Very poor accommodation - the only thing going for it is the staff on reception and the location. Not even clean. Rotting wood round the door frames, tiles not washed, cupboards dirty and almost falling apart, smells of drains. I could go on but basically it's well past it's sell by date. We are OK with dated but this is substandard. I think the staff try but they are battling against the poor quality/old damaged furnishings. Bedsheets and towels were clean. We can't comment on food/drinks as we didn't use the bar or restaurant.

Honest review of this hotel after reading many mixed reviews. Location is fabulous right in the old town, about 15 min walk to promenade, there are steps (quite a lot) to get to hotel or there is an incline walk for those able. We are couple late 20s/early 30s and this did not bother us. The hotel itself, we found it very clean, pool was cleaned most if not every morning, it is very cold. As we went mid October we had loads of loungers and parasols so this wasn't an issue for us and pool bar is also ok for drinks and snacks. Breakfast is very good value, we stayed self catering and enquired about breakfast on arrival for the 2 of us for the week was €44! Couldn't believe it and good selection of hot, cold, fruits, yogurts etc. so definitely recommend this. The rooms, yes dated, beds not the best, we found 3 cockroaches throughout our stay in the bathroom. The biggest thing for us was the lack of air con, the fans in the room were just awful. I genuinely don't know how people survive this in the summer months. So a few nights no sleep for us with the heat as it was unbearable. The shower was very powerful and loads of hot water. Nice chairs and table in the small balcony. Would I stay again? No - Only on the pretense of air con. The hotel is generally good and if you're not expecting much from a 3* hotel and you don't mind sweating at night 🤣 then go for it!

we stopped over Christmas, it was last minute so there wasn't much left. we booked breakfast on arrival that worked out at only £3 each a day, it was basic but decent, everything you needed, warm and well cooked. right the hotel needs some serious renovation's, its really dated and hasn't had any money spent on it in years! they really need to rip down all the horrible holey yellow curtains, looks like somebody has been chain smoking solid for 10 years! it does smell like weed most days but that's not the hotels fault! we only booked self catering so for what we needed it was ok, to sleep and a base to enjoy Puerto del carmen, we spent most of our time at the beach and walking. the pool is absolutely freezing, on arrival there was 5 black ducks in the pool haha. the good points, location is absolutely fantastic, the views if you book a room with a view is the best view we've ever had in any hotel we've ever stopped in, room was cleaned 3 times in 7 days with fresh towels when needed. unfortunately there's no lifts so its about 150+ steps, so if you're not good on your feet or have little ones and prams then these rooms are a definite no! it kept me and my family fit for a week, now my calf's are like concrete lol. it is a real shame, back in it's hay day, i bet this hotel was fantastic, just needs (a lot ) of money spending on it.

Exceptionally clean, and wonderful views but dated decor. With faded apartment pictures, original clean 80's curtains, mismatched furniture including old dresser, oversized electrical equipment for tiny kitchen units and painted or badly applied silicone patched bathtubs with shower curtain. Functional but needs modernisation throughout. The pool tiles definitely needs attention. I only used the pool once (for core temperature relief from the 37°C heat) during my fortnightly stay due to uneven cement surrounding the pool and the tens of reviews on various websites about the missing, broken and jagged mosaic pool floor tiles.

I spent a week in the BelleVue Aquarius. I have to admit I was a little apprehensive based on some of the reviews I read, but the value couldn't go ignored. The place could do with a fair bit of TLC and modernisation. Aside from that, the staff were very friendly and attentive, everything in our room worked perfectly and there was nothing wrong with the buffet food served as part of the all inclusive package. I would however advise that there can be a lot of steps involved in getting to and from your room, so if this is an issue for you make sure you advise the staff when checking in and see if the can get you a room on the same level as Reception. I would also advise bringing a pair of swim shoes if you're intending on using the pool. There are lots of tiles missing from the pool and concrete around the pool is deteriorating. So, it might be a little rough around the edges, but the value and service you get is great and it's location is perfect as it's right beside the harbour and is near to the bars and restaurants.

Friendly staff. Clean apartments. We stayed half board. Breakfast was continental & limited "English breakfast." Evening meals were more of a desired taste. Varied meat dishes, pork, rabbit, veal, goat, fish, duck, as well as soup, spaghetti, rice, pasta, etc. Everything was very clean. The swimming pool was a very cold 18° Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. A pleasant 25 - 30 minute walk to the busy bars & restaurants of Puerto del Carmen. €5 taxi ride back. The local bus was cheap at €1.40 but a little unreliable timetable wise. ( sometimes 20+ minutes late & full, so wait for the next one. Overall, it's a great place for a relaxing holiday.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment. The sea view from our private terrace was amazing. There was a table & chairs plus a sun lounger which was great for undisturbed sunbathing. There was also a door that led to a balcony. The kitchen was equipped with basic amenities but we needed to buy tea & coffee etc plus washing up items. We had a couple of issues such as the door handle coming off the entrance door, the TV not working and the broken sun lounger but these were all resolved very quickly the same day. The aircon wasn't really necessary as the wind blew through the apartment when windows were opened, which was a blessing! Housekeeping came most days but towels and bedding weren't changed often. The hotel was clean and modern and there were plenty of sun loungers around the pool.

Spotless apartment. Slightly dated, but comfy. Shower curtain sticking to you is a pain, but hey ho . Tidy grounds & oh so quiet. Efficient and good buffet breakfast's. Massive Spar shop right next door for all the essentials. Happy enough with this place . Relatively close to a bus stop too.

Don't be put off by negative reviews. I was really worried previous reviews but it was lovely! We arrived late at night and they had snacks and water ready for us, we were also upgraded to a larger apartment which was perfect. Apartments are dated and could do with a deep clean but they were fine! Food was good, there was a nice variety of healthy foods and they changed each night. Location is great, spar right beside hotel, across road from the beach and 20 mins walk into PDC. Overall we were really happy with our stay.

Very dated apartments,Large but that didn't make up for not having a balcony , which was on booking form , asked for a move, late arrival told next day would better,but no luck.housekeeping can't complain even though it was too early every morning! Bit of walk to nearest bars restaurant, OK if you're fit and used to walking! Puerto del Carmen is definitely bus or taxi ride, beach right opposite, won't be coming this area again .

Staying here for a week, can't fault it, rooms a little dated but it's somewhere to sleep only, grounds are lovely, pool clean and nice, would benefit from a couple of parasols to chill under, pool bar fab, all staff friendly and helpful, snack bar isn't great, not alot of choice, food is fine, alcohol is good, loving cocktail of the day, location isn't bad. If u don't wanna walk up hills taxi is a couple of euros. Rooms cleaned every couple of days, fresh towels every couple of days, my room was equipped with a hairdryer, spacious bathrooms, basic kitchen, can hire kettle etc, safety deposit box in room €20 plus €10 deposit, worth it really. No air-conditioning but that's fine, nice walk down to harbour and strip. Will be returning and have recommended to friends too. Thanks for making our holiday comfy n relaxing.

Nice hotel positioned above the old town in Puerto del Carmen. The food is quite good at all times but does sometimes need reheating in the microwave. There are steps everywhere on the premises and given the walk upto the hotel is a steep hill, I don’t think it suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility issues. The hotel is clean, the staff are all fantastic, so overall I think it’s a decent hotel

I have holidays quite often at los Fiscos We have been satisfied with the rooms that we have been allocated on each occasion.But it it’s not what you would call disabled friendly. In the past the lunchtime and evening buffet meals have not been great but there has been a change of staff in the kitchen and they have improved considerably. The reception staff are also pleasant and helpful and try to resolve any issues that arise.We will be back in the near future Graham and Morag

On arrival our accommodation was not available we were offered an alternative to include all inclusive. When shown the accommodation it was terrible the studio apartment needs a complete refurbishment. However next day we were offered an apartment with a fabulous view, lovely and quiet. The accommodation does need updating. The staff are wonderful helpfull and could not do enough. Very nice breakfast. If the rooms were upgraded it would be perfect.

nice, quiet hotel. Rooms were tidy and cleaned every 2 days. All staff were a joy, particularly bar staff. Drinks on the all inclusive were of a wide range and tasted as you’d expect. only slight let down was the limited range of food at the hotel, although the quality of the food wasn’t awful. quite far walking to the main part of PDC but very accessible with a taxi only taking 5 or so minutes. The area surrounding is very hilly so not ideal for people who have mobility issues. overall, a good experience with only the food slightly knocking the score. Would recommend.

What an amazing hotel. Stayed 11 nights. Staff and hotel fantastic. Very clean. Food amazing so much choice. On a hill but taxis are so cheap. Hotel has a free bus service so that was a help. Hotel assistant manager so lovely and friendly. H loved her.will definitely stay again.entertainment great . Rooms lovely and great view. Nothing too much trouble. Pool lovely but didn't use it as always out exploring. Management always available for questions and so friendly. Cleanliness top quality.

We recently stayed here for 10 days and were very pleased with the hotel as a whole. The room was always clean and comfy, no dust or dirt left anywhere and were very spacious. We stayed in a junior suite for reference. The buffet breakfast was always good with lots on offer including fresh fruit. The pool was always clean and warm, plenty of sun beds available and a great pool bar service with nice food on offer. The main bar always had a good vibe, even when quiet and the bartender Siad was always friendly and gave us great service. Juan and Dunia of the entertainment team always put on good entertainment throughout the day, we went almost every night! Only downside is the hill but they have a shuttle bus that runs three times a day and taxis were never more than €6. Thanks for a great stay! 😊

Lovely hotel. Close to the beach and about a 15 minute walk to the main strip. Provide a bus service free of charge to the beach. Rooms nice and spacious and clean smelling. Shower is great, good water pressure. No issue getting deck chair at the pool. Good variety of food for breakfast.

Lovely Hotel. Staff are friendly. Changed rooms whilst on holiday, no trouble. It is very hilly all around the hotel. However, taxis are cheap and frequent . About a 15-minute walk to the main strip, although there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby . Self-catering studios and 1 bedroom self-catering appartments are all in Flora 11 across the road from the main hotel or via the tunnel again hilly and steps. Overall, it's worth a visit if you're considering it. Would not recommend for people with mobility problems.

