresh :) although the fish and chips could do with revising :) definitely enjoyed our stay here we would definitely come back :) the location for the beach and walk to town was brilliant :)

I recently stayed her for the weekend and this is my second time at this hotel. This is the most welcoming amazing hotel. The food is great, the drinks are great, the entertainment is great the staff here are amazing. The lady on the steak/chicken griddle is so lovely and is amazing at cooking a perfect steak. Honestly there is nothing to complain or moan about. It’s lovely and quiet and just perfect for a relaxing break. Thank you to everyone who made my weekend stay relaxing and stress free and I will be back again for many more stays.

Stayed here last year with family. It has got to be one of the best hotels I have ever been in. Lots of guests said they return year in year out because of the food and boy, were they right! Fabulous food, wide variety and cooked right in front of you. Pools were great and loved the pool bar. Hotel is situated right in the centre of a busy area, but you wouldn’t know. The gate opens out to across from the beach. Will definitely be returning with more family members.

This was our second visit, after a wonderful visit to Seaside Los Jameos last year. Once again, we had a lovely stay. Everyone across the hotel, is extremely friendly, helpful and polite. The staff are very attentive and busy all the time, making sure the hotel is well kept and customers are happy. The rooms are kept very clean and some have been updated since we visited last year. Constant cleaning everywhere in the hotel, which shows they understand the importance of keeping this under control in hot climates! The food, as before, offered lots of options through the buffets with different themes every night. The staff in the restaurant are very attentive, albeit a little too keen at times (taking the salt and pepper away while we were still eating!) and not quite as welcoming if you attend dinner after 9pm, which we did on our first night due to late flight arrival (dinner service runs until 9:45pm). The location is great, with a lovely and spacious beach outside the back of the hotel with a number of options for food, souvenir shopping, bike hire and even a useful medical centre which we had to visit during our stay. The pool does get busy and as others have noted, the booking of sunbeds with towels does happen. The hotel does have a policy on this but I'm not sure how much it's enforced as it's very difficult to. We never found an issue finding sunbeds though, despite being later to the pool than most, so I don't think it's an issue. I'm also sure if any customers had a concern, the hotel would address it quickly. As always, a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

The best thing about this hotel is the amazing, friendly, helpful staff! Everyone of them is welcoming and nice. I have stayed in many hotels, mainly Hiltons and they could learn a lot from this hotel. I will definitely be coming back here!

we spent a week at the hotel in October 24 on half board basis. The hotel has been recently refurbished, and the work that has been done is amazing. The hotel looks fantastic, both inside and out. There's a real feel of luxury here, the decor is modern and classy, the pool area is beautiful, and the restaurant is also fitted out to a high standard. The hotel overlooks the beach and sea front. You can hear the waves crashing as you sit on your balcony or when eating at the restaurant. The rooms are also nice, however, the suite, which we had booked, was a bit sterile, the bedroom was great with fantastic wardrobe and storage, the bathroom was also well appointed but the living area was just a bit bland, a bit more effort here really would have made the whole experience feel nearly 5 stars. There is a gym onsite also, which is basic but clean and has enough to get you by for a week. The staff were all really nice and helpful. The pool area is not equipped with enough sunbeds for the number of guests. Many times, we arrived after breakfast and could not find a pair of sun loungers together where we could relax by the pool. Most of the sun loungers are reserved with towels by guests from early in the morning, We observed loungers not being used for 5 or 6 hours some days, but the towels were not removed by staff to allow others to use the loungers. On 2 of the 7 nights, the food was really good. The remaining nights, the food was just average. There are areas of the hotel that are reserved for "select" customers. To avail of the select areas, you must pay an additional 70 euro/PP/per day. There are no coffee making facilities provided in the rooms. Again, you can pay an additional 5 euro/day for a machine to be provided. For a hotel of this quality, you would expect coffee/tea making facilities to be included. The hotel is not cheap, one week on half board for 2 persons will cost you around 2K. the hotel does look like a 4 Star Hotel, but the negative aspects we experienced would reduce this to a 3.5-star experience.

Great hotel. Visited mid/late July 2024 on bed and breakfast basis. Great selection of food, everything very clean, friendly staff across the board, no issues with sunbeds (we went up to the "solarium" which is adults only and for 10 days we had circa 30 sun beds and a shower to ourselves. Generally fairly quiet noise wise when we stayed. Very easy access to a great public beach and right at the start of the Puerto del Carmen strip so no shortage of bars, restaurants and shops. Good snorkelling very close by as well. Cannot fault anything.

The ventilation system during the day is annoying. Another ventilation system coming from the kitchen (dixit reception) started every night at 3 AM, we found really disruptive & noisy, stayed in room 550. Positive : good location, spacious suite with separate bedroom, nice terrace & good full breakfast.

Breakfast was nice as was dinner a small selection but it's enough. It was my birthday and the staff gave me an extra surprise in my room. This is a lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dissapointing points of the hotel to us was the pool and the lack of amenities. The pool is more of a cooling off pool, it is not a swimming pool as not deep enough, only one side of the pool is suitable for a swim. We arrived off the plane and by the time we had got checked in and showed to our room it was early evening. We decided to go for a drink after out full travel day only to find the main bar didnt open until 6.30pm and the pool bar closed at 6.00.pm. As we were still in our travel gear we really didn't feel like sitting by the pool and especially as we didn't have long enough to enjoy it. We arent big drinkers at all but a nice long cool drink would been lovely after a days travelling. The hotel is well situated but if you go to the main bars on the resort, it is uphill on the way back. The breakfast bars were very well stocked and a good choice. There was the usual people saving sun loungers by the pool early morning and no idea why as plenty of loungers. Not what we expect from a boutique hotel. The staff will go out their way to provide a good service for you tho but for us we won't go back. Lovely hotel and rooms but lacking on amenities.

