Just arrived what’s with the buffet ???? Coke out of a bottle ? Nothing much to eat either ? Buffet like a free for all, not escorted to seat. Small selection. Resorted to room service and that was awful, it arrived to the room in tin foiled covered plates, no cutlery and no napkins. The food was stone cold and barely edible. It was left outside the room for over 24 hours. My brother ordered a chicken burger on the phone and a beef burger arrived instead. Not once did the cleaner replenish our sugars or o there amenities. My parents are In the savoy the lobby is beautiful nice music playing, beautiful smell, fresh flowers, why is the sierra such a down grade even though it’s under the same management? For the sierra To be apart of the same group as the savoy is totally embarrassing I’d be ashamed to admit it. Rooms are absolutely spotless but not very homely and need updating. To get to the rooms you have to climb up these horrible stairs. Balcony door is very stiff, really struggle to open the door - The balconies are fairly small but do the job, not well constructed. Also, The balcony was plastered in bird poo, we did tip the man for him to clean the balcony but when we returned it was still there. The air conditioning isn’t amazing but not bad. Swimming Pools look nice. Without sounding petty it’s a Shame about the coloured buildings. The sun beds are very cheap and uncomfortable not one piece of cushioning on them. We went for lunch in the buffet today and oh my god absolutely horrendous, rice potato’s and fish cakes, I had to spit the fish cakes out tasted awful. Not one burger, pizza or chips in sight. If you’re happy to eat olives then this is the hotel for you. Staff aren’t very friendly not many hellos but the odd one might be helpful if you tip them. Can’t get any cans of drinks without being told you have to pay for them even though it’s supposed to be an all inclusive hotel. No milkshakes / smoothies or anything like that near the pools side. When we were down by the pool our room was being cleaned, we came back to the same dirty stain that was on the worktop, they changed the towels but when we went to use it later on it had a brown stain on it. We are leaving later today, as we were checking out, not one person asked us how our stay was.
We will 100% be returning to sharm el sheikh, we will be staying in the savoy hotel my parents absolutely loved it there, not one fault at all, There is no comparison between the two hotels. I’m sure they will be doing a fantastic review for the savoy.

Staff = 4/5: The resort staff provided attentive support overall, though initial room induction lacked detail. Communication challenges due to limited English proficiency were noted.
Room/facilities = 5/5: Spacious rooms with comfortable amenities, including a balcony overlooking the main pool. The heated main pool and convenient bar were highlights for family enjoyment.
Food = 1/5: Limited vegetarian options and random selection disappointed. Cross-contamination concerns were raised. Expectations for a 5-star experience were not met.
Activities = 3/5: Diverse pool options and spa amenities available. Disappointment arose from the restriction on children's access to the spa. External activities incurred additional fees.
Diversity and Inclusion = 3/5: Limited cultural exposure among locals led to misidentification and stereotyping. Humorous dismissal of ignorance prevailed. Sierra guests hailed from various countries.
Overall summary = 3/5: Sierra offers an affordable 3-star getaway with family-friendly amenities. For a more upscale experience and superior dining options, exploring alternative resorts in Sharm is recommended.

I recently stayed at the hotel and overall, it was a decent experience. The cleanliness of the hotel was well-maintained, and although the rooms were a bit outdated, they were still kept in good condition. The staff were all polite and appeared to be well-trained, which was a positive aspect of our stay.
However, there were a few areas that fell short of our expectations. As vegetarians, we were disappointed with the food options provided. The chef attempted to accommodate us with a few additional dishes, but we found ourselves eating the same things without much variety. Considering it was a 5-star hotel, we had higher expectations in terms of the vegetarian menu.
The snacks at the Andiamo bar were particularly disappointing. The pizza had low-quality cheese, and the mushroom soup lacked flavour and seemed to be made with boiled milk with mushrooms added to it. It was not up to the standard we anticipated. Presentation of food wasn’t good considering this is a five star hotel.
Additionally, we had arranged for breakfast to be packed for us when we were flying to Cairo. Unfortunately, the cheese sandwiches were dry as they lacked butter, and the overall quality was subpar. Furthermore, the orange provided was difficult to peel, making it impractical for us to eat.
Another aspect that requires improvement is the consistency of the mocktails. On multiple occasions, my daughter ordered a Cinderella Mocktail, but each time it had a different taste. This inconsistency was disappointing, and it is suggested that the hotel implements a more accurate measuring system to ensure consistency in the taste of their mocktails going forward. Guests should be able to rely on the same flavour and quality when ordering a specific mocktail.
We were also disappointed with the temperature of the spa pool and the Andiamo pool as they were cold, rendering them unusable (maybe done to save on costs?). Furthermore, the volleyball pool did not have a volleyball, which seemed pointless to have a dedicated pool without the necessary equipment.
Another inconvenience was that the staff would take away the equipment for ping-pong and football pool around 5:30 pm, making it impossible for guests to play afterwards. This policy seemed unnecessary and limited the enjoyment of these amenities.
Moreover, we found that the other activity equipment provided by the hotel was of low quality. For example, the foot pool balls were ripped and the pool balls at Hakuna Matata walls were damaged. This affected the overall experience and made it difficult to fully enjoy these activities.
Lastly, the hotel advertises the Soho shopping center next to it. However, we found that the shops in the area mostly sold cheap fake designer goods, which was disappointing and not what we expected.
The hotel provided a free ticket to go bowling at SOHO Square, but we found the equipment there to be poor as well. All the bowling balls were chipped, making it difficult to play properly.
Beach area was small and disappointing.
In summary, while the hotel had its positive aspects such as cleanliness and polite staff, there were several areas where improvements could be made. Enhancing the vegetarian food options, addressing the quality of snacks, maintaining appropriate pool temperatures, ensuring availability of necessary equipment, and improving the overall quality of activity equipment would greatly enhance the guest experience.

In the heart of Soho Square, this resort was by far my favourite place to stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of extra amenities available to hotel guests, including free shuttle services to places such as Old Town, Naama Bay and more. The hospitality at this hotel was impeccable, food was delicious and overall atmosphere was incredible. Sierra uphold an amazing service and experience.