Over rated hotel you'll be lucky to get a hello or good bye from the staff makes you feel. Unwelcome. Food in restaurant is average. The maintenance men and cleaners are great they dont stop. Disappointed to be honest. Be careful of your food especially chicken they served it raw on a pizza. Shown it to the staff and they didn't really careless. If your breakfast and evening meal you have to buy your drinks with evening meal terrible. You spen all that money on a family holiday and they wont more Definitely will not stay at this place again

Firstly, for the negative reviews.... if you have mobility issues, research your accommodation beforehand. Yes, there's slopes and steps within the resort but nothing a mobility scooter couldn't handle, and trust me, there were plenty that had been rented. If you don't want to be under a flight path, don't book a resort 10 mins drive from the airport. Again, do your research. Could not fault the cleanliness of our apartment. Full clean with beds changed after 3 days and towels and bathroom attended to regularly, more than was expected. We took our own pillow to be on the safe side as we are both a special about that but the pillow provided wasn't as bad as was reviewed, they are long,quite plump pillows (just so you know!) There's a fridge and 2 hobs in the room. We didn't request a pool view or anything but ended up with a sea view which was better than we could have imagined! Food was fantastic, fresh and varied daily, something for everyone and plenty of it. Drinks were flowing and staff were polite and friendly, and trust me, they worked their socks off. Observing at meal times, was shocking how many guests didn't even acknowledge their presence when they cleared the tables. Lifeguards were lovely too. Obviously the more effort you make with the staff, the more you get back, not rocket science 😉. Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone who has done their research and knows their criteria. I shared a one bedroom apartment with my folks for Christmas. The reception was informative, friendly and welcoming. The apartment was very clean and tidy. Plenty of room in the living area and balcony. Meals were well cooked and plentiful. Good choices for all types of dietary needs. Bars and entertainment were great. Good service and some great shows. I hope to return some time soon

Went here in December, Rooms are basic but functional no real complaints with them, the only issue we had was the AC seems to be disconnected at this time of year. Restaurant and food is diabolical, we had to eat out every day and night. I'm not a fussy eater but it was absolute garbage. Really disappointing and was an issue the whole holiday for the whole family. Several other guests agreed who we spoke to. The location is good, with quite a nice walk into town if you are fit. Best advice I could give you is don't go AI, it's not worth it at all. It's fine as a base camp but that's it. We've been to the island several times and there is much better hotels offering far superior service for the same price. We wouldn't go again to this one. Lesson learned.

Good value for money hotel. Enjoyed the All inclusive buffet, food changed and was tasty. Two pools is a bonus. Downside was air cons not on during off peak season (wasn't clear when booking), the gym was shut permanently (likely to be open during summer) and the front desk staff are not super friendly. But overall good stay, in November.

Yet another enjoyable stay my husband and had a relaxed & comfortable stay. We find the hotel & apartments very clean and attractive. Food is ok much as with any all-inclusive gets repetitive, alcohol is fine no complaints. Staff throughout are very friendly & helpful. A short walk to matagorda centre were there are plenty of lovely restaurants. Also not expensive for taxi to del Carmen . Thank you for making our stay enjoyable once again 🙂

Clean, spacious and welcoming reception are. That's the good part. I have just spent Christmas & New Year here and I have to say I am very disappointed. The room was not big enough for a family of four, very dated with poor quality beds for the kids. Food was awful, same over cooked, over seasoned rubbish served up almost every breakfast, dinner and tea. Evening entertainment - packed up and gone for 10:30 so definitely not good. The only good thing about the place is that you can have your room made up every day if you wish. When was the last time this place was given it's star rating? Definitely NOT 4*, 2* at a push. Over priced and will not be back.

Our second time staying in this hotel. The location is lovely. Rooms are big and spacious. The food isn't really great so we only had bed and breakfast and didn't opt for all inclusive. The staff are friendly and the entertainment team are amazing. My daughter loved them! They were full of energy and were always smiling. Its a lovely hotel and would definitely stay again.

Hotel over all is nice and clean. A little dated. Pool area is lovely. Lots of space to sit and relax. Night time entertainment is not great. My son is 10 and was way too childish for him. The food wasn't the best. Lots of choice but very repetitive and gets really boring. Location is great. Lots of nice restaurants around if you fancy proper food. Personally would not go again.

Just stayed here for new year's eve for 4 nights. Rooms spacious, great location as it's about 5 minutes walk or less to the beach. Shops along the beach also and a spar supermarket. Lots of restaurants around to eat in. We only had breakfast in the hotel which was fine buffet. The staff were lovely it's a really big hotel. Downside is my side of the hotel I could hear the entertainment from my room. With 3 small children this was not good as they wouldn't sleep. My sister stayed on the other side of hotel with no children and it was quiet. They should really sleep children on the quiet side. Pool was freezing also to be expected but one of the pools was meant to be heated so that was disappointing. I would stay here again

After reading many negative reviews we were worried about coming here for Christmas. Do not get persuaded by bad reviews. The room is spacious and very clean. Ll rooms are cleaned daily . Staff is very pleasant and friendly. Some people complained about the food during the trip, however the food is fresh with multiple choices. Our family enjoyed each restaurant and the staff made extra effort for the Christmas period. The hotel is very big and very close to the beach and local restaurants. I would highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing week away.

Checked out this morning following 10 days all inclusive. We are a family of four (ages 15 & 12). This hotel is fantastic. From the staff at reception, kitchen, bar, cleaners and entertainment, they were all extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Complex is spotless and the food is varied and plentiful. Would highly recommend staying here, and I look forward to our return.

Enjoyed our stay at the Floresta, the hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. We were fully inclusive and the choice of food available for breakfast, dinner and tea was quite impressive, there was always something you could have, even for the pickiest of palates. There were activities on site, it was a little hit and miss if you found out about them when they were happening. Overall we had a good time at the hotel.

Great find and good 3 star hotel really close to the beach, shops and a number of good restaurants. We had a two bedded apartment (Room 1513) that was spacious and very clean, ideal for our grandson 17 months, very safe as we could block the passageway to the terrace that was enclosed all round and had sun for most of the day, an ideal play area. We were on half board. Good selection at breakfast (Tip take a large mug as only small cups), and a variety to choose in the evening. The hotel allows you to swap evening meals for lunchtime so we were able to also try out some of the local restaurants. If you're a cyclist a great cycle track along the coast to Costa Teguise or the other way to Puerto del Carmen with easy access to the other roads to take you to explore other parts of the island

We stay here regularly - in excess of 8 times over past few years. The entertainment programme isn't as great since the blonde haired woman left who was brilliant with the kids - the dark haired woman gets the kids colouring and then sits on her phone. U (manager) can be a little direct and come across as a bit rude in email communication and in person but I don't think she means to. The pool is warm and the rooms clean although showers can make floors very slippery and dangerous for disabled people. The security of the hotel also isn't great since anyone can walk in and there have been thefts reported recently in rooms. More choice of vegetables and more fresh water would be appreciated alongside updated entertainment as the kids disco hasn't altered for years really. Bar staff and restaurant staff are excellent and work very hard. Overall it's a good stay but becoming a little rundown and no upgrades seem to be on the cards.

Such a lovely hotel. The apartment we got was a pool view with breakfast. We were on the quiter side of the hotel through the gates. It was perfect. We went for breakfast each morning and they had a wide variety on display, always fresh and tasty. The pools are clean and very well maintained as are the grounds. The rooms are cleaned every single day. We stayed 10 days. The large pool is a sea water pool and it's so lovely as the smaller one in front of our apartment was a lot colder, still nice but I preferred the larger one. Rooms are very clean and have the basics. Air con, TV. The beds are comfortable but I found the pillows a little uncomfortable personally, my husband didn't though. Easy to get a bus or taxi into the main strip if you want more night life, but plenty of restaurants and bars around the area if you want a little less madness. So close to the beach and spar across the road. Can't wait to come back again.

Great clean room, we stayed in the self catering part of the hotel. Apartment was very spacious and clean with all what you'd expect, cooking and cleaning tools. Great balcony view of the chill out area and beach. Staff are very pleasant and helpful providing all the info you need to have a trouble free holiday. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We spent 11 nights here and it was great. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, the outside area is kept very clean, there are lots of people working here to keep it tidy. It is just a minute away from the beach and the pool area is also good, I will definitely come back here

Just back from our 10 night stay. The hotel itself was lovely and very close to the strip and beach. It’s about a 15 min walk to the old town too. The hotel is situated at the top of what everyone calls ‘cardiac hill’ but it really isn’t that bad maybe if you have a disability you probably would struggle. The hotel does have a side entrance you can access through and then go up lots of steps but the gate closes around 7. Also another way is to enter from the strip at the bottom of the hotel near sun lounge. The rooms are bright, clean and modern we loved the room and we were very pleased as we was near the pool area. The only thing with the room was mopping up every time we took a shower. The hotel doesn’t like inflatables in the pool or said no ball games but people did have balls in pool and the pool staff didn’t seem to mind. Sun beds were taken very early but the staff removed towels if they were left unattended for long. The only reason why we wouldn’t return to this hotel is because the pool was absolutely freezing!

Overall, nice place, although accessible bathroom a joke, floor is always soaked throughout after a shower & is lethal when wet. Pedal bins should be emptied daily. Apart from horrendous hill this is at the top of, apartments & staff , very pleasing.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff . . Right on cardiac hill. . . Pool was good to cool down when it was roasting hot . . Had a great time. But the only complaint was the towels round the pool . Some days hotel staff would remove them if guests left them.. maybe yous should've done this all the time rather when it suited you's . . As people could have been away for hrs and nothing would be done . But yet others would be lifted within minutes of them leaving the hotel. . Team meeting I think and make sure yous all work off the same hym sheet . .

Here now No drinking water in our room! No way is that 4 star service! Kettle but no condiments! Teenangers riding E Scooters around the pool & inside the Hotel! Nice to beach Still time to rectify my review Edit: 25/12/2024 Thank yin for removing the e scooters round the pool. Must say I'm impressed by the animation team. Really good effort and energy from the team. I paid €30 to have drinks like water in the mini bar- bottles that came with bottle tops that need a bottle opener! 🤦🏻‍♂️ I've taken coffee from the restaurant to use in the room, but no milk sachets. Food is nice Service is respectful Location to the beach is brilliant! Edit: Christmas dinner was a disaster! Less said the better! Repeat again: Having water bottles in our room that need a bottle opener to open! No use to me or my 8 year old daughter when we are thirsty in our room at night? After paying €30 to have drinks in our room P.S. we are meant to be all inclusive

What can I say about this hotel except a week is not long enough. The staff are so so friendly, the food caters for all types of critics, the rooms absolutely spotless as was the whole area surrounding the hotel, walkways, stairways, pool area, gym and laundry area. There is a small shop located in the foyer but on the last day we discover a large shop connected to the back of the hotel. I seriously cannot fault one thing about this hotel. Located directly at the beach with some shops in the local area, as this is situated in Matagorda it is a good 45minute to hours walk to the main shopping area but sure when on holiday in the sun isn't the beauty of that in the walking and taking in the scenery. Looking to go back this year.