Unfortunately this hotel didn't live up to the expectations based on the category and the price and pretty much everything was disappointing in quality. Starting with the room, it was spacious but had a completely dark bedroom as it had no window. The bed was very firm and was not nicely decorated. The bedroom actually resembled more a 3* basic kind of accomodation. The bathroom was strangely designed with the toilet basically blocking the exit from the shower. The shower was leaking, the bathroom was never cleaned very well and there were constantly nasty spots on the glass and mirrors. The buffet restaurant was surprisingly bad, the food was simple and plain and very repeatable. Also the a la carte dishes were low quality and disappointing. At breakfast the staff was constantly struggling to keep up with the arriving guests and orders as if they were severely understaffed. The coffee seemed to be different every day, depending who happened to make it, once we had to wait about 30 min to get our coffee. One evening we had dinner at Kentia restaurant where hotel guests with HB get a discount. Again, this place was also disappointing, the dishes looked much better on the menu than in reality once served. It's definitely not a fine dining experience that the restaurant promises and it's very overpriced even after the discount. I also booked a massage at the hotel spa which honestly was the worst spa visit I've ever had. First, when I arrived on time, the spa was closed and no one inside. Upon notifying the reception, they called and assured me someone was coming. The 2 ladies finally showed up and offered a quick apology but the massage therapist was obviously completely new as the other woman had to explain her everything. The massage was very bad, one of the worst I've had. Afterwards I wasn't even offered a tea or anything to drink. This experience just further confirmed the pattern of low quality at this hotel. I do not recommend it.

Food is excellent and variety of eggs at breakfast is fantastic. Only downside is the steep hill to get to the Old Town, however a taxi is 3 euros. We will definitely be back

Stunning hotel. Greeted by warm and friendly reception staff, offering us a cold glass of fizz on arrival. The hotel, restaurant and pool were spotlessly clean. Staff were all very friendly. The rooms are spacious with everything you could need. The pool was perfect, shallow and warm, with plenty of double beds around it and on the chill out terrace to relax. The breakfast was incredible, fresh, tasty and everything you could want and more. The restaurant manager (Reuben) and all the staff always made us very welcome. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Plus there are some great restaurants in the area, including Antonio’s, a few minutes walk away

Just spent a week in this fabulous hotel. Wonderful sea view room thanks to Stella. Cannot give enough praise to the friendly staff especially to Elisa who always stopped for a chat every day. The rooms are spotless and nothing is missed. We were bed and breakfast but ended up eating most of the week in the buffet restaurant which has a great choice from vegetarians to meat and fish eaters. We will certainly be returning

Second day here at this immaculate stylish hotel which is in a very good location. My main concern is the restaurant. The showcase food is all very good but is greatly let down with the bowls of food under the heat lights that are cool and sparse. The hotel should seriously consider making microwaves available so guests can heat up their food to a reasonable temperature. Also the staff in the restaurant seem exasperated and you will be told where to sit so that it makes it easier for them to set up for the breakfast while you are supposedly having a relaxing evening meal. Also managed to stop my wife from cutting her mouth on badly chipped blue glass for the water. Now on day four, Jet2 representative has been in touch to say that we should have had robes and slippers in our room when we arrived, we were told by reception that you only get these if you ask for them. We were supposed to get a dinner in the a'lacart restaurant, but there was no mention of this when we checked in, once again we had to chase this up. This is a Jet2 Indulgent Escapes, supposed to be five star treatment, it is a very uncomfortable stay. The final night in the restaurant was the same as earlier in the week and I was fully justified with my previous comments, so many people complaining in full view of all the guests. Not a five star experience, Jet2 Indulgent Escapes, its certainly not.

A very good option in Lanzarote. The hotel is modern and new. The service is great, everyone is very attentive and make you feel like home. It has parking which is a plus, as renting a car is a must in the island. Buffet is good, not a lot of variety but quality food. There’s a food theme every night which means food options change daily. Overall really recommend this hotel!

My wife and I went for a week and had a fantastic time. As others have said, as soon as you step into the hotel youknow you are in good hands. The design is modern but cosy, the rooms (and beds!) are super comfortable, and the food really delicious. Above all though is the service - everyone there clearly enjoys their job and wants to make sure all guests have a good time. A special call out to Silvia and Miguel at the pool who were friendly, efficient and always ready with advice and a conversation. Many of the people we spoke to had been multiple times - that's just the kind of place it is.

Wow. What an amazing stay we had here. From when we arrived the service was first class. We were welcomed by Mario, who was an absolute star who couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel itself was outstanding with a beautiful ambiance. We had no problems at all finding sun loungers and did not need to rush to reserve. All the staff from the breakfast restaurant, Bar lounge, and pool service, especially Sylvia were amazing. Our room had a beautiful view and the sound of the ocean was like nothing else. We also upgraded to a junior suite for our last night as it was my husbands birthday and it was worth every penny. We can’t thank you all enough for making our holiday so special and look forward to booking our next one.

We are just back from 5 days at this wonderful hotel. It was an oasis of calm we absolutely loved it and will be returning next year! Staff are fantastic the hotel is spotless, and the maids do a tremendous job. This is a perfect hotel for couples so relaxing. Loved every single minute. The breakfast is the best I've had in any hotel anywhere! The massage was wonderful! We had a fantastic sea view.

Location is fabulous right on beech. Pool & sun-bed areas are excellent great choice and not on top of One another and can find your own little corner to sit if needed. The hotel is just perfect! It is very stylish and full of art. The tropical garden is a green oasis and a nice contrast to the dry volcano island. The restaurants and bar offers high quality food and cocktails. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful.