I returned yesterday from a last minute 5day trip with my mother. We went away to relieve stress, complete my assignments in peace and relax before my mother's spinal surgery next week. Unfortunately, the stress only got worse. I don't want to say the holiday was all negative. We did have a brilliant time meeting other guests and having a laugh. Staff were also very friendly. Unfortunately, I would not say the hotel is a 4star but more of a 3star. It was quite a basic hotel. Entrance was pretty but there's alot of updating that needs to be carried out. We paid for a superior sea view room. Cannot complain about the view although the rooms needed freshening up. They were very spacious though. I was disappointed that the hotel does not provide coffee in the rooms, this would have been a great touch. The poolside was nice, there was no arguing over sun loungers but the pools were absolutely freezing even though one was supposedly heated. It was a shame for families with children as they couldn't go into the pool. The beach was just outside a gate and across a path. Very beautiful too. The food was disappointing. Very repetitive and I do feel there wasn't much to choose from. It was also cold! There were microwaves to heat food up but this should not be expected. Food should be served hot. Staff were very quick to help clear tables and take away any used plates though. Let's talk about stress. I was in my room carrying out work for my assignment while propped up in bed. All of a sudden, part of the wall crashed down and hit me. Pictures do not do it justice, it was heavy! The corner of this heavy piece of wood smashed into my arm and laptop. The screen is completely smashed and slightly bent. As you can imagine I was angry, shocked and upset. Luckily, I was not sleeping as my head would have been in the same place my laptop was. Without sounding dramatic, I would have received some serious head injury if not worse. You do not expect to have health and safety issues like this when being on holiday. The manager was apologetic but I do feel it was brushed underneath the carpet. I was offered a massage for my troubles which I felt it was insulting. The jet2 rep was amazing and I could not fault her. She argued for me to have a laptop to continue my work which was finally agreed upon. This however did not happen as they could not source one for me. I was not asked once how I was even considering the wood hit me. I was upset and could barely sleep with fear it was going to happen again. I'm surprised there was no investigation as to how it happened, but rather it was 'quickly fixed'. I felt as though the hotel could not wait for us to leave so they did not have to deal with us any longer. Unfortunately, will not be returning and feel I need a holiday to recover from the stress this holiday caused.

Stayed at Sol Lanzarote for a week. The good parts included a modern room, cleaned every day, 3 pools which were not too busy apart from the heated pool which is full of kids most of the day. I thought the food was decent and you do get a good selection everyday including meats, cheese, bread, fruits and vegetables, and desserts. The beer and wine is on tap so it's very easy to get yourself a drink whenever you feel like it. The hotel has very good beach access which is literally only a 30 second walk away from one of the pools. The only negatives I would say are the music is very loud and lively all day from about 10:00 am to about 22:30 pm at night. There are also a lot of children there who are quite loud as well. Overall it's a good hotel but I personally think it's more suited for a family with children than a quiet holiday getaway for a couple.

Great budget hotel, overall 5 star as this is a budget hotel rated as 2 stars, and as a 2 star hotel it is excellent. Stayed for a long weekend in November with friends, everything you could need as a base. Supermarket 5 mins down the road, main strip about 20 min walk. Helpful reception staff, Clean basic rooms, pool bar with friendly staff and decent snack food and drinks, housekeeping staff lovely (but not daily). Pool was cold but refreshing. Sunbeds could use a little TLC or updating but all in all a great choice if you need to watch your budget when booking. Would happily stay again.

Room number 30. Adjoining door to next room with absolutely no privacy what so ever. Can hear every single conversation and kept awake every night and up early due to noise above. Beds are rock hard and could not walk for 2 days. One key given and unfortunately door locked shut when sitting out. Luckily I had just finished cooking, there is no emergency number and no one on sight. Any number we called was useless. I am diabetic and all my medication was inside. After around 90 min a couple helped by using a credit card to get back in!! This is a very poor experience and if I was still cooking the whole block would have been in flames. This needs sorting asap!!! Apartments are basic but you get what you pay for.

AMAZING staff (Sara!) she truly is an asset to the hotel. Having disabled parents with us and Easy Jet not passing on details of this Sara took it upon herself to make us as comfortable as possible, including changing our apartment on day 2 (we were originally given upstairs!) Sara arranged for us to change to a poolside apartment to make things easier which meant my parents could enjoy some independence and not rely on us helping them up and down the stairs. She truly made our holiday. The care and compassion she showed us made the experience amazing, giving the personal touch. The apartment was nice, and the 2 pools were great as it meant there was no overcrowding. The main strip/ beach was about a ten minute walk with a shop a couple of minutes away.

Location ok, about a 10 min walk to the main strip which is really good. Good variety of shops, plenty of options for food, great beaches. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were basic but adequate. Pool area had a good vibe. However, many guests booked sunbeds 24/7 but hardly seemed to use them, on more than one occasion we couldn't get one and had to sit on the floor on a towel. One thing to be aware of, the reception/site has no staff after around 8pm. The problem this caused is no one was there to monitor evening activities. About three times during our holiday some guests gathered and had parties by the pool until around 2-3am keeping us awake. This may be your thing, but not ours. If there was more control over evening activities and sunbed booking I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, but...

Returning from a week here, not usually one to leave reviews but wish I’d have read more before I came. Reception closes at 8pm, we didn’t arrive until 9:30pm, the keys are kept in a lock box, which I didn’t receive the code to until I’d landed. Was a bit nerve wracking knowing you were flying somewhere without knowing you were going to be able to get in to your hotel. Maybe this information could be given the day before? The rooms are basic, the beds aren’t the comfiest but I’ve had worse, only one pillow but did manage to get more from reception. Bathroom is ok, towels weren’t changed on our stay, and the shower is completely open so flooded the bathroom floor every time. No shelf for toiletries. The shower head also fell off the wall multiple times throughout the week. The sofa was uncomfortable, no cushions, just rock solid. The kitchen we didn’t use except the fridge as it didn’t feel clean. The freezer door at the top of our fridge didn’t exist so our top shelf was unusable as it just pooled with water from the melted freezer. We had to wash all the cutlery before using it as the tray it was kept in was full of crumbs. The walls between apartments are paper thin, you can hear everything, our neighbours liked to slam doors and shout which at stupid o’clock in the morning isn’t what you want really. There was a disgusting smell that came in through the bedroom window too. The outside terrace area was plenty big enough but the plastic chairs were so hard to sit on. The pool was ICE cold, the sunbeds all felt like they were falling apart and were dirty. We asked about late checkout and were told they were full, which is hard to believe when I saw no more than 15 people around the pool daily. The icing on the cake was the showers that are provided for use before leaving were awful, one room with nowhere to keep things dry? Having to get changed in a wet shower is questionable. Location wise this hotel is great, it’s an easy 5 minute walk to the front with all the restaurants and shops, it did the job but would I return again- absolutely NOT.

Our cleaning lady is lovely. Our animation lad Alex is especially entertaining and funny and has made our holiday very pleasurable. So much so we have booked again for next year.

Well, what shall I say... target audience is probably looking for affordable vacay at a nice spot and if that's you, you're in a good place. Literally, as location is indeed spot on - best beach, all the restaurants and bars you want next door. But I wouldn't choose all-inclusive necessarily, food's pretty basic, and drinks...let's not talk about it. Staff is nice tho, rooms are spacious and very clean and feature a kitchenette. So if cooking is your thing - probably good spot. Overall: come for the location, sun, not for the food or luxury.

We were really happy with our stay. The hotel is central, not too far a walk down to the strip at all (massive plus point for me) - the rooms are clean and really spacious and are cleaned 5 days out of 7, there plenty sunbeds available (could be doing with more parasols though) there is entertainment around the pool with the fabulous Alex, a real credit to the hotel. Food wise we were happy also, a good bit of variety at the buffet each meal, each day something different. Would not hesitate to recommend and would absolutely stay here again

Yet another amazing stay here. This is my 4th time here and already planning to come back. Every member of the team have been great, nothing is too much trouble for any of them. Massive shout out to Alex from the Animation team. He made the last week of our holiday. Rooms are are lovely, plenty of space and stunning views from your patio. There was a small issue with this air con, however this was not a fault of the hotel and they everything they could to keep us up to date with this. Arrived last Wednesday after booking 12mths ago and requesting an upper floor room. My parents had been and loved the place. It was our anniversary and we were looking to spend a lot of time just relaxing in the sun. We were in room 621 on the ground floor. First impression on walking in the room was it was lovely, then when we went in the bathroom things changed. It hadn't been cleaned, the toilet was filthy and reception was closed so we cleaned it ourselves 🤢 I did let them know the following day. There was dirt everywhere, bath mat was full of soap scum and the tiles were full of black scum which I wiped some of it to see, and it does clean away. There was a dirty bread board at the side of the sink with a long hair on it and the utensils hanging near were dirty as was the fridge. Our room wasn't cleaned the entire time we stayed and the cleaner came in on the Monday to just empty the bin. We had no towel change or anything. Lots of reviews say this place is spotless so we were shocked to see it as it was. The complex seemed to have many long term guests who seemed to treat it as their own place and we couldn't sunbathe by the pool due to them putting towels on beds and all congregating, it was uncomfortable. They were actually quite rowdy with no respect for anyone, music was quite loud in the mornings, the bin outside our apartment was constantly overflowing. On our last day we came back to the apartment to find someone had left a magazine on the patio table and chairs were moved into the sun as if someone had been using it whilst we were out, then to top that on the same evening we saw a huge cockroach crawl out from behind the bathroom door frame. The complex is in a fantastic location however we just felt totally let down by everything whilst there and would never stay there again. It's quite sad when we had really looked forward to going. This was our third visit to these apartments. A very small, adult only complex comprising of about 24 apartments. They are very basic studio apartments, an open plan kitchen/bedroom with a bathroom. Nearly all the apartments have either a terrace or balcony over looking the small unheated pool. There are about 12 sun loungers situated around the pool and my only complaint was the early morning sunbed baggers, who would put towels out, then go out for a good few hours preventing other people from using them. We stayed for three weeks and saw a big turnover of guests and they all seemed to want to do it. The apartments themselves are dated with very basic cooking equipment and utensils. A 2 ring hob and a microwave. 3 forks, 3 knives and 3 spoons. 3 cups, plates and 2 bowls. You can ask for more apparently but we managed. The apartments are serviced with a basic clean and towel change once a week and a more thorough clean, bedding and towel change once a week. It’s clean and the beds are very comfy and very quiet at night. We don’t need much moreVery close to the strip, within walking distance of lovely restaurants, bars and the beach, just in case you don’t get up early enough to bag a sunbed. The staff are lovely and assist as much as they can. It ticks all the boxes for us despite being basic. We will definitely return.

I recommend Las Lilas 100%. Intimate, quiet and peaceful. Great owner and nice service. Closest shop across the street another 5 minute walk. Beach, restaurants and bus stop 3 minutes away. Rooms clean and properly equipped. A small disadvantage is the lack of a jug. I highly recommend Las Lilas, the proof is that I returned there after 4 months for another vacation. Lovely apartments, we had app 114 which has mobility scooter accessibility. Pool is rather cold as it doesnt get much sun but is very refreshing! Good size, very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be back in the not to distant future. If i was being picky i would say that some areas could do with a little more cleaning but it was more than good. It was my birthday while we were here and i was given a lovely bottle of freixenet as a surprise, which i thought was very sweet of them.

Terrible place, I am 49 and came with my elderly parents who are 74 & 77, we were not greated kindly at all, the regular guests who stay for months treated us like we were in their way, watching everything we did and looking in our rooms, they didn’t like any noise or movement, the maid service was none existent, will be staying anywhere but there in the future

Just returned from a great week here. Was a little worried about going as I'd read a few negative comments, but it's been lovely. Cheap and cheerful, great spot, lovely and quiet and just a 5 min walk to the strip. You get what you pay for but it's clean, the maid was in everyday, towels changed once during the week. Could do with updating, never used the kettle, toaster or microwave as they were a bit past their sell by date. It hasn't put us off as we are hoping to book again for next year. Loved it!

Lack of everything needed. Dirty, no reception, potent surrounding smell, very small TV. Many other things. Let me just say that we stayed here in these same apartments in 2017 then again in 2018 but gone they have gone right down hill. Was in Lanzarote last year when heavier restrictions (different better staffed apartments which we loved ), main issues in Laguneta mostly stem from lack of necessary staffing. We will definitely keep returning to Lanzarote as we have done for the last 18 years but not to these apartments.

This is a great location. It’s close to the main central strip and beach. The grounds here are immaculately kept and the pool is very good - deep around though so flotation devices for kids is a good idea. Having said that the pool area and pool are quiet. The apartment we had was nice if a little tired. It was hot when we were there in August and 3 people so needed an extra fan staff were so helpful and got one straight away. Mosquitoes are an issue if you leave windows open at night for me - rest of family weren’t to bad. Would highly recommend

If you are a 5star all inclusive person this might not be your cup of tea but I think it’s a lovely little accommodation, close to Spar and the beach on a little hill🌊🐚 they also had everything in the kitchen so cooking is easy. Check in and check out was very easy

Just stayed for a week at Luz y Mar. From the moment we arrived which was at 18.30 there were no reception just a key in and envelope with my name on it stuck to the door. Walked in to the apartment to a strong smell of foist. Apartment was very dated, had a small TV that was on a table, the wooden sofa had a approximately 3 inch thick cushion on it, not comfy at all, the cover had a big stain on it, the balcony door dragged along the floor when you opened it. We arrived on the Friday, a guy came on the Monday and just give us clean towels and went, did not see any staff to clean the room or change the sheets and take the rubbish. We had the same towels all week. No security at all, no reception after 7pm to control any problems and so had to listen to a family screaming at each other. The receptionist during the day was miserable and had a bad attitude with anyone who needed assistance. Could continue to go on but that's enough. Would never go back there again.

Pleasantly surprised. This place isn't the RITZ, but everything works, everything is clean, the location is perfect, and there's a real friendly community around Kathy's bar staff. We were greeted by a lady named Maureen who showed us where to find the key (we were late checking in so they leave it with your name outside reception). Kathy's bar makes the resort, and the staff are super friendly and great with kids. The Lidl is less than 5 mins walk and it's a 15 mins walk downhill to the main strip and old town. There are 3 or 4 bars outside the resort that sell nice food and drinks at a reasonable price. We're likely going to go back.

Gardens and pool area Kept well. Few bars and eateries just round the corner and Lidl and Spar just across the road. Bus stops outside. Only downside for me was the big hills to negotiate but walked down and taxi back for 3 euros.

Fabulous quiet complex with friendly staff and a nice pool!! I sent a few emails before our stay which were replied to so quickly. The minute we got to the place to check in we were greeted with a nice staff member. Room was spacious, very clean and basic but ideal. Beds were very comfortable and a fan provided which was great. The complex is gated and it closes early so you need a code to get in which felt very safe. Lovely quiet area and walking distance to both towns. Great place!!

The Room View is the best that you can have, however the rooms are a little dated. Great location even though people are sometimes put off by the hill, it's not really that bad as access to the hotel can be made from the bottom through several levels. The staff are great, professional and friendly, the rooms could be considered basic but they are well equipped and above all clean and spacious, beds are comfortable and any road noise is minimal ensuring a good nights sleep. The location is ideal as a base to explore Puerto Del Carmen.

We arrived at the hotel at 8pm after a long day travel, the receptionist told us the hotel was full, there was no room for us even our booking was confirmed and we've got an official reservation. That hotel forced us to go further to another one we didn't want. Plus, it was the period of the New Year's eve, so it was impossible to find another one, good with my own preferences. I tried multiple times to call Booking.com to help us with that bad situation, but nothing. That doesn't make sense. Overbooking issues are not my responsibility, and I should not have to suffer the inconveniences.

First time staying here, my 9th time in lanzarote. First off the location is excellent right on the strip which is located half way up cardiac hill we did not mind this but some staying here may. Pool is excellent and the sun loungers are great with views of the ocean probably the best views we’ve had staying in PDC. We only had drinks at the bar and they were great but I would say they only have a small selection of cocktail choices I would recommend a few more as several people said the same when we were here. Pool bar food looks very good and many love it. The views from our room is excellent we stayed in 505. Small things needed in the apartments - a lot of the sockets are almost hanging off the whole and are slightly broken - this seems unsafe and a simple electric fixing would have it secured, there is also very limited sockets I would suggest adding more or maybe an extension lead in each apartment. The fans were a great addition. We paid €55 to have air conditioning in the room for the 10 days so worth it! We have stayed in other places were it is free but again make sure you ask them. Rented an iron and boarded for free with a €20 deposit again very good to have this option. Beds very comfortable. Towel quality not great but they done the job, rooms cleaned every 2nd day which was great, when we did arrive I did find some dust and hairs throughout the apartment but nothing major. The apartments were clean and comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. Staff were very friendly and helpful with all our questions, it’s not the nicest I’ve stayed in Lanzarote but I would certainly stay here again and I look forward to booking it again in the future.

Exactly what you want ... central location , absolutely beautiful views overlooking the beach ... massive selection of restaurants/bars within a 2 minute walk ... rooms very tidy ... solarium chill zone by the pool with wonderful sea views ... the walk up the hill from the strip is tough but every road off the main strip has an uphill gradient of some degree ... taxi's are plentiful... would absolutely stop here again 👍🌞

Lovely place. Really friendly and helpful reception guy who we really appreciated! 10stars! Had issue with soap dispenser that was dealt with. Booked a day trip for us the minute we arrived and enquired. Helped with all questions/concerns we had. Rooms are spacious enough, there's a bit of a smell in bathroom if you keep windows closed so better make sure you're airing the bathroom. We don't smoke so was a bit annoyed when neighbours smoked in front of their doors as smoke was getting in if we had doors open. We might of been lucky but it was nice and quiet at night time ( went Monday till Friday) tiny gym I haven't had time to use but it's something if you want to have a little session while away. The hotel is on a bit of a hill so if you have mobility issues you might struggle. About 10-15 min from the beach. About the same to bus stop if you going to/from airport. If you take taxi- we paid €16 to go back to airport.

The look when you pull up was questionable but as soon as you got into the reception area it was beautiful as was the rest of the hotel. Extremely Unprofessional and Hostile Front Desk Experience Our experience at this hotel was incredibly disappointing due to the unprofessional and hostile behavior of the front desk staff. Upon arrival, we were informed that our room was not ready, so we waited at the pool restaurant. When we returned to check in, there was confusion regarding our payment. We had booked and paid for three nights through Booking.com, however, the front desk staff insisted we had only paid for one night and demanded additional payment for the remaining two nights. Understanding that mistakes can happen, I calmly stated that I needed to contact Booking.com to verify the payment before making any additional charges. Instead of assisting us, the front desk woman became dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. She smirked at our attempts to clarify the issue and displayed aggressive body language, standing with her arms crossed as if we were causing a problem rather than trying to resolve one. While we attempted to resolve the issue by contacting Booking.com, I messaged the hotel’s customer service via the app, asking if another staff member could assist us. Instead of responding professionally, the same front desk woman smugly commented, *"Just so you know, I can see everything you message."* This further demonstrated her lack of professionalism and basic customer service skills. When my friend reached for the printed receipt lying on the counter, the front desk woman aggressively tried to snatch it away, leading to a brief struggle. At this point, the situation had escalated beyond reason. To document what was happening, I started recording the interaction—something I felt was necessary given how hostile and inappropriate the staff’s behavior had become. The moment I did, the front desk woman panicked and immediately called the police. Within a minute, five policemen arrived. Only one spoke some English, so they asked the same front desk woman—who had created the issue in the first place—to translate. This felt like a surreal and unfair situation. I explained that I was still on the phone with Booking.com and waiting for them to send an official invoice (which the front desk demanded instead of my confirmation email). The police agreed to wait while I resolved the matter. My friend told them we no longer wished to stay at this hotel due to the staff’s rudeness, and despite the stressful encounter, the police were understanding, and Booking.com ultimately resolved the issue by relocating us to another hotel, where we had a smooth check-in and a pleasant stay. As someone with years of experience in hospitality, I understand that misunderstandings can happen, however, how a hotel staff handles them makes all the difference. The level of hostility and unprofessionalism we experienced here was completely unacceptable. No guest should ever be treated this way, especially in a hospitality setting where courtesy and problem-solving skills are essential. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting basic courtesy and customer service.

I wish I'd known the pool isn't heated, otherwise I wouldn't have booked here. It was absolutely freezing so you couldn't use it. The rooms are very clean, but basic. The cleaning staff work very hard and come 5 days out of 7. Great location near the beach, bars, shops, restaurants, etc.

The front desk staff insisted we hadn’t paid, despite our confirmed booking through Booking.com. When we refused to pay again, they escalated the situation unnecessarily and called the police. Their behavior was unprofessional and unwelcoming, making for an incredibly disappointing experience. I truly don’t understand how this place has such a high rating. I would strongly recommend avoiding it.

We have just stayed for 2wks, and could not find a fault, location was great. Pool area was brilliant, they have a felt flooring, so people don't slip, and the sunbeds have mattresses on top, to make them comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

We just spent 10 nights here and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. We were initially a little disappointed as we had hopped for a sea view but the room was perfectly fine with a pool view the only downside was the bedroom was over the kitchen of nicos which was noisy extractor fans etc. The plusses : location is so accessible to the beach the strip shops restaurants. There's a well stocked supermarket across the street. Fabulous hotel. Great position for the strip or the old town. We have stayed there twice this year and cannot fault it. The rooms are lovely and well supplied for anyone self catering. Everywhere is so clean. We saw our cleaner most days during our 10 day visits, even if it was just with fresh towells. Both pool areas lovely. We have eaten at the hotel both breakfast and dinner, and the food was very nice. Staff very friendly and go beyond to try and help in any way they can. I had a fall during our visit last week, not at the hotel ,but coming back from the strip. Not only did they offer to arrange transport to see a doctor but provided me with crutches so that I was able to enjoy the rest of my holiday. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. We are already looking to book again for next year.

Great hotel with a warm and friendly welcome and amazing staff, chatty but not in your face and really helpful. We didn't eat here but the food being served looked really good. A nice 10 minute walk to the main front or on the other direction to the old harbour. The room was spacious and clean with lots of hot water and a good shower, basic cooking facilities (who cares!) but plenty of mugs, plates etc and most importantly a cork screw. Bottle of water in the fridge was a nice touch. Lovely place to hang out in evening with a few drinks, very reasonable prices. Lots of places to relax and change if you are waiting for your pick up after checkout. Tip....if you want a quieter room away from the outside bar as for a room in the rear block. Beautiful outdoor areas with flowers and trees, very well kept.

What a lovely apartment complex equally distant from the very lively sea front with all its bouncing bars and great restaurants to the harbour area with a more relaxed feel. The apartments are clean, and most have been modernised recently. The pool area is lovely and we didn't have an issue getting a sunbed (contrary to some reports). Reception staff are great. Housekeeping are fantastic with ready smiles and greetings every time you met one of them. Poolside bar area is clean and the staff are great. We will be back.

Stayed for 2 weeks and it was absolutely lovely.. Rooms were always clean, location was perfect, just a walk away from all the restaurants and shops. Had a problem with the water and it was sorted within the hour, anything we needed help with, someone was there to show us. The Pools are close to all the rooms and there's even a snack bar if you fancy buying food there and staying round the pool for the day. Beach is on the front, which is a 5 minute walk and a park for the kids. These Bungalows aren't modern, but they don't need to be, they are perfect and don't need changing. Maybe a little paint in places, but otherwise great. We will definitely be coming back here to stay! It was worth every penny and my little big loved it.

If you are staying here and they give you room 720 turn round and go home. Sewage truck outside the room for 3hours twice a week and the smell meant you had to leave for the duration. Tv was broken when we arrived and we had to call reception 6 times in 2 weeks to come back and fix it again. And it's also on a busy road with absolutely no privacy.Went out to catch a few rays on the 1st day and ended up with carbon monoxide poisoning. Glad to be going home and definitely not coming back here. Worst apartment I've ever had in 32 years of coming to lanzarote. In response to your reply we did ask for a room change as soon as we got there and was told the hotel was booked up and we couldn't move. The Spanish lady who lives 2 doors away told us the sewage truck is a regular occurrence so if you are going to reply to people who have had bad experiences be factual and honest and don't LIE...and stop saying it was a repair truck. Great place to stay. Out of the main town enough for peace and quiet but a 40min (flat) walk along the beach to town or a 10min bus ride for countless bars, restaurants and atmosphere. Staff were great. Hire your car from reception and they'll sort it out for you within the hour if before 1pm. Couldn't be any easier. Loads of bars and choices to eat in the complex too. 2min to the beach. What more can you ask?😎

I stayed in this property last week (June 2024). The property is amazing and cozy. The staff is super friendly and love to help their guests. Rooms were very clean and the apartment was very spacious. Location is amazing too and very close to the beach. Taxi station is like 2 mins walking from the hotel. Overall I loved my stay at this property. Staff is very kind too, I had a late flight to catch after my checkout at 12 pm, They allowed me to store my luggage and also allowed me to shower while leaving the hotel later.

Staff are very friendly and courteous. We were upgraded to a Seaview apartment on our arrival. Rooms are very clean. No air-conditioning, but there's ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room. We got a double bed which was very comfortable. The pool is a bit small and very deep (1.9m for none swimmers). The pool area is very quiet at this time of year, as there aren't any children about. Sunbeds aren't a problem. A few more wouldn't go astray . Parasols are in short supply and also in need of some TLC. Wifi is readily available but is shockingly slow. (Not fit for purpose in this day and age). Lots of steps: It is split over 3 levels, so it could be problematic if you are bad on your feet. You can use a mobility scooter, but you have to use a back street gate, and it's like a maze to find your way to reception to park up. Location in fantastic, just on the main strip and across the road from the beach.

A Decent Budget Stay at Hip Hotel Le Geria We stayed at Hip Hotel Le Geria in April while meeting family, and overall, it was a decent experience for a budget getaway. Lanzarote isn’t typically my go-to destination, but the hotel offered enough to keep us entertained, even with the weather being a bit hit and miss. The hotel itself had plenty to do, which was a plus, though I found the food to be pretty average. The service around the pool area was good, but I was a bit disappointed that floats couldn’t be used for sunbathing. The location was definitely one of the highlights. It’s close to the airport, the beach, and a selection of shops and bars. While it was relatively quiet during our stay, I imagine the area would be bustling during high season. A short taxi ride to the main strip opened up a variety of restaurants, bars, and live entertainment options, which added to the experience. Overall, while the hotel didn’t blow me away, it was perfectly acceptable for a budget-friendly getaway. If you’re looking for a convenient, affordable stay with decent amenities and proximity to local attractions, Hip Hotel Le Geria is worth considering.

Returned last week from our 1st stay and really loved the hotel Excellent location right on the promenade, opposite the beach and very close to many bars and restaurants Hotel is lovely and modern. Great pool area and never a problem getting sunbeds even though the hotel seemed busy. There is a modern gym and Spa area but didn't use either of these. Free pool towels and these were really big Large bar area with inside seating where the evening entertainment is and doors opening onto lots of outside seating. There is a separate smoking area next to the bar with comfy looking sofas if you did want to smoke. For us, the only negative to the bar area, is that it's the only inside space in the evening and the entertainment was far too loud....so loud that it sounded like the singers were shouting and out of tune. The 2 evenings when the entertainment wasn't so loud, sounded better. We had entertainment every night however including Abba, Beatles tribute, Soul and Sass etc. Daytime entertainment was available 6 days a week including rifle shooting and water aerobics We were all inclusive and personally I couldn't fault the food and drink. The restaurant was very busy at breakfast. So much choice available at all mealtimes and for lunch and dinner there was fresh chef cooking of at least 2 meats and 2 fish choices and cooking fresh eggs and omelettes at breakfast. I'm really fussy and never struggled.....I even had beef cheek stew on 2 occasions which is something ive never tried before but it was delicious and the meat fell apart. The first few days, the food was lukewarm but this improved. Huge choice of fruit and desserts....the tiramisu was delicious, as was the caramel ice cream. I thought the all inclusive drinks were great and enjoyed the cocktails which were made fresh to order and not premixed. Every local spirit available. Soft drinks included Pepsi Max and low sugar orange and lemon Fanta. White coffee in the restaurant at breakfast was the best ive had in any hotel but was very weak in the bar area. Drinks in the bar and restaurant (except breakfast) were all waiter service which personally I prefer Rooms were big with large bathrooms and walk in shower and nice shower gel, hand soap and shampoo. Plenty of storage in the room. Safe in wardrobe. TV with BBC1, BBC2, ITV and C4. Fridge in rooms with large bottle of water on arrival. Beds were very very comfy Staff were lovely and really helpful on the whole.... We had a great time but unfortunately the weather could have been better. Lanzarote had an orange warning for wind whilst we were there so after the first 3 days which were hot and sunny, the last week was mixed with a pretty chilly wind, especially when the sun wasn't out but it is winter in Lanzarote. Would definitely return 😎🌞😎🌞

1/5 Terrible This hotel does NOT have a spa as advertised. We were not informed that the spa was under renovation prior to arriving. We were only informed at check in only because i requested to book in for treatments amd for access to the spa facilities. The hotel had partnered up with a local spa which was also not finished, partially painted, jacuzzi freezing cold and not on, sauna warm not hot with broken time dial, relaxtion rooms filled with buckets and mops. We informed the hotel of this and i have been emailing the manager since retuning home all of whom were apologetic but did nothing really to help. You cannot advertise as having facilities and then shake off any responsibilities when you direct us somewhere that is also unfinished. The food at the hotel was rubbish - flavourless. The pool was cold. The bathroom constantly had flies. Save your money and book a different hotel - there are plenty down the beach with proper spa facilities, better food, are cleaner and with better trained staff. WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! WASTE OF MONEY. In response to your reply - if it was carefully selected why was it half painted, broken and dirty. As we were rushed out maybe others just left after their treatments and didn't use the spa circuit like you said we would have unlimited access to on the day of our treatment (surprise also not true we had an hour.) #YouDontCare

I’m a bit cross about this hotel. The outside area with gardens and pool is very well maintained, however apartment itself its not. Kettle was in good condition but smelled terrible and we had to ask for replacement. Apartments booked for 3 people (and the overall capacity is 4) but only 2 chairs on the terrace. Same with cutlery, missing dish cloth, dish soap, broom, not easy to keep your place clean during the stay. Staff not friendly. Wouldn’t recommend to ask them anything. Positive sides: Very good location and plenty of parking spaces along the building, lovely view from top floor apartment’s terrace. I wish to give 4 stars, but can only give 3 in this case.

Stayed here in the off season so it was very quiet but still very enjoyable. Choice of two pools and the rooms were spacious and had a lovely view of the pool and ocean in the distance. Staff were friendly and the hotel is located between old town and new so is an ideal location. Only had breakfast in the place as I dined out most evenings but breakfast was nice. Would have no problems in going back

Stayed at the above location with my husband and toddler. Sometimes IT IS BEST to read AND ACKNOWLEDGE what guests reviews are before staying!!!! Would love to give this place no stars at all except it won't let me submit my review without giving it a star. On arrival, we were greeted by an apparent non english speaking receptionist, who gave us no information whatsoever, and we later found out she has perfect english Cleaning was way below standards when it was done(my toddler would have done a better job) When we left the do not disturb sign up, the cleaners still barged in to do the cleaning, even when we said our toddler was sleeping Please be advised to not leave anything of value out on display when you leave as they seem to grow legs and disappear. We reported valuables missing and nothing was done about it, my husband spent the day in the police station to report this incident. Bottom line the hotel, management and staff have no respect or regard for the hard earned money me, you or anyone has spent to spend on a relaxing holiday in "their# resort WILL NEVER RETURN HERE AVOID AVOID AVOID

Would not return again and wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. Just returned. Cleaning very poor and general upkeep is of low standard. The staff at reception were so rude. Wouldn't hurt to smile and make people feel welcome. On our last day trees were being cut by the pool area as people were trying to relax and there was twigs ,dirt and dust everywhere. There were also alot of cockroaches for my liking around the area. We will definitely not be returning.

We are just back from a lovely week’s stay. Hotel is in a great position, staff are very friendly and helpful plus there was a great selection of food, even for the fussy eater! Rooms were extremely clean and tidied/towels changed daily except for Wednesdays. Pedro made some great cocktails and the bar prices were very reasonable. There was entertainment every night as well. We will definitely be visiting again.

It was a holiday in paradise I felt like a , the staff always made you feel welcomed. Nothing too much ! Plenty of choice of food apartments spacious clean and a cleaner 6 days a week apart from Wednesday s as it was their day off and right gully so. We could only buy half board or bed and breathing. At night at yhe bar is entertainment if you want it. Reasonable bar prices too. There is a breakfast and dinner buffet , all you can eat. Local Hippo supermarket at great prices around the corner. Down the hill is the harbour with cafe s and restaurants. Up the hill was the barbers shops and a shopping mall. Plenty of taxis and bus stop a minute walk from the hotel.

Lovely, clean, and very quiet place. We will be returning here for sure. Shop and restaurants are so close, but it's not in the busy area. Very close to the beach. The apartments are very nice and clean. Kitchen fully equipped, so the guests can cook for themselves everything. Bar, they have great maybe the price is not the lowest but the food are great!! They have amazing cook. At least for October, the place was just perfect. We will see how it will be in another month, next time.

Probably one of the nicest self catering apartments we have ever stayed at, compact and not over crowded. Staff, rooms and pool area all perfect. Great service from the baily bar and happy hour was a nice bonus. Filtered water in the room was also a nice touch. Only area that could be improved is when the pool was quiet (ie when only our kids were in the pool) the life guard could have been more flexible with the rules about toys in the pool, but saying that we will be back.

My family and I have just returned from an amazing holiday at Casas Heddy! What a wonderful place to relax, recharge and refresh. From the amazing pool bar to the celebration evenings, everything was perfect! A huge thank you to every member of staff who made our stay so special, particularly to Christina who is such an asset to Casas Heddy and made us feel at home. A lovely, peaceful stay was had here. Not too overcrowded and nice and clean. The breakfast was good for a 3 star hotel, and the staff friendly and attentive. The pool is clean and quiet, and some entertainment was laid on for the guests too. No rushes to get a sunbed and no screaming children. Great selection at brekkie the dinner menu you is measured to ensure health and vitality it’s all about the good nutrition. The team here are all lovely and not in your face. We've stayed in Puerto Del Carmen many times over the years and this was the first time we've stayed at Casas Heddy and it certainly won't be the last.This hotel is a little hidden gem up the top of a steep hill nearer the Old Town but the strip is still easily accessible. Our room was what I would call functional, kept spotlessly clean, with air con but the bathroom was a little dated.It was great to have your own sunbeds too. The breakfast spread is fabulous with anything you could possibly wish for (although the bacon could be crispier).Lovely fresh bread,various juices, fruit, cold meats and a full hot selection including an omelette station.We shared a hot lunch here and ate in the restaurant two evenings (4 different courses on offer each of our evenings for a set price or you can go a la carte ) and the food was really good. We also ate out at Toro, Asia Delicious, L'Italiano and La Casa Del Parmigiano which are all well worth a visit. Taxis to or from these restaurants are €4 - €5 from the hotel.The pool is lovely with a max.depth of 1.4m and it was good to see it catered for those who may be less able and there is also a lifeguard present. Around the pool its a quiet tranquil environment with no loud music apart from during the Aqua Gym session. You can hear faint music from the bar/restaurant the rest of the time. There is a great gym, a separate room with free weights and a couple of spin bikes.There is also an outdoor fitness training area complete with TRX and special thanks go to Michal the PT for his personal TRX coaching.There are various fitness sessions and relaxation classes you can avail yourself of or just chill in the sun by the pool. All the staff are friendly and helpful at Casas Heddy and try their absolute best to make sure your stay is a happy one and we will definitely be returning to stay here with them again.We loved seeing the little family of green parakeets that visit most days so keep an eye out for them too, you'll hear their arrival.

Friendly staff, great location between Puerto and Matagorda with back gate to long flat promenade. Excellent quality and variety of food in buffet. Sea view rooms are spacious and comfortable. Only criticism is that room access necessitates having to walk (sometimes with luggage) next to the pool through a crowd on sun loungers - needs a dedicated walkway for safety.

Great family hotel. Overlooking the beach. Food choices are limited but if you're happy with bread and butter and plain meats you'll be fine. Also available were fresh salad, meats and cheeses plus variety of puddings including cakes, jelly and ice cream. I liked the variety of meat and vegetable dishes but rest of my family weren't keen. Bar/dining staff were a bit rude at times but could just be a language barrier, some were very helpful. Great location for quiet holiday, 15min walk to the nearest decent supermarket but almost completely flat walk and choice of road or beach paths. Mini disco on a night for younger (up to age 10) kids, singers and performers for evening entertainment. We were hoping for a bingo night but no luck! Pool is cold but kids aren't bothered! Housekeeping is top level, daily beds made and bins emptied and fresh towels as required. Would recommend for families.

I unfortunately recently stayed at Plaza Palmeras in Lanzarote. The hotel is wrongly advertised as a 4-star property – it’s barely 2-star quality at best. **Key issues:** - **Awful food hygiene**: Leftover food was reused including seafood, fruit was off, so we couldn’t trust anything. The limited snacks (bread and butter) were served next to a bin, ham and cheese sandwiches left out for hours. The dining area is more like a dreary school or hospital cafeteria. You even have to pay extra for some items so not “all-inclusive” **Shabby facilities**: Outdated apartments, ripped old brown sofa, noisy doors, and peeling paint. The resort feels like a badly converted self-catering place. - **Safety risks**: Damaged life-saving equipment and numerous trip hazards, including a drain near the cafeteria. - **No entertainment**: Just a pool table and loud music during the day, with an empty, cold outdoor bar in the evenings, the only place to sit with watered down drinks. Despite raising these issues with the hotel and Love Holidays, I received no real response – except excuses. Stay far away from Plaza Palmeras if you are looking for a true 4-star holiday experience.

Wow. What can we say. An amazing holiday from start to the end. From the moment we arrived the staff were courteous and supportive. Wheelchair access is perfect and convenient. The rooms aren’t massive but perfect for two people for a week. The hotel is spotless and cleaned thoroughly. Rooms cleaned every other day. Air con is €10 to hire and refundable. The drinks glasses are €1 but also refundable. The food is great. Something suitable for everyone Good selection of drinks on the all inclusive. Close to the town although quiet and not noisy. Close to the supermarket to get every day supplies. Cannot recognise hotel enough. Will definitely return

Great all inclusive mini break, nearby to amenities and the beach, bars and restaurants. Lots of choice. The apartment room was clean and well maintained. Good value for money, food was pleasant especially breakfast there was always something to choose from. Loved the pool. Only negative is could of done with a fan in the room as pretty warm at night. Overall we had a lovely time and would definately return 🙂

We enjoyed our week at Bluesea Lanzarote Palm. The staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful. We were in rooms 57 and 58, beds very comfortable and very clean. The sofas aren't the comfiest but we were on the balconies most of the time so not the biggest problem. We were all inclusive. Drinks wise we aren't big drinkers so only had a few g +ts which were nice. The food, breakfast basic cooked and contential. Lunch and Dinner, we always found something we liked but could do with more variety. There was only evening entertainment 1 night while we were there and the bar was always pretty quiet. The pool area was kept clean and we always found a sunbed when we wanted one. The pool was a little chilly but fine once you were in. Location, the hotel is a 5-10 walk down to the main strip and beach. We did enjoy our walks down and gave us some exercise but it is a bit of a walk back up the hill, good for the calf muscles. The staff and the cleanliness of hotel are the big plus points. We would definitely stay again.

It has recently changed owners and I understand a few improvements have been made, but does require further improvement and updating to stay competitive. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, found the breakfast to be fresh and cleanly served with great staff in the dining room / kitchen.

So impressed. Chilled staff, checkin 3pm but staff were OK for us to use the facilities and leave our luggage in the lock room. 12 noon checkout which was great and could still use everything. Meant we had a very relaxed last day. Breakfast options excellent. Great pool too. We had room 327, 3rd floor, balcony not overlooked, view of the sea.

We are currently staying here, for the second time so a good time for a review. Decent well equipped rooms, very well cleaned by friendly housekeeping staff. Grounds are also very nice and well maintained. Bad points- apartment doors are not soft closure so you lie in bed listening to crash , bang as doors are slammed closed along the line. SMOKING - There is a sign outside the main reception saying no smoking, and no ashtrays seem to be on the balconies which is very good. Despite this people are smoking around the pool, on some balconies and next to the open breakfast room, sharing their disgusting habit with the whole breakfast area, and rooms nearby. It would be nice to sit outside for breakfast, but a few smokers ruin that idea. SUGGESTION - clearly identify the hotel as non smoking throughout, and enforce it, and use this as a marketing aid. Watch your bookings grow further! Sort out the smoking and soft door closures and this would be a 5 star review. Thanks.

Fabulous apartments. Pros, fab staff , lovely pretty pool area. Swanky new sunbathing deck, sauna, quite, any problems were addressed straight away. Towels provided for pool. Cons , no air conditioning, you can rent a unit but its very loud. Hardly no kids so probably more adult aimed. No floaties , no balls in pool , could be a pro if your not a child . They are very disability friendly. Spotlessly clean . Over all lovely apartments.

My fiance and I stayed here last week. We actually changed our hotel last minute as La Geria had some works being carried out and I didn't want to risk any noise disturbance whilst on holiday. The VIK San Antonio is absolutely beautiful, the staff are attentive and courteous. The food was absolutely brilliant and delicious, so much choice and great tasting. The pool area is stunning, you can hear the waves on the beach from your room. The daytime activities were great.We loved it and we'll be back next December. Thank you VIK.

My wife and l had a very pleasant ,10 night stay at the Vik San Antonio 02-12 January. The location,staff,and the hotel itself were all very nice, nice food and good entertainment. Negative reviews seem to focus on the advanced ages of most of the clients but although l fit into that category l found it was a nice mix of ages including plenty of young children just after Christmas. People need to read the reviews before they book and not trash the hotel because of it's clients ages. We had a great time and will be returning.

Sadly not POC friendly, had a few racist interactions with staff, treated completely differently then rest of the guests. Definitely NOT a 4* maybe it was in the 70s but the interior is extremely dated and run down, mould in the bathroom, dusty worn out rooms with filthy soft furnishings. The hotel is NOT family friendly, the average age of all clientele is 80 and they are the only ones catered to especially for food and evening entertainment. The food is terrible, we left every meal hungry and filling up on bread - a lot of pork and boiled potato - couldn't of been more disappointed for the price we paid. Also no food available between 4-6pm. Advertised as having heated pools but they're pretty cold and with nothing for in them, not even the kids pool. All families we interacted with said the same, just extremely uncomfortable, not relaxing or welcoming, definitely not somewhere we'd come back to sadly - I have a disabled baby that's spent the holidays in the hospital so we really wanted to go away as a family for a break but this was anything but. We all were ready to go home after the first night, we tried to move hotels but all were booked as its new years, never looked forward to going home so much.

The hotel is situated up a SMALL INCLINE unlike many other hotels! The staff are LOVELY and happy to help you in any way they can. The entertainment provided by the FANTASTIC AIDA 🤩 is inclusive and welcoming Food is varied and fresh and the SALADS are delicious. Breakfast omelettes are cooked fresh to order and fresh fruit, yogurt and breads are available. Like every “all you can eat” buffets, care should be taken NOT to overeat as strong sunshine and a very full stomach are not always a good combination 🙈 Rooms are functional and kept very clean

After spending 7 nights at this hotel I am sorry to say save your money. My friend and I asked to change rooms as soon as we saw ours, room 111 when we arrived on Monday 25 Nov 2024. We had to wait till Wednesday before we got a better room. The rooms were dated with rust around the edges of the bathroom mirror. Access to the shower involved climbing into a deep bath, not for the elderly. The hotel entertainment left a lot to be desired. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The mattresses on the beds in our second room 206 dipped in the middle and we had to turn them over and around to get a decent nights sleep. The food was mostly okay, however, I started with sickness and diarrhoea at 6 am Sunday 1 Dec, I spent the last day of my holiday in bed just drinking water. I could not risk being ill on the plane coming home the next day. I would not in all honesty recommend this hotel. Thank goodness the weather was good.

Just returned from a week stay at this hotel. Had an amazing time. Rooms are clean and attention to fresh towels and bed linen great. Sometimes the room cleaning service a little late in day getting done which can be a bit frustrating if you like a siesta in the afternoon. The range of food is very good. Over my week stay I never had same meal twice. Food could be hotter but I suppose it’s very difficult. I was travelling alone so preferred to stay in hotel at night. The entertainment was good, especially when hosted by the amazing “Dumi”….what a character! He had the whole place laughing, having fun and relaxing with each other. Special thanks to him for making my stay so enjoyable. Well done everyone at Hotel Pocillos. I will definitely return.

Excellent hotel. Just on the outskirts of Puerto del Carmen about half an hour walk to there but go other way to Matagorda about 15 minutes Hotel is adults only which makes it a really lovely place to sit back and relax. Aida the entertainer is lovely we joined in which is something I never do but she made it feel very comfortable and by doing this we got to know the other people which was great and ended up meeting up later for a drink. It was my birthday while we were out there and the hotel left me a bottle of bubbly in our room which was a nice touch. All in all excellent hotel will definitely be going back

The hotel is well located to all restaurants and bars. The food is very good and the hotel is spotless.The entertainment team makes the hotel they all work very hard to make your holiday. The entertainment in the hotel is ok, but the show the entertainment team performs on a Thursday night is outstanding. Franklin is so professional in what he does in the show. Jenni and Raquel are in the kids' club, and they are fantastic with the kids. You can tell that all three of them want to make you have the best holiday. I would definitely return to this hotel as we were made to feel so welcome by the whole entertainment team.

Hotel is OK but a bit dated, and the restaurant has more of a cafeteria feel rather than a 4* hotel dining room. The food was fine, although it got a bit boring after a few days because there wasn't much variation. The sunbeds need re-covering and they could do with toilets near the pool rather than only 2 public toilets in the hotel itself. The location however is great - you can see the sea at the end of the road and it's an easy, flat walk to beach, shops and amenities

About 20 mins (by taxi) from the airport, 300 metres from the beach the hotel is ina great location. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the entertainment is great and the facilities within the complex are brilliant. The food is delicious, lots of local and traditional dishes as well as other European food. We stayed in a superior room overlooking the main pool area and the views of the sunsets were beautiful. It was clean and well maintained, traditional. While we were there the entertainment team hosted evening parties, live music and a fire breathing show, something different every night. During the day there was archery, pool and table tennis. Lots of space and sun loungers round the main pool as well as two others to choose from. We had a great time and would love to come back 🥰

Spent 10days at las Costas , we went half board the food was very good best holiday my husband and I have had for a long time, the hotel was extremely clean and the gardens are well maintained. All the staff were very friendly especially Ellie our cleaner she is very hard working when asked for something it was never a problem for her to sort it out. We have change our holiday dates for next year with our companies, so we can come again as the hotel is closed in July for refurbishment so we have booked in August as we throughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The breakfast had lots of choice and it was well presented :) the pool bar was very clean and the chicken sandwich was excellent also very fresh :) although the fish and chips could do with revising :) definitely enjoyed our stay here we would definitely come back :) the location for the beach and walk to town was brilliant :)

My wife and I spent 17 nights from 19. November staying at this terrific hotel. On arriving we were greeted with a lovely glass of fizz. A slight problem was highlighted with our travel agent having only booked 15 nights. Not a problem for fantastic reception staff and Sebastian set to work on sorting it out . Within hours our booking was corrected a massive thanks to Sebastian for sorting it out so we could stay in the same room for the extra 2 nights👏. A real star. We stayed in the standard room on the ground floor and a real bonus was the 2 sun loungers on our patio. Rooms were spotless, bed was large and comfortable and room cleaned every day with fresh towels supplied. Safe in the room was 20€ returned on checking out. We booked 1/2 board and can’t speak highly enough as the food was restaurant quality. Breakfast was fruit,breads,pastries cereals with followed by a hot breakfast where you could order whatever you wanted. Omelette,any type of egg,bacon,sausage,mushrooms,hash browns and beans which was served at your table. Dinner was a 3 course from a set menu plus a specials board to choose from. Staying 17 nights we tried everything and cannot find anything to say on the quality,portions and choice except that it was fantastic. If I was to name the staff in the restaurant I would need to compliment every one of them as they were friendly efficient and made our stay really enjoyable. A big thank you to them all for making our stay a terrific experience. Location is 600 yards uphill from the strip which wasn’t an issue but if you felt the need for a taxi they are plentiful. We never found the need. Pools were clean and plenty loungers as a lot of guests used the loungers on the patio/balconies. Public places were cleaned continuously and communal toilets spotless. Even though it was November there was entertainment most nights if you didn’t fancy the tribute acts and singers on the strip.. On speaking to other guests it was clear they were regulars coming back each year.. In summary having travelled abroad for 50 years this is by far the best hotel we have visited. It’s hard to believe but the reviews are correct it’s 10/10.

Entertainment not great and location up a little hill, was not problem to us but if you have a mobility issue it could be. Loads of places to eat and drink within a 5 min walk. It was our anniversary just before we came and they dressed the room and left us a bottle of fizz, lovely touch. We are already planning on returning

Just home today after spending 20 days in this beautiful hotel, the rooms where very spacious and clean, loved having your own sun loungers at you patio. There was no problem getting sun beds at any time of the day which was great. Breakfast was very nice, had lunch once here which was also very nice. The pool was lovely but very cold as was the jacuzzi. The hotel is on a hill but not to bad, maybe not the best if in a wheelchair. Not many kids at the hotel but to be fair there is not much here for them. I did take my gym wear to use the little gym but did use as to be fair it is not the best but that isn’t a problem. Would definitely go back here again. You also get a bottle of water in your room every day and a bottle of wine on arrival in your fridge.

I stayed at Aquasuites in early December 2024, and I had to give it 5 stars and sing its praises here. I have a lot of food allergies and finding places to eat comfortably abroad can be difficult. Aquasuites was incredibly accommodating to my allergies, going out their way to find things that I could eat. I have never even felt so comfortable eating at a restaurant in the UK. The staff are all lovely and friendly, and the hotel just has a lovely vibe. I certainly will be back!

What can I say! I was well and truly looked after. The service was 10/10. My light was out on my balcony it was sorted straight away. Anything I asked for in addition to my stay, again was dealt with promptly. The staff...the friendliest I've ever experienced. It was my birthday and they all made a big deal :) The food plenty of choice and absolutely everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. There wasn't 1 thing that i didn't enjoy and i can be picky. The room was a lil dated but they are undergoing renovations over the next few months. Rooms cleaned daily. Location great. Beach,shops and bars not even a 2min walk. Overall I had an amazing stay and will definitely be returning especially as I promised the bar staff ;)

I recently stayed her for the weekend and this is my second time at this hotel. This is the most welcoming amazing hotel. The food is great, the drinks are great, the entertainment is great the staff here are amazing. The lady on the steak/chicken griddle is so lovely and is amazing at cooking a perfect steak. Honestly there is nothing to complain or moan about. It’s lovely and quiet and just perfect for a relaxing break. Stayed here last year with family. It has got to be one of the best hotels I have ever been in. Lots of guests said they return year in year out because of the food and boy, were they right! Fabulous food, wide variety and cooked right in front of you. Pools were great and loved the pool bar. Hotel is situated right in the centre of a busy area, but you wouldn’t know. The gate opens out to across from the beach. Will definitely be returning with more family members.

Incredible hotel, amazing attentive staff. My first visit to this hotel. Would gladly recommend. All felt very quiet and private. Felt more like an experience than any other hotel I have ever stayed in. Very clean throughout. Vast breakfast selection. Xiomara was incredible on reception (definitely a manager in the making) made the hotel feel like a second home, something I have never experienced elsewhere. Ever. My first visit and I am in very little doubt it will be my last. Cannot recommend enough. My only one thing to note is top of hill so may not be any good for people with mobility issues.

This is a lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dissapointing points of the hotel to us was the pool and the lack of amenities. The pool is more of a cooling off pool, it is not a swimming pool as not deep enough, only one side of the pool is suitable for a swim. We arrived off the plane and by the time we had got checked in and showed to our room it was early evening. We decided to go for a drink after out full travel day only to find the main bar didnt open until 6.30pm and the pool bar closed at 6.00.pm. As we were still in our travel gear we really didn't feel like sitting by the pool and especially as we didn't have long enough to enjoy it. We arent big drinkers at all but a nice long cool drink would been lovely after a days travelling. The hotel is well situated but if you go to the main bars on the resort, it is uphill on the way back. The breakfast bars were very well stocked and a good choice. There was the usual people saving sun loungers by the pool early morning and no idea why as plenty of loungers. Not what we expect from a boutique hotel. The staff will go out their way to provide a good service for you tho but for us we won't go back. Lovely hotel and rooms but lacking on amenities.

Best hotel ever. Ever. We booked direct, which meant that the hotel threw in a free airport transfer (air conditioned Mercedes). Having caught a fairly early flight, we arrived well before check in time and were given a free glass of cava, use of their changing and bathroom facilities to freshen up, and their secure luggage store, and we were invited to use the pools etc as we wished. The hotel feels like a collection of separate suites built around a maze of beautifully-tended pathways and immaculate tropical planting. There is one smallish outdoor pool, and a second slightly smaller one adjacent with waterfall and spa bubbles. There's a bar and a spacious terrace here too, with loungers and stunning views across the water. There's also a small gym within the complex, with a couple of weight machines, limited free weights up to 14kg, and a couple of cardio machines. At 3pm our room was ready so we were welcomed with more cava, given a voucher for yet more free cava in the cocktail bar later, and then escorted down. We'd booked a basic room which consisted of bedroom area with a vast and very comfortable bed, a bathroom with waterfall shower, and a living area with sofa, chairs and a well stocked and affordable mini bar. There was a beautiful outside area through sliding doors at the far end of the suite, with chairs, loungers and ocean view. Everything was immaculate, and there was a constant stream of discreet cleaners and maintenance folk around the complex. Since we were here for a special occasion, the team also knocked on our door with a bottle of complimentary fizz five minutes later. The hotel is at the top of the main strip down to the harbour (not that this means noise or intrusion), so lots of restaurants and bars nearby, plus late-opening supermarket very close. Puerto el Carmen didn't seem like the greatest resort but this hotel was a bubble of utter luxury. The cocktail bar was good, the staff were universally friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was amazing. Again, it included help-yourself bubbles, if that's your thing, but also beautiful breads, wicked baked goods, fresh juices, cheeses, meats, cooked special items and extra buffet hot food. If you've ever fancied a full honeycomb, celery and cucumber juice, or potato foam on your egg, you can get them all here. Check out was at 12, and they booked us a shower room for our own use before the car back to the airport in the afternoon. "You're still at home" said the lady on reception as we hamded back our room card. I don't usually bother with writing reviews but this place was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful, the welcome was generous, and every aspect of the facilities was brilliant. It's not a cheap place, but it's incredible value for what it offers. Truly exceptional.

Rooms are lovely and spacious. All the amenities that you would expect from a five-star hotel are included, and beds are very comfortable. What I like about the balcony is that it is both spacious and covered so if it is raining, you can continue using it. The view of the sunsets from the balconies are great too. Rooms are cleaned daily, and you need not bring many toiletries with you as a dental kit, shaving kit, soap, shower gel and conditioner are all provided. The rainfall shower leaves you feeling invigorated, and afterwards you can wrap up in the free bathrobe and slippers.

The rooms are spotless and nothing is missed. A very good option in Lanzarote. The hotel is modern and new. The service is great, everyone is very attentive and make you feel like home. It has parking which is a plus, as renting a car is a must in the island. Buffet is good, not a lot of variety but quality food. There’s a food theme every night which means food options change daily. Overall really recommend this hotel!

Rooms nice, big and clean. Best locations just few steps from the beach. Everything top! Very nice and helpfull staff 💙 Just a small minus for a food and the pool area. We didn't have option without HB, we think it's not the best option. Every breakfast and evening the same food. It will be much nicer whidout food. At pool the problem with resevation of sunbeds...and hotel don't seem to care about it. And if you have a late fligh.. 20 € for extension by one hour.... We have the a good time but still there some staff that can be done better.

We enjoyed staying at the Plus Fariones Suite Hotel but our "Select" experience was tainted by a few service issues that could have been handled better. Firstly, milk wasn't provided in the room and when asking the receptionist for some, she looked at me like I was on a different planet. I was informed there was nothing she could do. Well, I went to the Select lounge and got my own. The second issue was our mini-bar wasn't replenished, nor were the coffee pods, tea..., oh, and milk. We were also left with dirty cups, glasses, and cutlery. I informed reception and room service three times during the afternoon and evening that it hadn't been done. We returned to the room after midnight to discover it still hadn't been done. I, again, informed reception but it was too late. The only option was to get some "supplies" from the lounge. Mistakes happen but it's the fact they were well aware of the issue that annoyed me. A gift of apology would have gone a long way to alleviate my displeasure seeing as we had paid extra for a service we did not receive. Fortunately, there are plenty of positives to mention. We received a warm 5-star welcome with drinks. The hotel is clean and modern (if a little soulless in the open-plan corridors). Our 4th floor split-level open-plan select suite was spacious, nicely furnished, and well-appointed with a large balcony overlooking the sea. The pool area is beautiful with a luxury feel. It's better than some 5-star hotels I've visited. It features a saltwater pool but that didn't bother me. It's just about big enough to swim a length. The pool overlooks the beautiful Playa Los Fariones beach. The Select lounge was nice with some useful amenities. There's a coffee machine and a kettle for tea. There's a selection of soft and alcoholic drinks including wine and beer. There was a small, rather limited, selection of food... three plates to be exact. The Select private rooftop terrace was a peaceful relaxing spot with plenty of sunbeds and a small pool to cool off. The amenities are similar to the lounge but there's no alcohol. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed à la carte breakfast in the VIP Select area of the restaurant. The tower of croissants, doughnuts, fresh fruit and yoghurt was a nice touch. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and looked after us well. Is it worth upgrading to Select service? Yes, just about. Regarding wheelchair accessibility. The hotel is wheelchair accessible apart from the private rooftop terrace. There's one step but plenty of room to add a ramp. The lounge has a lift which didn't work with our select room keys. You will need someone to press the button inside the lounge to get the lift to work. The hotel has accessible rooms but I think these may be limited to the ground floor. The room we saw had no privacy as it was located on the main path to the pool. It also had no afternoon sunshine. Overall, The hotel is set up to be 5-star and could achieve that with some improvements to customer service and accessibility. I'd stay here again, although I don't particularly like PDC as apart from the trendy beach club and a handful of others, there are too many tacky bars/restaurants, and bazaar-type shops selling all the same poor-quality fakes. Meloneras in Gran Canaria is considerably more upmarket.

Came home a week ago after an amazing stay at this hotel. All staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our room was on the third floor, which was absolutely stunning, with views overlooking the pool and bar area and sea view 😍 All areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean and kept to a very high standard. we spent a week at the hotel in October 24 on half board basis. The hotel has been recently refurbished, and the work that has been done is amazing. The hotel looks fantastic, both inside and out. There's a real feel of luxury here, the decor is modern and classy, the pool area is beautiful, and the restaurant is also fitted out to a high standard. The hotel overlooks the beach and sea front. You can hear the waves crashing as you sit on your balcony or when eating at the restaurant. The rooms are also nice, however, the suite, which we had booked, was a bit sterile, the bedroom was great with fantastic wardrobe and storage, the bathroom was also well appointed but the living area was just a bit bland, a bit more effort here really would have made the whole experience feel nearly 5 stars. There is a gym onsite also, which is basic but clean and has enough to get you by for a week. The staff were all really nice and helpful. The pool area is not equipped with enough sunbeds for the number of guests. Many times, we arrived after breakfast and could not find a pair of sun loungers together where we could relax by the pool. Most of the sun loungers are reserved with towels by guests from early in the morning, We observed loungers not being used for 5 or 6 hours some days, but the towels were not removed by staff to allow others to use the loungers. On 2 of the 7 nights, the food was really good. The remaining nights, the food was just average. There are areas of the hotel that are reserved for "select" customers. To avail of the select areas, you must pay an additional 70 euro/PP/per day. There are no coffee making facilities provided in the rooms. Again, you can pay an additional 5 euro/day for a machine to be provided. For a hotel of this quality, you would expect coffee/tea making facilities to be included. The hotel is not cheap, one week on half board for 2 persons will cost you around 2K. the hotel does look like a 4 Star Hotel, but the negative aspects we experienced would reduce this to a 3.5-star experience.

The ventilation system during the day is annoying. Another ventilation system coming from the kitchen (dixit reception) started every night at 3 AM, we found really disruptive & noisy, stayed in room 550. Positive : good location, spacious suite with separate bedroom, nice terrace & good full breakfast.

After our holidays, on our way back to the airport, we stopped in Puerto del Carmen just to have a short look at the hotel Fariones. We asked, if we could have a look around. Then Carla from the experience team guided us through the whole area, shows us all the specials, like the amazing garden and beaches and even checked which room is free for a short view. She spent approximately 30 minutes to showing and explaining us all the highlights. We felt very welcome from the first minute, even though we were only interested - no guests. We already have booked our next holidays at the hotel Fariones and can recommend it. Thank you Carla for being so kind and lovely.

Wow. What an amazing stay we had here. From when we arrived the service was first class. We were welcomed by Mario, who was an absolute star who couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel itself was outstanding with a beautiful ambiance. We had no problems at all finding sun loungers and did not need to rush to reserve. All the staff from the breakfast restaurant, Bar lounge, and pool service, especially Sylvia were amazing. Our room had a beautiful view and the sound of the ocean was like nothing else. We also upgraded to a junior suite for our last night as it was my husbands birthday and it was worth every penny. We can’t thank you all enough for making our holiday so special and look forward to booking our next one.

We are just back from 5 days at this wonderful hotel. It was an oasis of calm we absolutely loved it and will be returning next year! Staff are fantastic the hotel is spotless, and the maids do a tremendous job. This is a perfect hotel for couples so relaxing. Loved every single minute. The breakfast is the best I've had in any hotel anywhere! The massage was wonderful! We had a fantastic sea view.

Location is fabulous right on beech. Pool & sun-bed areas are excellent great choice and not on top of One another and can find your own little corner to sit if needed. Food is lovely in buffet restaurant Breakfast has great choice Bar service at times of can be slow. Need more staff behind bar when busy.

My wife and I went for a week and had a fantastic time. As others have said, as soon as you step into the hotel youknow you are in good hands. The design is modern but cosy, the rooms (and beds!) are super comfortable, and the food really delicious. Above all though is the service - everyone there clearly enjoys their job and wants to make sure all guests have a good time. A special call out to Silvia and Miguel at the pool who were friendly, efficient and always ready with advice and a conversation. Many of the people we spoke to had been multiple times - that's just the kind of place it is.
